Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing experience and resort!

We absolutely loved this resort! The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean, the set up of the resort was easy to navigate and there was so much to experience! The resort was beautiful but overall the pool and entertainment staff were our favourite parts. They kept us feeling welcomed, engaged and we loved the experiences in the pool all day! Highly recommend this resort.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Customer service is #1

My husband and I, as well as two other couples visited the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo from May 5-12. We have travelled to a good number of resorts in the last few years and were impressed by the level of customer service at the Lindo. The resort is beautiful and staff were always working hard to keep it that way. The rooms are lovely, grounds are immaculate and food was great. This is one of 5 resorts in the Iberostar complex, which as a whole was huge but each resort was nicely laid out. There are [... read more] lots of dining options. Our favourite was the beach shack. They have a very well staffed bar there and a snack shack that offers fresh burgers, hotdogs,french fries and nachos, as well as individually wrapped sandwiches, salads and fresh fruit. The only negative thing was the large amounts of seaweed in the water. This is something the resort has no control over but they worked endlessly to try to remove it from the beach. Lastly, a huge shout out to the concierges who are present in each building and work tirelessly to keep their customers happy. We would definitely return to this resort but would probably try to travel at a time when the seaweed was not present.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Just what we needed

Hotel was just what we were looking for. Great beach, amazing water and even better hosts. Staff at the hotel were great and lots of fun. Most of the appreciation goes out to the entertainment team who always had something going on!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing beaches!

We are repeat guests at Ensenachos. This hotel is located on its’ own Cayo and does not share its’ beaches with any other hotel. It has two beaches, both at least a kilometre long. We continue to return here because of this and the wonderful staff. A great place to just relax and unwind for a week.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Top of the class resort

We spent 11 amazing days at Iberostar Quetzal in Playa del Carmen and it was absolutely fantastic! People did their best to accommodate us. Front desk team is very professional and did a wonderful job to make our stay memorable. Thumbs up to Francesco for being so efficient! The waiters were all so courteous and polite. We never had to fetch for our drinks, restaurant / beach / pool.... Especially loved the Italian a la carte resto, wood oven, fresh pizza and home made pastas. Attentive service from all and especially from our server Nathaniel! He was so nice, made our dinning experience Top of the class! The Méditerranéen restaurant had nice hors d’oeuvres and good selection of fish snd seafood. The natural exotic jungle forest was so wonderful, every day we would see beautiful peacocks, pink flamingos, toucans, monkeys tree hoping! Waterfalls everywhere, amateurs of nature will be amazed by it’s beauty! Pool is impeccable, as is the entire resort! Daily musical entertainment on both sides, Tucan & Quetzal, nightly shows are pretty good also! One of the perks! Foam party in the pool!!! If you are looking for a quality resort next to Playa del Carmen, this is one of the best! Been at Riu, very loud all day long, sometimes you like peace and quiet and Iberostar has the perfect balance of entertainment for all ages! They actually have staff walk around during the day to offer you fresh towels!!! Never have I seen such service and I have been to Riu’s, Paradisus, Melia’s, Palace many luxury resorts and this place is not as flashy or new as others but has much more to offer in terms of memorable experiences. Loved the wide, sandy beach, very well maintained considering the seaweed situation in the Caribbean. 5 star hotel Would love to go back and learn more about Iberostar memberships it was a great resort thanks to the great people that work there 😊

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Absolutely phenomenal vacation!

This was our second stay at Iberostar Varadero. It was exceptional! Staff is wonderful, very friendly, and extremely helpful. Our room was incredible, very close to everything. Our chambermaid was absolutely stellar, she took requests and made my kids swans (since she knew how much they loved birds). Even the gardener made my son a bird out of leaves. The pools were amazing, the beach exceptional. We've been to Cuba many times and this resort is by far our favourite. Additionally, my spouse and  [... read more]I are vegan/plant based and our children vegetarian and we were amazed by how much selection we had at every meal. I'm even allergic to wheat and I still never had the same meal twice. We frequented the buffet most, but only because my son loved the pizza (and even the chef would prepare a pizza for him and bring it to our table). We cannot speak highly enough about this resort. If you're looking for a great, family friendly, quiet and yet also spacious resort with lots to explore and a gorgeous beach to boot, this is the one! We also loved the resort cats, our vacation 'pets'. Fabrizio was very well fed during our stay and even followed us to our room every night. Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: 🔆LOVED THIS RESORT🔆

We have been to Varadero three times and this resort was by far our favourite! The room was really clean(thank youSonia) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The drinks were fantastic and, amazingly, we thought the food was pretty good too! We had a la cartes 2 different nights and they were both delicious! Overall we were really impressed and would definitely come back!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Awesome time at the send resort during our 2 weeks stay

We stayed at the Daiquiri from May 3 - 10 due to not being pleased with the services at this resort, they had no beer in the mini fridge in our room, ran out of beer, mint for Mojitos and vodka at the lobby bar almost every evening, the lobby washrooms were disgusting, the smell from the men’s washroom lingered into the women’s and it was just disgusting, my husband told me that two of the stalls in the men’s washroom were out of order and the toilets were clogged up. Over all the food w [... read more]as good, a good selection, the snack bar which was in the Mexican restaurant made the best hamburgers, very tasty and well cooked. The beach was beautiful, a lot of shade and chairs any time of the day, we did not go in the pool, we come for the beach and ocean. My husband fished every morning on the piers located on the beach, he was in his glory and even was taken out on the Catamaran and got a “Red snapper” and other different kinds of fish. The staff are very attentive and courteous but the running out of boos and not having beer in the room made us request a transfer to the Mojito, we were staying in Cuba for two weeks and were not fully happy so the transfer was not a problem and the remainder of our vacation, the Mojito is a lesser and smaller resort but they had beer every other day in our room, no running out of boos for the length of our stay, the lobby washrooms were clean all of the time no matter what time it was and of course the beach and ocean is beautiful. The only thing with the location of Mojito is that there are a lot of mosquitoes due to the lagoon surrounding the resort but over all we were satisfied with the service and hospitality of both of these resorts but we would never return to the Daiquiri, this was our second time to the Mojito and would return again. The other thing was that there was no beach bar at the Daiquiri but one at the Mojito, for the price of the Mojito compared to the Daiquiri, it’s worth going back to the Mojito, you sure get your monies worth, not Daiquiri, a big disappointment.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Average

The overall aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful, including the pool and beach area. We were very unpleased with how the staff treated us for most of our stay. We found the maids and bartenders were the nicest, and the front desk, and waiters/waitress' were the most rude. It seemed that we would go into the buffet and have to go seat ourselves, get ourselves drinks and clear our own plates. We had a broken a/c the whole week we were there, they wouldn't accommodate us to a different room, the [... read more]y had mechanics come in, bang on the vent of the a/c said it worked and left. They were there for less then a minute, we continued to complain the whole week and had no luck. Overall the room was always clean, and the resort was beautiful.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Needs Attention to detail and updates

Adequate and fair value for the money we spent. The resort lacks attention to detail. Rooms were extremely musty and humid. Found a HUGE BUG beside the bed. Balcony chairs and beach chairs were horrible.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Place

The beach area was lovely, lots of room for shade. The food there was decent, but definitely was better than expected. The staff are extremely kind and friendly. The rooms were great too, and were very clean

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Magnificent Resort!!

This resort was everything I was expecting and more! The rooms were tidy and clean. The service was excellent, everyone was extremely nice and polite. The pool and area had lots of room. The beach was absolutely perfect. No hard rocks within the sand or water. The food was different but most was good, definitely cool to see and try what other people eat. The entertainment was the absolute BEST!!! I would definitely love to go again soon!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Another great stay.

This was our 4th stay at this resort enjoyed our stay as always. Great staff & food was also good. They changed our room by request from 3rd floor to first floor with pool view as I have bad knees. A shout out to the bar tenders & Robert in the dinning room.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Resort

Pros: Beautiful resort, good food, comfortable clean rooms, family friendly, friendly staff, lots to do. Cons: Seaweed on the beach, smoking allowed everywhere We went beginning of May to avoid spring break crowds and enjoy less rainy weather. Our weather was fantastic. Windy weather most of the time caused us to not be able to do much snorkeling like we hoped, but kept us cool when visiting chichen Itza and while walking around the resort. The nightly shows were pretty good and the wave pool and lazy river and volleyball poolswith the other pools were very enjoyable. We enjoyed the variety of restaurants and buffets. Loved that they had tacos and crepes at the mall and fast food bar at the beaches open all day. A bit of a drive for most excursions, but all doable. We saw Chichen Itza, visited an underground river cave and cenote and sailed to isla mujeras. The only downside was the beach. It was full of seaweed so we were not able to swim in it all week. We tried the last day when seaweed was minimal but it got tangled in our hair and was tough to clean out.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great week at the Iberostar Lindo

The Iberostar Lindo is the middle resort of five so it is a large complex with lots of walking from beach to lobby areas but not far too walk across resorts and there are lots of carts that will drive you back and forth. This was our second trip to an Iberostar and they did not disappoint with their customer service - they truly have this important aspect figured out! Other positive points include the beach bar and food stand right on the beach- they had the best burgers and fries and Johnny was a great bar tender as well as Julio. The Star Café made delicious cappuccinos and the food overall was very good. The main buffet was never crowded, the hostess was great and the breakfasts were amazing. We ate in the steakhouse twice, the Japanese and the Italian a la cartes. We were less impressed with the Brazilian restaurant that was at the Beach resort- that could be why, it was not the Lindo and we did notice a difference in quality of both food and drinks away from the Lindo. Humberto and Franco were part of the animation team that we met and the evening shows were quite entertaining. Our room was comfortable and clean, our housekeeper was efficient, creative and the fridge was always stocked. The Sports bar was a nice touch with lots of screens to watch hockey games and they had good wings. There is a shopping mall across the street but still on resort property that had lots of selection- we never left the resort. Although we didn't use it, the gym looked amazing and there was so much we could have done to keep busy. The grounds staff worked so hard even in the extreme heat. The only negative during our trip was the beach- there was so much seaweed. The resort did their best to keep it removed but this is something they cannot control- anything within their control was top notch, thankyou!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Spectacular resort!

The resort was amazing, very clean all the staff are very friendly and funny. Breakfast at the main buffet was delicious and the pasta they made in front of you for dinner was 10/10. If you visit this resort make sure to make reservations at the Japanese restaurant, best night of the whole trip!

Hotel Mojito: Mojito Memories!

Fabulous resort with gorgeous beach, lovely pool and grounds and very friendly staff. Stayed here twice now and will definitely be back! Rooms are very large and clean. Wonderful value for the money.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Iberostar Costa Dorada - Highly recommend

This resort is the perfect size. Blocks of rooms are on both sides and pool is in the middle. Had our pick of huts on the beach each day. Emailed the resort before we came to book our alacartes, and everything was carried out. Buffet restaurants & snack bars were great as well. Rooms were clean & comfortable.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Great experience!

Staff were amazing and friendly as could be, no complaints about the room at all, not 5-star but it was clean amd the bed was very comfortable. The quiet pool was just outside our patio door and we were out there pretty much every day, very nice pool. Great lobby, the servers were wonderful when bringing drinks, i need more cappucino! Food was excellent quality with great selection to choose from no matter what your tastes. Overall an awesome experience and we're going back to Azul again in D [... read more]ecember.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful resort, but could still use some improvements

The resort was great, very beautiful. However there were a few things i wasnt a fan of. When we first arrived we did not get a map or tour or any instructions. So we were starving and running all over the resort to try and find a restaurant that was open. An overview of how everything worked would have been much appreciated. The next day they had us come at 10am, for what i thought was an overview of the resort, but it was not. We waited almost an hour to speak with the lady, when we could have been sleeping or done on are own time. I also like to drink coffee on the beach. I couldn't take coffee out of the restaurant with their cups. There was a coffee shop 2 resorts over (15 min walk) which allowed me to take my coffee to go. However i would have appreciated the coffee more easily accessible. The rooms were great, no complaints. The pools were beautiful. Very well done. The beach... well wrong time of year to be rated. They did try very hard everyday to limit the seaweed. I never did any of the al'carts but the buffers were mediocre. The staff were all very friendly and ready to help. There was a few staff that were making passes at the women tourists though. Overall, the resort was okay. I would not go back myself though.
