Melia Las Americas: Wonderful resort

The hotel and grounds were well kept. We did stay in The Level portion of the resort. The staff were very helpful with any of our requests. The pools were clean and the seating areas around them were well laid out. The food throughout the resort was well prepared and better than anticipated. We did take advantage of the golf course next door. I would return to this resort as it was a great holiday.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Amazing resort

My husband, sister and I went on vacation to this resort. It was the most amazing resort. Best vacation we have ever been on. We connected with the entertainment staff, Emilio, Alejandro, Thalia and Fito made our stay absolutely the best. The rooms were clean, vibe was good, beach was amazing and food was good as well. The 3 of us cannot say enough good things about this resort.

Sol Palmeras: Beautiful experience

As usual once again Ali did not disappoint all suggestions and tips were right on point. We knew everything in mind before going and as expected nothing went wrong. The bungalow at Sol Palmera was ideal for our big family of 5. Will definitely come again the beach was beautiful.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Wonderful Resort!

We had a great experience. Public relations staff topnotch compared to most resorts that we have been. Cleaned well maintained grounds, rooms cleaned daily hot water, good shower good ac. Attentive waiters at the buffet, good food, wine, beer. Good breakfasts, lots of eggs, bread juice coffee etc. Wonderful beach lots of beach chairs, the resort was not operating full capacity, maybe 40%, great pool. Activities at beach and pool. We enjoy it very much

Iberostar Coral Holguin: Love this place!

We had a group of six women on this trip!! Fantastic beach, friendly, helpful staff that made for a safe, fun, relaxing stay. Rooms were clean, food was fantastic and service was exceptional. I will return and bring even more friends!

Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Cuba Jan 16-23 2026

Great trip to take off from Canada, the only issues we had was that our shoes and one of my hand made cigar cutters was stolen from the air port. Our door broke for our hotel, but other than that it was a good trip, we always book with trip central and I recommend it, the political situation of Cuba affected food but that is out of everyones hands and understanding. Thank you for giving us a chance to leave the country

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Wonderful Vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at Paradisus Princesa Del Mar, January 16 - 23, 2026. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the room was also well kept and clean. The food was delicious, plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the freshly cooked turkey. Beach was amazing and the hotel staff were friendly and were happy to assist. I will definitely return!

Hotel Mojito: Amazing resort

My room was dated but very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a nice variety of food at the buffet, I really enjoyed the pasta bar and variety of seafood. There was pork and chicken options and lots of cooked veggies. Breakfast was delicious with the best sweet rolls I have ever tasted. The Mojito is my go to place in CUBA!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Awesome Holiday!

From the moment we booked with Jairus, we were kept up to date and informed of all the details and options available to us. EXCELLENT service! The hotel was fully staffed with friendly, happy, helpful people. The room was clean and the resort was well laid out and clean. The food was delicious, the pools were perfect, and the entertainment was super good! There was always a cabana available at both the beach and pool; bonus!!!

Playa Punta Hicacos: Mixed rewiew

This resort looks aesthetically beautiful.  Nice design.  Outside the buildings are nice. They're always washing the floors. The lobby is close to the beach.  The bartenders were wonderful.  Great coffee shop. Now, as for the food, it was mediocre. The food that should be hot was lukewarm to cold unless you had grilled chicken or fish or pasta that they made for you, which was fine.  Not a lot of selection in bread, just these round buns. Pastries all taste the same.  Not a lot of selection i [... read more]n fruit. The pineapple wasn't ripe. The rooms were outdated, but I kind of knew that going there. I had no hot water from the time I was there.  After three days of asking, I gave up. Overall, I would give this resort a three-star rating!

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Great vacation in January 2024

We have been booking our winter vacations with TripCentral for over 20 years. It has always been a problem-free and stress-free process. The beach and the grounds are gorgeous, the hotel and the pools were well-maintained, internet access in the rooms and at the pools, no problems with hot water or electricity, the food was fine, and there were daily activities and entertainment in the evenings. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel organizes a special dinner party for their repeat customers. We are certainly going back and maybe we will make the special dinner some day…

Hotel Playa Coco: Resort Review

Grounds were kept very clean. Lots for kids to do. Food was good…it’s Cuba however always found something to eat. We were in Block 5 we had no warm water the entire week. Rooms were clean. No-See-Ums were very bad needed bug spray and that didn’t help. Need to take Benadryl and stuff for after bite.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Great Vacation

The hotel was great, staff were friendly and always made us feel welcomed. The food was good, there were 2 snack bars to chose from and we knew that the food could be repetitive at the buffet so we used these to change things up. The beach is amazing, it is a bit of a climb to and from but there is a walkway without stairs, just a bit more of a walk. Club Tropical: Affordable and amazing resort!

For the rating what was given, this hotel is at the best standing , the beach is safe and meet the safety standards, but blue sunbeds need to be replaced or fixed and cleaned. The area is compact ,the swimming pool and beach are at a few steps from hotel. The staff is neat, friendly and professional. The food is good, the entertainment is amazing. I love the time spent there.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Fabulous Resort

I have stayed at this resort many times. They are amazing people and always go out of their way to help you with anything. The food is amazing at this resort. There are times when there are shortages such as butter and eggs but this is out of their control. The grounds keepers do a great job and the gardens are beautiful. The pool and pool bar are great and Leo and Maurice are great bartenders. As for the snack bar it’s great and they make wonderful pizzas. Melia Costa Rey: Amazing resort

This is a great resort. Very impressed. It’s super close to the airport. It’s a large resort but not crowded. Guests were families, couples, older, younger. Fun but nothing crazy. The beach is beautiful and big, lots of chairs, sun or shade available. We walked the beach everyday multiple times per day. The sand is perfect, the ocean water looks like a huge pool. Also, people should clean up after themselves, and not leave cups and plates on the beach. It’s disrespectful, I guess only lazy slobs do that. Maybe resorts should stop using plastic cups, people can bring their own travel mugs. The food was delicious, lots of variety, fresh fish, salads—cooked and raw. Breakfast omelettes, smoothies. Lunch, dinner — delicious!! Entertainment was good too. No issues with shortages in regards to alcohol or mixers. They always had gin and tonic! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and practical. No issues. The only minor issue was… I wish the sheets/pillowcases felt/smelled fresher. The staff are wonderful, especially Dannier, Migray (hilarious, we had such fun with her), and Nano at the snack bar. We will definitely return to this resort!!

Playa Pesquero: Everything was fine - dont listen to panicked people

Everything about the hotel was fine; great beach, we did snorkeling, swimming, aqua-gym. The buffet was fine too comparable to a 4 star in Cuba in the previous year. There was not a very great choice of food, but we always managed, as a family of 4, to get good meals. The restaurants were fine, especially the Italian one, with a great tomato soup and beef. We did not have access to sea food however, except white fish. We did a lot of swimming and playing in the pool. We didnt go much out late at night but there wasnt much animation (that I was aware of), rather low but good animation (man at piano, singer, small band). Lot of family with kids, older persons 55+. There was animation at one side of the great long pool, but if you go to the other side it was most peacefull. We enjoyed the coffee wagon at the lobby.

Melia Las Antillas: Dated resort

This hotel needs some upgrade elevators not working and washrooms at pool and lobby inop needs attention. Food good but was cold on buffett . Worker very happy and pleasant . Hotel 28 years old needs updated

Playa Costa Verde: Good Budget Resort!

For context: My Mom and I travelled to PCV (Jan. 14-21) as a trip to celebrate her recent 70th birthday and my 40th birthday. This was her 4th visit to PCV in 2 years and my first. I last travelled to Cuba in 2011, but go to Mexico every year with a close friend group and our families. I knew the amenities, food, etc. here in Cuba would be different. Having realistic expectations is #1 when travelling to Cuba. We paid $1000 each. When you consider how much the airline takes + taxes and tra [... read more]nsportation, very little is left for the resort, and I think people forget to consider that. Beach: Gorgeous! Crystal clear water and very little seaweed, but it is the ocean after all so there is some. Lots of great snorkeling and a few different options for sailing and pedal boats. It was difficult to find loungers if you went after 10am. The beach is a bit of a walk from the resort and there are no washroom facilities. There is a bar but no food options, so keep that in mind. Pool: Very large, clean and lots of room to float around. There were a few recreation team activities during the day, but at least during our time, had very little participation. The swim up bar is good but the slush machine was out of order. Bring a reusable cup to void using paper cups. Grounds: Generally nice, but a lot of areas had large sections of tall grass that hadn’t been mowed. This didn’t affect our trip in anyway, but did give an overall “run down look” - as did multiple abandoned buildings. Rooms: We requested a room on the 2nd floor but couldn’t be accommodated. We arrived at 10pm and were taken to a first floor room in building # 25. It was dark, musty and sparks flew from the lightbulb in the lamp when I went to turn it on. There was also no patio furniture on the patio. The fridge did not work and was leaking water all over the floor. The next day, we were moved to a 2nd floor room in building 11 that was 1000 times better. Bright, clean and more updated. We had plenty of towels but the sheets were not changed. We didn’t ask for them to be, but just something to note. A handful of times the water pressure was off for flushing the toilet, but fixed within an hour. We had a few power outages that only lasted 5-10 seconds for less than 10 minutes. Staff: 98% of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a few issues with management/guest relations but overall the Cuban people are so lovely and appreciative. Food: This is SUCH a heated and much-divided area, but in my opinion, the food was slightly less than typical “Cuba”. The buffet was very repetitive and lacking. The only fruit we saw all week was pineapple and there was melon one day. The only veg were cucumbers and tomatoes. Plenty of pasta, rice, seafood and usually a chicken option as well. They didn’t always have butter, ketchup or salt and pepper, but we brought our own + peanut butter. The snack bar was our favourite. The chicken salad sandwich was great! The service can be VERY slow there, but I wasn’t in a rush to be anywhere! They did run out of fries one day, but restocked quickly. Pizza was good! We didn’t realize until the last day they offer breakfast as well. It looked good! They seemed to always have ketchup and mustard too at the snack bar. We didn’t try the al la cartes. In my experience, it’s usually but same as the buffets but I could be wrong. Overall, we had a great week for what we were looking for. For the price, the weather and the relaxation, it was perfect! I personally would return for the same price, but not more. I do prefer to be somewhere like Varadero where there is more to do and see off the resort, but that’s just a personal preference.
