Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Amazing relaxing resort
The staff was very friendly, happy and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience and were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. The food and service was exceptional, we tried many new dishes and were very surprised at how great they tasted and were equally impressed in the helpfulness of the waiters serving them.
Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing Trip, Amazing Resort!
I absolutely loved the resort - the rooms were updated and very nice. The food was great. And I was able to find a wifi connection in the room as well as all over the resort. Highly recommend this resort.
Grand Palladium Colonial: A resort that lived up to all my expectations!!
I loved the landscape and scenery and the wildlife! The resort was immaculate and the staff very helpful. The beach was lovely and the option to walk long distances while still on the property was much appreciated. (Especially when thirsty as there was a place to stop for a drink at either end lol) I recommend the resort to families and couples alike. We were a family of 5 with 2 young adults and a teenager. Many activities to chose from and no shortage of restaurants to try out.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Stay!
We arrived on time, but had to wait for other passengers before the bus could leave from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel, there was not much of a line up for check in. Got checked in in few minutes(upgraded with a VIP upgrade b/c of repeat booking with Bahia.) All the amnesties were excellent @ Coba. Food was excellent, but would be nice to see different varieties on different days. La Carte restaurants were really nice. Many to choose from! Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the kids [... read more]
Grand Palladium Kantenah: How can they mess this up?
A very good resort for families. The rooms were good, the beach very good, the activities are well planned, the food is a very good mix for both children and adults. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. The problems are all related to check in and check out. Check in took about 1 hour! We were then driven to our building and dropped off WITHOUT OUR LUGGAGE. We were told that our bags (left at the lobby) would be brought around later. What were we do do until the bags arrived? The bags [... read more]
Secrets Huatulco: Great area - Great Resort
Stayed for a week just before Christmas. Still going through withdrawals!. If you want a relaxing vacation on a beautuful beach this is the place to go. We were able to go kayaking and sailing the hobie ctas every day as they had enough equipment for all the guests. We spent most days at the quiet side of the beach and never had a problem finding chairs and shade. Ocean could be a bit rough, but was fine if you timed the waves and were carefull. One side of the beach was well protected for a saf [... read more]
Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: resort is under major renovations
great beach, the problem is this resort is currently under major renovations, would not stay here until next fall when the resort should be fully renovated. The staff are excellent , great beach and nice pool (only one available at this time). I was not impressed with the construction , paid for a penthouse suite they are not available at all.....
Las Palmas by the Sea: Wonderful staff, great trip
The hotel was clean the staff very friendly and helpful, the food was very good and the drinks kept flowing. The beach is well kept. We were there for Christmas and New Year and they made both occasions very special and the traditions that we learned about are not only beautiful but amazing to see. Look forward to going again.
Grand Oasis Sens: Great adults only resort
We travelled with 5 young adults to this beautiful resort. It was kind of quiet but the pools were never full and the beach was beautiful. Unfortunately, the waves were to strong to swim; you could get hit by the waves if you like that. No tennis on site which we had specifically asked about so that was disappointing. Food was good and we enjoyed the swim-up bar (Gracias Carlos!) The Entertainment left to be desired although the snipets of Cirque du Soleil in the lobby were amazing.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort!
The Grand Bahia Principe Coba is a very large and beautiful resort. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff were extremely hardworking and friendly. They were always busy cleaning and assisting the guests. The resort was at full capacity when we were there, and a crib was not available for our grandson until the third day. That is really the only complaint we have.
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Vacation!
My son and I had very nice stay at the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum, wanted to be close to beach. Our room was a little dated but kept very clean and fridge stocked daily. The grounds were beautiful and enjoyed the beach most days, did have to get chairs before 10 am thou. The staff were very friendly. We ate all of our meals at buffet, as my son is very big eater, we were never disappointed, but we're not expecting any more. The shows we attended were ok, have seen much better. We did not go to a [... read more]
Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Phenomenal
This was our second time at the Paradisus and it was just as good as the first. The grounds, the food the service is out of this world. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable! Love love love .
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: amazing resort
Resort was beautiful. Food was delicious. People were amazing. Unfortunately my daughter was seriously hurt on the resort and the hotel did nothing! I feel they should have been concerned and compensated us in some way for the two nights we lost in hospital.
Zel Cozumel: Nice Resort
Spacious rooms and well-maintained hotel. Overall, the stay was comfortable and hotel staff are friendly. Beware of timeshare sold by some agents working at reception. Also free wifi is only available in the lobby and at a price of $10 USD at rooms. Food is generally okay and cocktails are free. I would recommend this hotel but will probably try another hotel like Cosmoleno hotel just 200 yards away from Melia.
Riu Santa Fe: nice resort
The pools were great and lots of swim up bars. Not the greatest selection of alcohol though. Nightlife at the resort was also pretty lame. Food all tasted the same. Very nice resort otherwise and very clean. Friendly staff.
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Amazing !!
My husband & I had a great stay at the Hard Rock Riviera Mayan, Heaven side. Beaches are not plentiful which is the only downfall. Staff very helpful & great, rooms & pools were also great! No waiting at restaurants. Room service when needed great! One of our better trips. Try & stay in buildings 2 or 3 which are closer to pool area. Building one is a far walk.
Riu Flamingos: Riu Rocks!
We just returned from the Riu Jalisco and we could not be happier with our time there. Having stayed at the Riu 12 years ago we constantly were comparing the newly renovated hotel to the old and we found nothing was lacking. The food was fantastic with lots of variety and very good quality - same goes for the drinks! The hotel has been recently renovated but the rooms are much the same as they were on our previous visit. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the maid staff are [... read more]
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Awesome resort
This was our third trip to the Mayan Riviera but first stay at the Valentin Imperial. We absolutely loved the resort. The grounds, pool area, lazy river, beach, food and service were superior. We would definitely not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone travelling to the Mayan. We plan on returning.
Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Had a great time
We went with young kids and the extended family, and had a great time. Very friendly staff, lots of cheerful local people and a surrounding small town. Rooms fairly well kept, the food was good with lots of variety. Would go again.
Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Entertaining week!
The hotel grounds were quiet and spread out. This made it feel less crowded. The rooms were a good size and very quiet. The snorkelling was amazing and the beach was quite nice. We travelled with our adult children. Our group of seven had a great time. There was lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Volleyball, soccer tournaments made it easy to meet new people. Food was not the best.....they could use improvement in this department. Overall we had an enjoyable time and would visit again.
