El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Nice Resort

This hotel is well maintained both inside and out. The gardens are lovely and frame the buildings and pools beautifully. We did not receive the ElBaso wrist bands and were therefore not allowed to partake in any of the upgraded pools, Restaurants, etc. that this review request suggests. We were asked to leave the beach side restaurant as our wristbands were not the correct ones. This was disappointing as we were given the upgrade at checkin.

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Not the best experience

The resort is beautifully located and staff is generally nice, but that's it for the plus side. The place is not very clean, we had a very leaky faucet, toilet not working properly. Drops of rain water falling from the ceiling. Noisy revelers walking in the corridors late at night despite 'no noise' signs. Food average, people smoking in restaurant areas. It is a tourist factory big time. Quantity over quality.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Mediocre stay

We stayed at Barvaro Palace from Jan 23-30, 2025 and it was underwhelming. The room was a junior suite with the jacuzzi which was nice. There was a door I guess for the room next door but you could hear everything. The wash area is not a room, the only thing separating you from the rest of the people in your room is a few mirrors or a frosted door which you can hear and see everything. Just odd. We tried the seafood restaurant one evening it was so bad we couldn’t eat it. I had the lobster ravioli which look like a big heavy sheet of pasta. We didn’t see any filling. Just couldn’t eat it. The buffet was the cheapest foods around. Rice , mashed potatoes, pasta mainly. The pizza was good but it was always out so you would wait. Anything good or different was very limited and gone quickly. I was unwell after one evening and couldn’t leave the room the whole next day from an upset stomach. It is just so big and impersonal, more attention paid to the casino and shopping area. Just not what is shown on videos Would never go back

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Be aware and read all reviews check date posted

What a disappointment Advertised 4 restaurants 3 bars etc etc. No there is one place for breakfast and one for lunch. The dinner is either buffet or al a cart only available 2 times a week. The buffer was disgusting, please look at pictures. The same items all the time . Brown lettuce floating in water is the norm. And only one bar., open at any time. No choices.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Needs some TLC

The hotel was HUGE. The buggies were constantly around so no trouble getting around. Rooms were nice, we were in Villa 2. Always stocked fridge and towels. Room service for extra items was quickly delivered. If your staying at Grand Punta Cana you don't get access to all the other hotels within the Bahia Chain. It's the lowest tier resort of the seven hotels. Beach was beautiful but chairs were over crowded and on top of each other. If you weren't at the beach by 6am good luck getting a seat. Th [... read more]at goes for the pool also. Unfortunately the food was terrible and service during meals was not great. Everything was overcooked or sometimes raw and constantly the same thing. The A LA Carte restaurants were decent minus the Greek one - awful. Tons of mosquitoes so if you don't want to get eaten alive, go inside your hotel by 8 pm. We had a baby so we didn't stay for entertainment because we didn't want her to get bitten by mosquitoes. Never had an issue with getting a towel. The Staff at the resort were very kind. I would definitely stay at a different hotel within the Bahia chain. I would suggest to pay more and get on the luxury side. Overall, although we had a really nice time, the weather was beautiful. We went in January 2025.

Ocean El Faro: Great Resort!

The resort was very clean, with beautiful pools and amenities. Lots of food options at the buffet and nice restaurants for dinner. The beach party was especially fun! We brought snorkel gear and saw lots of fish, sea urchins, and a stingray.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort!!

Had the most amazing time at the Royalton bavaro resort and hotel! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, food was great, staff were all so amazing and friendly and the rooms were very nice, they had some miner issues and could use a little TLC but nothing serious. Overall, we had the most amazing time at a beautiful place!

Secrets Royal Beach: Great Resorr

The hotel is well laid out, it is well maintained, the staff working in all areas are great and go out of their way to assist you. We had some challenges with our first room, and when it was brought forwarded the desk staff ( Eddie) remedied the situation for us. This is our 7th time to a Secrets resort and again we were not disappointed by the food, all restaurants were excellent! You have to be an early bird if you want a pool lounger starting at 6am.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Dreamy Spot

4.5/5 as we really enjoyed our vacation there. The grounds are beautiful. The employees cannot do enough for you. Multiple choices for eating and drinking. Beach is one of the best. Even though it was sold out, it never felt crowded. Rooms were a decent size and the beds were comfortable. Food while not quite 5 star, was good with lots of choices. We were in the preferred group so we didn't try the main buffet as it seemed to be a bit chaotic and we had other places to go to. The only downs we h [... read more]ad were a bit of a unorganized check in, the odd wrong order in the restaurants, and smokers seem to smoke where ever they want.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Had great time

My wife and myself had a great week at Cofresi. The food was good. We were in the older rooms. They could use updating for sure but how much time do you spend in your room. For the price we payed at peak time for travel would definitely go back again. $1000 each. Note this resort is very large and not for anyone disabled or walking issues. Lots of stairs and inclines. Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Fun in the sun

Beach and pool were lovely. Room had a mildewy smell that was difficult to handle. Food in the adult lounge seemed to sit out for long periods of time with no system for keeping it cool. I could not eat anything with meat in it.

Good resort that is a work in progress with great potential. Every day there was some sort of improvement being made to make the stay more enjoyable. The staff are very hard working. Rooms are comfortable with all amenities needed and if what you need is not in the room just request it and it’ll be there in a matter of minutes. Buffets were good. Could always find something you like to eat! Al a carte restaurants were great! Entertain was great both at the pools and the nightly entertainment. Secrets Royal Beach: Beautiful resort

We truly enjoyed our stay with amazing grounds, beautiful scenery, and loved the options of having a quiet pool which was beautiful and the larger more social pool. Lady was an amazing server always smiling and very attentive. She knew what we wanted and ensured we were taken care of. Lady went above and noyons to help and make our experience amazing. We encountered an issue when we first arrived we were given a room in the “second” building where we found mold, air conditioning didn’t work, fridge didn’t work and excess moisture in the room. We complained and they were able to provide us a change which resulted in a positive situation.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Amazing time

Resort was great.The food ad the beach were great.pools were awesome to. The staff was attentive and the grounds were well kept.Snorkeling right off the beach was amazing.water was nice and calm every day.will definitely go back next year.

This resort is absolutely amazing. Food was beyond amazing. Rooms very clean but dated. Beach was beautiful and grounds worker's made sure everything was spotless. Will be definitely booking again next year.

Riu Republica: Nice pools and beach

The hotel sold our room when our flight was delayed. They didn't give us clean bathmat or towels multiple times and threw our blanket on the couch. Servers seemed annoyed to be there. They would not give us dry beach towels. The pools were nice, drinks were good. Food was ok. Specialty restaurants are just themed buffets.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Wonderful week

Just returned from 1 week at VH grand. Most amazing beach!!!!! Can walk forever both directions. Lots of bars close to you. Premium and royal area chairs were “taken” every morning by 6 am so we just went to regular beach. Paid the “royal” price but wouldn’t do that again. Not worth it. Lounge was nice but packed, noisy and dark. Overall food was good. Staff very pleasant. Did the waterfall jumping/sliding excursion and boy was it ever a great adventure. Will likely return another year.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: One of the Best Resorts in Punta Cana

Service was very good. Very scenic and well kept resort. Unlimited access to Secrets next door was an excellent perk. Food was average, but certainly enjoyable. Beach was great. Lots of shady areas available. Pool areas were very good.

Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort: Just What The Doctor Ordered

Would highly recommend the Adults Only Side. From food to service to accommodations, it was all great. You could beach or enjoy your choice of three pools, each with its own degree of activity. Would definitely return.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing time with friends!

Amazing resort. Lots of food choices & restaurants. Close to airport about 30 mins. Fantastic Beach for swimming and walking. Always able to find a seat. Yummy drinks. Pools where very clean and spacious.
