Melia Habana: Amazing Hotel
The Melia Habana has a great pool, beautiful lobby bar, great restaurants and an amazing cigar store. There is an excellent Café which serves delicious ice cream, offering a variety of flavours. If you wish to eat out, the Concierge will give recommendations, book the reservations and arrange for taxi service. There is a bus providing free transportation to Old Havana several times a day. Comfortable beds, great service and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel when staying in Havana. .
Melia Las Dunas: Beautiful Resort with lush tropical landscaping!
The hotel is well maintained and clean. The outside walkways between buildings are beautifully landscaped with all the fowering bushes and trees. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The food I would give 2/5 rating at the buffet and sad rating of 0/5 for all of the a la carte restaurants. We would not eat the food and would end up going to the buffet afterwards. The only exception was the lobster dinner which was an additonal 22 cucs. But it was well worth it When we arrived [... read more]

Melia Habana: Fabulous hotel & located on the water
Very elegant hotel, superbly maintained, with a great pool, fitness centre, bar, restaurant and cigar store. The staff were very enthusiastic and gifted in serving our needs such as making reservations at restaurants in Havana and arranging excursions.
Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing getaway
Melia Cayo Coco is a beautiful resort. The grounds are always immaculately kept. The rooms have all the amenities you need, they are clean and well maintained through your stay. The buffet always has something for everyone The restaurants were incredible (I’m vegan) They made special meals for me on the nights I visited. The beach is spectacular, my favourite place. The best part of this resort is the people that work there, friendly, welcoming and always greeting you with a smi [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Melia Caya Coco, Cuba
Stayed for 1 week from Nov 17 to the 25th. The accommodations we had was the Grand Premium Lagoon View. The suite was clean and very nice with an incredible terrace and view of the sunrise from our room. It is well worth the upgrade because the view is spectacular, quiet and private compared to the rest of the accommodations. Nice to have English TV stations as well. The grounds are nice and everything is close by. The swimming pool is excellent but could use some more additional umbrellas for [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Wonderful hotel
Have been to this hotel before and enjoyed the activities they have added. Great medical staff onsite. Warm and friendly staff always willing to help. Good food selection. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Quiet Cuban Getaway
We've visited this resort many times and the location is lovely. Unfortunately, this time we noticed a decline in the resort and to sum it up, it looks tired. The pool chairs are in need of replacement, and in several places the lighting on the grounds is not working, especially on the steep stairs up from the beach. The food was better than in the past but typical of Cuba - some days you have lettuce, some days you don't. The one thing that makes up for a great deal is the relations [... read more]
Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing resort!!!!
Nothing but AMAZING!!! We liked everything about it. The beach was absolutely gorgeous - wide with white send like a powder. Ground of the hotel beautiful with lots of palm trees. All staff very friendly. All of them speaking good English. We would go back for sure ;)
Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing week!!
Had an amazing week. The resort was clean and maintained, room cleaned every day. Enjoyed the fact that they have a 24 hours snack bar and lobby bar. Beach was cleaned and cleaned up every morning. Food was delicious and something for everyone, even for my youngest who is very picky.
Hotel Vigia: Return Visit
Just returned, some changes from last year. The grounds are nice as usual and Beach is cleaned of seaweed every couple of days. Hotel not too busy so food choices a bit more restrictive. Rooms being painted, some need work still. Overall for the price we paid it was ok. Service was fantastic and our maid took excellent care of us.
Hotel Vigia: The staff makes this a great resort to visit, many repeat customers.
This was my 4 time at Sol Cayo Guillermo, yes this is one of the oldest resorts in the area and does show its age . Rework in areas are being done, my room had just been painted before my visit, the main buffet restaurant was closed for painting and rework so all meals were at the ocean side al la cart restaurant, so not all the normal facilities were available such as pasta station/pizza etc. The resort grounds are in great shape, everywhere, the gardeners work wonders. The front desk staff are [... read more]
Melia Peninsula Varadero: Good resort overall
Beautiful property- well maintained lawns and beaches. The food was quite good. Children's club quite good and the entertainment was great. Overall a good experience. A few negatives. The first night I checked in, my room had absolutely no hydro - a technician came by 3 times and still no hydro. I was moved the next day to a room located near where my family were staying. There was water on the floor and an effort was made to make sure it didn't happen again, but the toilet needed to [... read more]
Melia Las Americas: Great Resort
The resort was kept clean and tidy. The grounds were manicured. Buffet was great, lots of variety. Alla cart restaurants were some of the best I have been to in Cuba. Room was nice, we would have liked a King bed instead of the 2 mattresses together to make a King. First time in 10 trips to Cuba I have played golf. Great location next to the Varadero Golf club. Great value $33.00 CUC for 1/2 cart and 18 holes of golf. Course in nice condition. Lots of scenic holes along side the ocean.
Melia Las Dunas: Relaxing Safe Resort
Beautiful beach Safe walks on the beach between resorts Lots of activities Large resort area Friendly resort staff Amazing coffee Nice rooms Especially nice large washrooms with bidet Beautiful large entrance with lots of seating areas
Hotel Vigia: Incredible experience
We loved the staff, they were So friendly and made you feel welcome We didn’t have any complaints about any part of our trip. The entertainment was a lot of fun to watch and participate in We can’t wait to go back.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Peaceful resort
We paid for the Royal Service, and were happy that we did so. This provided us with a butler who arranged everything for us, from specialty dinners to tours. Any questions or problems were promptly addressed by her. The Royal Service also gave us access to an exclusive dining room for all meals, and to a pool that is 1/4 km in length, great for swimming lengths. Out suite was spacious and had two bathrooms and a separate sitting room. The grounds are nicely landscaped and the beach is readily [... read more]
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Quite good
My stay at the Paradisus Princesa Del Mar was overall quite good. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful and the beach was magnificent. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the pool. It was relatively small compared to the loads of other Cuban resorts I've stayed at and it was always crowded, packed and loud. Not at all the relaxing environment I had hoped for. So I spent most of my time at the beach and eventually paid for a couple of nights of royal service just to be [... read more]
Hotel Camino del Mar: Melia Cayo Guillermo Is My New Cuban Home
I have been travelling to Cuba for a number of years now to enjoy some the great scuba diving there. During this time, I have really come to appreciate and rely on the quality of service at the Melia chain of resorts. Recently I stayed at Melia Cayo Guillermo and was very impressed on all counts. The resort is a smaller resort that leaves you wanting for nothing but because everything is close, it becomes very convenient and relaxing. The grounds are well taken care of and if there is an [... read more]
