Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Incredible Resort!

Grounds are in pristine condition, there are people cleaning constantly and the food was amazing (with the exception of the Japanese restaurant). Lots of swimming options for both adults and kids and lots of opportunity to take part in different activities! Overall, we were very happy with our destination decision!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Riu is the place to go!!

Hubby and I had a great time at the Riu! The service, the staff, everything was great! The performers at the nightly shows were very entertaining. My only complaint is I wish there was a package for 4 days instead of 4 nights! We are planning our next trip back!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great Family Resort

Everything was top notch - very clean, friendly staff - so many food choices at all meal times. Nightly shows were awesome. Foam pool party was a blast. Only negative think we found was that some of the services for the spa (hot tub etc) were only available at the Dunamar property. Also, not a lot of things to do for teens. Pool tables etc were again only at the Dunamar property. Only had a ping pong table at the Palace. Water park was so much fun too!

Riu Reggae: Awesome Resort!!

Beautiful scenery, rooms so clean and spectacular!! Food absolutely delicious! Staff so friendly and caring, and so much fun to be around. Overall a great resort and a great place to spend a vacation!! Ya man!!

Riu Republica: The resort was beautiful

Fantastic place we already decided to go back and have also recommend it to several people really liked it therefore I very pleased and I’m sure that many of my family and friends will be happy with it as well

Riu Montego Bay: Nice Resort

This hotel is very close to the airport. (5 mins away) planes pass by taking off roughly every 10 mins depending on the day. The people in the resort make the resort. The grounds are nice, the rooms are decent, never used the spa or gym so not sure how it is there. Everyone is just so polite and making sure your having a great time. The food was ok if I had to compare it to the other hotels that I've stayed. It wasn't full on Jamaican food. There was barely any beef patties. I used to see the [... read more]m in another resort everyday during lunch by the pool. (My cousin was looking forward to eating them). Jerk chicken by the pool was not bad. Jamaica is known for their fruit. Papaya I saw which I was happy. Didn't see any mangos, & coconut. They had pineapple but it didn't taste ripe, they were still hard. They had other Tropical fruit but not my cup of tea. The beach is small, thank god the pool is pretty big, & everyone went or there would be difficult to find a spot. Pool is very spacious & lots of chair for everyone. I was disappointed that we (riu Montego bay) weren't allowed to go across to Riu palace or Riu reggae but both those resorts were allowed to come to us. Not sure if I missed anything else. I would go back to Montego Bay but probably not to this resort. (This resort will be adults only after April)

Riu Playa Blanca: Overcrowded with locals on weekends and quality plummets

My wife and I just returned from our first time in Panama. We arrived on a Thursday and first impressions were great; close to airport, friendly greeting, nice room & view, overall clean and well maintained. Then Friday afternoon happened and the hotel was flooded with hundreds of locals and children looking to party hard for the weekend with low priced local rate for all you can drink and eat. We love to engage with locals when travelling but this was nothing like anything we've ever seen. It was like someone merged a Disney resort with a frat party... hundreds of loud, rude, obnoxious people who took over all areas of the resort except the beach area where you could find most of the travelers had retreated to. Couldn't get near bars, buffet was packed, pools were overcrowded, personal portable speakers blaring everywhere, and hundreds of unsupervised children running everywhere. Food quality went down, the place was filthy (excrement in elevators & urinals, vomit in sinks and corners, pools closed twice for excrement and actually looked 'yellow'). There even appeared to be extra security brought in for the weekend. By mid-day Monday, the crowds had disappeared and cleaning staff worked extra duty to return the resort to presentable again. The whole weekend was like a really bad dream but put a severe damper on the week and left us with a very bad impression of Panama and the RIU resort. Hard to rate the resort because it was like two different vacations... it was a 1 star on the weekends but a 4 star the rest of the time!

Riu Playa Blanca: Beautiful resort

The hotel is placed less than 10 from the airport and fast track check in so you can really starting enjoy your stay since you touchdown in Panama. Very clean place. Pools are very clean too. You can relax around the pools or near to the shore or you can enjoy family time as well. Food was more than enough, the only issue they got 80% the same menu for the entire week. Very friendly and helpful personal working over there

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Amazing Bucket List Vacation

It was our first time in Costa Rica (bucket list location) and we had been to the Riu Palace in Negril previously so felt safe choosing the same hotel chain for our trip to Costa Rica and we were not disappointed. The hotel itself is very well set out for everyone to enjoy the location (jungle, pools, beach (we got to see a whale and two leatherback turtles from shore), garden, etc). We did five excursions from the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed them all (Nicaraga, Blue River, Sloth Tour, Sweet Rainforest and Monteverde Cloud Forest). The weekends do get very busy as there seems to be a lot of guests that come just for the weekend getaway so things are louder and more line ups everywhere but nothing major and we arranged our tours for the Saturday :-) Would highly reccommend this hotel for your trip to Costa Rica

Riu Palace Aruba: This resort was perfect loved every thing about it

The room we had was spacious the grounds were always clean and the staff were great especially raul at the pool bar and Enrique at the dinner buffet were top notch.Food was abundant and very good great selection and the theme nights were good.

Riu Flamingos: A Mixed Review - But Do Bring Earplugs!

Pros: Room was a good size with high ceilings Plenty of drawer space Separate toilet and shower Great wifi in room and all over the property Nice view from balcony Bar in room with gin, tequila, rum and vodka and mixes - plenty of bottled water Clean room, fabulous housekeeping staff and towel animals! Pool was not the cleanest. Some children were permitted to handle buffet food with their hands Animation crew tried hard during the day, but evening entertainment was poorly programmed and executed The reason we would probably not return to this property is the number of guests on our floor who arrived as a group and chose to put their little ones to bed in the rooms and party in the corridors till 2 or 3 am most nights. It was loud and obnoxious. We did not want to deal with blowback from these guests by complaining, so our sleep and enjoyment of our room was poor. We were not the only guests in the hotel to experience this. The Riu Jalisco management should have Security walk the corridors throughout the night and stop guests from partying in the hallways.

Riu Guanacaste: It was a great stay!

The room was great and clean. The staff could have been more friendly. I find they only talk to Locals or people that are Spanish. The nightly entertainment could have been more better as well as the entertainment during the day. Not much was going on. The food was ok, I find they didn’t change the options much for lunch/dinner.

Riu Palace Aruba: An amazing family vacation!!!

This was our first time in Aruba but it came highly recommended by a family member. We travelled with our young kids, 7 & 8, and we all loved it and had an amazing experience!!!! The beach was like nothing I’ve ever seen before! The grounds were well kept and clean, the staff was friendly and the island itself was amazing!!! We are definitely looking forward to going back!!! Highly recommend!

Riu Palace Jamaica: Great resort!

The RIU Palace Jamaica was a great resort overall with fantastic staff, diverse dining options, access to RIU Reggae and Montego Bay facilities and restaurants, and great location from airport. There was a minor issue with our room the first night and after talking with our Sunwing rep we were upgraded from our room at no charge. All staff was friendly and attentive to our needs as guest. Would definitely consider this resort in the future.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort!

Everything was lovely, from the check in time, to the friendliness of staff to the cleanliness of the room. The food at the Buffet was awesome, with many options and great variations. The grounds are well maintained and everything was really nice and clean. The rooms were really spacious, with a lovely balcony (with partial ocean view), and a stacked fridge (way more than what we needed). The beach was amazing, with warm, white sand and azure water. During the time we were there (Oct. 2019) it was not too busy, so that was absolutely amazing. We were able to find plenty of spots at the beach in the morning and at the pool in the afternoon. I would highly recommend the place, and i hope to return next year!

Riu Republica: Amazing Resort & Amazing Service!

My boyfriend and myself have been to this same resort twice already because we loved it so much!! We have never had a problem there as the service is always great, rooms are cleaned everyday, beach is amazing, and they have amazing food and entertainment there with the every night shows! Always something to do, water slides, ping pong, volley ball, you name it! Riu Republica has it all!!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Magic time

what a difference since we last visited this resort. really beautiful hotel. rooms nice and large and spotless. food good, drink large selection. pools good. staff great. only thing i didn't like was no reservations for dinner, had to line up every night or use the buffet.

Riu Reggae: Would not recommend

The restaurants weren’t spectacular, most of them were just buffets. The staff were great especially the bartenders. We found a burger in our freezer 2 days into the trip from the past guest. After leaving a dress hanging in the bathroom I found a bleach stain on it the next day. I wouldn’t recommend the resort

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Loved it !!!!

Amazing resort, clean and easy to find everything. Food was amazing, staff was amazing! I'd highly recommend the RIU. Weather was ok, but you should go beginning of November. Entertainment 5 stars. Monkeys are the best
