Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome vacation

Me and my husband recently came from a 5* vacation. Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in Jamaica has a 5* services. Room cleaning every single day, everyone is helpful if you get lost (yes, it happened to me), food is awesome and lots and lots of options to choose from. Cajun Jambalaya restaurant has the best salmon I've ever had. I don't recomand paying for photos taken there, it can be quite pricey. Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Increable Resort..Amazing Views!!!

Overall a top resort!! The grounds, facilities beaches and rooms were well maintained. The staff were amazing! the L la carts are not so good except the steak house it was really good. The Buffet was perfect breakfast, Lunch and dinner.. some stuff the same but a lot of different things each day. really enjoyed their jerk chicken and taco night. we were treated like royalty. Looking forward to go back with the kids next time!!! Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Resort

At first glance I thought it was nice landed on a cloudy day but still warm . I thought the shows weren’t very good the beaches were kind of dirty the staff were not very nice . And on top of everything I got salomonia poisoning

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Good Resort

We stayed for two weeks and were fairly pleased with the resort overall. The rooms were nice and spacious and clean, the hotel staff were friendly, the beaches were beautiful and the food was pretty good by Cuba standards. Most of the a la cartes were good. The only one we didn't really care for was the Italian one. The Mediterranean and Asian ones were very good. There were only two things that we found disappointing. Firstly, beach chairs were being reserved by placing towels on the chairs  [... read more] by people very early in the day (like at dawn) and then people would only show up hours later to actually use the chairs which made it extremely difficult to find a chair. There were not enough chairs for all of the guests. Secondly, over a two week period we were only able to get a clean beach towel TWICE as laundry services have been moved off site and the towels need to be trucked out and in every day and were scooped up pretty fast. There were not enough beach towels for the amount of guests. Having said all that, I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Iberostar Beaches Exceeded our expectations of our Group of 6 who travelled there on April 1. My wife I were looking for the sun, sand, relaxation and that special vibe that Jamaica is known for. Cleanliness was evident everywhere , excellent friendly staff that were very pleasant. Rooms - were more than adequate but some things were a little dated. Food - Buffet was very good. lots of variety and a great steak restaurant. Managers are often present to ensure things run smoothly. Vendors are certainly visible but all you have to do is be respectful- say is no thanks - they are approachable, very friendly and just trying to make a buck. We normally vacation in Negril and missed the sunsets over the water, the endless beach walks of long bay and the restaurants and local bars and entertainment in the Negril area. But this is ideal location for your Jamaican holiday If good food, clean everything; friendly staff and close to the airport are your objectives for a good holiday - this place should satisfy your vacation needs. Grilled lobster tails and the longest buffet table I ever saw, complete with lighting and tables and chairs that was all cover with linens was set up for their Friday Beach Party night. Complete with Fire eater- breather- all on the beach. Also had a great snorkelling trip with Dressel - again staff on boat were great. Reef was not in the best shape but lots to look at and the first time I have ever snorkelled where the crew were satisfied to let the 8 of us that day to snorkel as long as we wanted.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Relaxing vacation

The grounds of the hotel are still lovely despite what they went through almost 2 years ago. We were here 3 years ago and We noticed a lot of the trees were gone from around the spa side pool. There is a definite need for palapa, pergolas for people who want shade which is pretty much everyone. It was next to impossible to find shaded areas. There was apparently a problem with laundry and the towels in our room were never changed and we had the same bath towels the whole week. No hand towels [... read more] either they were taken away on our first day and didn’t get any new ones. The food is definitely not the same as it was 3 years ago, that was a bit of a disappointment. Plus they need to be consistent with labelling the food. I have a seafood allergy and I never knew what was in some of the dishes that were offered. Other than those minor issues we still had a great time and we love Cuba! Warning: WATCH FOR FALLING COCONUTS!!!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Not a family friendly resort

Just got back from this resort. It’s really nice! The resort was lovely, pools and beaches were so nice, cleaning staff were sweet and bartenders were quick and friendly. But this wasn’t a family friendly resort. We went with a 19mth old and there were so many issues we ran into. The food options were limited and there were no labels to show you what you are eating. Lack of high chairs. No straws. Wading pool seemed unattended and we found cigarette butts in it. No water slides. Kids Care se [... read more]emed empty everyday for such a big real estate it took up. Wifi is only in the lobby so couldn’t use iPads in the room. Drain plug in our tub was broken.... it may have been okay if it were just my husband and I. But when you string along a toddler and run into these issues, it gets frustrating and makes our experience a bad one at this resort. This resort needs to make some updates.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing experience

We stayed at the Iberostar pariso beach which was on the lower end of the 5 resorts (Del mar being our equal we could use their facilities too) while we were given the option to upgrade once we got there I found we really didn't need to. Since we didn't have kids with us this time I found the pariso beach had a lot less kids on this side and made our trip even better. We only got the option of 3 a la cart reservations we could make but only used 1 because the buffet was amazing at every meal. Th [... read more]ey had a great variety every night and didnt dissapoint. The sushi and mexican cuisine was my favorite and the coffee was so good every morning. A little strong but I loved it. The staff are all so kind and pleasent. The bus boys were the best and are always willing to drive you around in their little carts as the grounds are huge. I found the concierge not very helpful but always wanting to get you to buy extras or go to their 'presentation'. They do offer some compensation in iberostar bucks for going to this presentation for an hour, but I wasn't totally clear on how they can actually be spent so I declined. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The pools are as well. The drinks are either very sweet or salty but once you find one that works for you its easy to just stick with that. I thought cranberry and vodka might be ok but it was full of syrop so I ended up getting pineapple vodka and it tasted pretty good ( no syrop) the rooms were ok , not perfect as we were told we were getting a king sized bed and they just pushed 2 double beds together. Overall this resort was a really great experience and so beautiful I would stay there again.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: LOVIN JAMAICA

Great resort, run by staff that work extremely hard from top to bottom.. The food is top notch.( fresh and hot) .Rooms are well equipped for a comfortable stay. Lots of chairs at the beach and pool without playing the chair saving game. Beautiful grounds and very clean' Pool is very well laid out and clean. Fast service at bars but some of the beach bartenders need more training . Everything on this resort I would rate 5 stars except the beach. Fourth trip to Jamaica , twice to Negril, twice to Mo Bay. and nine other trips to vacation islands of the south.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome resort! Zero complaints!

Traveled last week, 1st adult sibling vacation with my 3 brothers and two sister in laws. Resort was spotless, staff were friendly and accommodating, lots of rum & sun!! The Food.... amazing ! Especially at the beach bar! Staff at the beach bar are new and a little inexperienced , all other bartenders, servers, amazing!!

There is nothing bad to say about this place. It was all great. Food could be little better. Same every day. Ala carte s good. Rooms were very clean. Washrooms were very very clean. We were impressed. Very nice resort

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Fantastic resort!

First time to Cuba and it was fabulous! Clean rooms, excellent amenities, great food, friendly staff! Could not ask for more! Big resort but small feel. Lots of things to do. Beach is gorgeous! Played tennis, sailed, pool activities! Beach bar was so close and also the lunch/snack bar to the beach. Helpful staff. A la cartes were so yummy!

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Beautiful beach and great service

The beaches were the highlight of this trip and its so nice to have two to chose from. Service was generally very good everywhere, and it was never difficult to get a drink or two. The food was really quite good with a good selection - not every dish is great, but there are always lots of options to pick from. Will definitely go back.

Hotel Mojito: Iberostar Mojito Cayo Coco

11 of us stayed at the Iberostar Mojito from March 31 - April 7, 2019 Our stay was pleasant. Still in my head the breathtaking white sand beach view and friendly, Happy Cuban staff at the resort. Most of all the best testy drink Mojito :) Hurricane destroyed a lot but Cuban people built up so fast and beautifully. JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Awesome Resort

Had a really great time here. Everything was amazing; the food, the cleanliness, the hospitality, the beach, the rooms. We can't say enough positive things about this resort. The activities were fun, the staff was always pleasant, other than one bartender at the pool that always seemed annoyed at me for ordering frozen drinks. Other than that I Highly recommend this resort.

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Best resort we've been too!

This hotel is immaculate. Everything is so clean, the staff is always helpful, the grounds are beautiful, the beach is amazing. We have only positive things to say about this resort. The food is out of this world. The buffet is as good as the a la cartes. Our butler went above and beyond to make our stay one we will always remember.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Excellent Resort

We have stayed in 35 resorts in the Caribbean and consider this resort one the best we have enjoyed. The resort is small,the buildings are picturesque, the grounds well cared for and the staff are the best we have encountered on our vacations. The resort is older but in better condition then most of the resorts of similar age. The food is good;however, we have been to other resorts which put a little more effort into extras such as carving roasts or fowl in the buffet. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Fantastic holiday

Just got back Sunday afternoon and missing this wonderful resort already!The beach was everything we hoped for white sand and beautiful clear water. The rooms were lovely and spacious the air conditioning was nice and cool and ceiling fan was quiet made for a great sleep! My grown children traveled with us and they loved the pools and fun activities and of course the swim up bar!!Definitely will come back again location great for a trip into Havana and a night out clubbing in Varadero!The staff [... read more] are friendly and the food was delicious! JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Best All Inclusive

This property is by far the nicest we have ever stayed at, and we travel often. The grounds and beach are immaculate, service unparalleled. Food and drink outstanding. Just wish I was still there!

Hotel Mojito: Wonderful Staff and Great Beach

I have been to many, many resorts in the Caribbean and to Cuba 5 times. The food was not as repetitive at this Cuban resort and every night a different featured meat or poultry, fish at the Buffet. For example they had a turkey, roast beef, salmon and pork loin on the 4 nights we attended. In addition made to order pasta and grilled meats. The food at this resort was not as bland as most in Cuba. One complaint I had was the breakfast pastries and bread were not always fresh and not a big va [... read more]riety. I would also liked to have seen more outdoor BBQs, only one the whole week. The bartender, cook and guy who cleaned at the Beach Snack Bar were fabulous. They went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The rooms are large and very clean. They are currently upgrading the rooms and for the price we paid for the vacation were a very good deal. The alcoholic drinks were okay but often were out of certain liqueurs and it was challenging getting sparkling water although certain bartenders always had it when we showed up at the swim up bar. They were fantastic bartenders and put up with a lot from some of the tourists. We tipped the staff at the resort well because they deserve it. I was really annoyed at people who never tipped. Really? If you can afford to go on vacation you can afford to tip. Quit being so cheap people the Cubans go above and beyond to please you! Iberostar needs to upgrade the swim up bar it is just too small. On the other hand the beach is outstanding and we went down daily. Always lots of chairs. All in all I would highly recommend this resort for value for the dollars we paid. We are seriously considering going back next year.
