Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Very good resort.
My husband and I went to Cuba for the first time for a much- needed rest. It's a well -run place on a beautiful beach. The food was OK for us as vegetarians, but better food labeling is recommended. The buffet staff was so nice and kind, in spite of being run off their feet! They appreciated my humble attempts at Spanish. Our room was very nice on the third floor of building five, but we got lost the first 2 days there, as they all look the same! Large signposts with directions to the number [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Better than ever!
This is a true 5 star resort in Cuba, the best hotel we have stayed at in Cuba. The food is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the spa is a great! We will be back for sure. They have great service and good entertainment.
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Beautifull Beach !!
Great resort, our 6th visit there, friendly staff, awesome beach, grounds were beautiful, buffet not too bad, the other restaurants were great especially the Italian, you never have to walk too far to get anywhere, more steps to the beach on the Mares side, we prefer the Luna side. The only negative comment would be the rude behavior of the Eastern Europeans, it was a real turnoff, may be a factor if we return.
Melia Las Dunas: Great Resort
I love this hotel it is huge with an adult and family section. The staff are amazing and there are plenty of activities for all ages. The beach is clean and the water is amazing. Definitely will be returning to this hotel.
Sol Palmeras: AMAZING SERVICE!
This is an excellent service, done by Karol Chareza from beginning to the end. We had an amazing time and we enjoyed the service and hopefully we see you next time...possibly next year. Merry Christmas
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Very nice
Been here 6 times. Dining room and restaurants are above average and the entertainment and service is good. Quite a few rooms being renovated - elevators ( 2 of 3) not working, dark hallways. The beach is great with managed chairs and a nice bar that serves lunch. As always, the staff was amazing and went out of their way for everybody.
Sol Cayo Coco: Sol Cayo Coco nice great Resort
Sol Cayo Coco is a beautiful great place to enjoy the 2 beaches, wonderful people and very friendly staffs, the room nice and clean, view I the ocean, nice entertainment, it was a great, but too short week, would be nice for 10 days to stay
Melia Las Americas: Love cuba
This is a beautiful hotel with excellent variety of good food, many swimming pools, beautiful clean beach. Excellent night entertainment. Close to a gorgeous golf club. Their sunset is breath taken. Very friendly service.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Comfortable and nice resort
Just came back from this resort. What we liked the most - was the beach and the ocean . Room was spacious, beds comfortable. Food very average, poor selection, quality even poorer. A la cart restaurants , specially International and Asian - big disappointment. But this is Cuba. Another disappointment - evening entertainment. We were expecting much much better. Overall - we enjoyed our week in this resort.
Paradisus Rio De Oro: nice resort
the resort required repair do to the age ! and poor maitenance over the years. they should not charge for lobster dinner! the lobster is local the carabian. the internet should be open ! no password required.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Million Dollar Beach
I loved the layout and size of the resort. Everything was reasonably close by. The staff was friendly and extremely hard-working. All the facilities were in good repair and the lighting was exceptional at night. Food was okay. We were able to book 4 a la carte restaurants. At lunch we had access to the main buffet, a BBQ buffet near the beach, the snack bar or an a la carte Italian/pizza restaurant. We were close enough to walk to the nearby marina where there were restaurants, shops and an [... read more]
Memories Cayo Largo: Very pleasing stay
The resort was very good! Staff was nice, even to us first-timers!!! Room was good, beds, not so much but the overall feeling was great. Sure, there was a lack of OJ, tonic water or mint for Mojitos but still, the sun, the sea and the company was really, really nice! Will go back for sure!!@!
Melia Las Antillas: Peaceful Cuba Vacation
Hotel and grounds beautiful. Nice layout. Don't forget to make a la carte reservations. Stayed for 5 days. Cannot wait to go again. Amazing hotel staff. Hotel is a little older but very clean. Great stay and great service.
Melia Marina Varadero: Wonderful staff
Pros- staff are the best thing about this resort.....everyone works hard to make your vacation enjoyable -unlimited a la carted -the lobby bar is a popular gathering spot with good nightly entertainment -rooms very clean -nice boardwalk area with restaurants and shops next door at the marina Cons- we have travelled to Cuba on a number of occasions and have a realistic expectation regarding the food however this was our biggest disappointment.....many foods are the frozen variety and fresh i [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Friendly and relaxing!
2nd time at this resort but so many others we met have been there many times. The staff are amazing! They enjoy what they do and you can easily see the friendships they have formed with repeat guests. The food is great, the rooms are clean, the beach is beautiful and the entertainment is very good!! Can’t wait to go backðŸ‘
Sol Cayo Coco: Awesome
Great resort from checking in very efficient great room great staff above average food nice to see new manager around resort speaking to guests and staff quick response when I had a problem in my room which wasn't really a problem I just didn't know what I was doing but they showed me great night entertainment would definitely recommend I will be back keep up the good work
Melia Buenavista: Gorgeous beach
I was at the Melia Buenavista for only four nights and wasn't able to take advantage of all its features, but I enjoyed my time there and especially appreciated the stunning ocean view from both my hotel room and the beach. The beach felt almost private at times -- I loved how clean and quiet it was. The staff was lovely, especially the butlers (Sergio and Joel), and I have no complaints about the service. My only negative feedback would be about the food, particularly the cooking of meat in [... read more]
Melia Peninsula Varadero: Not what we expected!
This resort is certainly not a 4 star. While the beach and water were amazing, the service was non existent. The room was clean, but missing towels, the balcony door didn't have a latch to close/ lock, also we didn't have power in the outlets and it got fixed after several calls and a trip to reception. ( door was not fixed while we stayed) The food was the absolute same every day, not many options, and if you went to eat half hour after the buffet opened, the counters were almost empty. No one [... read more]
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Returned for the eighth time.
Beautiful landscaping—flowers, shrubs, trees, walkways, all maintained daily by a phalanx of gardeners. The staff, though, are truly the crown jewel of Sol Rio. A walk on the beach will take you 10 minutes, end to end. Lounge chairs abound, beach staff will help you set up—a restaurant on the beach, a bar, volleyball, yoga, surf boarding, sailing, all available, all part of Sol Rio’s considerable amenities. The entrance breezeway, 1492 Bar, and coffee bar, patio (for smokers), pool and mor [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Great service!!!
Great and easy booking experience with Hayley at TripCentral, highly recommend. Our third time to Melia Jardines del Rey and it was the best yet. The staff was exceptionally attentive and the beaches were as good as ever. We don't go there for the food, but rather for the weather, people and beaches which were top notch as always.
