Dreams Riviera Cancun: Mixed feelings...not a 5 star

Hotel is nice, grounds are clean & staff are wonderful. We sought out Carlos' service area at the pool, he's amazing and always smiling. However, attention is required with food which is rather bland with little variety. Dirty room service trays from other rooms left out for hours. We paid for an oceanview room which was limited at best and we opted to pay even more to upgrade a few days in to our trip. Transition to new room was challenging though.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Clean, Quiet, and Gorgeous

Best resort I been to so far. I am looking forward to going back again this year. Property - New, clean, and absolutely stunning. Staff - Everyone was friendly (Except only two females at reception) Golf - It says free (You have to pay for an expensive cart = Catch) Beach - Gorgeous (You have to travel a few minutes by shuttle. The shuttles run every 5-15 minutes if that.) There are activities on the beach and a decent location for snorkeling. Entertainment - They have excellent entertainers tha [... read more]t perform at the hotel. Most of the resort shuts down around 11. The other resorts within the chain has a night club and a casino. FOOD - Impressed - Everything and anything - Access to All the other resorts and what they have to offer. The a la cart are pretty good as well. You must try the two located within Sian Ka'an. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing yet fun time this is the place for you.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: my first time in Cabo, but not my last!

this is by far the smallest resort I've ever stayed at. Wasn't sure what to expect but we absolutely LOVED it. Only two areas to eat but both were very good! I was pleasantly surprised at the buffet given that it wasn't huge how great it was! Pools were stunning and mega clean. We had an ocean view room which we were thankful for as the bulk of the rooms face the inside circle of the resort which is where everything is siutated, so a little less privacy and definetely more noise. Everyone that w [... read more]orked there was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff were a hoot. Always trying to get people to do something (not bugging!) and there was stuff always going on. WE used the gym as well which was immaculate but small scale to fit the resort. Beach was great to walk on for miles. walked to town. walked to starbucks. Only issue really was wifi. My husband was in the midst of signing a work contract. They were great at the front desk, letting him use their computer, scanner and faxing for us. No charge! Definetely would recommend. Great place.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Return Trip Guaranteed!!

We visited the Gran Caribe Real in March 2014, it was amazing!! Right from the first day I could see that this was going to be an awesome trip. The place was beautiful, and the staff were all so amazing. We got a beachfront walkout room, and I have to say this was the closest to the beach of any place that we've ever stayed, literally on the beach. It was amazing, I don't think either of us ever spent so much time at the beach on any trip before this. The spa experience was perfect, Maria and Letti were our regulars, and gave the most amzing massage ever. Our room category also included access to the Hyatt Zilara next door, this place was so beautiful. The facilities there were a bit more high end I must say. The food at the buffet restuarant there was delicious, and the service was top shelf. I wish I could remember the guys name that made my girlfriend the specialty coffe, it was a show in itself watch him pour the flaming liquor, truly a sight to see. The gym there was very nice, lots of equipment, and nice and cool to workout. Needless to say, this has become our favorite amongst all the places we've been to date. Ever since we've been home we constantly talk about our next trip back there, and have already started planning it now. I hate to wish time away, but we are anxious to get back to this beautiful property again!! Stephanie from Trip Central, you done us right again :)

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Amazing.

Very nice huge resort with beautiful long beach with palm trees, so you don’t need to fight for spots with a bit of the shade. Hotel is very well mainted. Plenty of spaces to stroll among beautiful Mayan sculptures. Food, staff, night entertiment-excellent. The best splash pad for kids we have seen so far. Good snorkelling spot at the right side of the beach. Cenotes to see, are right across the hotel. We highly recommend this resort.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: The place to be.

Modern style architecture resort. Beautifull beach with an island with a resemblence of the Mayan ruins on it. An excellent place to snorkel right on the beach, you can see a variety of fish, reef and even turtles. Choice of different pools including the one immersed in the tropical forest. Very relaxing, long lazy river that we were using a couple of times per day. The resort is huge, requires some walking to the restaurants which worked for us (shuttle provided). Many restaurants a la carte. V [... read more]ery good food, very friendly and smiled staff, resort is run by Mayans. Very good, profesional night entertiment. Resort is well placed, close to Riviera Maya attractions like Xplore, Tulum etc. Rooms known to us have bathrooms divided from bedroom by frosted glass with some slots in it, which may be a concern for families with kids. During our stay, the only draw back was if you want to have a sun with the piece of shade, you have to “fight” for a lawn chair early in the day, as most of them, in spite of present signs, are reserved by towels, the bad practice known to other places. We visit the Caribbean frequently, always choosing different hotels, but if we would like to repeat it, the Sirenis is the number one to be.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Wonderful

I loved this hotel due to its size. Service was great and staff was very polite and accommodating. Our room was more then I could ask for. The maid kept it spotless and our roof top lounge area for us only was the cake topper. My husband and I will definitely make this place our first resort to choose from when we want a place to rest and a scuba vacation.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Perfect Smaller Resort

-we loved this resort, the food was great and has good variety. it is a smaller resort but it was fantastic with beautiful grounds, great pools, very safe, very clean & friendly staff. close to airport which was nice too. we will definitely return!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Just Ok!!!

The spa was the best part of the resort. The grounds of the resort were nice but the beds were awful and there was no privacy in the bathroom. There was a big window inbetween the room and the bathroom and only a glass door to the toilet. There was jacuzzi tubs but they took over an hour to fill up. The entertainment was not very good so other than outside excursions there was not much to do. We were harassed the entire time by the staff to go on the tour to the premium side of the resort which  [... read more]they claim will take 90 mintues. It took 4 hours....They then try to sell you a time share kinda thing for a premium room when you come the those resorts. Total rip off and waste of time. The food was ok. I have been on better trips for sure. Oh and the service sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Nice resort but huge!

Beautiful and well kept resort. Lots of lush landscape and clean beach. Pools are kept very clean. Food is very good, especially the beach restaurant and the drinks are top shelf. On the downside, the resort is large and its very easy to get lost on the paths and the bridges. Very little nightlife here but you are a close cab ride to Playa Del Carmen which has tons of clubs.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Great Family Vacation

We travelled in Feb 2014 with my family. There was 11 of us, 8 adults & 3 children. The food was great, the beach was fabulous. The resort was HUGE but had something for everyone! It was a great trip & would go back again.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Vacation Spot!

Very clean facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating at pool area and lots of fun activities. Plenty of variety at restaurant buffets. Beach was well groomed. Be sure to book water activities early.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing vacation

We were there in march for a week and it was an absolute amazing trip. The resort was great. The grounds were extremely clean, the staff was friendly, there were always chairs by the pool, the food was great. I can't say anything bad about the resort at all.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Amazing vacation!!

We travelled as a family for a wedding. The resort ended up being much more than anything we had imagined! There was something for everyone!! The staff were fabulous! The rooms were comfortable, clean and beautiful! The food was wonderful. We actually enjoyed the buffets the most! We would definately return!!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Adult Only Resort

Quiet, clean and friendly. The rooms were very modern and clean. Well kept grounds with very friendly staff. With multiple pools there is one for whatever you want to do. Swim and splash. Sit waist deep and read. The food in the main buffet was amazing. Never needed to worry about finding something to eat. Great variety. The dessert bar was heavenly and the fresh fruit was tasty. Great place to go if you are just looking to relax.

Riu Yucatan: sunshine galore

Rooms were good, resort was always clean and landscape was well laid out and well taken care of. Restaurants were fine the Italian restaurant was a favourite. The nightly entertainment could use some work.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing resort

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There choice of food was endless. Even the most picky eaters will find something to satisfy their hunger. The staff were friendly and always very helpful. Our first trip to an all inclusive and we will defiantly come back to this one.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: clean

Was overbooked when we got there Feb 19, 2014. They gave us 1000 pecos to spend a night in another hotel and shuttled us there and back. The only reason we went is because there was little kids that would have had to go. We stayed at a stinky suite that was a time share in Puerto Vallarta. We were told that we should be back by noon and a room would be available, it wasn't. We had to wait until 3:00. Wasted our 1st day completely. Will never be persuated again.

Oasis Tulum: Beautiful Resort right on the ocean

The main part of the resort was very nice, it was located right on the beach. The area we stayed in was located a ten minute walk from the main resort. This was not indicated to us at any time when we were making our travel arrangements. This started our vacation off on a negative note. My husband and I would go back if we could stay on the main part of the resort but the teenage children found it lacked things for them to do.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: TOP NOTCH!!!

EXCELLENT FOOD. WE TRIED MOST OF THE RESTAURANTS AND DID NOT HAVE A MEAL WE DIDN'T ENJOY . THE STEAKS ARE SECOND TO NONE. THE BEDS AND LINENS ARE SO COMFORTABLE YOU WON'T WANT TO GET UP! WE REALLY ENJOYED THE COFFEE BAR-VISITED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES A DAY.WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR STAY AND LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING.
