Riu Palace Macao: Terrific resort

Very clean inside, well maintained grounds outside, pools and beach area. Dining service can be improved. Servers should be thought that their first and foremost job is to serve the guests. Tips would come as a bonus not as an expectation first. Same as house cleaning. I generously tipped everyone, especially housekeeping because they work very hard. Riu Republica: Beautiful resort

Our stay at Riu republica was nothing short of amazing. It far exceeded out expectations. Food was amazing, the beach was clean, could always find a chair. So many pools, it was clean! The service was fabulous, we didn’t wait for any meal service and never more than a few minutes for drinks. The entertainment staff really did a great job at getting people to have fun, but were not pushy for those who just wanted to observe. The buffet always has a great variety to choose from though! I would recommend this resort to anyone young or old. You will not be disappointed!

Riu Republica: Unreal resort

This resort is truly awesome in so many ways. It is very large with lots of room for everything to help with overcrowding and offers something for everyone The food was top notch especially the main buffet and the Italian specialty restaurant. The beach was big and beautiful and there is plenty of pools for everyone to enjoy depending on your mood. Shows were great and there’s lots of great things to do. Riu Palace Punta Cana: our hello and thanks for all of your employers.

hotel well organized clean and beautiful . suite cleaner were very polite and did a good job. dinning was a nice and good . employers who are serving in dinning area .after serving they gather at one place and making fun of each others and speaking loudly. while dinning room should be a little quite but they did a excellent serve .

Riu Republica: Breath taking vacation

The resort was a 10 out of 10, the saff was very friendly and always busy cleaning , serving etc. The food was amazing in all resteraunts including the buffet. The beach was clean and not alot of pressure type sellers. Only minor complaint was the hard beds. Other than that the Riu Republicia was a great place and would go back. Thank you

Riu Emerald Bay: resort too big.. elevators not enough. wait for half an hour.

resort is too big and not managed well. needs more elevators. beds need to be thrown away and get new ones. cappacino in packages, with sugar. I don't take sugar. sportbar coffee too strong. never thrown out. been sitting there for hours.

Riu Republica: Good stay, not amazing

This is a beautiful resort, lovely grounds with many pool areas to suit your style. The beach is perfect with no rocks or seaweed to be seen, and you can walk for miles. The beach is hidden from the pool areas due to a high hill separating the two. The food was decent in the main buffet. Lots of options here and great service. We tried the steak house and had food that was either undercooked, or so overcooked that we could have started a hockey game with it. Beef tasted delicious but I was violently ill about half an hour after. Entertainment was hot/cold. The neon party was out of this world. Top level entertainment, better than any stay I have had elsewhere. I didn't bus over to the other resort for the pink party, so can't comment on that. I found the staff would come out and dance around the pool and talk about the entertainment, but never did zumba or salsa by the pool. We checked the schedule and it said it was on the beach the next day, but spent the day at the beach and no activities happened there. Our room was lovely. We had paid for a triple room, but somehow they had booked us in a standard room for 3 people, even though we paid more for a triple. We ended up upgrading to a family suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a shared patio and hallway area. Very nice room and ours was in a quiet area. (room 0178). Overall a very nice place. Alcohol is not top notch, but still a decent drink to be found everywhere. Swim up bar can get a little crazy when they start sliding people down the counter-tops, but there are many other pools close by if you don't enjoy that scene.

Riu Palace Aruba: Great resort

Resort is located on a nice area of the beach. Small resort therefore everything is well located. Room were consistently clean very friendly staff. We will go back. Breakfast was good. Lunch on the beach restaurant had decent options

Riu Negril: Great place

Food was good.....place was big the only thing that bugged me was the access card would not work at times but the place was great...........................................I gave the correct stars for the place

Riu Republica: Okay

Hotel was clean, food was good. Rooms were ok, half our outlets didn’t work beds were extremely uncomfortable and rooms were very loud in the morning with doors constantly slamming, balcony was Ontop of generators so very loud on balcony parties were fun service was good

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great resort

Great newer hotel, good selection of restaurants. Great pools. Swim up room is more of a mini private pool . Only down side is distance to excursions, about an hr from Cancun and 2.5 to 3hrs total to atv ziplines and ruins.

Riu Reggae: Loved Riu Reggae!!

Riu Reggae is a fabulous hotel, and as an adults only facility, it’s a perfect place for a couples escape. The 3 Riu properties all together make for a great place to take long beach walks. The staff are friendly and helpful. Loved our partial ocean view room. It had lots of space, and a big shower stall. The balcony overlooked all the action. The pools are fabulous, and so is the beach. The food was excellent, except for the “Steakhouse”. Jamaicans have a lot to learn about what a go [... read more]od steak looks like and how it’s cooked. The drink menu is extensive, and the rum selection is vast. The entertainment at night is great. The only annoyance I can recall is that the dining room staff are too fast cleaning up tables. A second trip to the Buffett will generally find you coming back to an empty table. Some people might be put off by the occasional airplane flying over, as the resort is just off the end of the main runway of Sangster Airport, but in all honesty, you really don’t notice them; the disruptions are very brief. The Sunwing rep was onsite every day and looked after all our excursion and sightseeing requests. In short, we had a FANTASTIC time! The weather was perfect. Would definitely recommend Riu Reggae to anyone. Thanks Jean for helping us pick the perfect sun spot getaway destination. Will be in touch for our next adventure.

Riu Republica: Fantastic Resort!

The Riu República was a fantastic Resort! The whole team put a lot of work into making it the best possible stay and brought a lot of energy to the events! Also the gardens were trimmed and kept in fantastic shape!

Riu Republica: Resort is big and beautiful

We had a very nice tim here !! For the food was full and lots to eat for all , every meal was done so very nice , the ala-carts being open to when you wanted to go with out booking , was a big help too. Riu Cancun: Really great experience, first class treatment!

This hotel was splendid, with one of the best service staff and amazing restaurants throughout the resort. The guests were all very friendly and social, and the bars are designed to keep the party going and keep the resort lively! I can't wait to go back to Riu Cancun again!!

Riu Cancun: Amazing time and amazing resort!

The resort was incredible and the booking with Nephilene was so easy and she was helpful all the way leading up to our trip. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful new resort; not too large. Rooms were nice and clean and only a few min walk to pool/restaurants. Only complaint is that the bath tub is right beside the bed and shower area open to the room (not the best when sharing a room for privacy). Some rooms have pull out couch which was great for kids not having to share beds. The "Double" beds are not true double (seemed smaller) but is big enough for kids or 1 adult to sleep comfortably. Italian was good, Fusion was the best! Did not try Japanese or steakhouse. Enjoyed having the lunch bar near the pool, if you did not want the buffet you did not need to go far for delicious food (my Husband said the burgers were the best he has had in a long time) and the Guacamole was amazing!!! Pool bar service was amazing! Server was checking on you frequently and very friendly Multiple pools was wonderful and having 2 swim up bars was nice. There is a separate activity pool so if you wanted to participate you would and if you wanted to relax or stay at the bar you were not disturbed by the pool activities/parties. Foam party is a must attend! Waterslide park is only a few steps away and greatly enjoyed by all in our group (young and old) Beach was beautiful and loved how some sections offered shade for the kids to play and you should still be in the sun if you wanted only a few feet away.

Riu Palace Antillas: Awesome resort

Great place to enjoy excellent varieties of food and beverages. The grounds were immaculately kept as were the accommodations . A place to relax or if inclined, there are numerous activities for everyone to choose. The beach is outstanding. Definitely looking forward to returning.

Riu Palace Aruba: This place is fantastic

This is by far the nicest place I have ever been the hotel is beautiful the people are great meaning the staff food is fabulous and the pool and water at the beach are breathtaking Our room was beautiful and clean and comfortable dont have a bad thing to say it was just fantastic and will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone thinking of travelling to Aruba

Riu Palace Antillas: Best Holiday Ever

Two items stand out in making our recent holiday the best ever. Firstly the food was incredible and far better than any other 5 star inclusive we have stayed at in Costa Rica, Jamaica and the Domincan Republic. too many great dishes to individually rave about but the beef from Argentina makes Alberta beef a far 2nd in taste and tenderness. You could run out into the water without the fear of landing on stone and the medium sized waves were fun when using the resort supplied flotation mats. Another great aspect of the beach was the that the south section had calm waters, while the north section had the rolling waves. The water was very warm but also refreshing. My wife and I literally walked for miles during our stay. The hotel was clean and we had no complaints. Elevators were fast, Staff really friendly. Entertainment was average for an all inclusive resort. Our room was clean, though the bathroom could use refreshing down the road. The resort is slowly refreshing rooms, which are upgrades noted as "Superior" when you book your trip. Our next vacation will be back to this resort, hopefully in March. We'd like to stay for at least 10 days. Oh how great it would be to retire in Aruba!!!
