Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Never disappointed

Many trips to this resort and hopefully many more to come. Great as usual and value for your $ is second to none. Great staff, good food, drinks and amenities. Having been many times and knowing many of the staff is a bonus. Always amazed how you can go up to one of them a year later and they remember some personal detail from the year or 2 before. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Excellent Place to Vacation

Everything at this resort was 5 stars! The people were pleasant the grounds were beyond beautiful, the food was good. We were right on the beach so no need for a long walk or trolley. Very pleased the travel agent recommended this resort for our family!!

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Beautiful grounds but needs improvement

The resort and views were absolutely breathtaking. I had a suite room on the first floor in a villa. Room and bathroom was nice in size and decor was simple. Bathroom had a tub with jets which was great but our shower had no pressure. We also had no hot water for 3 days, 2 days it was warm, and maybe 2 days it was actually hot. When i mentioned it they said to run the water for awhile but that never worked. We would've asked to switch rooms but didn't want to repack and waste time so we dealt w [... read more]ith it. We were quite far from the main grounds so we had to use the never ending stairs up because we were on a hill or the trolly which was suppose to come every 5min. I found most times it didn't come that often so we started to call the front to ask for one before leaving our room. As the week went on our wait for the trollys were longer and since it was raining on and off 5 out of the 7 days we were there it became annoying. Buffet had lots of varieties and the chicken was always good but i found the food was inconsistent in the taste and the way it was cooked (eg. Potatoes were cooked well one day but the next they weren't). The a la carte restaurants were amazing especially the surf and turf at the Mediterranean one. The a/c was quite high in them though, almost had to bring a cover to stay warm. We had the golden package and got an extra a la carte but when we booked them a day after landing there were none available for us to book a 4th because they were full. Beach was nice water was clean and no seaweed. Pools were nice but cold (could've been because of the rain though), beach water was actually warmer. Staff were nice and very friendly. Even in the pouring rain one staff member continued doing aerobics by the pool, very devoted staff. All in all we still had fun and made the best of it.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wonderful resort

The resort and people were amazing. They were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our trip and would recommend it to others. The food was very good. Will recommend and will gladly go back again!!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great resort

This hotel was very well kept! The staff worked hard all day and evening. We were always greeted with a smile and great service. This resort is quite big so you can except a lot of walking depending on your room location. Hotel location is about 1 hour and 20 mins from Cancún. This also means it’s a further drive to potential excursions.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Excursions are a must!

The hotel was great, rooms were spacious and the pool area was super nice! The beach can leave something to be desired if you have been to Cuba and the water was a little rough but still great! The guys selling weed are a bit much, got stopped about 15-20 times a day. But we had a great time Did the catamaran and Dunn's River falls and it was one of the best days, would recommend

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Worst experience ever

The rooms and grounds of the hotel is beautiful but the beach is about 5-7 minutes away .The food is NOT good at all and the staff was racist.Majority of them thought that my friend and i are dominicans and because of that my friend and I was not catered to.On numerous occasions they passed us by as if we were not there and rendered their service to others (white).I came on vacation to relax after a stressful semester and my stress levels were through the roof after this vacation. Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Great, quiet, small resort

The staff at this resort are outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. A great place to relax and read on the beach. Good food. Close to El Catey airport. Not a lot of space for walking. A lot of stairs to climb.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Delightful Place

We spent a fun week at the newly renovated Ambar. The meals were excellent whether from the buffet restaurants or the unlimited a la carte restaurants we tried. The location is good, being only 30 minutes from the airport, so you can get your sun on shortly after arriving!!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful Resort

The resort was beautiful, clean and the grounds are well maintained. Very pleasant staff. One of our challenges however was finding our way around the resort. The were no welcome maps being a first time visitor to show us what the resort had to offer, what our package included or where we could find the restaurants for example (since the resort is going green). They had the large billboards throughout the resort however when asked, there were no clear directions on the amenities available to u [... read more]s or how to find it. It wasn't until day 3 that we finally found the Bahia village where shops and evening entertainment were hosted (and only because we have stayed at other Bahia properties in the past). Not a big deal but I would suggest that the front desk should provide a welcome package upon checking in for first time guests to the resort so they can enjoy all the festivities this beautiful resort has to offer.. Overall a great vacation and we look forward to returning one day soon :)

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Outstanding!

Great place for a fantastic getaway with your spouse or your whole family. Us adults went this time as our children are now adults but we very much noticed such an amazing and a large area for kids. If we were to travel with kids this would definitely be where we would go. Very well laid out, well kept, so much to do for all ages. Great food, friendly and helpful staff. We found that on out of country vacations, ketchup has been hard to come by as is peanut butter. May sound Petty but as a Canadian these are Staples, not to mention kids favourites. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Best vacation ever!!

This hotel was a gem! Beautiful to say the very least. Well maintained, very accommodating, fantastic variety and quality of food and so much to keep you busy around the resort itself. The people that work there just make the whole experience superb! We had a tiny mishap and it was corrected immediately, nothing serious. Very impressed and will absolutely be back again. Highly recommend these folks and their fabulous establishment!

We had a splendid time with our 2 and 3 year olds with lots of activities to do in the resort. Clean rooms, very good food with lots of choices, nice and age-appropriate aquapark, clean and private beaches with plenty of room and available seats. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Relaxing vacation

Hotel rooms is big and the bed is the best for a great night sleep. This was our third time at this resort and always have a great relaxing time. Buffet has lots of variety to choose from but at times alot of the food was just warm. The a la carts were very good. Overall it was a great place to go and relax or even party if you want. Afternoon by the pool always had something going on if that's what you are in to. Nightly entertainment was also very good

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Incredible Vacation

Just returned from the Bahia Ambar resort, and the vacation couldn't have been better ! Jean, our butler, took care of us like we were his family. He handled our requests very professionally, and his outstanding personality made us feel incredibly good. All the staff there were happy and attentive, with a special thanks to Maura at the pool restaurant. She always went the extra mile to make sure we were well fed and watered, cappuccino coffees after lunch, wine, water, whatever we needed she wa [... read more]s right there. Also, the Limbo Restaurant had the most amazing food, presentation and flavors were over the top. I have no complaints, but will mention that the bathrooms are open concept, which is a little different when travelling with my 2 sisters.. We will be back soon !

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Never Disappointed

My Husband and I have been to this resort numerous times and are never disappointed. The resort and beach are beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious with so much variety, I can’t imagine how they do it. The staff are hard working , friendly and so much fun. This resort is AMAZING

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Mixed Review

Food was the best I had at any resort but otherwise I wouldn't say this is a 5 star - pictures on walls were warped, pool was dirty, only so many drinks available at the pool, had to pay for top shelf alcohol, entertainment at night was poor and during the day by the pool, lack of attention to detail like paint on walkways splashed, ripped chairs by the pool and beach, water stains and rips on the tents. And not all the A La Carte's were adults only. Speaking of A la cartes, I wasn't aware you had to book those 2 weeks in advance of coming as we barely got to go to any as all the time slots were booked when we got there, good thing there was a supper buffet. But when we did go the restaurants were practically empty so I am confused as to how all the restaurants were booked solid. Guest services did come around and ask us how our stay was which was nice, he listened to our feedback. I didn't mind that the beach was a bit of a walk from the resort, you could take a cart and there was always a spot by the pool and beach - probably because it wasn't a prime time to go (right after new years), I could see the beach being very uncomfortable if it was full but I loved the fact that there was a buffet right on the beach but again its for everyone including kids. I think it could have been cheaper in price for what you get. Would I go again? sure if it was cheaper, I mean the sun and the ocean is what we came for anyways but for a 5 star I think it could use a bit more luxuries and attention to details. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

Great resort, very nice staff, property kept very clean. Always doing maintenance to make everything look great. Pools are nice, rooms are nice and always clean. Food is good, can choose from all other locations as well so there is lots of options available. Not beach front, but get shuttled to private area on the beach which was nice and have access to all the pools and activities on the other properties which was nice as well as nobody can come on your property. Great place to getaway.

Hotel was very nice, but some restaurants were under renovation and were not able to eat there. Staff very friendly. Everything purchased was on the expensive side. It was clean, and the service from staff was very good.
