Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Amazing Holiday

We had stayed at the resort a year ans a half ago and found the service even better. The grounds and the resort are very well maintained. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The entertainment is very good and adult oriented. The food and the dining experience is excellent. We have stayed at the excellence resorts previously and find the service, food and dining experience much better at Secrets. Room service is very quick. The pools are very nice. We were there from Sept 1 to  [... read more]Sept 12/2014. We had a Partial Oceanview room that had an amazing Ocean and Pool view. I can't wait to go back.

Allegro Cozumel: What a nightmare

Where should I start? The hotel burned 2 days after our arrival and we ended up in another hotel. Actually this was the only good news of my stay. We were there in August and usually the hotel close in September and October. Therefore there was no life(activities during the day) on site, choice of food was very limited....Regrets: the kids pool. I choose that hotel for my kids and because of the fire the only fun thing was gone. I have to admit the Allegro customer service, Trip Central were ver [... read more]y helpful through this emotional situation (especially for the kids). I hope though this fire will be a good opportunity for the Allegro to upgrade their service (maintenance of the pools, rooms, food...). One last thing....I will never use again Vacation Air Canada to book my trips:. Complete lack of service on site and useless.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: excelent resort

Is another hotel chain Grand Bahia Principe in the organization good, with excellent rooms, suberb food, service, safety cleanliness, beach, pools very good. Animation and entertaining good. To many bares and restaurants la carta(11).

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Fantastic Resort - great place to relax!

The guestrooms, pools, restaurants, buffet, and grounds were all nice and tidy, very well kept. The food in the buffet and the a la carte restaurants were excellent. The Hotel staff in the restaurants and bars and at the pool were great to deal with. The staff in the Hotel Gift Store were not very friendly. They never smiled. We asked the front desk for change for a $20USD and they sent us to the gift shop for change. The staff in the gift shop immediately said no and finally gave in when we sa [... read more]id the front desk sent us there for change. That is my only complaint.

Riu Flamingos: Happy experience

Grounds and room very clean; food excellent; asian restaurant not to par and one or two of the staff there abrupt; almost all other staff of the hotel friendly and helpful; Suggestion: some rooms could be set aside for seniors where the toilets bowl higher, the shower booths equipped with a device seniors could call for help in emergency

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Incredible Resort

A fantastic 4 night stay. The service was top of the line. The food was amazing, the facilities were magnificent. I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. I recommend you take a strong look at this resort for your next vacation.

I would recommend this resort to couples. No kids. Resort and staff are fabulous. Staff couldn't do enough for me. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Main pool has great swim up bars with great service. Night entertainment was good.Beach is sandy and groomed daily. No complaints. Will go back.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: excellent service

location was perfect. It is in the middle of everywhere. dining was great, especially thai and french restaurant. Japanse and mexican and italian was average, general service was excellent though. pools were great and the beach was very beautiful. entertaining performances. bars everywhere.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Resort and Service

We were at the GBP Akumal Golden from Aug. 29th to Sept. 5th and it was one of the best trip we've ever had. The entire place was spotless because of the hardworking staff. We enjoyed the buffet food as they have so much variety everyday that you don't even have to go to the a la cartes. Patricia and the other servers were very attentive and always with a smile. The beach was awesome, specially the pools with their jacuzzi. Our rooms are cleaned everyday and fridge stocked. The only reason I did [... read more]n't rate this as a five star, since the decor and bed in the rooms could be updated, and the aircondition to work more efficiently. We stayed at building 66 and had the oceanview, however every morning, they would have delivery trucks parked infront of our balcony. We were out most of the time, so this was very minor. Next time we'll have the higher floors. Overall this resort is fantastic and would return in a heartbeat!

TRS Yucatan: Spend a little more and stay at the Royal Suites

It was fantastic. We spent the extra money and stay at the Royal Suites. The perks that you get are phenomenal! Especially access to the spa, the exclusive restaurant El Jardin and the taxi service! It was fantastic!! Will definetly return!

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: palladium white sand resort

I would not recommend this hotel. It smelled like mold. Our flight out of toronto was delayed so we got to the hotel at 4 in the afternoon no were to eat everything opend at 6 for dinner. Front desk no open spoke english so they were no help if you had any questions.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: TIME SHARE SCAM - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

This hotel is geared to sell you time shares. Period. The food sucks. Period. I compare the quality of food to The princess and the River Maya hotels in the same part of Mexico. Got suckered into putting 25% deposit on time share. Upon getting home and trying to book a vacation it is more expensive to book thru time share then an on line travel agent. The whole hotel is based off of color of wrist bands when you check in. If you are not the highest member they try to suck you into time share. It [... read more] is horrible. Riu Vallarta: Extremely helpful , friendly, Outgoing

Now understand I think it was very close to 100% First time I went there was people smoking in Disco & no problems were caused & this time people were asked to leave & the rule should be just no smoking or drinks on Dane Floor, My other suggestion is more quallity snack available for late evenings like fries or personal pizza. Now its only my opinion , I'm going back no matter what. And move Isreal from pool bar back to bar by theater , he had the ability to get people involved in fun and social [... read more]izing with others you did not know just laughs and fun. I will say I tip above the average tip but these people give 100% to try make you happy & comfortable.. I will there was a couple minor problems but I am the type that will bring it to their attention & they were rectifying immediatly.. Enjoy Just about pool, people using tables in the pool who smoke and fill up plastic cups with butts & leave them to be knocked into pool, try think of others & have some respect for people & staff.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: All right, ... sort of.

A long way from the airport - 1 1/2 hours? Huge, impersonal architecture. Bathroom has a large opening into the bedroom, not the doorway - very odd! The safe in the bedroom is extra ($30?), despite the Tripcentral quote! The concierge? staff in the buildings are very sly at trying to upgrade you for timeshares - beware. The beach is nice but very small. Watch out for coral burns on the rocks. It can take a month or more to heal. The food is good. We didn't view any of the entertainment. Iberostar Selection Cancun: Beautiful resort and overall relaxing experience!

This hotel was amazing! From the second we walked in, we were helped by the front desk. The food is delicious, especially the Japanese restaurant. Never struggled to get a lounge chair at the pool either! The hotel rooms were cleaned regularly and the mini fridges were filled with free beers and water everyday! We loved everything and would totally go back. Also, I know everyone is sketched out by the water and ice cubes, but at Iberostar, they make it from the same bottled water that they provi [... read more]de so we didn't get sick at all. Overall amazing experience. The Star Friends aka the entertainment team were unreal and so excited about all the activities and put on great shows at night. You should go here!

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: This is an amazing & HUGE resort.Simply beautiful.

Very clean resort, loved the washrooms all around the resort always clean. You can see and do things all day long. More than enough swimming pools and bars to enjoy! Food in any place you ate, be it at the buffet or at the restaurants a la carte, just to die for. Delicious!!

Hyatt Zilara Cancun: Worth the money

A real 5 start resort. The restaurants were excellent. The staff were friendly and the pool and beach area were top notch. I was there the first week of May 2014 for 7 days. Had a total of 30 minutes of rain. I have stayed at several other Mayan Riviera resorts but none of them compared to this. Easy access to shuttle bus right outside the front entrance. Mini mall across the street.

Riu Flamingos: Thiefs in RIU PALACE

I originally booked for Riu Jalisco but when we went there they told us it is full of locals so they are going to upgrade us to Riu Palace. They sent us to Riu Palace and we had the worst time in there! To think that a 5 start hotel will be better than all of them but NO IT WASN'T. RIU PALACE stole from our Room twice. First they stole a pack of smokes which is not a big deal but than they stole my wife's Michael Kors purse!! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: EXCELLENT!

My husband and I stayed here recently from aug 25th-sept 1st. We absolutely loved it. The food was great, the staff were always helpful and very polite. One staff member who stood out for us was Manuel. He worked breakfast and Lunch at the buffet and was the most polite and funny waiter we've ever experienced. Our room was fantastic, although we did have a broken door handle on our rooftop door, leading to the Jacuzzi which they fixed the next day. The resort is so peaceful and quiet, with not too many people, which was great for us when we compared it to tulum or coba because these two were always busy when we took the shuttle over. The pools were beautiful, and were never too packed. The water in the pools was always clean. One thing I will add about this resort is that the workers are constantly working to keep it in tip top shape. Unlike other resort I've visited which you sometimes don't see many staff anywhere. If your an adult looking for something quiet and in a wooded peaceful location this is your place!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Ok Resort, Roaches!!!

The overall experience was good, however our room at least had an infestation of cockroaches. It was really bad! Besides that the food was good, the pools and beaches were nice and the experience was good. The only other notable concern was the lack of friendliness of the staff. Generally when we had any issues with the room that needed to be addressed, the staff would agree to fix it and never contact us back.
