Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Brand new resort with amazing view and staff
Everything was amazing. Food was great quality and staff all around the resort was superb. Lots of choices of restaurants. And decor I was going to steal cuz it was so cool. Not packed the week we went which was nice. Bit far away from town but it was fine with us. Taxi was expensive to the next town 15 mins away. Staff were excellent bringing drinks to the pool and beach. Recommend the bar at the beach and the burger and fries It was more money that we wanted to spend but so worth it. The view [... read more]
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: amazing experience
This hotel was great .. the rooms were comfortable and cleaned everyday. The staff was very nice and polite. Food was good, and there was lots of variety and alll sorts of resterants. The french resterant was the BEST! I would definitely go back to the blue bay
Samba Vallarta: Very Relaxing
We have travelled to Mexico over 30 times and enjoy staying at different hotels each time. We were very pleased with this quiet and intimate resort. Even though it was an older hotel , we preferred it to the mega hotels were we feel that we just become a dollar sign to the hotel. The rooms were very clean and quite comfortable, the pools were fantastic with supplying an abundance of areas and chairs for the sunbathers. as was the bar service. The food was very good with a selection of traditiona [... read more]
Paradisus Los Cabos: Nice resort
Food was amazing never bored of the buffet, theme nights were great. Loved the pottery paintng bye the pool also loved the fact it wasn't just for kids. Hotel staff were friendly and great. The rooms however were a little dated, need a little love.
Grand Sunset Princess: Sunset Princess Is A Beautiful Resort
If you like lush green gardens and polished marble floors then this is the place for you! Although there are a few places that look a little tired and in need of attention this resort has it all! This was my second time at this resort and we splurged to have a swim out room. Best idea ever and worth the money as it was a treat to be able to walk out of the room and directly off the balcony into the very clean and expansive pool. Beach was great although there were a few areas that were rocky but [... read more]
Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Peace and good food
If you are tired of noisy resorts and large crowds, you might enjoy this place. There are few activities other than yoga and golf, but the food and service are excellent, and if you have a busy life at home you can unwind here and feel pampered.
Riu Palace Peninsula: Impressive Hotel, First rate Food, Fun, Friendly..
Impressive Hotel, First rate Food, Fun, Friendly guests from around the world are all impressed with the unique architecture of this magnificent building... Amazing view of the peninsula. Most people would have no problem returning to this paradise in Cancun.
Riu Santa Fe: Great place!
Food offerings were great. I liked the buffet better than all the a la carts. Lots of pools and bars to choose from depending on your mood. Didn't have a problem finding lounge chairs most days. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice walk along to beach to town.
Dreams Huatulco: wonderful vacation
hotel was impeccably clean, very friendly staff, amazing views overlooking Tangoluka bay. You could not ask for better weather. It was sunny and hot every day. The resort is nicely situated on the calmer side of the bay, with a gentle breeze blowing most days. Food and beverages were top notch.
Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Exceeded Expectations!!
The resort was beautifully manicured, the pools were excellent and the staff were very friendly!! You could just relax if you wanted or indulge in many activities that the resort offered. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The food was very good, we never had an issue any day there was also a great selection everyday. The only downside was that you were not supposed to go into the ocean due to rip tides, but the beach was absolutely beautiful for a daily walk. It was also convenien [... read more]
Zel Cozumel: SO VERY PLEASED!
What a beautiful location. This hotel came highly recommended by our financial planner and she was 'right on the money'. Clean, open to the ocean, WHITE, soft sand. Fabulous view from our quiet 11th story suite. Food was not outstanding - but it met our needs. One of the biggest 'sell' points for us was the 10 minute proximity to the International Airport - none of that frustrating 2-3 hour 'stop at every hotel' ride. We stayed at the adult side of the resort - good choice for us.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: great adult only resort
Lovely hotel with helpful staff and wonderful food. If you want to be near the ocean this is not the resort to stay. 10 min little train ride to beach and then once there no place to sit, no chairs and wall to wall people. If you want a quiet resort with good pools and great service then you will enjoy this resort.
Marquis Los Cabos: Amazing Trip
My Husband and I had an amazing trip it was truly a trip of a life time!! The food was excellent the resort was clean and the service was outstanding!!! We even booked a deep sea fishing trip and let me tell you that was incredible!!!!! We caught so many fish (big) and we even caught a shark but unfortunately the line snapped and we lost it but what a fight!!!!! All the rooms face the ocean so every morning and afternoon you would sea whales splashing around that was also. Coming into the marin [... read more]
Grand Sunset Princess: Great resort
Rooms were clean, bathrooms fabulous, great food at the buffets. Wifi worked in our room but was an additional charge of $70 for the week. Nice disco, great pool areas so you could decide if you wanted the party pool or not. Beach was a bit rocky in the water, and definitely hard to find a place, pool was almost as difficult to find place to sit and reserve chairs. They being drinks to you at the pool and beach though. Great night shows, fabulous grounds. Overall would go there again. May not be [... read more]
Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Can be excellent with some tweaks
The hotel, pool, beach were excellent. Very clean except for one bathroom which remained covered in vomit for our week stay. Food was good, good variety. Staff were a hit and miss. We had a few waiters who would cater to you as soon as you arrived in dining room. No real open snack area. You had to sit at an outdoor restaurant to order snack. Alcohol was also hit and miss. One day you could have daquaris, the next day they didn't have rum. Premium alcohol was limited and by mid week, not available [... read more]
Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: second time
While the resort had changed somewhat in 10 years I luv this place for the relaxed fun atmosphere created by the energetic staff and of course no little kids. The food is great too. Sure there is entertainment offered in the evening which is worth the look if you're feeling like you're looking for something to do but I wouldn't say it was a highlight of our trip. The resort overbooked so our reservation at the resort for the first night was spent elsewhere and while they did upgrade us it was an [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Excellent Resort
Food, drinks, rooms all excellent. Lots of wildlife and walking. Peacocks were a bit of a nuisance when they "crowed" early in the morning . Highly recommend this resort . Great pools, something for everyone.
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa: Great Getaway!
Resort offered a 5 star feel with a 4 star price. Food was unique and fresh. Loved the 24 hour room service. Resort was quiet which we loved. Sister property sharing opportunities were also wonderful and should not be missed. A great vacation!
Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: Great location
Not fancy but great staff, clean rooms, WiFi, good food, on the beach within the town and 5 minute walk to the Malacon. Separate kids pool and fairly quiet adult pool. Incredible restaurants surrounding the area. Families and LGBT welcomed !
Canto Del Sol: Very nice resort
The Hotel was great, however the beach was not much of a beach. Too small. The staff at the hotel made up for it though. It was nice that you could walk around the town in the evening. It felt safe. The A/C in the room was quite noisy. I needed earplugs to sleep.
