Secrets The Vine Cancun: Absolutely perfect!!!

Secrets on the vine was the best resort to escape and find yourself at the same time. Perfect everything!!! You have to go to the spa. The deep tissue massage was the best I have ever had. I had to book another before I left ! It was that awesome.

the grounds, beach, pools and public areas are really nice. the entertainment is great staff overall are very good the negatives the food is only okay there is not enough restaurants to service this large hotel, we waited sometimes over and hour and a half to get in for dinner this is a tiered hotel be aware, check out what comes with your tier otherwise you are charged for a safe in your room, $6.00 a day and internet $40.00 for 5 days and excluded from some of the restaurants and bars  [... read more] the rooms are very tired, basic and in real need of update there is not enough activities, the #1 activity is power drinking this hotel is advertised as party central, geared to students on reading and spring break

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Amazing Resort

This is my third stay at this resort. It does not disappoint and I can’t wait to go back next year. The resort is kept clean and beautiful. The food is fresh, plentiful and a great selection. They have lots of activities to join - yoga, biking, archery, cooking classes. Spa has a wide selection of services and specialize in a unique Hydro Therapy treatment that stimulates your senses from head to toe. The staff are friendly, attentive and pay attention to detail.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Fun but not great

The food was not great. The only restaurant we enjoyed was Dos Lunas. We had to wait every night as they do not take reservations before. The pool bar was always busy, and smelt like pee, and was always hard to get a drink. The resort was gorgeous, the staff were okay. No consistency between places, one day something was open the next day it was not. I did enjoy my trip, but found I did not get my moneys worth. Grand Oasis Sens: Okay

Nice enough hotel. Set aside at least 2 hours every morning to book dinner reservations for next day! Good entertainment shows. For some reason getting drinking water way harder than getting alcohol. Strong winds every day. Never allowed to dip a toe in the ocean.

First impressions the hotel is older with some renos done, the rooms need upgrading and the water pipes need major work as we had no water in our rooms for 3 days during the day . Trying to get a bottle of water is like pulling teeth or a dinner reservation get there before the 8 am start time or you are SOL. I was in tears trying to get a dinner reservation for my husbands 50th BDay. Major issue our safe did not work the whole week thankfully we were with a group and we used theirs. They a [... read more]re seriously under staffed 1 girl serving coffee with a line up 20 deep or the lobby bar at night with only 1 bartender. Hard to give a rating for the service most wait staff tried very hard but run off their feet.

Live Aqua Cancun: Best Resort Ever!!

Live Aqua is a top notch Cancun Beach Resort. The layout is really amazing encompassing lush vegetation within several outdoor restaurants. The pools are very well maintained and vary in temperature. The infinity pool is such a treat to look out from it out to the beautiful blue waters of the Carribean Sea. This resort has a beautiful beach with attentive lifeguards. The food is excellent at all 7 restaurants and they over a large variety of fine dining from Italian to Thai to Mexucan and Canadian/American food. The rooms are well appointed. They are very comfortable with beautiful views. The quality of service from all staff is what makes Luve Aqua a step above all other resorts we have visited. The warmth and caring service make a huge impression on you which will want you to return again. Staff will do anything to accommodate your wishes and needs. If you ask for something, they will find it or do it for you. The staff are an exemplary example of well above average service and teamwork.

Riu Cancun: HOT SPOT

Hotel and location is excellent. Rooms were functional spectacular views crazy comfy beds. Only down fall NO Mimosa for breakfast:( Service was great! Great food! Drinks...don't remember haha Entertainment staff was fantastic! Beach was beautiful Beach walk to the light house is a must!

Very Good: Food was fresh and tasty. Value was good. Family Resort. Entertainment. Teen Room. Kids Club. Amenities. Wave Rider. Towel and sun lounger availability Average: The room cleaning service was good when they showed up. Pool side service was sporadic Not so Good: The beach had a lot of seaweed. Riu Caribe Cancun: nice resort

resort was nice and clean food was bland and drinks was watered down i guess that crowd control sunwing was 1 hour late leaving each way other then that it was good outside shops was nagging and taxi drivers rip you off

Grand Oasis Cancun: Hugely Disappointing

Very dated, very basic bare bones, hated the food, hated that basic services were few and far between, staff were decent, rooms were clean, but the plumbing left a lot to be desired, 2 elevators that hold a max of 6 people that might or might not work to move a huge amount of people from their rooms to the lobby is absolutely absurd. The tiered system with the wrist bands is pretty extreme, when you can’t go into a coffee shop for a cup of coffee, because your wrist band won’t allow you to, well, that’s just insane. Also the limitations on the restaurants is just not cool. Anywhere that was considered half decent to eat was off limits. I could continue, but it’s not favourable, so I’ll stop. Best place we found to eat was at the taco kiosk at the food court.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Beautiful resort

This hotel was stunning. The lobby, the restaurants, the rooms, the pools, everything was so nice. We really enjoyed the friendly staff, who were also quick to help or get you whatever you wanted. Nothing was a problem. The entertainment staff was a joy, especially Valeria. She went out of her way to deliver a fun Valentine's certificate and printed us a few photos that were taken of us on the beach. The food was also delicious with lots of variety. We ate in all the restaurants and can honest [... read more]ly say they were all fabulous. The only critic I would have is there should be a few more inclusive choices for red wine. The two offered as house wines were okay but I would have liked some variety without having to pay for an overpriced bottle of wine.

Emporio Cancun: Emporio Family Suites Cancun - wonderful holiday get-away!

The Emporio Family Suites in Cancun was very clean, grounds well maintained, meals delicious and well prepared, staff very friendly. We asked to be moved from our room as it was NOT what we asked for. Our departure with Sunwing Airlines was chaotic as boarding pass told us the gate to be at, then it was changed and no announcement of that change was made for all the passengers travelling home. We were delayed for one hour, with no explanation. I won't travel with Sunwing again.

Riu Dunamar: Words cannot do it justice.

From the time we walked in to the time we walked out we were treated like friends and greeted with warmness by all. The hotel was spotless. The food was too good. The water park was a lot of fun and never busy so line ups were non-existent. The pools were beautiful and they ranged from party pools to relaxing pools. The beach was amazing and we spent most of our time there. Our room was spacious and our partial oceanview was breathtaking. Our beach waiter Augusto was so nice and made our stay ev [... read more]en more fun. Our waiters were always amazing and a special shout out to Arcadio at the steakhouse restaurant. The night entertainment was fun and the staff were tirelessly energetic and a lot of fun. I have recommended this resort to everyone and we are already planning our return.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Spectacular Property

We travelled to this resort in mid February and I can honestly say everything was amazing. From the staff being friendly and helpful, to great food all around to satisfy everyone's tastes to the clean resort that has people working on the cleanliness all day and I can't say enough about the entire hard working staff from when you first get there to the cleaning & service staff right to the entertainment staff to keep the guest entertained during the days and night.

Beloved Playa Mujeres by Excellence: Great Holiday

Nice sized resort, beautiful grounds, nice beach and rooms. Incredible service by all staff. Food was good. Would highly recommended this resort for anyone who wants a small quiet resort. Pools are heated.

Grand Oasis Sens: Not what I was expecting.

The hotel was old and dated. Our room was horrible.. hairs on the pillows, terrible water pressure and was mainly cold. The pool area there was insane and not in a good way. We stuck to the beach.. that was the only good part. We paid way too much for this resort and we didn’t even get the top package.. couldn’t even go to all the restaurants and bars because of our wrist bands which was ridiculous. We talked to other couples that paid less than us and they had the upgraded room. Would not  [... read more]go back. The staff said they were going to do something special for my fiancé and I since we just got engaged and they did nothing.. so that was stupid. We had to basically hide bottles of water in our room because it was impossible to get bottled water.. they always tried to serve us tap water. I was sick from the food 4 out of the 7 days. The excursions we went on were amazing but pricey. Would recommend the catamaran but not the Tulum tour.. sounds like the Coba tour was way better. It was nice to get off the resort since we hated being in our room because of how gross it was.

Smart Cancun By Oasis: Best part of Mexico!

Food was amazing... as was the beach nearby... Tulum is my favourite part of Mexico I have travelled thus far. Lots of ruins, lagoons and cenotes around. If you are looking for a relaxing resort, this is the place!

Sandos Cancun: Excellent resort

The resort was very clean and staff were very helpful. The service was excellent, food choices were limited buy very good. We always found something we liked.very important to us is a clean room and bathroom with lots of hot water and clean towels and face clothes. This resort had this without a doubt.The beach was very nice but the water was a bit rough. We liked that everything was close and you didnt have to walk far for anything.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: The shine is somewhat off our favourite Secrets

This hotel is still our favourite Secrets, but it was a little disappointing this time for two reasons. We stayed from Feb 10th to 17th celebrating my birthday and Valentine’s Day. The accommodations and food were excellent, but by the 14th dozens of 20 somethings from a company called Eight Eleven had descended wreaking havoc. They would have been much more comfortable at Breathless. We go to Secrets because it is an upscale adult venue and we always buy preferred. Secrets the Vine did not honour that commitment this time and made us leave the room at 1:00 even though our flight wasn’t until 8:25. Overall it was still an awesome holiday just a little disappointing due to these factors.
