Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing resort
Grounds are clean, awesome food. Beach is beautiful , there is busy section of the beach and quite one also. Something for everybody. I like night shows and disco, I'm in my late 40 and love to dance. There is also a church for your soul. I love this resort and looking forward to come back
Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Will go back
Amazing little place compared to some of the large resorts I've been to. I stayed for 2 weeks and found little to whine about, service was good, as were the rooms....food was surprising good. Nice pool.
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Relaxing vacation
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the beach was beautiful. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway at an adults only resort, this is a good place. There is a lot of vegetation which adds to the ambiance of the resort. Although, due to all of the vegetation, you will not find a room that has a perfectly clear oceanview.
Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Very quiet and relaxing resort
The food was good, very clean resort, extremely quiet, good for couples. I do not recommend families, as there is no children activities. Parents will have to entertain their children. We went as a adult couple in a group and enjoyed this area of Mexico. We will travel here again. Recommend whale watching if you travel in January - February months. We enjoyed the sea life from boats only. The ocean is not safe to swim in, however, the pools are quite nice. If you are OK with a smaller more intim [... read more]
Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Amazing resort!!!
We loved this resort! It was the best one that we had ever been to. The staff are amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The food was delicious and the drinks were always enjoyed. The entertainment was fun to watch especially the nights where we ate supper on the beach and watched the dancers on the stage. It was our first time and sadly our last time to Dreams now that the hotel is changing names and getting remodelled. I loved this place!!!!
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice resort
The resort was well worth the price with a nice accomodation, quite spacious, and several good dining facilities. The a la carte French restaurant was my fav. The property is very large and spread out with a trolly train to serve between parts of it. Stay in a facility near the beach ( block # 5 was closest to the pool.) It was a bit crowded in March but typical of resorts at that time of year. Beach water a bit weedy in places but nice beach to walk.
Grand Palladium Colonial: Perfect Vacation!
My husband and I had an amazing vacation here. The food was awesome and there was a great variety of restaurants...we didn't even get to them all. We were always able to find a seat at the pools and beach. There were always activities to take part in if you wanted something different to do. We won 2 bottles of tequila! The room was great (we got one that was recently renovated). We got roped into hearing a sales pitch about buying into the high end resort, but it was worth it. We got a tour of t [... read more]
Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: Small resort, but very nice
With a little of a rocky start, thing definitely got better. Love, loved the pool areas, staff friendly, however time share people are pushy. Location is excellent. The beach is a 2*, if you like going into the water don't go there. We were there with 3 other couples and had a great time, overall very good holiday.
Barcelo Maya Colonial: Fantastic Resort
This resort is part of a 5 hotel complex and has a "train" you can take from one to the other. However, I feel that the Colonial is THE BEST. Rooms are very clean, pool is terrific(has a kids park) as is the beach and food and special restaurants are wonderful. It would be VERY hard to find a better place.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: The most fabulous hotel i have ever stayed in.
I have told every body i know to visit. My husband and i have never travelled ever and this was our first vacation and by the third night he asked if I had booked our next vacation. This is our very belated honeymoon (been married 32 years) and we have decieded that if this is the only place we ever visit we did awesome, the staff was so friendly and helpful and eager to please. We hope to return very soon.
Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Great Resort
We stayed at this resort just over a year ago after looking into the Cancun area. First, the grounds, lounges, and bars were absolutely immaculate this resort is still fairly new and we found it to be well taken care of top to bottom. Especially impressive were the pools and top notch gym. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very modern. The beach at resort was smaller but well taken care of. What we were let down by, was the lack of a lunch and dinner buffett. We are big fans of variety, here yo [... read more]
The Pyramid Cancun: Horribel experience!!
The hotel was completely booked with young people drinking, shouting. People smoking everywhere. The room was directly beside the elevator, floors wet, it smelled mouldy. It was not possible to find a place to eat due to crowds of drunk youths everywhere. We had to check out and find another hotel down the road.
Grand Riviera Princess: great resort
Overall well kept and great resort. There are many choices for eating with great variety. The food and service was excellent and it is a large resort but never felt crowded at buffet, pools and entertainment. Most staff were helpful and friendly. It is not a good choice if someone has mobility problems. There is a shuttle service every 15 minutes but more like every 30 and often full.Even with the shuttle there is a LOT of walking to get around. There is an abundance of pool areas but some of the sur [... read more]
Secrets Huatulco: Fantastic on all fronts and wonderful location.
Best resort I have been to. Staff were great. Restaurants were varied and some had fantastic views. Nice beach. Would definitely return. Bars were also very convenient. Entertainment was the only thing thgat was not of high quality.
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: You won't be bored
The hotel itself is very pretty. Everything is very clean. The food was amazing with to many choices. We wish we would have stayed for 2 weeks I stead of one. We didn't know you could go to the other buffets at the other hotels either. Our only complaint. We had a 1 year old that needed bottles kept cold in the room. When we approached staff saying our fridge was broken we received a lot of attitude! We also requested an ocean view room...it is NOT that kind of hotel. You are in villas in a lush [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: Perfect escape from Winter!!
With the winter of 2014 being one of the longest coldest most difficult winters in the entire North East in half a century we needed the perfect escape! The Rui Hotel at Emerald Bay Jamaica turned out to be just that! 4 of us from work went from Toronto in March! First of all the weather is perfect and very consistent about 32 in day and sunny and still warm all night about 25. The grounds if the resort are very well maintained with lots of flowers and gardens and the hotel itself backdrops on [... read more]
Grand Sunset Princess: Beautiful resort
My wife and I thought the resort was just amazing. The rooms were clean, nice big bathroom we loved the shower and tub. The food was great, so much to chose from, the fruit and vegetables were so fresh. We would go back in a heart beat. The service was top notch, the staff were friendly and kind. When we go back we would like to stay longer next time.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Perfect Holiday
Needed a relaxing holiday and that is what we got. The food was fantastic. The service was great. The infinity pool looking over the ocean was a great place to watch the whales and sip a cold drink. The loungers in the pool is also a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sun. Can't go wrong with selecting this Hotel for a great vacation.
Catalonia Yucatan: Enjoyable stay
Overall, we had a wonderful time. People were friendly, lots of Europeans, and staff were very helpful. Grounds were kept wonderfully, and food was good. A few issues with some rooms as this resort could use some major renovations. It is a tired building that could use some pick me up. Beach was great.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best relaxing resort
I found this resort very swanky to discribe it best!!! 100% must book. The restaurants had some of the most high end food, far surpassing any of my expectations. Service was 2nd to none. It is true that it is not on a beach. however there is a shuttle service that only takes 4 min to get to the other resorts with your own private beach.
