Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful resort and property

Had a fabulous week at Iberostar Paraido Beach. We were in the 4001 building, which was close to the lobby and buffet, however about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately you have to be at the beach before 7:00 am to reserve a palapa if you want shade. Carts run after 8:00 am with a typical 10 minute wait. There were alot of families, many with small children, which made for lots of noise at the beach. Was a bit windy which brought in lots of seaweed but they went constant with the [... read more] tractor to try and keep on top of it. Always clean towels at the beach hut, morning and afternoon. The food was excellent. Steakhouse was delicious, and the Mexican and Brazilian were good as well. Rooms were large and spotless. Beware of getting roped into a 2.5 hour presentation in hopes of you buying into their Iberostar hotel for mega $$$. It was very misleading and although we asked several times throughout, no $$ was talked about until the last 10 minutes....the whole thing was a huge waste of time, unless maybe if you travel a dozen or so times a year. Always nice entertainment in the lobby each evening after dinner and the shows were very entertaining. The animation team are very friendly and lots of fun.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful resort

❤️we loved the resort and beach and the workers food is Cuba but I really have to say that we still ate good the japenes restaurant was really good we always felt safe even when we left the resort... the only thing I would have to complain about is the rooms needs renovations and we had to chase for bottle wAter other than that everything was great ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇺❤️

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Average resort

The grounds of this resort were very well maintained. The rooms and lobby are dated and could use some upgrades. Do not choose a ground floor room as they can be extremely damp and have a strong smell of mould. We were on second floor of building 19 and the room was fine. For the most part the staff is friendly but this is not alway the case. Tipping goes a long way. The trick is to tip in order to get better service. The food is ok but VERY repetitive. Iberostar Selection Varadero: Awesome Resort

Everything we expected and more. It was our families (girls 13 & 15) first trip to Cuba. The resort was great. Very well maintained. We stayed in building 15 on the top floor. You couldn't ask for better staff. Our cleaning lady, Marilla (sorry if not correctly spelled) was the sweetest lady and made us feel like very special guests. We spent most of our time at the pool and the pool bar staff were great, especially Alex. We spent a lot of time with Vector doing rifle shooting, archery and playing darts, mini gold or pingpong. He aways made sure to include our teenage daughters. I have a gluten and diary allergy and everyone was very accommodating, especially at the Japanese restaurant. We loved the resort and we would definitely go back.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Paradise

Beautiful setting. Great food choices. Clean. Very attentive and helpful staff. No towel games, plentiful seating and palapas. Thanks to Emmanuel, concierge, for help above and beyond. Lovely to sit on Sky Deck and see the pelicans diving, listen to the waves, and feel the "miraculous air" on your face.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Superb incredible resort!

Fabulous beautiful perfection! The staff very happy helpful, beautiful grounds very clean and well maintained, rooms exquisite interior absolutely gorgeous. Amazing food so many choices creative displays. Awsome very large pools beautiful views lots and lounge chairs at the pools and beach. Can’t say enough good things about this resort.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing Resort

First time staying at an Iberostar and we were not disappointed. Room was very clean. The air conditioning in the room was amazing the fridge was well stocked. We stayed in room 1249 and we were close to everything. The beach was only a couple of steps down from the pool. The sand was nice and clean and the water was crystal clear. Food was amazing. The staff went out of there way to ensure our stay was perfect and they exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and look forward to going back.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Awesome Resort

This is the second time I have been to iberostar Cozumel, this resort does not disappoint. The food is awesome, the dinner buffet has a different selection each night and the servers and cooks are always working hard and making sure you are happy with what you have. The resort is so lush and beautiful, you can see all the hard work the maintenance crew puts into the property. All of the employees at iberostar are amazing, Miguel and Cesar are we’re the best entertainers and we’re always havi [... read more]ng fun with the guests, Francisco was our pool bartender for the week and never disappointed. All the rooms were very clean and we’re maintained that way throughout the week of our stay. The beach has a lot of coral so beach shoes are needed or you can enter the ocean by the pier which is what we did and water shoes were not needed, the pool is very large and has dual access to the pool bar. This resort has a new show each night but does not have much of a nightlife after the show ends at about 2300. Overall we had a great stay at iberostar Cozumel and I would highly recommend this resort to all my friends and family.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Fantastic Vacation

Rooms were clean , large , bed was super comfortable . Room temperature was excellent . Coffee maker and fridge in the room , both very handy to have . Close to everything , beach , main lobby , pool and hardly no stairs . Maids , bartenders , waiters and waitresses very friendly. Front desk people very helpful and easy to exchange your money . Food was great and a huge assortment . A la Carte meals were amazing .

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Great Time!!

The hotel and grounds are very clean. With the Flamingos, Peacocks and Inguinas the resort environment was amazing! Staff really take care of guest needs. The rooms were great. Food and drinks were good too for the most part. We had two a la carte meals during our stay. One was Asian, which was not our taste and the second was Steak night. Our steak were cooked as request and tender however they were a bit salty. Our server for breakfast was somewhat invisible each day however the dinner server [... read more] more then made up for it. Pablo was amazing! Overall experience was very good and I would return again! We had a group of nine and all of us had a great time!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful resort!!

Just came back from a weeks vacation at this resort and can't possibly say anything negative about it at all. Good food Lots of hot water Clean beach and pool area Friendly and helpful staff Clean towels everyday Nope nothing wrong with hotel at all and definitely going back next year!!!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: I love this resort

Let me preface this review by saying I've been to the Caribbean about 15 times, stayed in Mexico, Antigua, Jamaica, Bahamas, St Lucia, Dominican Republic and Cuba, and the Iberostar Ensenachos is the resort I would recommend the highest, having been there 5 times now. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, although on this most recent trip, our kids were considered adults). What I like about the resort: - It is on an isolated part of Cayo Santa Maria (actually its own island called Cay [... read more]o Ensenachos), so there are no neighbouring resorts - i.e., no one comes onto your beach! - It has 2 beaches: one is one of the 3 most beautiful natural beaches in Cuba (according to the tour guide), and the other beach is protected by a large reef, resulting in little-to-no wave action. - snorkeling can be done right at the beach - the scenery is beautiful - never seems to crowded - it is *not* a teenage party place Bad things about the resort: - it is a long (90 minute) drive from the airport - it's Cuba, so the food is not great. However, the food is better at the Ensenachos than other resorts I've visited in Cuba - the entertainment is not great (everything is singing and dancing...so if you like that, then good)

Recently stayed at this resort and found it very worth the cost compared to others I have tried.Rooms are comfortable and resort very clean.Food choices were plenty and good.Employees are very friendly and helpful

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Loved the resort

We were blown away by the welcoming lobby with the truly beautiful outdoor space. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Food was incredible, with lots of variety for everyone. Rooms were big with all the modern conveniences. Definitely coming back.

Hotel Mojito: Beautiful

We stayed for 1 week and had a great time! If hot is what you're looking for you've found it. Staff are great, helpful and friendly. If I had a complaint it would be the mosquitos! They should put up zappers or something.... I dunno what but seriously bad mosquitos! Otherwise loved it! We'll be back 👍😊

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: 5th time to Ensenachos

This was our 5th trip to the Ensenachos resort. We were not disappointed. Check in was fantastic. Our request for room location was fulfilled. The staff are the very best. Friendly, attentive, hard working. I found the buffet food to be a little more lacking than in previous years but none of us went hungry 😊. We had 2 a la cartes..Italian was ok, Mediterranean was phenomenal... best meal of the week.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Terrible experience

Resort was dirty. Rooms smelled very musty and damp. The grounds were dirty as well-litter on ground, cigarette butts all in the beach. Elevators disgusting. Service was extremely poor. First and last time in Cuba.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Enjoyable resort!

Our first time at the resort and we will be returning. We enjoyed the different restaurants and bars. Make sure to book the speciality restaurants early and bring a travel water bottle or tumbler for water and drinks at the bars. Great staff and a nice clean resort.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Very nice resort

Quite large resort and most suitable for people that have no mobility issues. The buildings are well maintained and rooms nice, large with separate bathroom, shower, toilet, entrance and storage areas. Service mostly excellent. Buffet good variety with lots of fruit, dairy and all regular food items. Bars have limited choice of international drinks. Gym has good variety of equipment. Extensive grounds, very well kept, lots of trees, plants and flowers. Overall we like this resort a lot.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Great resort in great location

Jungle in the middle of a resort is a first for me and it was definitely a highlight. Monkeys, peacocks, iguanas, flamingos and more. Staff are all amazing and work so hard to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. Pool is very large and configuration allows for different activities simultaneously and never feels full. Beach has soft, powder like sand and never had difficulty finding shade when needed. Sea was warm, unfortunately had a few days of seaweed that prevented us from going in [... read more] but this is no fault of the hotel. 10 minute ride to Playa Del Carmen-.great restaurants and shopping.
