Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing Resort

Beautiful place to enjoy the ocean The food was great..The staff were always so helpful and friendly..A great place to relax and enjoy the entertainment at the pool and evenings!! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Fridge well stocked with enjoyable beverages.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Fantastic resort

We enjoyed our stay at the Riu. Pools were fantastic. Bathrooms were clean. Drinks were great. Restaurants were good, but they don't take reservations. You need to show up at about 6:00 and you will be seated if they have room or come to the 2nd seating at 8...I think it was. The buffet had the same things everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner. We enjoyed our coffee here! Our room was on the 15th floor. It was freezing cold when we got there. It was set at 15degrees. We had issues with the a/c the whole stay. The floors were always moist. Not sure how to explaine it. At night I was cold with the a/c off. Room was not my favourite place. They came o fix the a/c and it seemed to fix the wet floors for a bit, but it didn't fix the problem. Floors were always moist! Loved the place but the hotel room not so much Also on the safety side of things. We found broken glass on the beach right next to our chairs one morning. Thank goodness no one stepped on it.....we removed it from the sand and notified someone to come clean it or remove that part of the sand from the beach area. Someone did come, but he was scattering the sand all around. Maybe he didnt understand us!!! They shouldn't allow glass onto the beach area. There was always someone at the entry way telling you to put a shirt on as soon as you entered the building. They should have someone telling people no glass on the beach as soon as you enter the beach area.

Riu Playa Blanca: Not my standard Rui

Let me start from the beginning, checking in was easy, rooms were very nice, clean, bright, bathroom very nice and big, resort is on a hill so the lobby floor is on the second floor, buffet restaurant was amazing you won't go hungry, beach sand very long, bars were great, many pools 1 swim up bar pool adults only 2 kids pools and 1 general pool . We went in Aug 2019 so you will find some bugs, rain, clouds, and ALOT of Columbians coming for 3/4 day vacations since it's their summer. They say it's 5 years old it looks older then that and there's no Rui sign when you drive up.

Riu Montego Bay: Great Family Vacation

We went to this resort as a party of 12 for a vow renewal. We were upgraded to a suite because of our renewal and our room was beautiful. 2 of the rooms in our group had a musty smell (building #1). Our group didn't complain though as they were not in the room a lot of the time. Food was amazing in all of the restaurants, our favorite was the Italian. Shout out to Chocolate, Abigail, and Purple from the entertainment staff and a very special thank you to Darrin in the buffet for breakfast and Shakira in the Italian restaurant. (She amazinginly remembered all 12 peoples orders - drinks included - from our meal 3 nights before) absolutely blew us away My only complaint was that they need more washrooms. There are only 2. One at the lunch buffet, and one in the lobby. Makes for either wet bathing suits tracking up to the lobby during the day or (I'm sure) people just going in the pool. Perhaps when they renovate they can add a washroom by the pool and one on the beach??

Riu Palace Antillas: Very friendly people

No complaints about this resort. Drinks and food were fantastic! Always lounge chairs available any time. People extremely friendly and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable; managers walk around and ask if there is anything they can do to help. Wide age group of people here. Entertainment around the pool is great and lots of different activities. Highly recommend this place!

Riu Palace Aruba: Needs an Update

The staff is nice, helpful, friendly and attentive most of the time. The rooms are terrible, old, they smell, the standard rooms are terrible. Very bad circulation the floors are always wet and slippery because the air temperature doesn’t work properly. They need more entertainment around the pool. The beach workouts and yoga in the morning are fabulous she’s great. The food is decent. Always something to eat for breakfast and lunch but dinners suck. This was our 2nd time first time was much better which was 8 months ago looks like the place is going down hill. Wouldn’t go back. Adult only next door so nice.

Riu Montego Bay: Fantastic time

Love love love the RIU resorts. The RIU Montego Bay is an older resort but apart from the rooms, you wouldn’t really know. The furniture is the give a way as it’s old style but the rooms are Kept very clean. Bathtubs are dangerous with no rubber mats, especially for seniors. Walk in showers hopefully will be in all rooms when this resort is renovated next year. Th [... read more]e grounds are lovely, smaller resort so not a whole lot of walking. Beach is lovely, however it is not a long one to walk. All staff are very friendly and eager to please. Especially in the restaurants and bars. Entertainment crew are fantastic. We had so much fun. As repeat guests at other locations we always got a bottle of nice wine or champagne, fruit plate sent to our room, this location did not acknowledge this. Was surprised that you couldn’t get mimosas at breakfast, infact the only time we saw champagne was at our daughters vow renewal celebration. Out of the three “a la carte” restaurants there was only one that was, and at that it was only the main meal that was served to you. All in all really had a great time, we travelled the week of August 25-September 1,2019. Family of 12.

Riu Republica: RIU Rep

AMazing place and it was just like the agent told me, like the experience. especially with the supervisor Victor who was there to help, assist and reply to all the needs. You can tell, he is very caring and very professionnal . He makes our stay ( my friend and i) very easier, I just don t like the fact that the hotel asks you for an extra fee when you have other friends from other hotels visiting you ,,, that s really unfair and staying in a hotel is like your home , so you can have visitor  [... read more]as you wish. Planning another trip for December, this hotel could be my choice but that lil fact could be an issue to make my booking. At the end, i can recommand that place, food also is great except for the desserts who don t have any taste.

Riu Reggae: Amazing resort!!!!

Best resort ever!!! Amazing entertainment team, food and location. Very clean rooms and resort. Great for singles, couples and people looking to have a fun time. Beach could be a little nicer but water was warm and calm. Very nice pools, both with swim up bars.

Riu Reggae: Fun resort!

Spent 7 days at the Riu Reggae Montego Bay resort. Upon arrival we were greeted with mimosas and quickly checked in. The resort is very nice and modern, spacious while not being too big and has a lot of amenities. We also had access to the amenities at the Riu Montego Bay resort, which was about a 5 minute walk away. The food was great and they had lots of vegan options. One complaint though is I wish they'd have had more late night vegan options other than fruits and dry nacho chips. The rooms and resort grounds were clean, the staff gave great service and the entertainment team was amazing!! They work so hard but they're always smiling and wanting to hang out or play games with you! We're gonna miss the people here! Overall we had a great time and can't wait to come back! Btw this is definitely a party resort so be ready to dance all day and night!

Riu Bambu: AWESOME RESORT

alot of small shops in the resort, riu bambu is connected to all riu hotels so you can walk around and see the different shows. there are pool parties in the resort that run during the day and night. food was really good also and service was great

I have gone to many all inclusive in the past I was very disappointed Our room plugs was not working There were molds, drawers smelled so bad, spiders and Roaches were in our room and bathroom, no conditioners Ohhhh towels very very old and smelly, we were told to take our luggage’s to our rooms, only once our room was cleaned in other resorts our room was done at night, rooms were not swept only with a dirty mop was mopped and hair was everywhere I am so disappointed at the beach there [... read more] were horse dripping everywhere, stray dogs and dogs dripping, pools were extremely dirty and smelly, we paid extra for ocean view we hardly could see ocean our room was facing garden and entertainment stage it was very loud and disturbing there were 8 out us and we were all so disappointed,

Riu Republica: Great resort very clean amazing restaurants

The grounds were always clean, nice staff beautiful hotel rooms. Good location. Pools were always clean Good entertainment!!!!! I really liked the hotel and location. Younger crowd. Lots of choices for a la carte restaurants.

Riu Republica: Beautiful beach

My 18 year old and I enjoyed the beach every single day. Very clean and plenty of loungers to choose from. We did visit the pools and the water slides too. So many lovey places to swim and different music to enjoy at every pool. Wish there was music on the beach. We enjoyed the buffet (thanks Lorenzo for making our table so lovely at breakfast and dinner) & the jerk chicken (on the beach) was great! Riu Republica: Loved It

The grounds were beautiful,park like especially at night.The whole resort was constantly maintained-gardening,painting,cleaning.The food was delicious with a constantly changing menu.We even drank the water and ate the ice cubes with no negative results.Our room was spacious and cleaned daily. Our shower drain was rather sluggish and was fixed the same day as complaint was made.The only improvement could be with the entertainment which was similar most nights with different themes. Riu Republica: Riu Republica - A sure bet

This was the first Riu I had ever been to. I was drawn tot he Riu name as they are a chain and they also have 5 star resorts. We were impressed by many things at the Riu. The food was fantastic - the amount of food choice, the quality and variety were outstanding. It was comparable to being on a cruise ship. It is a large resort and the grounds were immaculately maintained. Staff were friendly and the service was good. The one recommendation I would make to anyone thinking of going to this resort - take an adapter for the wall outlets. We didn’t realize that one was required so my electric toothbrush could not be plugged in for the week. Luckily the rooms did have USB ports in the room so charging phones tablets was not a problem.

Riu Palace Baja California: A five star experience!!

This resort exceeded our expectations! My daughters and I were very impressed by the facilities, the food, and the exceptional customer service. The whole experience was fantastic! We would definitely consider going back. The facilities are beautiful and impeccable, the location is great, close to the airport and right next door to the other two Riu properties and their amenities. From the staff at the beach and pool, setting up our chairs, umbrellas, the towel personnel, the bartenders, chefs walking around to make sure the food was to our liking, etc. in sum we would 100% recommend this resort. The only hesitation would be the beach; however, we were warned ahead of time that we could not swim in the ocean, therefore, we needed a hotel with a "good pool" and this was for sure the right choice fo that!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: The best all inclusive we’ve been to!

Beach: best beach I’ve been to (I’ve been to Cuba, Jamaica and Mexico) Hotel: absolutely gorgeous. Clean and well air conditioned. Food: amazing food! Even the buffet food was great. Customer service: the workers were all super nice and pleasant. Overall, the best all inclusive I’ve been to!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Beautiful Resort

This was my first time at an all inclusive and I absolutely loved it. The food was great, a wide selection of restaurants and the jerk chicken station was amazing and freshly served! The beach was beautiful and the staff service was exceptional.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Perfect Honeymoon Experience

The beach is beautiful, everything is so close by to the resort. Lots of restaurants to choose from and the buffet was always delicious. Our favourite was the little cafe. The service at the resort is great.
