Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: awesome resort for family

we had a great 7 night stay at the Great Parnassus. we were greet when we arrived and check in was swift and easy. we didn't have to lift a thing. our bags were brought right to our room. which was big, clean and beautiful. and the view was spectacular!!!! we had a side room which had a beautiful view of the cancun strip and ocean :) food was yummy our kids ( who were 6 and 4) always found a great assortment to eat. the la carte resturants were great and also catered to kids also. pools were bea [... read more]utiful and clean. and the water park was a hit for kids and adults a like. the kids club was great. we didnt avail of the services but they offered many activities both day and night. the beach was also beautiful and lots of shaded areas to lounge. we had seen on previous reviews that there were large rocks on the beach.but that was not the case. the beach was sandy and water was super warm. over all our stay was wonderful and we would definitely return. Dreams Huatulco: Outstanding resort!

We had an excellent experience at Dreams Huatulco, from restaurants, to rooms, to pools, to beach....staff was very courtous and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Met some great people and enjoyed paradise for 1 week!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Amazing resort!

Beautiful resort, beautiful beach (very important to me)! The kids club was amazing my 2 daughters 3 and 6 loved it! The staff was amazing and they never wanted to leave! They even had kids yoga on the beach! The food and drinks were great ! It was wonderful to not have to make reservations at the various restaurants.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: terific

Had a wonderful time, everything was first class, pools, bars, food, entertainment, it was our first time at this resort, it was a short stay, but great, the staff were very helpful. We hope to retun sometime for a family vacation.

Grand Riviera Princess: Excellent hotel !!!

The staff did everything to make our stay wonderful. The hotel and grounds were impecible. The food was great and the cold self serve beer keg and food at the beach bar came in handy lol. The hotel room was huge and super clean; a little hint - if you want extras in the mini fridge leave a tip. Entertainment was good and the multiple pools were nice, clean and felt like you were in paradise with all the palm trees. It is worth taking the shuttle bus into playa del carman for shopping. Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Wonderful and relaxing vacation

We loved our time at the hotel and the adjoining Xcaret Park. It was a perfect break from the depths of winter! The food was great - the buffet had lots of healthy options, with plenty of choices for anyone adhering to a special diet (ie. dairy free, wheat free, etc.). The hotel room had everything we needed (though we joked that a new couple visiting the resort should probably be forewarned that the bathroom door is NOT soundproof at all!). The pool was great, with lots of available beach chai [... read more]rs and easy access to the bars. We also really enjoyed the on-site archery/gym/tennis activities. That said, we would note that the snorkeling was a bit disappointing, though there were options for day trips to better locations. We did one day trip from the resort - the Coba day trip. Very easy to book from the resort. Excellent staff and great activities. In terms of the adjoining X-Caret park, we purchased the all inclusive access pass, and were happy that we did. It allowed us to take in the park a few hours a time, instead of powering through the whole thing in one day. For those visiting the park, the evening show is a must-see, as is the aviary. We also really enjoyed floating down the rivers. Beautiful ocean views if you walk back to the resort along the water. The only other thing that we would flag for anyone travelling to this resort is the resort sales pitch. We decided not to attend the "free breakfast" because we didn't want to spend 90 minutes of our vacation listening to a sales pitch, and had no interest in buying a timeshare at the resort. We were approached several times a day by resort staff asking us to attend this briefing for the remainder of our stay. So, something to manage for anyone visiting the resort - this was not our favourite part. That said, we would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a week of relaxation in the sun!!

El Dorado Royale: Simply Awesome

This hotel was excellent from arrival to departure. We stayed here from Juky 21st - 25th 2013 for our honeymoon Check in was easy and seamless The food was amazing. I recommend the smoothie bar at lunch for a nice light meal. Dinner - there are so many great options! The Italian restaurant had the best gnocchi I have ever had. I have been to about 10 all inclusives in the Caribbean and this one is the best. Highly recommend the ocean view rooms as well!

Crown Paradise Club: Paradise is a paradise

I was skeptical of a place with "Paradise" in the name, but for me Crown Paradise lived up to its name. The grounds and buildings were beautiful and well maintained, it was right on the beach, there was a choice of pools. The buffet was excellent, packed with great local options, a juice bar in the morning, soups, and something for everyone. The best time was on the weekends (when there were Mexican tourists) that's when the buffet was really great, it was average but good the rest of the time. [... read more] I didn't try the specialty restaurants. There were many gems on the staff; they were helpful and pleasant. Others could be more business-like and less accommodating, but they were in the minority. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, comfortable. If you don't like the sound of kids, make sure you are on the wing that doesn't look onto the kids pool. I personally like to hear them playing all day.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: A week in paradise!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Barceló Colonial resort! The grounds are beyond beautiful and immaculately maintained. There was a bit of confusion at reception about meeting our room requests which took 1-2 hours to sort out but they got it right and the rest of the trip was absolutely perfect. I'd say its perfect for kids up to 7-8 years old and they just could not get enough of it. Also the resort is so big and well played out that even at max capacity you never felt crowds anywhere. We always got the same pool chairs section and they all have awesome hammocks too.. incredible addition! The beach is picture perfect despite some rocky areas and also there are no huts or umbrellas at the beach so if you need shade because of the intense sun then you're a bit out of luck. There are lots of tall thin palm trees but the shadows move every 30 min so you just need to move a bit or stick to the pool.. First world problems!! All in all we loved the resort and have already been recommending it to everyone we know. You can't go wrong if you book here.. Hard earned vacation money very well spent!!!

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great quiet resort

This resort is very clean and great staff the rooms were nice. Had an issue with the safe that wasn't resolved as quickly as we would have liked. Good was good The resort is small so not a lot of food options but we enjoyed what we had. Drinks were great ! Good nightly entertainment. I would definitely recommend this resort and I love the area of Mexico.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Been to better

For the money spent it was not as nice as I thought it would be. I think Cayo Santa Maria is much nicer and has the most amazing beach. Cayo Coco did not have a great beach at this resort and the food was not good. I would say for Cuba this is a 3.5-4 star but if you can get a good price it's worth a holiday.

Bel Air Collection Xpu-Ha Riviera Maya: Retierment Home

I was traveling with 2 young adult kids and this place was not suitable in anyway for them. This place was like visiting a retierment home. The workers where very freindly but that is where it ended.If you want fun and beach this is not the place. The beach was so rockey you could not walk to the waters edge.

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing place!

The food was exceptional! The grounds were beautiful kept. Room service was great. Rooms were clean. We loved the Chill Out Lounge. We recommend Platinum. The extra service there was awesome. We would love to go back.

Melody Maker Cancun: Very cool place to go

This hotel was not your typical Mexican tourist hotel. Everything was high end and it was a great place for the 20-30 year old crowd. Katherine Ervasti was our rep and she was great to deal with Thanks!

Riu Palace Peninsula: Nice Resort would return in a flash

We do lots of travelling and Mexico is our #1 destination. The Riu chain is excellent and this hotel is no different.Rooms are great with modern style decor,food was excellent,ocean was fantastic but sometimes sea was a little rough (not a complaint) and the staff simply awesome.My wife and i would certainly go back to this hotel without a doubt.Go and enjoy yourselves ;-) Cheers

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing Resort

The staff was fantastic, whatever we needed, they were quick to get. The resort always had activities going on, tons of stuff to keep kids busy through the day as well as great shows every night. Food was great, lots of choices.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great Location, Great Holiday!

This resort was small, but cozy! The space is well used, it's in a great location! Shopping right across the street and a short walk to more! Long length of beach to walk and although the beach is too rough to swim the pools are heated so its the best of both worlds. The activities staff were tons of fun, no problem getting chairs around the pool and the food was good - not great, but good! Not a great resort for families but a wonderful choice for couples!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Lots of choice at this resort!

My two sisters and I traveled here for some quality catch up time. Loved the variety of restaurants, cleanliness of the room and enjoyed our private pool area upgrade. Surprised to have to deal with a key for the safe and that only two room keys were provided for three paying guests!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Best vaction ever

The kids club staff were awesome. The beach was perfect. Not rocky and the waves were not too big for a 4 and 8 yr old. Food and room were good. Somehow everyone at the resort seemed be positive. Overall a very relaxing trip. No bad surprises is the key concept.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Tropical paradise

What can I say about this hotel other than the fact it was 5 star from the time we arrived until the time we left. The staff made of feel incredibly special, it was the little things like chocolates in the room, flowers and one day even homemade cookies. This was our first time at this resort but it won't be our last
