Grand Oasis Palm: Great Resort - Overall good experience

Resort staff were great/helpful. Food was not the best I've had, but lots of choice made it easier. Location and rooms were great. five minute bus ride from heart of city and big spacious rooms. Beach was a tad crowded during the day and pool cold and shaded most days. Elevators and wifi were dreadful however. two tiny elevators for a big resort that were very slow. Overall, great experience

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Just loved the resort

Everything was first class the only problem was the late night snack bar and bar was usually under staffed for as busy as it was and the warm shots of tequila that came out of the kitchen. I really want to get back there for another vacation

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very Nice Resort & Enjoyable Stay

Overall the Resort was very well kept, rooms were clean, beds & pillows good. The staff was very friendly and work hard to keep all areas clean. The food at buffet was very good and had lots of variety. We did four al la carts and found that the "La Gran Tortuga" (Brasileno) one was extremely good, while the others only average. The bar staff was really great and not to long to get a drink, also liked the tequila sample bar. Beaches are nice, although a little rocky in some areas. Royal Solaris: horrible experience

This resort was quite simply the worst I have ever been at. Started out with they could not find our reservation so they put us in an inferior room to be upgraded the following day, next day we had to wait another day. We also met at least 20 people that had same experience. This inferior room even had black mould which they did not clean until next day. the people at front as well as most of the staff did not care or have any clue about customer service. The entertainment by hotel staff was ter [... read more]rible, very amateur. A couple of groups they brought in from outside were good. One day @2 p.m. a breaker tripped so the power was out in half the room, the front desk was notified and we went out for the day. On return, power was still out, fridge defrosted, called front desk and it took someone about two minutes to go reset breaker. The food with the exception of breakfast was horrible!!! Staff made promises they never kept. I could go on and on but definitely never, never stay in another royal solaris

Catalonia Yucatan: very good

This resort has very nice grounds and very nice staff. The food was great in any of the restaurants there. The animation team are second to none. The beer is carrona wich was nice. There is however two things that we did not like. First the beach is ok for beach chairs but do bring water shoes or do not go in the ocean because there is too many rocks. The second however is worst while i was sitting at the pool bar, I noticed that the bartender took a bottle of tequila that was half empty and fil [... read more]led it with tap water then continued to use that for the drinks. We usually drink beer but two days before my wife did drink a "Malibu" and the next two days were spent in our room because she had intestinal problems. This made her lose her fishing trip. I went fishing anyway . The bartender was very busy and maybe he ran out of tequila but there is no excuse for what he did.

Riu Santa Fe: Great place lots of fun

santa fe was great staff was very nice too all around great place last time we were there we stayed at the palace total different experience santa fe if you want to have party like fun and palace if you want a more catered to feeling less kids and food is better more variety that's what you pay for but both are great in there own way

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Amazing vacation

The Iberostar hotel and the staff that work there were amazing. They went out of their way to please you. The service, food, entertainment, spa and the beach were wonderful. We will definitely return again.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Nice resort

Nice grounds, nice beach, good food, good service a bit far drive from Cancun airport but it's worth it large selection of a la carte restaurants, no limit for that, no hassle with beach towels and towel cards, plenty of seats available on the beach.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Awesome resort

Clean, well maintained. Excellent, friendly service. Delicious, with lots of choices from buffet. Disappointed in the a la cartes except La Gran Tortuga which was very delicious. Will definitely return and would recommend this resort to family.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Modern Resort

Hotel was new and clean, but lacked that Mexican feel. Rooms were clean and well appointed, but missing some small touches i.e. soap dishes in the shower, 2 luggage racks would have been handy as well, comfortable furniture for sitting on the balcony - furniture design was too focused on look and not on comfort. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent - when you asked for something you got it. Great evening entertainment and nice relaxing atmosphere for adults looking to get away from it all. Not a family resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: o.k. resort for the money

The resort is massive in size. The food is great. The drinks are also good. The staff is very professional and hard-working. The beach is smelly and full of seaweed-big disappointment. There were limited areas that were air-conditioned. Not much to do at night-there needs to be more entertainment in the evenings-and it needs to be advertised in a better way.

Grand Sunset Princess: Best Experience EVER!!

It was my first trip south and i would go back in a heartbeat. Beautiful resort, extremely well maintained. Nice, big rooms, great buffets and a la carte. The chill out lounge was amazing. The ambiance was fantastic, the multiple pools gave you different areas to hang out, the disco was lots of fun and the staff were very polite and friendly. Playa Mazatlan: Never Again!!

bad food, no air conditioning, no refrigerator, useless desk staff, I could go on and on but..... why bother. No map of the place to find things. In room information non existent. disco right under my beach front room.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Great Resort

We really enjoyed the Grand Iberostar Paraiso. The food, location, staff and shows were all excellent. Victor in the Italian Restaurant was very understanding of my dietary needs and Michael was great at being interactive with everyone around the pool and at the lobby bar.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: very nice resort

Very large resort, if you like walking, it`s the place to go. Very very clean, the food excellent either at the buffet or a la carte, the lobby it`s the place too hang around after dinner, good music and confortable chairs. I prefer the pool over the beach (too much sea weed).

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Great, family friendly resort

A great resort. We stayed close to the beach, and thus everything was close-by. The food, service, and beach were all great. The rooms close to the beach need an update - they aren't great, but are fine. The resort has great amenities that are all very well executed (i.e. Cupcake cafe, crepe bar, smoothie bar). We travelled with a 10 month old, and found the staff very accommodating to our needs. The food was generally good, and they always had a Mexican option which was nice (at the buffet). Grand Oasis Cancun: Vaca is what you make it to be

Small room buy we re arranged it to make it look like us. Great variety of food. Extra cheap liquor but the sale it for so cheap all over cancun. Dont buy anything on the beach which is marvelous by the way. All around a great vacation. Everyone was extra nice and courteous.

Costa Club Punta Arena: Sometimes a deal really isn't a deal.

This is not a resort that I would stay at again. The service was not to greatest, the food was not the best (unless you like weiners). The towels and sheets in the rooms looked like they were years old and never seen a good cleaning. My room was on the ground floor and my patio door did not lock. It was walking distance to down town which was good because the resort really had nothing to do and the nightly entertainment was real bad when they had any. Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa was the best hotel we have ever been to. From the welcoming manager Xavier escorting To Registration with Daniel an inviting drink from Juan our personal butler. Escorted to our rooms by Miguel who shows you the fantastic view from our balcony and the spacious room. Sunset view every night. all rooms are ocean view. It is a Family place to gather. from the hump back whales to the dolphins and mantrays you can see jumping close to shore at times, Spectacular. Humberto is a fantastic server,Lunch can be at the Café the food and sandwiches along with the desserts are among the best I have ever had. The coffee there in the Café is superb. In the Mirador with is lunch with a fantastic selection of appetizers, main menu items, soups, fish and seafood selections are so available. You can go to Luciano's for the Italian food which is by reservation only. You feel you are in a high quality restaurant the waiters Sergio and Daniel and hostess Patsy are so inviting and create a ambiance of delightful music an fthe food is fantastic served so professionally and sophisticated staff who do a wonderful job. Get Sergio to make a Spanish Coffee the flame the whole bit. fantstico. After that go to the Bar and beautiful hardworking Sharon is there to give any drink you desire. Get down to 70's and 80's music by the group. who are fantastic to hear and to dance to. You can whoop it up. Barbecue by the ocean every second night and this is a beautiful view of the city of Puerto Vallarta. From Rosolito serving our food or Alexanjdro. Then there is one night of Mexican Texan combo night all served by waiters in country western attire. The western country dancers are so talented with the music it is so much, fun. The kids enjoy very much. Then there is the Mexican night where all kinds of food is served to you, The dancer or like the Flame Dancers very Azcted and Mayan. so talented . Sunset Plaza has an excellent location it is close to Starbucks, malls buses. tours. You will not regret coming to this hotel. The price is so economical for the quality of service that it provides. We are coming back next year and will get an Bedroom Suite this time.

El Dorado Royale: Resort that has it all!

Amazing resort with all the amenities and more. The staff are friendly, hard working, and will accommodate any requests made. Great resort to relax or have fun. The location is excellent as it situated between Cancun and Playa, and it is also a quick ride from the airport.
