El Dorado Seaside Palms: Great Resort for Couples

The facilities, staff and service were all fantastic. Food at each restaurant was good, and really enjoyed lunch at the beach bbq place. We stayed in the newer wing with a swim up bar and day bed on the patio - very relaxing. When I can order a cocktail while jumping into a pool and re-surface from the plunge to see it at my finger tips, I want to cry just a little.

Riu Flamingos: Beautiful resort, food has something to be desired

The resort was beautiful. Staff was amazing. Food was very bland. I had some chicken that wasn't completely done. 1st peice was really good, 2nd piece was half cooked. They had a good variety of fish but I don't like fish. More meat selection would be great. Loved the bread section, was amazing. A la carte restaurants were really good. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: amazing experience, gorgeous resort, polite staff

Clean, clean, clean. Choices of places to eat abundant! Food excellent. Beach was fun (activities) and clean, picturesque, rooms big. Liked that we could go from one resort to another. Great tram service. Can't say enough about this vaca. Will go back for sure!

The Pyramid Cancun: Best of both worlds

The resort was a nice first time stay for Mexico. You had lots of time to relax and have a good time in the evening as well. The staff was on top of everything and helped out whenever needed. They had performances during the evening for all age groups and beautiful views from our suite. I would absolutely go again.

Riu Santa Fe: This resort is slipping

This used to be one of our favorite places in Mexico but now like other Riu resorts they are dumping their room cheap to locals but of course there were very few locals in the Los Cabos area so they found the American University crowd, who's only ambition seems to be to get drunk and have a good time at no matter what the cost to anyone else! Sadly when the students arrive the quality of everything departs food becomes very poor drinks get weaker noise levels go through the roof and the pools un [... read more]tenable, sad to say we will not likely return, a shame, this is not to blame the students rather the Riu chains not being able to understand the needs of their various clients.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: iberostar paraiso beach - great resort

Resort was extremely friendly, fun and easy to navigate, despite its size. Grounds and hotel itself was exceptionally clean. Staff from housekeeping, servers and entertainers were committed to your needs. Only complaint I may have had was the need for increased evening entertainment other than nightly shows. The billard room and sports bar was run down and musty smelling. Couldn't sit in there for long. Food was excellent with so many choices of different ethnic foods on every evening. I would definetly consider returning to this resort. They spoiled us!

Catalonia Yucatan: Great place to stay

This is a lovely resort and the Maya area is just bustling with things to do . I like the medium scale of the place compared with some of the larger resorts that require a golf cart to get around. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Restaurants carried and tasty. The sushi chef does a great show. I travelled as a single and made so many friends. Barcelo Huatulco: Beautiful Resort

The hotel was compact (great for mobility challanged), absolutely beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was great, particularily in the speciality restaurants. Area appeared safe, shops in hotel and across the road.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Worth it!

My wife and I had our much-belated honeymoon at the resort and truly enjoyed ourselves. The food was plentiful and varied for all tastes and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Returning many times including this December.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort

The resort was very nice and very big! The beach a akumal was nice fun looking down and seeing fish swimming in the water . Food was good, service was great and the margaritas were excellent . I would go back again

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Everything you could want!

Beautiful property with all the amenities. The tour guides were awesome, very helpful and always available. Really good cleaning staff at work to keep the common areas well kept. Good food, good drink, good staff .... what more could you ask?

El Cozumeleno Beach: Lovely Resort

My husband and I traveled to the El Cozumeleno the first week of March. The resort is close to the airport check in was very fast. Our room was on the 4th floor of the older section it was wonderful. Very large rooms, although the first couple of days the air conditioner was loud. The ocean view from our room was stunning.We preferred the older section as it was quieter with what we felt was the nicer beach. The food at this resort was hit and miss. Breakfast was always good, lunch was alright.  [... read more]If you wanted a good meal eating in the a la carte is the best choice. You can make reservations easily each morning. One of the main reasons we choose this hotel was how close it is to town. Having dinner in San Migual was great. The snorkeling right in front of the hotel was fun lots to see if you walked to the left on the hotel for 10 minutes you can let the currant push you slowly back and enjoy the sights. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We would definitely return.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Fantastic Vacation

The restaurants are amazing. I like that you do not need to make reservations and you can just go. The only draw back is you have to go and stand in line if you want the usual 7:00 seating. If you don't mind going later, there's no problem. The food is fantastic, plentiful, and the service is great. Our room was Awesome. HUGE, modern, heated floors, right by the VIP pool, and cleaned by very accommodating and cheerful cleaning staff. The beach is in its natural state which I appreciate. Snorkell [... read more]ing right off the beach to the peer is amazing... who needs to pay for it. However, if you do want to taking a snorkelling trip, the reefs in Cozumel are the best I've seen... especially scuba diving. I would definitely go back. The staff could not do enough for us and always had a smile on their face. I have nothing bad to say about this place... absolutely nothing! Oh yes, don't forget the spa... it was part a Valentine's gift and the staff made sure we had a very romantic Valentine's evening.

Las Palmas by the Sea: My 4th time, so it's like being at home

You can tell a good place to stay , when the staff shows little turnover. That's just one example at Las Palmas. My room was clean and comfortable with a balconey so looking over the ocean in Mexico when it's a minus 65 windchill back home can't be bad. Staff in all areas very accomodating , but that comes after having been there so often. I LIKE the food too..lots of variety and the SOUPS were to die for. I do wish there was less smoking but that's Mexico. The Beach is just three steps down and a 45 minute walk on the Sand to the harbour and Wal-Mart. Plenty of Bank Machines to get pesos using your Debit card makes getting cash very easy. The walk downtown is about a half hour or 5 minues by the little blue buses. Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: A good resort

Overall it is a very good resort. The bad points are the pool is not heated,the food is just average plus. Warm rooms at night. Good points A great location. Some may argue because of the distance from Puerto Vallarta but that's what we wanted. Great location to go and explore the neighboring communities.Excellent staff. Morning walks on an empty beach.Good spa. Comfortable rooms.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Ok resort

The Resort grounds were beautiful. Rooms were nice. Had a room near the beach. The resort is very large and you have to do a lot of walking to get anywhere. The beach was nice but over crowded. They have carts to give you a ride around the resort but can be a long wait to get a ride. Quicker most time to walk. I was really disappointed in the food. I found the buffet not to have a lot of choice and was not really great. It was hard to find something to eat that had any flavor. I have been to oth [... read more]er Iberostars and the food was really great but this place really disappoint me. Service was ok and most of the staff were great. The lobby Bar had the best service. The beach bar and snack bar was not so great. They didn't open by the time posted, always late to open which really upset me when the Lindo next door was open 2 hours before but we couldn't use it. Asked front desk for an upgrade bracelet to use services at the lindo but was told no. The pool was nice but did not use, because I prefer the beach. I would not return to this resort because of food and service. I had better food in Cuba.

Tesoro Manzanillo: great family resort

My family had a great time. the food the beach was great and the people friendly.I would recommend this hotel to all the families and it will be better if you speak Spanish so this way there are not issues.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Awesome Resort

First time in Mexico, and loved it, clean and friendly. Loved, Loved the Grand Palladium, very clean, super staff and most of all they had hand sanitizer in the buffet before u entered in and they changed out the cutlerly every so often, for us this was big. Lots to do and will go back again. Thanks to ALL THE STAFF WHO MADE OUR TRIP SOO ENJOYABLE D & T from N.S. Canada

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Great time!

Almost stayed another week! Room was beautiful - tours were fun. Kids loved it. Staff friendly. Beach next door was long and sandy. Hotel beach not very big or useable. Crocodiles within walking distance. Entertaining shows. Bus to town outside hotel. Massages down the beach - 20$ each. Kids waterpark not at this hotel but able to go to neighbour hotel. It is enclosed so parents either go in or stand and watch. Only went once. Our hotel was nicer. Good kids club.
