Gran Muthu Imperial: Amazing resort!

My husband and I just came back from a two week vacation at the Gran Muthu Imperial. We had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful. Lovely beach! Our room had a spectacular ocean view and was kept nice and clean. There was always a good variety of food in the dining room. We really enjoyed the entertainment every night. The staff and service were great!

Hotel Camino del Mar: Average resort

there was no "hot" water - fixtures in the bathroom were pretty old. toilet issue having to flush 3 times advised not to throw paper in the toilet Service was very good - people very accommodating Food was okay but not much variation

hotel is very clean no tippy maid most time no beer food is not american or even close bread is a 10 beer a 10 the rest a 5 the service in the snack bar is a joke the main buffet is a scramble bacon not cooked but can be done while your omelet is burning

Gran Muthu Imperial: Always waiting in line

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. I found we were always waiting in line for something; drinks, food (waited in line twice for over 40 mins at the buffet), even the bathrooms. To order "a la carte" was a 45 minute wait. Check in was over 30 minutes wait. Twice I attempted to change my beach towel. First time they ran out by 4pm and then at 10 am on another day they had no towels due to the laundry service. Gran Muthu Imperial: Beautiful Resort

My sister and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. The resort itself is gorgeous with the friendliest staff. We did the three ala cartes and would definitely do the Chinese and International again. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our choice at the seafood ala carte. The grounds and our view was gorgeous. We would definitely go back if we have the opportunity to do so.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing Beaches and Friendly Staff

Memories Caribe is "quaint and cozy" with many choices for your meals and buffet options. Most amazing is the beaches. I have been to DR, Mexico and Bermuda and I found the beach here the MOST beautiful with the unbelievable teal waters and sand bars. A shout out to the wonderful and friendly staff, to name a few John at the front desk, Darma at the book shop, and my favorite Chef from the omelette station and fried rice station. Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Amazing beach

We stayed at the Memories Flamenco between Feb. 18 to 26, 2020 and had amazing vacation. Checking In was quick, staff at the checking desk courteous and very helpful. Our room was in building #6 3rd floor, was spacious and clean. Cleaning staff did excellent job, helpful and always in good mood. Buffet restaurant had lot of variety and very fresh. Entertainment staff did good job in preparing different activities. Overall, we had excellent time, love the people there as they try very hard to please their customers. Beach it’s breathtaking, plenty chairs to lounge on and we walked on the beach for 6 to 8 KM each day, sometimes twice. Yes I would recommend this resort to friends.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: 5 * resort ??? NOT

Well we came back from this resort Friday , this was my second time in Cuba , I’ve been too 4 stars before travelled DR dozen times , Jamaica twice .. We went with a couple who went last year , they were surprised at the changed ...We aren’t fussy eaters but do expect hot food ..Pros ... beautiful resort pool area , loungers , rooms ,staff .. always had hot water ....Cons... We’d be at buffet early .. breakfast, one toaster , line up omelette delicious but short staff, lunch warm fries  [... read more]food cold , from pasta too anything cooked, The buffet chairs were cloth fabric were filthy , we were fortunate to do a la carte restaurants .Italian was our favourite.. Beach area not seaweed, everywhere. Would we go back likely not .

I love everything about this Resort. The people made it very welcoming. The food was good especially for Cuba the rooms were clean. I'm actually planning my second trip back. I've never repeated a trip the same Resort before so this will be my first. Also be sure to tip your entertainment team as almost everybody makes tips except them

The only negative feedback is the lighting of paths in the evening. They could also make sure to have the washrooms stocked with toilet paper being a 5 star resort. Overall great place to visit!! Looking forward to coming back 😊

Hotel Mojito: excellent holiday at Mojito

all was very good except for a lack of washrooms around pools- rooms & grounds very well kept staff very friendly-good activities for our grand kids -food was good breakfast especially-fruit was somewhat scarce

Melia Jardines del Rey: Good Resort!

Grounds are lovely. Standard rooms do need some updating. Our toilet wouid not flush properly. Beds are not clean and have a musty smell. My bedsheets had a stain for the whole week, so they were never changed. Pillows and bed are stiff and uncomfortable. The beach is gorgeous and the food is not bad. There is something for everyone. Entertainment was great. I wouid go to this resort again with my family, possibly next year.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Memories Flamenco Cayaco

Our hotel was lovely .. the main bar was the star.. our hotel room was good with hot running water and we had our ocean view . Towels and bedding were changed regularly. We had beach towels ever day. Food was plenty - full with buffet and you could wait while they cooked fresh fish, chicken and beef... lots of salads, rice and potato dishes ... plenty of desert interests. Lots of chairs and places to sit and enjoy .. The Staff excellent? And of course a bit of tipping goes the extra mile... I recommend this resort. My Family husband , 27 year old son, 25 year old daughter and grand daughter 6 had a very nice week. Cheers

Gran Muthu Imperial: Beautiful vacation spot

5th time in Cuba, 2nd in Cayo Coco. Rooms were nice & clean, air conditioning was great for relief from the heat. entertaining team was A+, food was good, resort lay-out was great. Only complaint was the challenge to get new water bottles or to have water bottles filled without asking or issue. Quick 40 min bus ride from the airport. 6 min drive to beautiful Pilar beach for a day trip. Will return.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: The good , the bad, and the scary

We spent two weeks at this resort. First time in Cuba. Probably the last. We arrived at the resort at 11:45pm. No one to help with luggage. Told to go out the door and turn left. That's it. Very, VERY little lighting. Couldn't have read map without cell phone light. Third floor walk up. Big challenge with a very bad back like mine. Everybody knows food in Cuba is not that good. Food was in fact horrible. Buffett does not turn on heat under trays. Never. Not once was the Buffett even warm. Went t [... read more]o Italian a la carte. Terrible. Neither one of us could eat it. Creole a la carte was very good. Poolside snack bar was ok. Hamburger, hot dog, chicken sandwich all ok. Two beach side bars, poolside bar and snack bar all NO ICE!!! Ridiculous that you can't get a cold drink at a resort that averages 30-35C every day. Beds... Mattress was old steel spring style. No cushion top. Worst bed I have ever seen in a hotel. Shower was a joke. Shot all over the place. We had hot water every day. Others did not. Bring at least one flashlight for every person. Worst lighting I have ever experienced. The beach... Most beautiful beach I've ever been on. Beautiful sand. Goes for miles. STUNNING!!! Fantastic water for swimming. Warm, clear, fantastic colours as you look out from your chair. Lots of palapa's for shade. Tons of lounge chairs and friendly guys to help you out. Big pools. Pool was always clean but pretty chilly. Lots of room. Lots of games from the entertainment staff. Staff overall were great. Friendly and helpful. Most spoke English very well. Overall... Great beach. Beautiful water. Stunning scenery. Warm and friendly people. Fantastic weather. Two weeks. Not a drop of rain. BUT... Food is awful. Place is run down even though it is only eight years old. It looks twenty plus.

Sol Cayo Coco: Awesome

Everyone was super friendly, helpful, clean and the drinks were amazing. Blanca at the main bar was amazing every morning, our housekeeper did a wonderful job and all the wait staff was incredible. I am excited to book my trip next year at the same resort. This was my third time going to Sol Cayo coco and like I said I’m looking forward to going again.

Gran Muthu Imperial: Surprised

My wife was there 2weeks ago and she listed an issue with the housekeeping. There are still issues to be resolved but it is getting better. Met a return guest from a year ago who was very pleased. We also visited the Rainbow hotel and learned that when you have 100 guests as opposed to 1000 in our hotel.Customer service is easier.We ate at the international restaurant and seafood restaurant. Both were excellent and a new friend said that the Chinese restaurant was also very good. Melia Jardines del Rey: Great vacation for a week

We spent a week at the MJR Feb 19-26 2020, great sunny week (a few clouds), beach is amazing. Never spent anytime at the pool only about 15 minutes at the quiet one. Lobby grand, could actually be a little bigger sometimes gets very crowded. Enjoyed the walking, would not be good for someone with mobility problems but that being said they had cars taking people around. Our room was nice, clean, 17203. Never stocked our fridge for the last 4 days, disappointing. We only had issues once with the water, none for couple hours on our last night, not a big deal. The buffets were always busy, ate at the grills mostly. It was hit or miss about getting service, although we did have a few good ones in the mornings. Not a big selection of fish, no shrimp or salmon like other Cuban resorts I have been too but did enjoy the white bass and tilapia. Chicken was good, great breakfast and salads. The a la cartes not so good, I enjoyed the Oriental had salmon delicious, but husband's pork was chewy. The Cuban was terrible nothing on the menu and had substitutes for everything, we ended up walking out an d going to the buffet. The Mediterrean was not much better desert was the best. Met some great people and loved that we could visit the other two Melia's to see what they were like. Would I go back, yes it is now on my list of return resorts if the price was right.

Rooms were well kept and very updated The beach was a little rocky but overall very nice, never had an issue with getting a spot. Pools were very clean but a little on the cold side. The resort is a perfect size. Had that big feel but very easy to get around The food was absolutely amazing. This is my third time to Cuba and was by far the best food experience. Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Amazing Beautiful Resort & Cubans

2nd time at the IPP Feb 2020 and never disappointed. I love this resort Yami, Babo made things fun with their games, personalities and warm hearts. Roiny, Adrian for good drinks, cute smiles and awesome personalities, the gardener for working so hard to keep the grounds beautiful for us & Janet for all our requests, you made everything happen as we wanted and we are so thankful. We will return Aug 2020!!
