Would not return

The main reason I would not go back to this resort is it is so run down - rooms are falling apart and it's dirty. In our first room the lights wouldn't turn on, the second had an ant problem. Food is ok, but worst I've ever had at an all inclusive. The beach is the only redeeming quality, but you get that anywhere is Varadero.

Breezes Bella Costa > Lovely

Breezes Bella Cost is located on a beautiful stretch of Varadero beach. The resort is charming although the rooms could use a little upgrading. It was well run, there was a vast selection of food at every meal and the staff was outstanding > always courteous and friendly. I spent more money on gratuities than on souvenirs, however, they deserved every dollar. I would definitely return to this resort again.

Lovely clean resort

Grounds were well kept , the staff very hospitable, the beach was fantastic, the food- not so bad really, it is Cuba after all and not the place to travel to if you are looking culinary delights is it?

Best Cuban Resort

This was my third time in Cuba and the third resort. The best so far. Public washrooms were clean and always had toilet paper. Good food. Pizza bar is great and was well used by us. Beach is amazing with lots of shade available. The hotel rooms were a little dated but for Cuba, they were great. Front desk staff left a lot to be desired. Were not friendly at all. The waitstaff were amazing though. Entertainment was good. Nice and close to town if you want to leave the resort. I would go back.

Awesome trip!

I had a really great time at breezes bella Costa. The rooms were not that luxurious, but it was clean and still decent. The resort isnt too big, so you dont have to walk long to get from your room to restaurants or pool/beach area. The beach was beautiful, i liked the papayas which gave you shade. For the a la carte restaurants i really liked the italian and japonese ones, the cuban one i didnt like, and the buffet was pretty good. we always found something good to eat. The omelets at the buffet [... read more] are very good and the pizza place at the beach grill is very good also. I also liked the entertainment, they had a show every night and even had an early one for the kids. The staff were very friendly. It was my first time in cuba and i very much enjoyed my time there. I do plan to return to cuba someday:)

Great Family Resort

This resort was very clean, lots of activities in the day and great shows at night. The food was quite tasty, especially the pizza. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great resort for families.

Great staff, Great food and even better beach....plan on returning very soon. Thanks Rein for helping pick this resort as it was exactly what we needed and very kid friendly. Great times had by all.....

Fun Resort everything is right there in the Resort

The staff from the Lobby , cleaning & kitchen , dining Buffet , verything nice & clean, very friendly !! Amazing Entertainment every nite , kudos to all the dancers ! Would have been much better had not me & my husband both got sick , couldn't really eat or drink at all , so much for all inclusive !! :-(( Don't travel without Immodium !!!

Amazing resort but a bit worn out!

Our room was not really prepared when we came, there was a leak from AC, balcony door didn't lock, bath wasn't clean, there was a third bed in the room, next day though they removed all the problems so we could enjoy our stay...

Low end, in need of repairs and upgrades,very poor

Entire hotel in a sad state, needs upgrades and repairs in all areas. Quality of food very poor. Service was not particularly efficient, nor prompt. Dead plants hanging off walls, water dripping from ceilings.

Fantastic Beach!

Beach and ocean are great. Resort is dated. Food is fine at buffet. Very good for families with young children.Stayed in a Supersaver Suite.Bed was terrible.Not one good nights sleep.Would not return.

Good Location, great beaches

Hotel was worn. Great location, great beaches, kept clean. Entertainment was fun. Really annoyed that had to check out of room at 12.00,when we were there until 7.30 pm There was a fee, but did not use the room the previous week, as we did not arrive until 10.30 pm

Great resort for the price!!

My husband and I travelled with another couple March 28-April 4, 2015 and overall had a really good experience. As read on trip advisor, the hotel was a bit dated as far as paint and decor went, but this was by no means a deal breaker for us. The staff kept the grounds and rooms very clean. Our maid was very nice and left us little notes everyday telling us to enjoy our day and thanking us for the tips we left her (a few dollars really goes a long way here). We never seemed to have much trouble finding sun chairs as well, both at the beach and pool (the resort was completely booked the week we were there) The food on this resort was WAY better than the last experience we had in Cuba. We never had a bad meal and always seemed to find something we really enjoyed. The buffet is good and they have theme nights which changes the selection up, but the a la carte restaurants were really well done! I would recommend trying all 3. Lastly, and definitely not least.... the staff on this resort were amazing! Everybody was very friendly and attentive. We had the pleasuring of getting to know a few of the bar tenders well enough and always enjoyed seeing their smiling faces (Sergio, Maria & Frank to name a few). This resort exceeded our expectations as our previous visit to Cuba was quite a poor experience! We would definitely return to Varadero and would stay at the Breezes Bella Costa again!

Beautiful beach

The beach is the best feature of this resort! The food was the least memorable but I did enjoy the pizzas as well as the Italian a la carte restaurant. Room were dated but clean. They do need to get some new pillows...they were flat as a pancake! Micheal Jackson and magic show was the best. Overall....pretty good value. I'd definately return again if they could just kick up the food a notch!

Were pleasantly surprised!

We spent 7 nights at Breezes Bella Costa and really enjoyed the whole time. We had no bad experiences whatsoever. The hotel lobby, bar and room was very spacious and clean. Our balcony was HUGE! and we had a lovely view of the pools, gardens and ocean in the back ground! The courtyard entertainment stopped at 10 each night, so noise at night time was never an issue. The grounds and beach were kept very clean and tidy, despite how many of those tiny plastic cups served at the pool bar must blow in the wind! The food was good - best when they just did Cuban instead of mimicking Italian etc. The fish was great. Love the cappuccinos! Handy proximity to the town of Varadero. Could take the double-decker bus in 10-15 minutes. We also enjoyed walking along the beach to arrive in Varadero in just over an hour - a great way to help ward off those holiday calories. The ocean and beach were fabulous. Always a nice breeze - no bugs! We did two excursions - one was the Jeep Safari into the country side and the other was the Havana Special with a Tropicana show. Both were excellent! Really enjoyed learning more about Cuba. Would go back again for sure and would certainly recommend Breezes Bella Costa to anybody - young or old!

Great value

First time in Varadero. Beautiful beach and ocean. Resort was clean but tired looking. Staff didn't seem as outgoing as other Cuban resorts that I have visited. Food ... Could have had more variety but expected that in Cuba. Overal a good experience.

Had a fantastic time!!!

Breezes Bella Costa in Varadero Cuba is a fabulous resort. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The rooms were clean despite the fact that it may need a facelift in the near future. Grounds and the beach was wonderful. The staff are amazing. We will definitely go back. Had a great time.

Great resort, amazing beach!!

Like many Cuban resorts, Breezes Bella Costa is somewhat dated. They do an excellent job; however, of keeping the place clean and welcoming. Food was better than we expected for Cuba. The a la cartes weren't great, but the buffet and beach grill were good. We had a garden view room in the main hotel part. It was big, clean and had a large patio looking out over the golf course and ocean. The pool area is clean and nice. We travelled with our baby, so it was nice to have the kiddie pool option. T [... read more]he highlights of the resort were the amazing beach and the great lobby bar. These two things absolutely made the trip. I wouldnt hesitate to return to Breezes Bella Costa!

Good Resort

This is a dated resort which is basically well maintained. The staff are generally friendly and well trained. The grounds are well cared for and the beach excellent, although some of the loungers need replaced. The food is generally good but not exceptional. This is a good resort for families.

Value for money

We went to this resort as my daughter's first all inclusive vacation that she had to pay for herself. The beach was great, the food was on the better end for Cuba for sure. While my standards are a little higher, I had no issues, the room was clean although the windows are lacking in sound proofing so if you go to bed early bring ear plugs. All in all it was a great vacation and my daughter said she would return to the same resort for sure.
