Good Times in Jamaica

This was our mother & daughter trip we both enjoyed in early June 2015. As my daughter is away in universtiy and working all summer, this was our way to relax and reconnect. The weather was sunny, no crowds in June so there were no line-ups or mad rush to "reserve" a spot by the pool or the beach. The beach had white sand, with a very gentle slope, there were plenty of shade/trees which was nice to get repreive from the sun. Our tripcentral agent Nicole helped us to ultimetly decide on this resort, and we were very pleased. I would recommend it for anyone who needs to get away and relax Jamaican style.

Really nice resort with friendly staff

the grounds are well kept, the staff are very welcoming. the jamaican food is great. the breakfast at little river buffet always serve satisfying. they have enough activities for everyone of all ages.

WONDERFUL!

Checked in by Shelly. We couldn't get a room close to our family members (they booked with a different travel service) so she upgraded us to an ocean view, her idea, because she was sorry she couldn't get us close to my "mommy". That was the beginning of many wonderful surprises at this resort. Low end? If the service at this end of the resort is low end, then they must be fed with golden spoons at the Suites and Grand. He not only told us the best way to get there, but stopped what he was doing to escort us to the door. They went above all expectations and never made us feel like we were a bother. We actually felt like we were at a family function much of the time. We are not big drinkers, but we enjoyed many of the mixed drinks. The servers and bartenders would make us up something when we had no idea what to order, and, oh yeah, they can mix some drinks! Miami Vice....enough said. The food was very good, even the buffet. Many selections, usually good and hot (depending on how long it takes you to make your plate and return to your table) and again the service was fast and very friendly. The a la cartes (make your reservations as soon as you can) are very, very good. The steaks are excellent!! The rooms are clean, comfortable and large. They are a little dated, but the service, beach and food were above my expectations, so a little bit of "needs updating" was the least of my concern. Check out, like check in, was quick and efficient. If you want to go to Jamaica and have great food, service and entertainment, not to mention the beautiful beach and sunsets.....Then this resort is for you. Don't bother spending extra money for the "higher ends" of this resort because, in my opinion, the service couldn't be better. Of course, we didn't ask for room service, so if you want that and the extras that go along with that, then great, by all means check out the Suites or Grand. Otherwise, I highly recommend the beach end of this resort. Relaxed and full of flavor! Thanks Trip Central and Iberostar Beach for a wonderful vacation! Can't wait to return!

Awesome Resort.

The overhaul experience was awesome. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the hotel was very clean. If was very nice to go to a resort where people speak english and there was no language issues. The bar tenders at the pool bar where very friendly and always willing to have a chat. Would go back tomorrow.

Awesome Resort!!

Our stay at this resort was just fabulous. Myself, my husband and our friends enjoyed everything about Iberostar, Montego Bay. The location was a quick 15 minute bus ride and the transfer arranged by Trip Central was smooth and comfortable. Our room was big, bright and clean as a whistle. The food was delicious at both the buffet and the A LA Cartes. The beach and pool area was also clean and well kept. The lazy river was an extra bonus even for us adults!! All and all this was a great resort and I would definitely return for another terrific vacation and recommend it to all my friends!!

A very nice resort

The Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort was a wonderful resort. The grounds were very beautiful. Intertainment was awesome. The food was great. The people so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beach was grand and the pool, lets just say beautiful and lots of fun.

Beautiful spot

Everything was kept up nicely. Grounds were nice. People were great, always happy & smiling. Beach was beautiful. Pool could use more cleaning at times during the day. It was really nice to see designated smoking area's here.

Staff are fantastic

The resort is beautiful, the staff are fantastic, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. We didnt eat at any of the a la carte restaurant, as we loved it at the Little River buffet for all our meals, the selections and variety is comparable to a cruise ship....unbelievable... would recommend to anyone, the only complaint, is there wifi is unreliable...

Nice place but not 4 star

We were looking for a last minute deal at a 4 star. The place is rated 4-5 stars but it is closer to a 3+ star. The room was comfortable and clean. Furnishings could use updating. Pool and beach areas were in fair to good shape. The entertainment crew was lethargic at best. The wait staff were very nice and attentive. The food was fair except for the jerk chicken which my husband said was great. The drinks were good.

Beautiful resort

Great resort. Hotel is beautiful. Pool/beach are lovely. Good food, great staff, nice location. We took our 12 & 15 yr old daughters, and felt very safe and cared for. The only drawbacks - double beds instead of queens, and it would have been nice to have the pool open in the evenings.

Worth every $

Everything was great at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. The Resort was clean with friendly staff. Food was amazing with lots of choices. We don't have any complaints. Hope to go back again some day.

Best vacation ever!

We went together with another couple to this fantastic resort for a week. Between us all, we have been to multiple Caribbean destinations, and between all four of us, we all agree that this resort has far exceeded our expectations. It had everything we hoped for and more. So friendly at attentive and worked so hard. The bar staff were extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and the drinks were creative and amazing! Everywhere we went was clean and things were maintained or in the process of being upgraded. The food was the best we have experienced at any resort. We never tired of the buffet but the a la cartes were an extra bonus and so good! The beach was ok but as per some reviews, it did have some seaweed. However the pool was overlooking the beach and we mostly hung out there. There is pretty good snorkeling right off the beach though so that was a nice surprise. We did an excursion to go snorkeling at the marine park and margaritaville. The next day we went to the luminous lagoon. A must see for sure! The joint excursion was excellent value and again great staff on the Dressel divers crew. All in all we had a fantastic week and while we like to explore new places, this is one we would definitely return to. I do not understand the negative reviews, this place is amazing!

Beautiful resort

We spent an amazing week at this resort. It was a family vacation, there was 6 of us and we had 3 rooms, not one of us had a problem. Our rooms were clean, the food was great and the service at this resort was excellent. Tadine on the beach was a joy to see each day and always ready to take care of your needs.. Happiness comes with excellence

This was our second stay at this resort and although we noted a few changes, overall the quality of this hotel is excellent. The grounds are well groomed and maintained, buildings well cared for, public areas very clean and rooms well cleaned and supplied well with everything we needed. The entertainment staff is amazing, working from early morning, late into the night. He was so respectful and so energetic, a very amazing young man. The whole entertainment team on this resort is amazing. From sports to evening entertainment, just excellence. I have only one complaint about this resort. The service in the buffet dining room at times was not the best. Very few of the wait staff introduced themselves and did not engage in any form of conversation. At times did not remove dirty plates between courses. It didn't happen at every meal but this is the one place I noted a change from our last visit to this resort. Some of the wait staff was amazing but you could sure feel the difference when staff enjoyed their work and when they did not. Not really sure if there were a lot of new staff or what was happening but it did not feel good. The food was just as amazing as ever. Hot food was hot, and cold food was cold. The other thing I noted was little to no hand washing by the staff. It kind of worried me as dirty dishes would be handled and then back to clean dishes with no hand hygiene. Overall I still have to say this is one of the nicest hotels and I would highly recommend it to others.

Amazing: Service, Food, Weather

The hotel offers services in close proximity to all facilities. It is super clean and safe. The staff are impressive, enthusiastic, caring, and always delivered a first class service. The food was tasty and excellent with a large variety of meats, vegetables and fruits. There was a great selection of food for vegetarians. Staff served with a smile and aimed to please. This is definitely worth a return visit! Thanks to everyone.

Great nice sized resort.

Stayed at the Beach Resort Mar 3-10. Beautiful weather, 10mins of rain all week. All staff were great Star Friends were a lot of fun.(twitter,breezey,chocolate)tks. Special shout out for our lobby bar bartender President aka(percisily). Good selection of food at buffet eggs,bacon,pork,chicken,beef,salads,fruit, and many good deserts. Easy to get around resort. Wonderful Resort with the Friendliest Staff

This resort has beautiful grounds with a great pool area and outstanding beach. There was "No Problem". Always could get a lounge near the pool or on the beach, in the sun or in the shade. All of this and helpful staff too. We will go back.

Great Resort! Third time back!

Once again we stayed at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. As usual, the service was great and the accommodations were also great! The are doing some upgrades to the garden (tile replacement) area so it will be very nice for our next trip.

Bet nive

Wonderful beach, food, and drinks. Staff friendly- particularly if you tip. Hotel rooms very nice and grounds well kept. Evening shows ok- I thought better shows in Cuba. Shopping trip to Montego bay not worth it unless you like overpriced trinkets- things actually cheaper at hotel. Only disappointment- barely any Raggae music. Dunns waterfall trip- no guide- there is lots to see and do but the guided trip driver leaves you at the entrance with no guidance- ask lots of questions.
