Hotels needs renovation. Food was good. Rooms are clean. Location is excellent. Services are good. Bars need some music. Did not like locals during weekend's in a dining room they made mess and don't care about other guest.

Playa Costa Verde: Great Resort

This is my second time at PCV and it didn’t disappoint me. I normally wouldn’t go to the same hotel but am very comfortable with the staff. They are pleasant and always willing to go beyond. The beach is beautiful, rooms are good size and clean, the food is hit and miss as is known for Cuba. The alacart restaurants are very nice but the are booked quickly. I would recommend PCV.

tripcentral doing a great job nice to have coupons for hotel and parking we have been to this hotel five times it has really deteriorated since our first time it seems like the management doesn't care about the people working there there is less of everything for them to work with there is not even enough silverware to go around. at one point of our stay after a big influence of guest we had to wait in line for the buffet(not enough servers and dishes) people and us were being told Cubans are  [... read more]allowed to stay at the hotel since last year and we should take a back seat since it is there country, this was said from a assistant manager. for us we love Cuba we love the people but going back to this hotel probably NOT. it is really too bad we have a lot of special friends there cooks servers just people in the resort.going back to cuba for sure juergen

I like the hot sun and the wind at this resort I need to exercise a lot because of my heart condition and wish this resort is equipped with bicycle so I can move around or explore the surroundings of this resort.

Playa Pesquero: Beautiful Beach and pool

The hotel is approx an hour’s drive from the airport. On arrival at hotel, greeted well at reception. One can get lost in this hotel. It is quite a large complex. The rooms are very big; the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub.The pool and beach are beautiful. Lots of chairs...no need to reserve your chair. Lots of activities. The food is average Cuban resort fare. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. The nightly entertainment is mediocre.

Brisas Covarrubias: So so

It was good but in returns i lost my staff from baggage some one stolen but i don't know who is reponsable for that is tow time i went to cuba some things happen only for me and the hotel is was far from city

Sol Turquesa Beach: Wonderful Time

This resort is nicely spread out and great for walking. Spacious hotel room, which must have been recently updated. Everything worked well. Grounds are lovely and well-kept. Service was good everywhere. Limited choice of food, probably due to the fact that occupancy is very low at this time of year. Drawback: Buffet Dining room was not air-conditioned, therefore, temperature was too warm for the food that was displayed - occasionally saw small flies above the food. Diamond Club had a designated  [... read more]area on the beach, but I feel that the beach area should be for all the guests, no matter whew they sit. Brought this issue up with the Sunwing rep and Customer Relations. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely return to this resort.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Swimming Heaven

I love this place in spite of the food. Some of the A La Carte restaurants were actually quite decent. Forget the buffet, especially if you are health conscious about sodium. Fresh unadorned cooked vegetables are truly scarce. Bonus points for lovely presentation. They really try. World class beach, kind people, beautiful landscaping, comfy rooms. I feel safe there.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: back for a second time round!

Back for a second time round!, Stayed in plus side newer rooms. Rooms excellent. Staff always friendly. Food good. Traveled May 8th. so resort was under populated. Ale carts were reduced to one venue and one choice per night. I had to insist after we were told lobster was fully booked, then was accommodated.

Playa Pesquero: Good vacation, huge resort

Very large resort so be prepared to walk ...... a lot. Average food, great beach, nice large pool. We went in down-season (June) so resort was at about half capacity with several restaurants closed and lower staff levels. Be cautious of fresh meats at cooking stations - we saw several guests come down with e-coli food poisoning while we were there.

Playa Pesquero: Super Hotel

The grounds of this hotel are well maintained, clean and the pool is cleaned every day. The rooms are a good size, cleaned each day and fridge stocked. If you need anything the maids are always around to help. They also do great designs with the towels and leave on the bed each day. Cannot say enough about the waiters & waitresses, they go out of their way to make sure you have a drink in your hands at all times. Also the buffet restaurant the food is always made fresh & hot, if you cannot  [... read more]find something all you have to do is ask & someone will make sure you get it. Amazing spa also can't say enough about the service there went for a massage amazing. We love this hotel will definitely go back.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great getaway!

I was first in a standard room, which I do not suggest unless you plan on only sleeping in the room. If you want to have an amazing room take a villa. After upgrading to a villa I was extremely impressed with this 3 star resort. Spectacular clean rooms, cleaned extensively daily, the kindest staff, and great food. I would definitely be coming back!

Brisas Guardalavaca: Was not impressed by the resort

The resort was maybe a 2 star itself. The only people that were friendly were the bartenders. The beach was great and food was okay. A lot of families with lots of kids. The night entertainment was for kids so I was not impressed at all. The resort also had a lot of fire ants and I was attacked by them. I will not be returning there ever again.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: terrible resort

Hotel was bad 1st room given had baby crabs crawling all over. 3 days in I fell on the ceramic terrace and broke my hip spent 3 days in hospital in Cuba before air ambulance flew me back to Canada. This is one trip from HELL that I will never forget. Will never ever travel there again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brisas Guardalavaca: Brisas Good

Enjoyed Brisas Guardalavaca Cuba. Second time vacationing there. Wonderful service from Carol at Trip Central. Unfortunately the timing put us in the middle of the flight cancellations and delays of recent Cubana Air. Carol and Trip Central will be hearing from me again in the future.

Don Lino Hotel: dirty

Second time at this resort because the first time was great. This time, the experience was very different so something has changed. Tables and floors washed with dirty, smelly water. Every morning at the beach bar for coffee, there was garbage on floor and tables, washroom was disgusting - all not cleaned from the night before. Definitely not as clean as other Cuban resorts I have been to. Staff just stand around and talk to each other while tables are dirty with food and garbage, no cl [... read more]ean place to sit...there were no guests to serve so there was no excuse. Food was ok but no bacon, ever, and very few options. Saw a manager standing over the buffet, eating and picking food with his hands. Animation staff gossip about guests in spanish....they should realize that some people can understand what they are saying. They advertise activities on the program board but nothing was actually done that week. Receptionist gives dirty looks when expected to do her job. Staff in general were rude and unwelcoming....I'm not talking about one or two, it was a few staff who treated guests as an inconvenience which created a negative vibe. The beach was too rocky to enter but beautiful to look at. The location, rooms and views were beautiful so there is potential for a better experience, perhaps under different management.

Playa Pesquero: Very Nice resort

We found everything very clean at this resort. The room was always very clean. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and we always had a clean supply of towels(including face cloths). Excellent serving staff in the restaurants and bars. And there are a lot to choose from. We were entitled to 4 a la carte reservations for a one week stay. The food in the a la carte restaurants was awesome and we even found lobster on the menus at no extra charge. The buffet had very tasty food and many choices  [... read more]where they cook your food in front of you. We did however find the trolleys very unpredictable. They did not seem to run every 20 minutes as posted. We could usually walk to most locations on the resort but nice to have available in the heat of the day.
