Riu Santa Fe: March Break Santa Fe

The hotel was gorgeous. The views were amazing. The food was good and plenty of it everywhere. We didn’t know it was spring break also in the United States and our hotel was like a frat party for the majority of the week. When Friday and Saturday finally arrived there was a different atmosphere at the hotel. You didn’t feel like you had to fight to get drinks but someone was coming to you to ask if you want a drink. We were told to come back at 7:20 but watched the man take others before our reservations or others that spoke Spanish. They very much encourage you to use their app when you are there so it only makes sense that you should be allowed to make reservations on the app as well to help reuse people having to get dressed and then find something to do for an hour before they are allowed to have dinner.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Los Cabos

This hotel is an older hotel that has been maintained, our initial check in was efficient but paperwork was poorly explained and we were not given pool towel cards(we received them the following day). Was also not explained that to access à la cart meals you needed to go daily and register for those between 11am-230pm. Staff was friendly and food very good. When the hotel is busy there are not enough chairs for number of guests making enjoying pools disappointing. Our over all experience wa [... read more]s good and would go back again.

Riu Palace Baja California: Excellent Resort in Cabo

The resort was beautiful and had every service and ammenties avaialable as expected. We booked a standard room which was beyond expectations with the size including full bath and balcony. Service was excellent and rooms and hotel cleaned daily. Food was five star with many vegetarian options.Overall location wa stunning with views of the Arches and close to Medano beach.

Royal Solaris: Nice resort

Great kids area separate from resort pool. Included slides, activities and grassy play area. My grandkids loved it.Clean resort, nice staff. Food not overly great, but breakfast choices very good.Unable to swim in ocean due to very strong undercurrents. Pools great but get there early to get a chair.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Had the Best Time!

Loved this place. I've stayed in a few resorts, condos and houses in the area and this was good bang for the buck. Received a complimentary upgrade to an Oceanview room overlooking the main pools in the Palmilla building. The room was just ok with a couple of plumbing issues but the view made up for it. Mostly hung out at the beach close to the adult pool and met so many friendly and wonderful people. Travelled with my 25 year old and "jelled" with adults of all ages. Could always find some [... read more]thing at the buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The best a la Carte restaurants for dinner were the Japanese and Italian restaurants. Staff all worked hard and were friendly. Make sure to scan the QR code at the front desk or check the board for weekly activities. Karaoke nights were so much fun! Weather was perfect and the whales and manta rays jumping out front were entertaining. Re Covid - Some staff wear masks, there were no obvious sanitization protocols and no hand sanitizer available at restaurants/buffets. We were told that we would be required to wear a mask when entering restaurants and it could be removed once seated. No one did this and it was never enforced.

Posada Real Los Cabos: Very simple

The resort was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast and lunch were good. Dinner was not great.. we ended up eating off the resort most nights. There just wasn’t much variety to choose from. No bar fridge in the room. The beds were horrible. Definitely not a fancy resort.

Riu Santa Fe: Love Cabo!

This was our third trip to the RIU Santa Fe resort the make over was clean beautiful! The selection of food was less than previous years and twice I was told they were out of white wine at dinner time and they didn’t serve mimosas anymore 🙁 at breakfast. The pools are clean and beautiful and big! Unfortunately this was our first time going during spring break in the US, never again! Noisy, drunken young adults! And lastly I wish they adhered to their dressing policy many times at lunch girl [... read more]s with no coverups, the cheeks of their asses hanging out sitting on chairs that other people have to occupy after and at dinner guys with sleeveless tank tops not a good look for dinner ☹️

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Heavenly Resort

The pools were fantastic and afforded a stunning view of the ocean. The grounds were well-maintained. There was an abundance of activities throughout the day such as water Zumba & exercises, Spanish classes, stretching exercises, water volleyball and bingo. The restaurants offered a wide selection of items.

Riu Santa Fe: Cabo Mexico Family Trip

Hotel itself was nice and well maintained. Disco Pacha music was way too loud and the bass could be heard in building 3 across the pool area from 11 pm to 2 am. Room doors slam too loudly at all hours.

Riu Santa Fe: Amazing Resort!

The resort was beautiful. Very well kept and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was nothing spectacular, but was okay. You could always find something to eat, but everything is very bland tasting in my opinion. More pool activities could have been offered at the upper pool not by the ocean. The nightly entertainment shows were okay; some better than others. This is our second time staying at this resort and I would recommend it.

Hacienda Encantada Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort but has some flaws

The Hacienda Encantada is an absolutely beautiful resort, very Spanish in terms of the architecture. The landscaping is gorgeous and the entire resort is kept spotless. The pools were very clean indeed. We had a one bedroom suite and it was amazing. We loved it. We went for 3 weeks all inclusive. Having said that, this resort very much caters to the time share or owners as they liked to be called. As the owners cook their own meals, the breakfast buffet (Las Marias) for the other guests i [... read more]s extremely small (the smallest we’ve ever seen in 30 yrs of travelling all inclusive). The egg lady has the grill up far too hot and doesn’t speak any English so getting a properly cooked egg was a hit and miss. I will give shout outs to 3 employees at Las Marias. Alejandro, Estela and Fernanda were lovely people and very quick with their service and always with a smile. The other restaurants are all open air and it was very cool while we were there but they do their best to keep you warm with blankets and heaters. Our issue being all in for 3 weeks was that the menus got very tiresome. Lots of seafood options and a lot of Mexican food options. I would have to say that the lunch options were scarce if you want to eat healthy. Most of the items on the menus were greasy fried food. A free shuttle to and from the Golden Zone, along with 6 other options there for lunch and dinner helped with a change of scenery. In terms of post Covid cleanliness, the resort charges $5usd for each day of your stay for sanitation. We did see some restaurants cleaning tables and place mats etc but unfortunately we did see the cooks in the The Patio cross contaminate while cooking. Shout outs to Raul our bartender at the adult pool. He was amazing as was Roberto and Gustavo, the servers. Also shout outs to Oscar at Los Riscos, Javier at Borolo and Onell at Il Forno. Two other things we did not prefer is that the on-site store did not take cash, everything had to be charged to your room or credit card. The other thing is that, for everything you eat or drink, it must be signed for. Like previously said, we have travelled all in for over 30 yrs and have never seen this practice ever before. As beautiful as this resort is, we will not be returning.

Royal Solaris: Amazing Employees

The staff was so amazing and helpful, trying to help us with our airline problems. We were given the wrong room upon arrival, and Dr J, helped in getting us a beautiful room. The hotel was clean, both the ground and the hotel. They done everything trying to make sure that we had a good time. If I was to say anything that could be improved was the food. The first night, most of the food was cold in the buffet. The pizza from the Pizza Hut was good, but something that I ate at the outside buffet  [... read more]did not agree with me. The guys just inside the resort doors were so much fun.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Santos Finisterra

Spent last week at this resort. No complaints! The food was excellent and I must say for an all inclusive it was nice to be served dinner. The only complaint I have is the quality of the house wine. The check in and check out was extremely easy and even though we we stayed another week elsewhere there was no rush for them to send us off and we could use all the facilities until we called a cab for pick up. The mornings were cool but it was nice to walk around the marina during this time

Riu Santa Fe: Great Resort for All Ages

Large, well organized resort but suprisingly easy to walk. Great kids waterpark and kids entertainment programs. Adult waterpark is a bonus. Never a problem getting seats at mainpool, beach pools or ocean. Food venues gladly accomodated our large griup varying 8-14 persitting. Numerous bars and quick food outlets spread throughout the resort. Hint, if with young kids, avoid buildings 8 & 9 located in Party Zone.

Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos: Very enjoyable stay at a great resort !

Pros: Beautiful resort . Staff and service were both great ! Great proximity to airport - Checkin was seamless. Rooms were great ! Shower was amazing ! Food was 7/10 but overall nothing wrong with it . Cons: some really rude guests . So unfortunate as it ruined a few parts of the day but fortunately the resort is big enough to move spots , so not a huge deal .

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fabulous Resort

My husband and I spent two lovely weeks enjoying this resort. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Staff were continuously cleaning and grooming the resort area. Workers in all areas were helpful, friendly and very diligent with their job. Large pool areas to choose from with plenty of chairs always available. The buffets were extensive and always tasty. We never encountered any waiting lines except for the evening meal in the specialty restaurants. Have to go early (or later in the  [... read more]evening) if you decide on one of the special restaurants. We tried four and all were very good. We also enjoyed going to the large bar off the reception area which has beautiful views of the ocean. Only downfall would be for anyone wanting to swim in the ocean. There is a beautiful, well maintained beach but the water is very rough. Transfers between the airport and resort were well organized by the helpful Sunwing staff. Sunwing personnel also helped us book our two cities tour which was quite informative and well organized. We did have issues particularly during the afternoon and early evenings with very poor Wi-Fi. For two weeks, we watched the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and lots of boats, cruise ships and various water sports taking place right off our wonderful balcony.

Riu Santa Fe: Nice Resort

We were charged $471.52 pesos for taxes upon check in. We booked AI, no taxes should be payable at resort. Fire Alarms woke us up 6 times in 2 weeks. No Fire. Sunwing Rep refers to Reception for everything. Local Bus driver attacked at Bus stop while we were passengers. No pillow cases - just pillow protectors after room cleaned. Condensation running down patio doors most mornings. Temperature in room 21.5.

Riu Santa Fe: Fantastic experience

This resort was amazing! The staff was accommodating and kind. Everything was clean and well looked after. The drinks and food were incredible and lots of variety on both. The pools were a little cold but manageable with the warm weather, the beach was clean and the resort offered lots of beach beds and umbrellas. The mini games like darts and volleyball were so fun and such a nice touch to have such activities included. Overall best hotel I've ever been to and will definitely be coming back.

Riu Santa Fe: Family and Friends Trip to Riu Santa Fe

We had a great week at the Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos. This is a big resort with lots of amenities. Rooms and grounds were clean and attractive. Staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were very good and the food was good but lacking Mexican Authenticity. We enjoyed the buffet the most and found the restaurants to be nothing special. The resort was busy but not overwhelming. The beach is long but it’s not safe to swim in the ocean. The view of the ocean, arch and ships/yachts was beautiful. [... read more] Overall this was a great resort which I would recommend to those looking for a good time. It is not a quiet peaceful resort. It has lots of atmosphere.
