Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome resort!!!

Everything about this hotel was awesome. The grounds, rooms, washrooms, dining rooms, pool and beach were all so clean. The entertainment could have been a little better but wasn't bad. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely come back again! But stay longer!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Resort

Very safe resort. All your shopping needs are in the Market on site. The buffet food is amazing. The only draw back is the beach, lots of rocks in the water as hurricanes are taking its toll in the water. We brought dock shoes and enjoyed the water. The beach sand was nice.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Resort to Stay at!

The hotel was great and the view was amazing. The staff were always very kind and answered all questions we had during our stay. The food and beverage selection was also great at every meal. Staying at the Luxury Akumal also gives you access to all of the other 3 resorts so you can really never be bored. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this resort!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an

Although the room is not as deluxe as we expected, it is clean and quiet. However, we do think that it need to have more hanging rack or shell for us to keep our wet clothing and stuffs after swimming and snorkelling.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Three Times A Charm!

This was our 3rd visit in as many years to the Bahia Principe in the Mayan Riviera. I can’t say enough about this place, but briefly, they have customer service down to an art. When we arrived, they offered us a room change from the Sian Ka’an to the Akumal, as the Sian Ka’an was nearly full. The beach [... read more]es are on the small side but the staff keeps them clean. Lots of swimming pools to choose from. A nice addition is the sports bar at the Akumal. One morning while on a walk, I took a different route and noticed a sign that said “Crocodile area. Do not interact or interfere with these animals “. I kept on walking until I saw another warning, then hopped aboard a passing shuttle. The driver was amused! Lovely place and lovely people.

Food was disgusting and always the same it was like eating garbage.Drinks we're watered down.5 star hotel i think not.service was hit and miss.Nice room and pool but resort was way to big.Overall not a resort we would ever go back to.Even at a discounted price.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good resort!

The staff was amazing,grounds were great and the food was great.Air Conditioning was very weak in the room and a little better in the eating areas.The Bahia Coba Privilege Club people are very annoying with there TIME SHARE pitch.Beware!!!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an Review

Nice place if you want to get away & relax. We like the adults only quietness. Smaller resort means you get to know more people. Beds are firm so some people may find uncomfortable. Good selection of food & drink [although most food in buffets only luke warm never hot unless freshly prepared by chefs.]. Staff work very hard. Shuttles to the beach resorts not a big deal a great way to talk to people & get to know everything about what all the resorts have to offer.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Vacation

The Resort grounds were immaculate, staff was always cleaning poolside,hallways and common areas. The Buffet was always well stocked with a great variety of food and desserts. Rooms were cleaned daily and drinks restocked, the only bad thing I can say was the mattress was extremely hard.

Great service. Good food. This was a very enjoyable vacation destination. While it is a huge resort, it didn’t feel over crowded. The selection of restaurants was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice resort but......

The grounds were well kept and attractive. The beach area left a little to be desired. Some areas of the beach appeared rocky and overrun with seaweed. The pools appeared well maintained. Unfortunately it rained for three of the four days we were there however staff were very good about drying up the water so as to prevent slip and falls.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Grand Bahia Principe Tulum was great!

The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Food in the main buffet restaurant was great! Staff were accommodating. They had a market area on resort. The internet resort wide was a bonus! Would definitely recommend this resort to friends and would love to go back!

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Spent 10 days here

This resort is pretty nice. The grounds are well kept. The rooms are a perfect size with great bathrooms. The rooms are nice and clean. Well stocked with water, beer and sodas. People who have been to this resort multiple times claim the food used to be outstanding so they are very disappointed. It's average but there's always something to select. I ate a lot of salad and can confirm it's washed with bottled water. Fish is good; beef is tough; chicken could be dry. My husband ate something t [... read more]hat caused him bad D for almost 3 days. We think it was the turkey but hard to tell. I tried coffee out of the machine and that was a big mistake. I suffered badly but thank goodness it only lasted 30 minutes. Stick with the coffee/milk they serve at your table. The beach is man made and well maintained. Sand is added and raked daily. Lots of loungers/tables/palapas. The first day we arrived, there seemed to be a film of oil floating on top of the water but didn't notice it the next 9 days. There appears to be a refinery of some sort on the other side. There was quite a bit of mossy grass on the bottom at first but there are some guys that spend the day scraping and netting it out. There was hardly any toward the end. The water is murky and dark; can't see your feet. However, we're beach people and went in the water daily. Best to shower off after cause your skin could feel itchy. Fabulous sunsets from this vantage point. You could actually see the sun disappear within minutes. It's a nice walk along the beach. You could even use the pool near the condos. It's usually empty or less than 4 people are in it. There are no cats but we did see 3 rats on separate occasions skittering away. They are fairly big...about the size of a nerf ball. Mosquitoes come out around 5ish so bring your repellent. Entertainment is average and ends fairly early. Their wine is ok. Not sure what they put in their Bombay gin bottles because it doesn't taste like the name brand. However, staff work hard so tip them well. We spent a nice 10 days but most likely wouldn't return. We had great weather. Rained poured down while we slept. And during the day it would sweep in and last about 10-15 minutes.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Our fourth time there

If your looking for an adult only resort in Punta Cana, this is the one. This December 2019 was our fourth time to this resort. It was great four years ago and has improved even more every year since. The food is great. The drink are the best and the workers are exceptional. We have gotten to know many of them by name and they recognize us each year as we return. The beach is perfect as well as the pool area. Never had a problem getting a chair on the beach or by the pool. Lots of shade if y [... read more]ou want it. The new sports bar if the best we have seen at any resort. The only complaint I have is I like to play volleyball but their beach court is poorly set up. Hopefully by the next time we go, that will have been improved.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Just average

The grounds are well kept. The pool areas are very slippery. The breakfast buffet has a huge variety will not disappoint. However if you want a la cart good luck unless you plan on eating after nine. Be sure to bring faceclothes as they are hard to get. The beach area is knee deep. Definitely not a beach unless you go over to the kids side of the resort where you will be approached to by weed and smell it all day long. The rooms are nice other than the bathroom could use updating. Room service [... read more] is terrible a two hour wait for cold food. Hit the snack bar instead it's worth the walk compared to cold fries and burgers. Overall this resort is just average nothing luxurious about it what's so ever. Will not return

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Most Amazing Resort I have ever been to!

Grand Bahia Principe Tulum is the most beautiful resort I have ever visited. You have access to the Coba resort as well which was pretty awesome. The shows were amazing, the disco was fun, we met a lot of great people from around the world and the workers are simply the nicest people I have ever met. I came back to Canada saying hola to half the population here lol! Just a great trip in general. Food, service, stay, and everything about Grand Bahia Principe Tulum was perfect. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: GREAT FOR FAMILIES OR ANYONE !

MELODIE CARGILL WAS AMAZING AND LISTENED TO EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED. SHE WAS SO KIND AND PATIENT. WE WILL USE HER AGAIN 100% first of all this resort is big but they have carts that literally go by every 5 minutes and they have 'bus stops' just a heads up the kids waterpark is at the coba side which you have access to but again need to take a cart. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great trip to Jamaica

Loved the hotel facility and the daily activities they had going on. We took a family trip for our daughter’s first vacation. We would definitely recommend this hotel to another family. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to use the kids club as it was under renovation during our stay.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wonderful holiday!

This resort has something for everyone. The trolley system made it easy to go to the other properties and the beach. If you have food allergies, let the front desk know, they take them serious and go above and beyond to make meals that you can eat. We only came across one rude employee when checking out and my cell phone cord went missing during our stay. These did not effect our enjoyment of the resort. It was beautiful and relaxing. Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Luxury Bahia Principe Samana

This was our first time to the Dominican Republic and it won't be our last. Upon arrival we were checked in and in our room in no time at all. The room was absolutely beautiful with a view of Samana Bay. The grounds were very well kept and the resort was super clean and beautiful. Food was good especially the a la cartes. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. For those who love to party, this is not the place for you.
