Grand Oasis Cancun: Awesome resort

Everything was great! we all had a blast in the pools meeting new friends and the swim up bar was a nice feature. The white sand and blue water beach was just steps away. Highly reccomend this resort

Grand Oasis Riviera: I’ve been worse..

If you have kids and want to be in bed by 9pm, it’s perfect. There was no music except at one location and it was awful hipster electronica. There was not a lobby bar, in fact there were no bars... well one, it was a swim up bar and it closed at 5pm. Staff were ok.. like not mean but certainly not friendly. I don’t ever complain and I’m not even complaint now, I just want people to have visibility to what it really is. Rooms were clean and nice, the atmosphere just wasn’t for our family.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Loved Grand Oasis Cancun

My friends and I are all in our early 20's and this resort had it all. I must say though if you are bringing a family or don't really want to party this probably isn't the resort you want. If you are looking to party for a week on a beautiful beach and in a big pool than this is the one for you.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Family Friendly Resort

Rooms were very clean and maintained daily. The pool for the kids was great for our 1 year old and our 3 year old. They had activities for the kids daily and shows every evening. The food was amazing. Very tasty and lots to go around. They seemed to be slightly understaffed but all the staff were very friendly and willing to help at any time. Grand Oasis Cancun: Great resort if you like to party

If you like to party, this resort is for you. Drunk people are loud at the night, when they stumble into their rooms, and there's some questionable going ons. There's a lot of extra fees associated with this resort. We got the oceanfront room, so WiFi, and the safe were included. Be prepared to shell out more money for the black wristband. You get way better restaurants and access to more bars and a private beach area. At best, if you're Canadian, this is a low 3-star hotel. If you're in your 20 [... read more]s and looking to have a good time at the beach club, etc., this place is for you. I don't recommend this for families, or people who are older and can afford a better stay elsewhere. As a woman, ladies, be vigilant and have a designated person who's alert at all times around the club area.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great family resort

Lots to do with the kids/ family. Was an interesting mix of families, adults and millennials/ college students as well as nationalities. Overall is fun for everyone! Multiple pools provided ample places for kids to swim and play and the kids club was great for them to go play and dry off and take a break from all the swimming.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Bad service and outdated rooms

Rooms are old. Mini fridge was not stocked up on arrival and they only stock and every 2 days with minimum product. The room did not have drinking water. Extra charge for safe $7 a day. Customer service is very poor. Swimming pools are only cleaned first thing in the morning and not maintained throughout the day although there are large amount of people swimming. The buffet food was very poor quality and very small selection, it seem to be leftovers from other dinners the night before

Grand Oasis Riviera: Sweeeeet!!!

This place is truly a hidden gem. I have to admit we were upgraded to the Adult only Sian side of the resort and it was SOOOOO beautiful. We were on the first floor and had a walk out to the pool area for the adults only and it was a private oasis. I am happy that we were up graded as I don't know if would want to be on the other side. He is an incredible gent and make sure to order the surf and turf. The steak was incredible!!! We ended up going there 4 nights out of our 7. Overall this place is sooooooo beautiful. The rooms were clean, and the bed very comfortable. You are doing something right here Grand Oasis Tulum! We were 3 woman that went to relax and we did just that!!! Traveled April 2nd to April 9th.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Just perfect!

Perfect resort for families and also for adults at the adjacent resort Sian Kaan. Small resort with only a few steps from the restaurants, pools and the beach. The staff, entertainers and the service provided was outstanding and so was the variety of food available. The beach and the location is also perfect because of the proximity to a host of different attractions. We will be back and highly recommend this resort to everyone. Grand Oasis Cancun: Awesome vacation resort!

This resort was clean and well maintained. Beautiful grounds, lovely beach and pool areas. Many restaurant choices with well prepared meal options. There are quiet areas and busy areas with activities and music most all of the time. The evening entertainment was always enjoyable at many areas over the entire resort.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Amazing Resort

The resort is amazing. We stayed at the Sian Kaan for the entire trip. The place is just a paradise, so calm, quite and beautiful. Food presentation is awesome, servers are very friendly but it would be better if they put more staff during the meal time so that it could be more efficient. The only shortfall is the beach area has too much sea weed and rocks, and if the staff can communicate in English. Otherwise, we have no complaints at all.

Smart Cancun By Oasis: Cool place

restaurant food was very good. Rooms were modern and clean. Hotel staff was accommodating and friendly though was not the fastest. Available facilities, pool, gym were all up well kept and clean. Decent value overall.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Absolutely amazing!!!

A fantastic smaller resort! Great large clean rooms, excellent for families with kids - kids zone with separate pool and activities! Shows were entertaining and food was delicious. Great bang for your buck - would happily go back!

Grand Oasis Riviera: Half decent hotel

The hotel amenities were fine. Hey were there, but not necessarily functional. They had a few bars there, but half the time there was no bartender. When there was a bartender, it would take a while for them to “get ready” to serve. You had to wait a long time for a simple drink. Basically, they need more staff present to serve and man the bars. We would frequently have to go from one end of the resort to the other end (from pool to the beach) just to get one drink. Coffee was only served i [... read more]n one bar, and there was always a line up at that bar. There was also a smell of stale water all around, like the dirty water (maybe sewer water). Wifi was paid ($45 US for 5 days), but only worked well at the indoor areas, not so well at the pool areas. The good: the kids pool is a great area. They could add some light ambiance music over speakers in parts of it though. The beach area was really nice and they offered free snorkeling gear at times. Not sure if thee was a catch to it since I didn’t use them. The nature surrounding the resort was beautiful and calming. Overall the experience was not bad, but I will be looking at a different place if I go back to Mexico.

Grand Oasis Sens: Incredible Experience for First Ever Destination Vacation!

My boyfriend and I took our first vacation ever and we are extremely happy we chose the Grand Oasis Sens! Very friendly staff, enough bars, pools and restaurants to choose from and amazing entertainment. We enjoyed performances in the lobby, foam party at the pool, live bands on the patio, a cabaret show 3 times a week and a FANTASTIC Pirate Ship Cruise on the Thursday! We definitely recommend upgrading to the Sian Ka'an package because it gives you full access to all the amenities and a more pr [... read more]ivate area of the beach if you would prefer to relax more than to party. The Black Hole and Careyes restaurants are included in that package and are amazingly delicious!! Definitely would consider returning in the future, amazing first vacation experience!

Grand Oasis Palm: Clean and tidy

First the good- We thought the hotel was quite beautiful looking with lovely well maintained properties. Smells fantastic. However there are some issues with safety - be sure to check locks on adjoining doors. We had an intruder come through and although the hotel staff finally changed our room we didn’t feel they took the intrusion seriously. Food was average although plentiful. All in all an ok vacation but not fantastic

Grand Oasis Sens: Awesome resort! Poor staff

The resort itself was amazing. Even had private pool on our deck, staff was unfriendly. Didn’t matter if you were the only person at bar with a tip they still ignored ya. The food was amazing. The restaurant, moonlight amazing food, staff was nice there, and if you have to wait they give you a beeper you can go anywhere on resort and they beep it when your table is ready. Your key card is on your bracelet so you never lose your key which is cool. My biggest problem, our second last day som [... read more]eone called our room at 5:44am saying that the police were on way to arrest us which terrified me because my boyfriend and I was sleeping since 9pm the night before, they spoke very little English and when I lost it on them saying there was no way in hell police should be on way because we did nothing wrong we have been sleeping all night , they asked if I spoke Español and then said sorry sorry and hung up. I asked The lobby about it later on in the morning and they didn’t seem to care at all , they just pushed me off. Room service came around at supper time instead of morning which was hard to relax in the room not knowing if or when they were to show

Grand Oasis Cancun: Amazing trip!!!

This resort was amazing! I would definitely go back and would highly recommend. Beach - I love going to the beach and swimming in the ocean. I'd been to Mexico before and knew that some of their beaches were quite rocky, there were coral reefs and not the pristine beaches of Cuba. Hotel/grounds - This is a big resort. There seems to be a quieter end and an end that's more catered towards partying. We were, luckily, located in the quieter end and couldn't have asked for a better spot! Close to the stairs on the second floor and nothing was more than a 5 minute walk in either direction. We had a swim up pool bar on our end, entrance to the beach, a coffee shop and multiple restaurants to choose from. The grounds were lush and well maintained and there were wild peacocks roaming about. Service - Service was good. No one seemed to press for tips and they were all appreciative when they were offered. There were always lots of staff around to answer questions/help out. Food - We had the grand oasis bracelets (not the pyramid exclusive) and there were still 16 restaurants to choose from and over 12 bars. We didn't have time to try them all on our week there! All of the food was fantastic, in particular the BBQ. I don't think there was any meal that I didn't enjoy. I loved that the 'a la carte' restaurants didn't require reservations. To avoid the wait, eating earlier than the majority of the crowd was an option but anytime we had to wait for a table wasn't more than 20-30 minutes. Entertainment - This is billed as the entertainment resort and it didn't disappoint! Smaller versions of 'cirque du soleil' style show 5 nights per week, a casino on site, nightly cabaret and other entertainment. There was also a night club and several bars. There wasn't a shortage of entertainment any night of the week. Location - The hotel is on the strip in Cancun so for $1USD you can hop on the bus that goes up to the market or the city in a matter of minutes. We didn't do any excursions this trip but there were plenty available nearby.

Grand Oasis Palm: Beautiful Resort

We stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm in April 2018. The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is very clean. The food is very good. The beach is great and the pool areas are clean and well cared for. Loved the adults only area. The only complaint would be that our room smelled musty.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Could have been better

If your looking to party or hang out with 20+ year olds this resort is great. The food was mid grade. Our room was cleaned twice in a week... that I was not happy with. I was not happy with the minimum bar options and that there are some bars you can’t get into at all without paying 25$/person per night you stay. The views were nice from the rooms, but the top floors balcony’s are much smaller then the other floors. It was nice to get away but for the extra money I would go somewhere else.
