Riu Negril: This Resort is amazing - we will be back!!!!

My husband and I went to this resort for our 6 year wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did. It was amazing!!! Our travel agent recommend this resort and she picked the most perfect resort for us. The food was soooo good - I think I gained weight on vacation. We tried the Asian restaurant and the steakhouse ( I had a rib eye steak in Jamaica - yum). The buffet has so much food and all of it was so good too so we liked going there more. We ate lot [... read more]s of Jamaican patties ( beef, curry chicken and vegetable ones) We liked that the resort was smaller and everything was right on the ocean and close to each other. OMG the beach - WOW- the resort was in a bay so the water for the most part was very calm - you could walk around in water and bottom. We saw a large star fish, crabs, sting ray. So cool !! Plus every once in a while you have a local come and sing some Jamaican tunes with their guitar - not loud - but lovely to listen to while relaxing on the beach. People were singing along and dancing. The atmosphere is so great. They have the "fun" team who will keep you entertained all week. you can join on activities or you can watch - activities were on the beach and at pool. The beach party Monday night was so fun!!! Local Reggae music mixed with top hits made everyone have a great time - bar down there on beach too made it so easy to have a blast. THE PEOPLE - they are what made this resort and Jamaica so amazing for us. They are so friendly. Laugh with you - joke around - sing - they truly care that you are having a good time. A few people that stuck out to us was Claudia in the sports bar, Lamar the taxi driver, and Famous the entertainer. Thanks RIU Negril for an amazing vacation - we will be back to see you all soon. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Clean friendly and welcoming

Was spotless always asking if we needed anything. Always making sure staff was ready to serve you and always with a smile.the rooms are amazing, pools clean,drinks great.turn down service was a special treat at the end of the day.spa treatments where great and again clean .the food was never a let down.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: awesome resort

The grounds are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful The food is good. The 3 a la carte restaurants were a wonderful experience, the food was good and the service excellent. This was our second time at that resort and I would go back again

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort!

Resort is amazing, clean and spacious rooms, beautiful grounds. Cannot fault the food or drinks, friendly staff for the most. We were booked on the Grand side Golden club but were informed that due to a 'promotion' that we had been upgraded to luxury. We were not given a choice and felt a little upset due to already paying for an ocean view with privaliges . We did not have a fast check in as promised due to the changes and were shown to a 'garden view' room with a construction site and highway  [... read more]for our view. Needless to say we asked to be given a different room. We were accommodated and was given a second floor room with ocean /sea view. Everything after the initial mishap was pretty near perfect and we enjoyed the rest of our vacation immensely. We would recommend this resort and do plan to return in the future.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Beautiful property...poor service

The beach is incredible. Clear blue water with a reef close by so you see a ton of colourful fish just standing in the water. The service is very slow. Sometimes it was taking 1+ hour for the food to arrive. They also ran out of key menu items much too often.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing

Public areas was clean Food at the restaurant was available at all times, and was enjoyable The staff was very friendly and helpful The beach nice The pool nice The jerk center was amazing The nightly shows was very entertaining Listen just go and everything will be irie😊

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great family resort!

Nice staff, great facilities, delicious food. We had an awesome time! Room was clean and stocked. The highlight was definitely the Spa. Staff was friendly and professional, and we left feeling very relaxed and happy.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Unbelievable Resort!

This was mine and my husband’s first time at an all inclusive and I have to say it was amazing. The food was terrific, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so nice. We will definitely be going back.

Catalonia Montego Bay: First time to Jamaica

Family of 4, kids are 15 and 17. Rooms: we were upgraded on arrival to a suite. Meaning there was a very worn pull out couch in the room. Building1, close to everything, beautiful view of ocean. We were on the back of the building so no noise complaints. Room 1409. Only real downfall was that the mini fridge had nothing in it,not even water! The bathroom was very dated and small but we didn’t go To Jamaica to spend a week in the bathroom :) Beach: small but cozy. Hard to find a  [... read more]chair most days unless you were there by 7:30am. Usually by 8:00 the chairs were gone. I recommend taking your own towel and a large clothespin to reserve your chair. The island was the trademark beauty of this resort. Make sure you bring snorkel gear to look at all the beautiful fish. Going a little further out from the island, there is a coral reef, make sure you go! Beach is clean and beautiful. Bars: always a line up and usually only one person working there. Nobody enjoys standing on the hot stones waiting 20 minutes for a drink. Not many smiles from bartenders unless they see your tip. Buffet: limited choices compared to other resorts but we always found something delicious to eat. Same lineups at breakfast for omelets. Could use more than one person cooking. Resort: overall a 4/5. Semi clean hotel. Always piles of laundry in the hallways from housekeeping. Our housekeeper only showed up 5/7 days. Weather was beautiful. Rained a few short bursts, usually at night. The casino is a joke, just some video lotto machines. The gift shop is nice and prices are decent. Long waits at the snack hut for ice cream and nachos. Pool: only one pool for families. It’s nice but sometimes a little too crowded. We preferred the ocean. One small adult pool with swim up bar at far end of the resort. Not really worth the walk up there if you have kids. Positives: beautiful view. Palm trees, sunsets, teal ocean, scuba diving, food, comfy beds, weather. All perfect! Negatives: less than enthusiastic staff, outdated (less than clean) bathrooms, no stocked mini bar, only 1pool, lineups for drinks, Excursions: you can barter these too! We paid $55 per person for an $80 excursion. We did a river tubing trip down an old slave plantation (we recommend it) by Chukka tours. Also, a day trip through the city, slums, primary school, etc. Expensive but worth it! Jamaica in general has many pushy sales people. We felt harassed by vendors across the road from the resort. I would recommend taking the shuttle to rose hall shopping, it’s free and safe! Margaritaville has a free shuttle from the resort everyday. Be prepared to pay $15+ for each drink if you go. It’s just a bar with a water slide and some water inflatables in the ocean. I would pass on this trip in the future. I would visit this resort again, but only at a much better price than we paid.

Sandals Dunn's River: Great trip!

We overall enjoyed our stay at Jewell's Dunn River. The food was amazinly delishes and they worked hard to prepare multiple outdoor supper venues throughout the week, all of which were very tasty. The drinks were very good. The grounds are well kept and great. Although small, the beach was good. The pools and hot tub was good too. We booked an oceanview and the first room they put us in was on the 2nd floor and overlooked all the piping and stuff from the other building. It was a terrible vi [... read more]ew and a garden view would have been much better. They did move us the next day and the next room had a great view. The staff were all hard working but lots were not overly friendly. (a couple were amazing tho) Where I found it lacked the most was entertainment at night.... the disco started at 11 pm, which, after a day of drinks and sun was too late for us. Most nights there was no entertainment around. When there was, it was in this room with a stage, and had like 20 people in there. Lots of the entertainment involved the crowd, which I didnt love. Some people got dragged to participate, just to be made fun of by the entertainment staff. Didnt care for it. Also, the bus ride from the airport to the resort took a whole 3 hours.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Great stay

Hotel was clean and well maintained. I really disliked how you don’t have a fridge nor free safe or wifi. But overall great stay staff very friendly. Really loves “Bar Bar” Alisha at the swim up bar she was amazing. The food was decent but wished they had more variations. Great place for a relaxed vacation and the shows were excellent.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful resort! Amazing staff!

This resort is great! The food is amazing. Highly recommend the jerk chicken on the beach. The pool bartenders are awesome. The entertainment staff are the BEST! Princess, Cinderalla and String Bean were my fave! Thanks for a great vacay!

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: We were happy.

Everything was perfect. They need to add mirror in the room+garbage can. Staff was great. Service was great. Cleanness was great. We stayed 1 week and we really enjoyed....................................

Riu Palace Jamaica: excellent resort

Riu Palace was very nice resort Everyone and everything was spectacular weather was great all week great selection of places to eat and staff was helpful courteous rooms were very clean overall a very pleasant holiday

Couples Negril: very nice resort

I liked the size of the resort (not too big). Everything was within an easy walk. I liked that it never felt crowded no matter where I went (eating, beach, pool, tennis, bar), which made for a very relaxing stay.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing is all I can say

This is my first time at this resort I thought everything was great. I had a oceanfront room my view was absolutely stunning the room was a little dated but that didn't matter to me. I thought the employees were great, the beach was good, my only complaint would be the buffet it just didn't have the food I was expecting it to have every other day they had "Jamaican food" ( I was hoping for it to be every day we are in Jamaica after all ) but they only had one or two things the rest was American [... read more] food. Other than that I had a great vacation I would definitely return to this hotel it's a little old but none of that matters when you hit the beach...

Riu Reggae: Amazing Resort

The Hotel is very clean, the grounds are very lovely, the rooms are nice and modern, the service is always there to help you, the food is excellent and the shows a great, I had a great time🌴The beach was clean!

Couples Swept Away: Great resort

Beautiful, very green resort. Nice, 6 room bungalows with more like executive rooms than suites. We first got a room on the ground floor that had no daylight and no sun at any time of the day. We were moved to the third floor corner room, and that would be the only room I would come back to. Food was amazing, we never went to reservation only restaurant, couldn't be bothered. Enjoyed Jamaican buffet and The Palms. Beach was good, quite a lot of natural shade, and few straw umbrellas, not enough  [... read more]if you come to the beach after 8 am. The water is a bit too shallow for my taste, you need to walk quite a lot to get to the depth for swimming. I liked that tips were included in the price. We didn't want to go to any excursions, even to the included ones. But, that was a nice option. Service was very good, everyone, from reception to restaurants was very pleasant and helpful.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful beaches

The food and amenities were great. Pools great. Lots of food options. Huge resort with beaches everywhere. Recommend the far beach for some wind and shade. Any beach is stunning. Book at the ala carte restaurants upon arrival. Get up early for pool chairs. Lobby bar is only open until 11 pm then you had to go to late night beach or market area... all a good walk. Be prepared to do some walking at this resort.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Fun Resort

Stayed April 7 to April 14, 2019. Very nice resort, rooms were nice, staff very entertaining, close to Hip Strip. The beach small but lovely. Pool was beautiful. Snoop at the pool bar was a hit! Only problem was leaving! :)
