Dreams Riviera Cancun: Very nice place
This was our 3rd visit to the Mayan Riviera in the last 3 years and we were not disappointed at all. Our 8-year old daughter was totally happy in the Explorer Mini Club. We always found a nice spot along the beach to relax and had nothing to complain about. Since the package allowed for the kids to stay free, there were many small kids around and the breakfast atmosphere was not really "relaxing" but the waiters were typically excellent and eager to provide excellent service anyways.
Barcelo Maya Caribe: Just what we need after a long harsh winter
It's been a long harsh winter in Toronto when we went to Riviera Maya in early May. I was a bit apprehensive selecting this resort and did a lot of research before making up my mind. And boy, was I glad I selected Barcelo Maya Caribe. From the pickup at the airport to the hotel till the end of the trip, it was great service almost all the way. The food was good and the two restaurants for evening dining was fabulous. The entire resort was well kept and the staff pleasant. There are 5 different h [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Wonderful stay
Definitely will go back. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, food was fabulous with a lot of variety daily, grounds were immaculate with beautiful peacocks passing thru. Plenty of pool areas as well as the use of sister Iberostar hotels to swim and eat at. If I had to give a negative(reluctantly) I would say the area the resort covers is huge and takes a lot of walking, but they have small trolleys to pick you up. They arrive within a few minutes and was never a problem for us.
Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Great location
Friendly employees. Spacious room. Mangos hanging on your balcony. Quiet, clean. Good location right beside ferry terminal. Guests are friendly too. Close to airport too. Inside room there is safe, which is great.
Allegro Cozumel: Great vacation
Had a wonderful week in Cozumel with my sister. The resort was great, clean and well maintained. Will definitely return. The beaches were lovely and we rented a car and drove around the island. You cannot come to Cozumel and not go see the wild side of the island. Breath taking views of the ocean.
Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Fun for the whole family
We certainly enjoyed watching the kids playing in the ocean or the many pools around the resort. My wife and I found many hours of alone time when we dropped off the kids at the kids club. We were able to enjoy the restaurants and adult pool without having to supervise our little ones. The staff at the resort were extremely courteous.
Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Great Staff
The Hotel Management was Horrible, they catered to all the seniors that were there for the month or longer and didn't give the same treatment to the all inclusive guests. It is really said as we have been going there for the last 6 years. Guestavo and Enrigue are still the best, since the new management most of the great staff are gone.
Allegro Cozumel: Amazing resort....amazing staff!
The Allegro Resort in Cozumel is my favourite vacation destination. My husband and I stay there at least once a year. The food is excellent, the beach is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. This resort has everything I need for a great vacation in a beautiful location.
El Dorado Seaside Palms: Spoil Yourself
First class resort. The food was terrific and the restaurants and service were outstanding. Six different a la carte restaurants with a good variety. No watered down drinks and everyone was friendly. We felt completely safe at this resort at all times. If you can't enjoy this resort it's your own fault!
Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: welcoming, comfortable, fun resort
We love the Royal Decameron. The grounds are beautifully groomed. The beach is fabulous - you can walk for miles and miles and play in the waves. The resort staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The restaurants are clean with great service and good food with lots of choices. The entertainment is like none other that we have seen in our travels in Mexico. 2nd to none, it feels as though you are at broadway anytime they put on a show. We also love that we can walk out of the resort into the cobbl [... read more]
Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Awesome resort!!
I stayed at Royal Decameron in both January and again in April 2014. I went back for a second trip because I loved it there so much. Grounds are kept nice, rooms are also clean and nice. Love the location and the staff are simply amazing. They have a super little disco/bar where you can party at night. No need to leave the resort. So much fun and it is a smaller resort so you meet so many people. Planning on going back again next year. Great resort!
Grand Oasis Sens: not as good as I expected
food was fair.night entertainment very poor.rooms fair.swimming pools good.poor service in resturants.IIt was rated 4 star ..sorry I dont think so...may be 2 1/2 star....not even 3.I will never stay here again.
Barcelo Huatulco: Exactly what we were looking for.
The Barcelo was your average all-inclusive but the weather and the people are what you come for. The hotel is showing its age but if you want something newer book a club room as they have upgraded bathrooms. The food was good, lots of selection, and had no problems booking the al la cartes. The animation team wasn't as "active" as you see in most resorts but still a lot of fun. I would not recommend the show (tried 2) and just enjoyed playing cards and listening to the small band in the hotel ba [... read more]
Grand Oasis Cancun: great time
Me my husband and our 10 year old boy went May 5-11 we had a great time only downfall we had to change rooms(we were on the party floor..too loud) The hotel was very nice about it .They rated it as a 5 star I would say a 4 it is getting old and the rooms need some attention paint and spackle everything was clean can not complain at all about that. When we first got there I thought oh this place is too big a lot of walking to get where you are going but by the 3rd day it was nice to have to walk. [... read more]
Melia Puerto Vallarta: Awesome vacation spot!!
We stayed at the Melia resort in puerto Vallarta and it was outstanding. Great family resort with lots of activities for the little ones. It's also not a far cab ride to the centre of town where all the action is. The staff were wonderful and there was no shortage of food throughout the day. We would gladly go back!!
Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Holiday Nightmare
At first when you get there, you think "nice Authentic Mexico resort". That is quickly shattered when you see the rest of the place. The room was adequate, but the resort grounds were very small. The pool was extremely small and had broken tile and one of the other guests warned us that people were getting their feet cut and needing stitches. The swim up bar was surrounded by local young boys who stayed there, drinking All day. I'm only imagining where they went to the washroom. The food was dis [... read more]
Melody Maker Cancun: Great for younger couples
Beautiful hotel, food was great, drinks and espresso bar especially. Although the entertainment is not very good for older people. Music very loud. If you are early to bed, make sure that you do stay in a room over the disco
Paradise Village Puerto Vallarta: Nice Resort, good location
The 1st time we visited this resort, we were given a very dated room in a poor location, but were moved to a better room the next day after we complained. Our 2nd visit we were given a room facing the marina which was okay, but noisy in the middle of the night with no security at the front entrance. The food is very good, but service can be slow. There is a pool that is supposed to be "adult only". However, the resort seems to be more oriented to families with small children and they ended up in [... read more]
Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Had a great time
Very kid friendly with many activities to do. Were impressed with food & service except for one occasion at the Italian restaurant, (they were really busy and think they were overwhelmed, the service was very slow... but it could have been just that day) every where else to eat at the hotel..(the buffets and Mexican restaurant) where great, in fact we travelled quite a bit and it was the best food at an all inclusive hotel we've had. We had fun and would go back again.
Royal Suites Punta Mita: high end place to stay
the staff was, great say hi to Marcello and the boys at the bar. The food was very good with great service. A little too much walking but hey a little walking is good for you. Will visit you again soon.
