Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres: Great hotel

This hotel did a wonderful job of making our holiday special. It is not fully open and I wonder if when it is fullly open if the service would be as good The only concern would be the food options not all the restaurants were open perhaps if all were open it would be different they have limited options in each of the restaurants I believe they need to expand their menu

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Beautiful location and facility

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room was fantastic as were the bars restaurants we visited. Pools and beach were clean and lots of room. The resort itself is well laid out and very clean. Staff were excellent however there is still a huge language barrier but they do try their best. Im sure this will improve in time and more interaction with English speaking tourists. Overall 10/10! Cant wait to go back!!

Service was great. We had to change rooms on Monday due to a water leak. Our new room was on the upscale side but we actually liked our old room better. Resort was a little further away from the airport than we thought, 1 1/2 hour ride to get to the resort . 3 stops and we unfortunately were the final stop. Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Fantastic resort!

Secrets Tides is one of the best resorts I have stayed at! Very clean (only two months old!) and the beach is endless with white sand and literally no seaweed. Variety of a la cartes and the buffet restaurant offers different food items every day - always fresh! Staff is always willing to help and are always friendly and courteous!

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Amazing Amazing !

We loved Everything about our stay at Secrets in Akumal. The service was TOP NOTCH. The food was great. The grounds were clean and gorgeous. Our room was perfect. Entertainment was good. Did NOT like the 'time share' presentation. They were very very pushy, extremely 'high pressured' and it affected our happy mood (but we got over it)

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Relaxing Adults Only Resort

Nicely laid out. Rooms clean. Public bathrooms need attention to cleanliness by mid day. Restaurants nicely decorated. Some restaurants good food others not so.Disappointing to not have alcohol in the rooms. Mini bar not replenished with soft drinks - only by calling housekeeping then took 24 hrs.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Great getaway resort

As this was our first time in Mexico we didn’t really know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by pretty much everything. Food onsite was amazing, staff went the extra mile to see to our comfort and wellbeing. Rooms were well kept and modern. Amenities were well appreciated. We were however a little disappointed there was no bottled alcohol in the room. Beach was top notch and activities around the pool area were excellent.

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres: Incredible place!

Beautiful resort! Super chill. 4 night stay was perfect amount of time to reset, relax and eat great food. Brand new, gorgeous rooms, great restaurants, great atmosphere. The staff were all great people! A++. Food was amazing. Great beach and great bar service. I wish the tequila selection was a little better, considering it’s Mexico. We don’t ever return to the same place twice, but will definitely come back here.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Wonderful staff!

All of the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and welcoming. Everyone was incredibly cheerful. The resort is gorgeous, brand new and state of the art. Because the resort is brand new it was only about 1/3 full and they seemed to have as many staff as guests. Unfortunately, they have a few wrinkles to iron out. Many of the staff don’t speak English which makes it quite difficult to communicate with them. Bartenders in the lobby bar are not trained and had difficulty preparing cocktails. Pool temperature was too cool to enjoy and the pool area needs more shady areas. Buffet food was very good, well prepared, fresh and a good variety. We even had half lobsters one evening at the buffet! The staff in the buffet need more training. We would have to ask repeatedly (usually at least 4 times) for cappuccinos or mimosas every morning before receiving them. It seems as if the staff offload to another staff member and another without anyone following through in the order. Both the Italian and Mexican restaurants were very good. Unfortunately, the Seaside Grill and Oceana were extremely poor. My husband suffered with food poisoning for 36 hours after eating at the Oceana and our steaks from the Seaside Grill were well over cooked while the potato and veggies on the plate were cold. Not edible! Service was very poor in both of these restaurants. The main courses were served on top of the dirty appetizer dishes on the table and wine was poured reaching in front of each of us. Definitely staff require more fine dining training if they want to call themselves a 5* resort. This resort has a lot of potential with some tweaking in certain areas and additional training.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Amazing New Resort

This new resort by Secrets is exquisite. The rooms were well appointed. Housekeeping was excellent. Lots of room around the pools with plenty of loungers in sun and shade. Beach was beautiful with lots of seating. Great expanse of sand. Food was excellent from the buffet to the a la cartes. Entertainment was great with lots of variety. Plenty to do during the day and evening.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Absolutely incredible!!

We had the most amazing time at this resort! The property was absolutely stunning! The pools and the beach were beautiful. The resort isn’t massive which we loved! It has a chill vibe. The restaurants we tried were all great … the food was delicious + the service efficient! The BEST part of the entire trip was the staff! Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very nice

The hotel is very well kept, clean etc. The staff was excellent and helpful Food and rooms at the resort was very good. Only downside was the beach was not the best…pools were very good . I would go to a secrets again, but would check out beach in the future.

Secrets Huatulco: Excellent value for money

We absolutely loved our trip to Secrets Huatulco. The king room with a jacuzzi on the patio overlooking the ocean was lovely. The room was clean, modern and spacious. The beach and ocean were pristine. The different pools were a lot of fun. The friendliness of the staff and the service provided were top-notch. The view from the upper level of the property was spectacular. We watched the sunrise on the treadmill from the gym too. We enjoyed breakfast at the Market cafe daily, coffee from Coco, an [... read more]d surprisingly room service was excellent. The Barefoot grill also had great fresh food for lunch. However, unfortunately, the food at the restaurants for dinner was edible/average at best. Dinners really were the only downside at this resort as everything else was excellent. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff and the wonderful conversations we had throughout our stay. Also, the staff running the outdoor activities, kayaking, paddleboarding, volleyball, and archery were super fun. In addition, going into town was safe and easy and highly recommended. This resort is excellent value for money and would recommend it.

Secrets tides have very good room service, clean. Food was amazing. Pools were very clean. I love the service I like the pool classes. Instructor was very nice. Coco bar was amazing . Breakfast and lunch buffet was wonderful

We just got home from an amazing week at Secrets Tides Punta Cana. Everything was absolutely exceptional, from the moment we arrived on the resort to the moment we left. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a pool/ocean view room on the 4th floor, where we were able to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We had a fruit platter and bottle of wine waiting for us. The pools on the resort are stunning a little on the cool side but nothing you couldn't go in, since the resort is still new it was only at 30% capacity, which meant it was not busy anywhere. The staff always wanted to help, at the beach you never had to move to get a drink, pool bars were awesome, restaurants met all of our needs. The staff go way above and beyond to meet your needs, they take the time to get to know you and remember the little things...and that make a huge difference. We would go back in a second.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Too New to be Enjoyable

Fairly new hotel and so lots of things have to be sorted out. The goods: Beach, cleanliness, staff friendliness especially concierge The Bads: Food, food, food...good portions but not cooked well and tasteless, no local a la carte onsite either, lots of pools but water cold, seem to cater to a American clientele, entertainment caters for a younger audience and not much variety, sales gimmick for timeshare I would not recommend this hotel until it has cleaned up some of its starting pains a [... read more]nd get proper foods in the restaurant (maybe a year or so)

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Great Trip

Overall beautiful resort, the location and direction of the pool and the pool bars are perfectly placed. The PREFERRED beach needs a little work I believe just because of the wind directions and the way the sand blows but a little creativity and that can be solved. As with anything in the islands, there is always lost in translation communication when it comes to ordering in restaurants, room service, etc. nothing earth shattering. Not a big deal but worth noting. Housekeeping and minibar, were always on spot and items topped up. Unlike preferred or upgraded clubs at other resorts, You do not get premium liquor in your room. Restaurant were all good. We ate a lot at the Oceana for breakfast or lunch and then tried all restaurants. Nothing disappointed. The buffet surprised me. Very good quality and upgraded options, lots of fresh seafood cooked your way such as shrimp, fresh salmon, fresh tuna, and lobster tails on Saturday. The Japanese was delicious! But our fav was the Oceana and it is beach front ? too many good meals to list them all. Daytime entertainment was good, some days the had a late morning violinist, which was beautiful with the waves in the background and the whole resort still sleepy and calm. Other days a live band in the afternoon which was fun. The night time Entertainment was not so great, no special shows, the whole thing seemed very out dated, and poor sound quality. Not much to do if you want a night life. which suited us fine we usually don’t last past a show anyways.

Secrets St. Martin: Such a special resort!

I've just returned from a week at Secrets St. Martin and I would head right back tomorrow. After reading some reviews I was wary, but Secrets exceeded ALL my expectations. We traveled for my partner's 40th birthday and the resort went out of their way to help celebrate his special day. Our room was lovely and the cleaning staff did a thorough job each day cleaning and restocking anything we needed. Alicia, the bartender at the lobby bar made great drinks and was a pleasure to chat with each day. The pool is outstanding with space for everyone. And the beach is beautiful, private and wonderful for daily swims. Lots of tropical fish to enjoy. All of the a la carte restaurants were a nice experience with no reservations needed (aside from the Teppanyaki restaurant, which is well worth it), tasty food and great ambiance. The buffet was a little underwhelming, but we only ate there at breakfast. We enjoyed the pool side buffet at lunch much more. The location is removed from some of the other bigger towns and cities on the island, which can be a positive if you're looking for relaxing. There's hiking trails close by as well as jet ski rentals (recommend renting from the marina at Island Jet rather than from the beach), and many excursions from the resort. A taxi to Grand Case cost about $13/person. There's also a number of shops just beside the resort that were fun to wander through. I could go on, but overall, I would highly recommend a trip to Secrets St Martin.

Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen: Everything we expected and more…

This is a top notch resort. The staff are perfectly trained in the hospitality sector and know how to take care of customers. Every staff member was completely bi-lingual and introduced themselves immediately. All the meals were first rate with the highlights being Japanese, steak house and the preferred 9th floor restaurant. The evening shows are fantastic with great talent and presentation. I highly recommend this resort. You can be as quiet or as active as you like… Mexico is fantastic…
