Good people, good service, everything just wonderful!!!!! The kids loved it also us adults. I would go there any time in heart beat! Good shows every night for kids and adults. You won't be disappointed!!!!! Cheers

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Beautiful resort

My boyfriend and I returned from Iberostar Ensenanchos on April 18 after being there for a week. Sunwing did a good job both ways and the resort is beautiful, very lush, well kept and the wildlife there is abundant (made for great photos!). Both beaches are top notch, the service was outstanding throughout the resort and our room (2610 Spa section) was clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was fairly typical for Cuba (good but not great) though to be fair we can only comment on the main bu [... read more]ffet as we opted to avoid anything that involved scheduling! (including the a la cartes). Be sure to partake in the lobby bar Pina Coladas and Cappuccinos! We enjoyed the spa pool at the end of long days at Megano beach (the closest beach to our room). The only downside of this resort for me was the snorkeling- it's my favorite thing to do on vacation and I've found the snorkeling better elsewhere (such as Holguin). As an English-speaking Canadian I felt like a minority at this resort- many of the tourists were European, many from France and even Russia, many were Spanish-speaking and there were many French Canadians (meanwhile my French spouse fit right in!). This is a resort that people tend to visit repeatedly and I can see why. I will also return at some point. Two thumbs up from me!

Valentin Perla Blanca: Excellent Vacation spot!!

My husband , daughter and soon to be son in law really enjoyed your resort!!! We thought the grounds and staff were on point!! We really enjoyed the A la carte restaurants but must admit the Spanish one was our favorite! Would recommend this resort

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Very Nice Resort

The hotel is beautiful, nice and clean, and well kept. The staff is very nice especially Roberto and Rafael in the East snack Bar, they are always there with a smile and quick to get you another drink :) Say hi to these amazing guys, they will def take good care of you. The pools and swim up bars are def a good place to relax and also party if your into a good party with the entertainment staff. The rooms are very modern with a nice bathroom with full rainfall shower. We had a minor issue with our door cards not working a few times throughout the week but that could happen anywhere so def not anyone’s fault and the front desk staff were quick and happy to help. Overall a very nice resort, this was our second time going and we will def be going back. Well done Ocean team!!!

Valentin Perla Blanca: Great beach...but not much else

This could be a good resort, but it’s understaffed, poorly maintained, poorly managed and suffers chronic shortages of basic food, drinks (including beer and wine), spoons!, towels, toilet paper and other items. Staff blamed US sanctions for these problems. We took the “privilege” package to have additional services, a better room etc. Nevertheless, we had to pay numerous tips to get these privileges. Not recommended.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Beach need improvement

I was in Iberostar Ensenachos from April 12-19, 2019. I’d say that my overall experience was a good one. My only suggestion would be to add more umbrellas to the Megano beach front area. I had to wake up at 5:30 am to reserve a seat under an umbrella. I even witnessed a few patrons fighting on the beach for the shade. This is unacceptable. But the other parts were good.

Melia Las Dunas: Amazing beach!

Hotel is great for families or adults only. Family side had lots of activities and 2 pools. Exactly what I would have wanted if I travelled with small children. The adult side was nice and quiet but not too mellow. It has 2 pools as well. Met and talked to a lot of great people. Had good evening entertainment we were never bored. Beach is absolutely beautiful. There are lifeguards and no charge sailboat rides and paddle boats which is also great for families. Service was great the Cuban people a [... read more]re lovely. Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Is not as good as it used to be

The beach is amazing, nice sand and clean water, but they do not have enough palapas, so you have to come very early in the morning like 6 am to book them. The room is also very nice, clean and spacious. The food was okay, not much variety. This hotel is officially 4.5 stars, but I would give not more then 3.5.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Amazing resort

This has been one of the best all-inclusive resorts we have ever stayed at! The food was delicious! We stayed in a gorgeous traditional style bungalow # 56 with generous comfy beds. No words can describe the beauty of the beach! !!!!!! Entertainment amazing! Some People Will Complain No Matter What but it was Excellent stay experience for price of 900

The resort and staff are wonderful. The people are very friendly and willing to help. The grounds are breath taking. Would highly recommend this resort for these reasons alone. The food was good not as good as previous years.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Beautiful beach, water and staff

First off, the drive from the airport is long. The beach and water are breathtaking..I’ve never seen such blue water. The staff are amazing, they can’t do enough for you. The resort...I would give it a 7/10. The rooms are ok...the beds are hard but comfortable, they don’t change the sheets. We did get clean bath towels everyday. We got water everyday, 1 beer and 1 coke. We only got 1 beach towel for the week but it dried overnight. The washroom was ok. We never ran out of hot water, [... read more] and the shower did have a rain shower which was nice and toilet worked. The room itself was ok...something was missing like needed a fresh coat of paint. Oh and we were on the 2nd floor, in the quiet area, 37 area, which I would recommend if you want a more quiet room and pool. Pool was amazing. The food...well personally I was expecting the worse...it was ok...don’t expect any vegetables like carrots, etc...it only had cold peas and corn. Apparently they only cook vegetables that I’ve never eaten before lol. The al la carte’s were ok, the staff made it special. There was no proper salad, it was basically only cabbage. So as for the vegetables and salad, I really missed that. We ran out of beer one day, ran out of white wine and bread but there is always other drinks to have. Now, would I go back, yes I would. The one thing that would stop me would be the travelling time to the resort. Other then that, it was a pretty good trip.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: The best week ever!

My family and i had an amazing week at Ocean Casa Del Mar in Cayo Santa Maria! The hotel was beautiful clean and close to the breathtaking Ocean! The staff were friendly and so helpful! My Family and well definatly return again !

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Great vacation

The Royalton in Cayo Santa Maria is a beautiful resort with the best staff we have ever dealt with.This is our 11th trip Cuba and the 2nd to the Royalton. We certainly will be back. The only negative would be the extended bus ride from Santa Clara.

Memories Paraiso: Not the best resort I ever went to in Cuba. I much prefered Cayo Coco...

The hotel and grounds are well maintained. The buffet is adequate, and sometimes pretty damn good when the hotel managers are on the premises. That being said, it is a long ride, almost two hours from the Santa-Clara Airport, being pick up 5 hours before flight time. The one thing that made our trip less enjoyable was the freakin mosquitoes. they call them ''no see em''. You do not see them, they are smaller than fruit flies, they sting you and three four minutes later you start itching like cra [... read more]sy. My first experience with them was when I was sitting at an outdoor terrace for about 5 minutes. Five minutes later I started to itch, I had over 50 bites all over my exposed feets. It was so bad that my feet swole up and I had to go to take a taxi to the Clinic (10 cpesos). I received an injection of benadril and cortizone. This little adventure ruined about three days of my trip. I think that it would have been nice to have a warning about this situation prior to departure. I would have bought some deep wood Off. There are three pools on the premises, none of which are deeper than 3 feet deep! my out of ground swimming pool is deeper...

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: ONE OF THE BEST ALL INCLUSIVE'S I'VE EXPERIENCED

This has been my second experience staying at Iberostar Ensenachos. Both visits were fantastic. The rooms, maid service were excellent. The grounds are magnificent and very well maintained and the gardeners are very friendly. The foyer and gathering area before dinner was lovely and relaxing, and always had great entertainment (music) before dinner. The food was good in the dining room and my favorite a la cartes were the Mediterranean, Asian and Cuban. On the down side, it was difficult to g [... read more]et fresh towels for the beach, and also beach lounges were claimed very early in the morning-not a problem for me, as I like the sun, but for those who seek some shade from umbrellas it would be a bit more difficult. All in all, though ,a wonderful stay and the staff are very friendly, willing to help and certainly cater to their guests. I certainly would consider a" return visit". My thanks to all!!!

Roc Lagunas del Mar: Terrible resort

This hotel is the worst place I've ever stayed at. Staff not friendly at all . Buffet is disgusting. No service at buffet rude people. Rooms weren't very nice. Lack of communication with any staff member don't understand any English

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful resort

The pools were beautiful & plentiful. They were kind of grimy some days & they were cleaning them during the day. The room was not good. Beds were uncomfortable, maid service was terrible. Most of the resort spoke the native language of Spanish, therefore it was hard to communicate with 1/2 of the staff, their English wasn’t great. Others were fabulous. The nightly entertainment was not the best. Only 2 nights it was actually enjoyable, other nights it was kid-focused. The food was... well Cuban food. same thing every day. The beach was incredible! Breath-taking. There were waiting staff coming by every now & again to see if you needed a beverage, This was very nice. There were plenty of lounge chairs, no matter the time of day. I also went during a non-peak time. Overall the resort was nice. The beach paid up for all the disappointment.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: You get what u pay for

Overall look of the resort was nice, buffet food was not good, Asian a la carte was awesome, drinks were alright for Cuba, they ran out of Cristal beer within 3-4 days of our stay, we were finally able change our beach towels the last day due to them never having clean towels, bedding wasn’t changed until the last day of our stay as well, entertainment staff and swimup bartenders were great, sometimes we got clean room towels, on the wknd when all the Cuban guests stayed they were constantly  [... read more]running out of plates and food in the buffet, beach was beautiful. Very far drive from the airport but beautiful scenery on the drive.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Great experience!

First off, anyone going to Cuba needs to have realistic expectations. Second, I had a great time at playa!! The resort was way above average for Cuba, the food was great if you went to the buffet within the first hour, the beach is unbelievable but if you want to get a spot out of the sun you have to get there early in the morning.
