Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great place to stay!
Resort grounds are beautiful and they have very friendly & courteous staff. A little tough hard to ask questions as most speak very little English at all. We went for a wedding and the resort wedding coordinator & photographer were phenomenal! A la carte food was amazing and really enjoyed the assortment of food at the buffet.
Ocean Coral by H10: awesome resort
loved the Ocean coral, Candy & Rickardo meet us every morning for breakfast and their service was fantastic..only negative was how sneaky the main desk was on how Elvis got us..he says enjoy your stay and Elvis will look after you. we thought it was about the resort which he explained and then he suggested we meet for a special breakfast the next morning...the resort itself was clean & inviting.. only thing I would change is making reservations for dinner..we didn't get to have supper @ the mexi [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: BAHIA PRINCIPE - ADULT ONLY HOTEL
The hotel I found was quite isolated and I preferred the Coba or the other associated hotel over the one I stayed at. However, I must say, It was my birthday and they went above and beyond. I was so surprised and grateful. Truly amazing. I feel the front desk staff should be more educated on common questions that may be asked and some of them didn't speak English very well. The info session should have been held at my hotel instead of the Coba. Everyone else had their session at their home base. [... read more]
Riu Palace Las Americas: Halloween in Mexico!!
Let me start off with the best - THE SERVICE! Outstanding!!! The staff are amazing, hotel is beautiful, food was great! This trip ensured that we will only stay with RIU you cant go wrong! Awesome holida
Riu Caribe Cancun: Riu Caribe
The hotel was very modern, friendly staff and good service. The buffet was amazing. The steakhouse was not that good and the mexican was so so. Besides being very windy everyday the end of Oct the seaweed on the beach is an everyday occurrance and a nonstop cleaning process. We were there for 10 days, would I go there again, probably not. I prefer the Riu Cancun, the buffet seems a lot larger there. All and all it was very good.
El Cozumeleno Beach: 11/05 TO 11/12/2014 - COZUMEL VACATION
WE STAYED AT EL COZUMELENO IN COZUMEL EARLIER THIS YEAR (FEBRUARY) AND THE SELECTION OF FOOD WAS MUCH BETTER IN FEBRUARY THAN IT WAS NOW - EXAMPLE - ONE MORNING FOR BREAKFAST WE COULDN'T GET SAUSAGE OR BACON AND AT LUNCH THERE WERE NO TOMATOES, CUCUMBERS FOR THE GREEK SALAD. EACH DAY WAS TOO MUCH OF THE SAME FOOD FROM THE DAY BEFORE. NOT ENOUGH VARIETY.
Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Wonderful getaway!
Now Sapphire was terrific. The resort itself was beautiful and We felt safe at all times. The staff was very well trained - from check in to concierge to bar tenders to cleaning staff. You heard "It is my pleasure" all the time. The food was amazing - 5 star from buffet to any of the restaurants. A small resort but that is what we loved about it. We upgraded to an ocean view room and worth every penny! And only a 20 minute ride from the airport! We would go back in a heartbeat!
Allegro Cozumel: Awesome trip
Had a great time at the Occidental Grand. Rooms were clean, always a beach chair to sit on, food was good, but have to say staff make this resort great! Can't wait to return to this resort with my family.
Grand Sunset Princess: Excellent value for your money
Although the resort is large it is situated in such a fashion that it did not feel crowded. Staff is very professional and the service is very good as well. We also enjoyed the many restaurants and the quality of food. The area for small children was great and also their opportunity to find some suitable activities.
Platinum Yucatan Princess: Resort was nice...different...but nice
We had an excellent week at the Platinum Yucatan Princess. The resort was different...we found the "modern" decor a bit different and a bit cold. Extremely clean and the staff were, for the most part, very courteous and helpful. Resort was only about half full so it was a bit quiet. Expected more night time activities...the activities the resort had wrapped up by 10:30 or 11:00 pm and were pretty mellow. Food and liquor choices were good. Beach was nice.
Riu Vallarta: R&R @ RIU Vallarta
It is hard to explain in 200 words or less! Arrival, for some reason the staff anticipated our arrival and surprised us. The surprise was we usually take a cab and no one to my knowledge new we were coming-SURPRISE!! so FANTASTIC!! ROOM, I think the rooms do need some updating although clean and fresh everyday 2 twin beds together to make a King bed was really not great, also the bed itself very hard, just want you to know, not a big deal but we do like comfort. Fridge stocked well although we u [... read more]
Ocean Coral by H10: Good hotel, not great. No real problems.
Spent 8 days at the Ocean Coral at the end of October. The hotel was OK, more for younger people. We were a group of 3 ladies in mid sixties. Room was musty, not much of an ocean view for what we paid.
Riu Flamingos: Amazing Resort
I stayed for 1 week at the Riu Jalisco. I had a amazing time. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The food the atmosphere , the food, the location and the weather was amazing. I am planning my next trip to the same location with my family.
Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: cleanest all-inclusive that I've ever stayed at.
My husband and I stayed for one week at Gran Porto Real in Playa Del Carmen. We chose this resort because it was so close to the downtown '5th Avenue'. First, I must say that the front desk reception, upon our arrival was organized and quick. We were in our room within 10 minutes of our arrival. We had upgraded to an 'Ocean View' and we more than pleased with the view from our balcony. Our room was 244 and had a nice view of the ocean and Pier at the North side of the resort. Our room was close [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: great hotel!
Clean, great location, great view nice staff and good food. Elevators were a bit slow during certain periods but overall a great experience. Great balconies and a nice beach. Would definitely go back.
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Really good, large
We enjoyed our stay had some issues with showers, but liked the beach and pool areas , food was good , the mixed drinks could be better more consistence with the ratio of booze to mix . I think I refer a smaller resort but this was fun and staff friendly
Tesoro Manzanillo: Very pleasing Resort
Tesoro resort was a very quiet hotel at the beginning of Nov. The grounds were immaculate and the bar service was average and I only say this because they may have been understaffed at the time. I would have liked to see more variety of food but what there was was good. Lots of shops, and things to do. I would go back to this resort. Oh the beds were comfortable and the housekeeping amazing.
Plaza Pelicanos Club: Good resort
Good resort if you are single and enjoy the city life, can be noisy at times, the food is average, good value for the money, the staff was very helpful, the people in the city were wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable
El Cozumeleno Beach: Staff are fantastic
Arrived Nov 5 check in very smooth room was spacious and amazing views. Shower was hot but not great flow. Buffet had limited selection for dinner but the reservation restaurant was excellent. We could order from menu for breakfast and lunch. Pool was cold and beach is rocky but once in snorkellinh wa great seeing many fish
Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Bang for your buck
For the price it was great. The service is outstanding. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food at the buffet was good. If you are fussy, you may not care for it that much, We ate at the a la carte restaurants a couple time and they were good.. The weekend was very busy with families but during the week was quiet. The room was ok. It is not a 5 star room We had a Jr suite, and the hide a bed was not very comfy. The bathroom could use redoing. Location is good as close to the marina and the m [... read more]
