Live Aqua Cancun: Mixed feelings
The Staff and the food were excellent, could not ask to be treated any better! The services were excellent as well the exception was the rooms... Our room and the entire hallway leading to our room had a very bad sewer gas smell! They knew about the issue before hand because of all the incense in the hallways which actually became more over powering then the sewer gas smell! We had to keep the door to the bathroom closed at all times just to be able to stay in the room! The rooms were getting ou [... read more]
Riu Palace Pacifico: 4th time here should say it all !!
Like the "smaller feel" to this particular RIU We have been to this property 4 times now and have enjoyed each visit. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is better than average and the Mexican and Japanese fine dining restaurants were our favorite.
Riu Flamingos: Great facility, ocean not so.
Very good, organized, clean, professional staff, great food... , Ocean had waves all the time with a lot of seaweed, unfortunately. Beach should have more shaded areas, $10/day for umbrella is extra expense people don't need.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: I could be to harsh?!?!?
If you like to snorkel the variety of fishes will amaze you... The Resort is too big and there is a huge difference in service and food from one hotel to the next. The a la carte Restaurants are not the best except the Mexican Restaurant (great food and service). The room was clean but the way the service comes in waves( 9:00 am towels are taken, 11:00 new towels and 12:00-13:00 floors and beds) is not so friendly. Do not disturb sign was missing and I could not use it. The beach is nice but the [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing Home Away from Home
Fantastic resort, great value, friendly staff, good food and drinks. All around great resort. My wife and I going back again in October for our 9'th visit. Have been going there on average every 8 months for number of years now. have tried a couple of other resorts but keep coming back here. They always make us feel like we are at home and we and to us this is our cottage. It is a larger resort composed of 3 larger resorts basically rolled into one. There is a good shuttle system to get you arou [... read more]
Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Amazing Resort!!!!! :)
This resort has something for everyone!!! My wife and I took our second trip to this resort last June for 1 week for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The resort made my wife and I feel very special. When we came back form the pool, they had put a bottle of wine in the room and a note wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the very large swimming pools. The food is amazing and very well portioned with great flavour. The drinks were awesome!! Our room was very clean. There [... read more]
Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Sandos Playacar
This was our first all-inclusive experience so I really don't have anything to compare it with. We went as a couple and decided against going to an "adults only" as we didn't think it really mattered. The problem was that everywhere we were at Sandos Playacar we were thinking about how much the kids would enjoy everything they have to offer. The crepe station, the animals, the beach and pools, the biking, the cupcake shop, the games…We would love to return just to see our three kids enjoy it. [... read more]
Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: A Fabulous Hotel
This hotel was well beyond my expectations, the staff was excellent ,the food at the buffet and a la carte was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff goes out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
Viva Maya by Wyndham: Wonderful Resort
This was our second time at this resort. We chose vip and it was well worth it. Besides having a ground floor that was oceanfront we had our own space to sit with comfortable loungers. The food at the buffet was always delicious with lots of variety. The Mexican restaurant was our favourite a la carte. The food was delicious and they had wonderful staff. The shows every night had a theme and the entertainment staff works so hard to provide wonderful shows and dancing and singing. They also keep [... read more]

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Absolutely wonderful
The Royal Decameron in Mexio is very clean, safe and truly a deal for your money. Several restaurants to choose from, always a chair on the beach and wonderful nightly entertainment. My wife and I will surely return!
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Keep going back again and again
This resort has it all. The beaches, the access to the other hotels in the chain, the service, very clean, friendly, fantastic food, friendly staff, they look after your every need, I have been to this hotel nine times in the past five years and will go again this year
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: resort was very nice
the rooms are a little outdated and could use a refresher - dining was ok - the grounds were lovely - very disappointed in the beach area - we're use to blue water and beautiful beaches at the Mayan - consequently we didnt go in the ocean :(
Grand Sunset Princess: Fantastic resort
Resort is huge. But easy to get around with the trolley system. The pools are amazing and the pools and grounds are kept so immaculate. The staff are friendly and the food good. The ocean and the beach are great and never had a problem getting a lounger. The bar on the beach could be bigger or have two bars are more waiters for the beach area. Loved the resort.
Grand Sunset Princess: If you're a beach lover, think twice!
The hotel is large and manicured very well, food was decent but had real issues with lack of space on the beach and the rude beach security guards. You can't go past a certain area on the beach with your chairs and this is extremely monitored closely. If you're a beach lover and enjoying spreading out so that you've got some space between you and the people next to you, I would strongly urge you to go elsewhere.
The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Excellent Resort
Excellent resort, staff very friendly and helpful. Very child friendly. Food and service in all restaurants very good. Highly recommended. All staff work hard to make your stay memorable. Taxi to/from Playa Del Carmen was OK but returning driver got lost!
Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Amazing Resort!
Our 2nd time at Hotel Castillo - my husband & I loved it! Quaint & Cozy - not too busy so you can relax - lots of locals! Close to everything - Marina, Village, etc. $5 Taxi to Larger town - Shuttle to Beach Club always on time!!
Catalonia Yucatan: amazing time
Very friendly staff..clean..beautiful view..great food..love the water..great activities..options on wat to eat were overwhelming..so much to do..worth the price..miss it already..would definitely go there again
Costa Club Punta Arena: Nice resort, super friendly staff.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are some of the nicest ones I have met. Special mention to Wendy in the Dining room and the pool and entertainment folks, Ricardo, Lupita ,Victor and Joaquin. Grounds are beautifully kept.
El Dorado Seaside Palms: Good Resort
Stayed at El Dorado Seaside for 4 days July 13-17. Hotel room was very nice with a large bed and large jacuzzi tub. We had a personal concierge who was extremely good. The highlight was a beach supper we received for free after a timeshare presentation. While we were at supper our room was prepared with flower petals on the bed and in the jacuzzi. A very nice touch for our 30th wedding anniversary. There were a few negatives however. The beach is nice but once you enter the water it is quite roc [... read more]
