Fun in the sun

Great value affordable vacation in Jamaica without compromise. The pool bar centre activities were a blast. Excellent quite area options in multiple pools plus extensive beach areas to explore. Food was beyond expectations with 4 a la cartes each one offering tasty full menus.

Great resort.

Very large .....everyday was an excursion. Lengthly beach but not all good for swimming. Food & serve good. Wonderful water park for children. Check in air canada very organized as well as departure. I would like to try luxury adult section next time.

Very good resort

The resort was very good , good food , comfortable bed , beach was a little rocky however was nice. Service a bit slow however it is Jamaica. Would go back. Very relaxing. Not a wild party spot however still upbeat and fun.

Put your money elsewhere!

The hotel is well kept but it ends there. The staff is rude, no WiFi on the luxury side. They run out of everything including ice daily. The bartenders can’t mix the drinks on the menu at at the pool bars they try and give you premixed drinks. The food is subpar and most of our party of 12 were sick with some stomach issues. We complained to management and they blamed it on everyone but them. Don’t go here far better resorts in Jamaica

Beautiful resort with great beaches!!

Hotel, staff, grounds & beaches were the best we have seen! Love the snorkeling in the “cove” beaches!! We saw three weddings during our week stay and noticed a plaque when checking out that it was ranked the best “Wedding and Honeymoon Resort”, I would agree 100%!! I would highly recommend this resort! We are booking for October 2020 and bringing our 3 children, significant others and our granddaughter because we loved it so much!!

Great Resort

We loved this resort. It’s not too small and not too big. We loved being able to move around. The beach is great as well. The grounds are very well kept. The food was really good: there were all kinds of meat, several types of fish, tons of vegetable options. The service was good as well, majority of the staff members were friendly. We found that the only unfriendly employees were the omelette cooks at the buffet and bar attendants at the lobby bar. The only downside were a bit outdated rooms. [... read more] Especially the bathrooms. The bath tub was grayish because of its age and overall the bathroom looked like it needed some renovations. Also the curtains in the room were a bit dirty. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Great vacation

The resort is beautiful and very big. The restaurants for the most part are in the same area which is convenient. The beach is not great for walking. The service was excellent as long as you tipped. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The resort has been undergoing renovations but there are still areas that need updating. The carpet in the hallways where the elevators are need to be removed. The smells from the carpet are sickening, also the lighting in these areas need to be improved as it i [... read more]s very dark and dingy in the elevator areas.

Very nice resort

all was good except the staff was on edge not very happy. Also the westjet rep not on time the day of departure we missed our shuttle i went there multiple times nobody there they could of left the book out?? it cost 100.00 us for a ride to the airport

Wasn’t impressed

For what I paid and what I got I would not go back. The Italian restaurant ran out of food when we had a reservation. Mosquitos were in my room ( lots of them). Everything closes early and you have to go to the village if you want to stay up.

Amazing resort

Very nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Great food and drinks we enjoyed a lot will consider Bahia Principe in the future. We enjoyed all the alacart dinners. It was nice and safe for all ages.

Everything we wanted! Great resort!

The resort was outstanding. Our room was ready right when we arrived. Quick and easy check in. We had a ocean view room for the first time ever and they gave us the highest floor. Amazing sunset views, along with views of the ocean and resort. The food was great and we enjoyed the specialty meals. We loved the beach and always had endless choices of beach chairs. Amazing stay

The hotel is clean and beautiful. The grounds are well kept and picturesque. The staff was amazing and on point. Alcohol was bountiful. The rooms were clean and the walls were thin and I hear kids in the next room. The housekeepers were nice and pleasant and willing to direct me around as this is a huge resort I did not care for the service from the front desk. The staff huddles and giggles. They preetend they dont see you standing in line. They dont bother to answer their phones. I rang the [... read more]n for 5 minutes and no one answered. They act as if they are doing a favour to the guest. Check in are slow

Beautiful resort

The grounds and pool beach was amazing. We had minor problems with the bathroom door handle falling off. Towels not replaced some days. The food was great. The tours offered was amazing, we enjoyed it tremendously. Love it ..I will go back...one day soon.

Great hotel

Well kept facilities and grounds. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Beachfront resort and amazing view from upper balconies. Entertainment sounded good although I did not have enough time to get involved much.

Amazing week at Bahia

We spent a week here, well organized, staff incredibly friendly and all went out of their way to make our week memorable. There were some issues with a plumbing but the staff was working hard to get the issues worked out. Pool cleaned frequently. Recommend highly.

Ok resort

Hotel is very big, too much walking so was very exhausting to walk to the restaurant and beach from our room. Food was ok, was expecting more and very disappointed how difficult it was to book the al la cartes, tried booking them the night we arrived and 3 out of the 5 were unavailable. Air conditioner was broken in the restaurant one night. Buffet dessert was terrible, very disappointing. Wifi was terrible, unacceptable that it was only available in the lobby. The room was nice, however, someon [... read more]e did try to walk in while my daughter was napping even though I had the do not disturb sign on. The housekeeping lady also seemed to be hanging out in our hall all day. Wouldn't go again to this resort as it was way too much walking.

Resort is ok

Rooms are nice. Staff is excellent. Beaches are really bad. They are extremely shallow. Not good for swimming. Pools are really nice. Entertaining needs improvement. To be fair i was there during rain season so disco was unavailable due flooding. There were no great live performance productions like at other resorts in a theatre. They had small bands up in lobby that were Excellent !! Best place to party would be at karaoke bar but its small so basically guests are entertaining themsel [... read more]ves. Food was ok but im a picky eater so im not one to judge. Sadly up in the large buffet there was never jerk or fried chicken. I will be going back for a wedding. Im going to chose the luxury side this time and see how it goes.

BEAUTIFUL RESORT

The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was good. Entertainment could be better and more attention should be given to safety features. Example: more grab handles in the showers and around stairs

Fanastic stay at this resort

Emloyees were friendly and helpful, great food and entertainment. Decent beach with a fanastic sunset area in the evening. Bar hours could be longer but bartenders were very professional and fast. Great experience.

Good food

The food was amazing, the people at the pool were happy!! The custumer service at the lobby was a little too long! The Italian restaurant was not good and also snack bar. Pool close at 6pm it was a little early even the beach !!!
