Occidental Caribe: Excellent service

Everything was very clean although it is an older resort. There is something to say about a well oiled machine... The food was decent and the beach beautiful. The pools were clean. They definitely need more loungers. The staff were very friendly. They aren't consistent with stocking water/ beer in your fridge.. but all around... I would go back.

Serenade Punta Cana Beach and Spa Resort: the Serenade resort was amazing

this hotel was big , with 7 residents buildings and the main one for reception, restaurants and bars and shops the grounds were well maintained , staff were constantly cleaning everything the buffet was good with daily changes in variety of food breakfast was interesting as there was a Constand lineup for crepes and the donut wall was a hit with the kids and adults alike WE were able to eat at three ala cart restaurants...Japanese, steak and Mediterranean the Japanese restaurant was aweso [... read more]me there was plenty of entertainment near the pool bar, lots of music and dancing the beach was good. we took almost daily walks along the beach and a few times went into the ocean my only complaint was our room our room was fine but the bathroom had some issues 1- the bathroom door would not lock we called maintenance, they came to examine it and they said they were coming the next day with the the proper paets guess what...they never came back the whole time we were there 2- there was no privacy in taking a shower I had to hook up my shower curtain which I brought with me and an old beach towel to provide more privacy for the whole shower the shower and bathroom area was badly designed everything else was okay and we enjoyed our stay for the 7 days

Occidental Caribe: Great Resort

Pros -Very clean -VERY friendly service -Like the layout of the resort -Food was good -Excellent entertainment staff. You could tell that they put a lot of effort in and seemed to enjoy their jobs -Special note to the pool towel girl at the 'quiet' pool. Always had a big welcoming smile. Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Aweful beyond Words!!!

The worst thing in the word is trusting a company like Trip Central to provide you a last minute deal at a 5 star resort - Bahia Grand Principe -Turquesa. This hotel is a symbol of everything that is wrong in the world. Dirt, dirt and dirt toppled with a bunch of racist employees who refuse to speak English. Our vacation was nothing short of a nightmare. My husband is covered in bites. Day three of waking up to a blood stained sheets followed by some kind of insect droppings/shells, we went to c [... read more]omplain only to be told the staff didn’t understand. Oddly they knew that the only option was to upgrade for $90 US per night. Once we paid, the staff’s English kicked in enough to tell us we were going to finally get clean and better service. Everytime we wanted a drink we were either ignored or told we needed to pay for select liquor or beer. All in all we are home now and my husband is on antibiotics. At this point I am convinced that Trip Central is aware of this resort’s milicous attempt to force people to upgrade or live in filth for 7 days!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very outdated

The rooms are absolutely disgusting! Very old and rundown. They do not spray for bugs and everyone got eaten alive. The food, pools and grounds were absolutely wonderful. Service is terrible. I do not recommend this place.

Excellence El Carmen: Excellent Hotel

This hotel had everything. From great food , service and entertainment. Would definitely go back. Cannot really say anything bad about this resort. A must try. The grounds were kept impeccable. The beach is clean . Loved it

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great gateway

This Resort was pretty good, a little smaller from what I’m used to but everything is close by. The club section rooms were definitely worth the extra money. The beach wasn’t as good as Bavaro beach but it was still good, they constantly cleaned up the seaweed multiple times a day. The rooms were a bit tired but everything worked. Food was pretty good, buffet and restaurants, coffee shop, all good. The grounds at this resort are immaculate, what a gorgeous property!

Occidental Caribe: Ok resort

The resort overall is ok but the rooms need updating. The à la carte restaurant are good and service was efficient. The entertainment was great but the nightly shows were never on time. Food was ok but most of the time it was cold. Would not go again probably would go for a 5star next time.

Vik Hotel Cayena Beach: Slice of heaven

The Cayena Beach section of this bigger VIK hotel is just great, friendly staff, great food, and the most amazing setup. It's like a Boutique hotel and everything is within a 1 minute walk from your room (Bar restaurant, pool, beach. We loved the peace and quiet. There is some beach erosion, but 1 minute walk gets you around that, and they seem to be trying to fix it as best they can... at worst it is a minor inconvenience. If we go back to Punta Cana, we will be repeat guests.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: resort way to busy...not enough staff to handle cleaning of tables during breakfast and supper...mosquitoes in lobby very bad

rooms were very nice ...grounds and pool and beach area very nice...easy to walk on the beach...vendors were not pushy...should teach staff to comunicate and understand english...all in all not a bad experience., but could have been better

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Nice resort!

The Dreams Onyx is a beautiful resort. It's extremely large and sprawling. The food was good. Few complaints were the bathrooms were not plentiful especially if you chose to relax on the beach, it's quite a walk to the washrooms. A bathroom should be available at the beach bar huts. Staff were mostly nice, few grumps in the bunch. Entertainment was lacking. The only entertainment at night was the theatre entertainment. Nothing in the lobby or other bar area. Elevator was iffy and we were  [... read more]on the third floor, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, so we took the stairs. Seemed to be a great plan for families. We were 4 seniors. We had a relaxing holiday.

Occidental Caribe: Would not recommend

I am not impressed with this resort at all the rooms are so bad that they have leaks and broken safe and fridge and television. The line ups everywhere are just ridiculous. It’s unfortunate that for the first few days there I saw the maintenance man more than the bartender that you have to wait 10-15 minutes for a drink that tastes like garbage. We had blood stains on our sheets When we asked for a new room they said there were none. However when we spoke to others that had near the same issue [... read more]s got a new room and it was upgraded!!!! Not impressed with my vacation at all, I always go to Cuba and someone recommended punta Cana which cost me near 500$ more per person!!! Looks like Cuba is my go to!!

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great value for price!

First time in Punta Cana and it was a great time. Food was awesome, grounds were beautiful and overall it was fun. The rooms were a bit tired - but clean. I would recommend requesting to stay in building 3 or 4 on the club package. It's worth it and those seem to be best location. The beach was nice, waters were wavy and a bit deep- but the sand was cleaned daily!

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Gorgeous Resort

Amazing resort! Stunning grounds, lush, beautiful landscaping. Resort layout, structure, pools etc. well thought out, modern rooms, gorgeous design. Excellent value for the money. Five star. Wonderful coffee. Service top notch.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Resort is Okay

The resort is Okay. Nothing really stands out in my opinion. The rooms was ok, the food is ok but not great. The only way I would book this resort again is if I got an amazing deal. The best part of the resort is the beach.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Good but need more work to return to recover state

I think that both hotel and other services (room especially) need improvement. We went here as we have been before but service is not yet at that level of pre Covid.Room was cleaned but a lot of mosquitoes inside, toilet holder broken, shampo holder didn’t work, tub with stains or damaged, tv hardly could see any program in English. Reception seems very slow and hardly helpt to get any information if needed. We booked with trip central and nexus tour was supposed to complete transfer from airpor [... read more]t to resort and back but they were unreachable no information was provided to us. In the resort was really hard to get coffe and drinks ( beer) because either coffe mascines were not ready or in very small number in restaurants. We had to ask waiters to bring water, coffe or beer and in some cases we hardly get it or got it at the end of meal. Pool was very crowded and hardly could find place to sit unless you wake up early. El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Great resort

Was in the adult section with privelidge up grade. The resort has many areas of interest that will keep you busy ie bowling, sports bar, lazy river which was amazing, plus much more. No problem getting palapas on the beach or around the many pools. The rooms and balconies were a good size clean and tidy. The food was a mixed bag, but always something that would work. The areas that need improvement would to have a descent lounge for the priveledge guests. The adult section needs a bigger v [... read more]ariety of food at its snack bar ie fried chicken hamburgers hot dogs etc for lunches. Other then that I would recommend this resort 5 Star for families and 4 for adults.

Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort: Great adult only resort

Hotel was excellent,beach was large and always easy to find space and chairs,staff were very attentive,secirity kept beach sellers to the outskirts of the beach area,rooms were good,food was good and very easy to find different items by switching locations. Overall great experience

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Good times at Hard Rock Punta Cana

Pros: lots of activities for kids and adults, water park, kids club, kids pool, lots of food and drink options (Zen - Teppanyaki, Toro - Steakhouse, Stacked - burgers, The Split - subs were all great), beach was beautiful and lots of different pools to choose from depending on what vibe you’re interested in, nice, comfortable accommodations (we had a 1 bedroom suite in building 5B), room service is a plus Cons: the lobby area is really loud with music in each different bar/store turned up t [... read more]o full volume and everyone trying to talk over it, the beach is beautiful but the resort faces the Atlantic Ocean so it was really rough. The red flag was out 6 of the 7 days. We didn’t like the hard sell for the “VIP breakfast” after check-in. This is basically them trying to sell you a timeshare. Same thing happened at check out where they were offering a “coupon” for a discounted future stay but they try to pressure you into making a decision 20 minutes before you’re leaving the resort to go home. The minibar is supposed to be restocked each day but we called 4 times, they only came twice. The resort is HUGE so there is lots of walking or waiting for shuttles (the shuttles worked well for us). Food at Ipanema was cold and not very good - that’s the only restaurant I wouldn’t recommend. Watch out for the people on the beach with animals (monkey, parrots, iguana) offering to take pictures. They put the animals on you before saying how much they expect to be paid and then pressure you to pay $120 USD by cash, venmo or PayPal. Overall we really enjoyed our vacation at the Hard Rock Punta Cana!

Karol Kim and I book a trip with you Jan 19/24 till Jan 28/24 to Punta cana Occidental Caribe. It was are first time with Transat and all inclusive very disappointed first they told us the plane would be delayed for 10 minutes after an hour and 30 minutes we finally left they never ask us if we would like to have something to drink. Arriving to the hotel we have to stay in line to registered it took us 1 hour and a half before we got served then the lady at the desk told us to go eat somethin [... read more]g and to come back and then she would give us are room number so we did but when we came back for the second time it took us another 1 hour and a half before getting our room number it was so hot I didn't feel good at all I thought I was going to pass out finally we got are room but the card didn't work go back down stairs wait another 15 minutes Finally go back to the room at this point we we're so exhausted didn't have time to examine the room we went straight to bed. Next day we realize that we didn't have any towels and the room was not too clean. Because we pay extra to upgrade that we were supposed to have beer in the fridge slippers and bathrobe we didn't have nothing like that. Food keep repeating lunch supper was cool no taste I had better food on a cruise. Language barrier they should have more people speak English and French. Very disappointed customer it was our first experience all inclusive and didn't like it at all we did 4 cruises and never been disappointed it would take a miracle for us to do this again. I know nothing will come out of this but I'm sure the media would be interesting to find out about our experience. Very disappointed customers
