Great atmosphere Beautiful beach amazing food The room was very nice Service at both the restaurants and the beach was wonderful the entertainment in the evening was about the best i have seen at an all inclusive

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Pretty good hotel

The hotel is beautiful very clean and well maintained .Staff were friendly When we arrived a group of 6 of us they had 2 in building 3 2 in building 10 and 2 in building 11 after some complaining the desk guy got all 6 of us in building 3 so that made us happy .The 2 buffets were great quite a variety everyday found kalidascope a lot quieter than windows but overall both were good .The only restaurant all of us went to was chopsticks the food and chef were wonderful .The pool was clean and very [... read more] lively daily .Activities going on music playing was pretty good but busy.The beach had lots of seaweed every morning but they had it all cleaned up by 10 it is very close to a marina so lots of boats to see getting loaded to go on excursions again lots of daily music and activities going on .White soft sand and pretty good views .overall our group had fun and not to much to complain about but there is a few and they are as follows no Spanish coffees at all .yes you can get coffees and capachinos but all in paper throw away cups .The resort is huge and very very busy so long lines to get coffees not alot of seating in shade to enjoy said coffees .Long lines at most restaurants except the buffets .Alot of vendors bugging you everyday at beach and pool.Pool chairs and beach chairs need to be saved early and when you get them everybody is so close you can't really move them around to stay in shade of umbrella so you fry .Hard to get a spot in the pool without getting volley balls flying around or kids jumping in almost on top of you so keep that in mind .The rooms were very nice beds were comfortable pillows were also comfy .One maid wouldn't give me bottled water in the evening but the day maid gave me 6 bottles the next day so that was good. We really enjoyed hanging out in the evening at the sports bar it had a nice patio to dance on so we brought our own speaker and did that most nights and Richard is an absolute gem of a bartender he took great care of us all week and makes the best chocolate martinis we loved him and his sense of humor he was great ❤️ So if you like alot of people and vendors and line ups this is a great resort .

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Wonderful place!

Staff were very friendly, food was amazing rooms were clean and grounds were well kept. The adults only is also a bonus! Top shelf alcohol was a bonus as well. No reservations for al la cartes was nice also

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Good enough for the price

I write this at home horrendously ill with travellers diarrhea which started 24 hours after returning, I thought I dodged a bullet but no such luck. The resort is a 6/10 but for what we paid I’m ok with that. I had very low expectations going in after reading reviews so I was actually pleasantly surprised. If food is a high priority for you, do not stay here. If you just want to chill and drink a lot it’s perfect. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Large Hotel

Hotel is large with beautiful grounds and beach. Food overall was good, breakfast at Ipanema was excellent including the service. Rooms are large. Check in service/experience was horrible and ruined the first 2 days of our trip. Took over 1.5 hours to check in to find out rooms were not ready but there was 30 concierge standing around with tablets trying to sell you a Vacation Club membership. When brought to the room the door handle on shower was hanging down, toilet seat loose and the tile was [... read more] broken by the sofa bed. Room was noisy and when asked to get moved the experience was horrible and took the entrie next day and a waste of time as nobody knew what we were talking about even though apparently notes were made in the system and they took our cell numbers down. It is unfortunate because this was our second stay at the hotel and even though the hotel was new the first time we went the overall experience was significantly better and a postivie experience. Unfortunatley this time we were travelling with some family that we recommended the hotel to and they were disappointed and commented on how they felt that the first interaction upon arrival left them with a negative overall experience.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: A little overpriced for the product

cocktails and drinks overall were disappointing mostly syrups and very little quality. Buffet breakfast and dinner were disappointing, although lunch was great. Dinner a la carte at the steak house and the Zen were great the rest were average at best.

Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort and Spa: A Nice Resort Too Far From Airport

We landed at 12:35pm at Punta Cana Airport, but with such a large plane, using the buses to the terminal it took about 45 minutes just to get into the terminal. The drive to the hotel took about 115 minutes over a rough road in some places. The resort itself was very nice, and having our rooms in the same building as the lobby was very nice. Checking in was pretty easy, and the staff superb. The room was nice and clean and spacious, and the balcony nice too. One shortcoming was the lack of clocks on buildings, inside and out. Washrooms were hard to find, and very small. Some of our party of eight wanted to enjoy the beach, but it was impossible, with heavy undertow and black flags all week. When we walked "off property" in both directions, we saw very nice beaches with low surf that would have been much more enjoyable. We were in the Dreams section, and the two main pools there were very good; however, the jacuzzi were almost never fully on, and the water in them was cold in the elevated one, and mildly warm in the other. The poolside bars and grills were very good. The theatre entertainment was generally top notch, except the music was way too loud every time. The Tierra restaurant was exceptionally good, and several others were great. The buffet was very good, both at breakfast and lunch times. I would want to be positive, but the distance from the airport and the not-so-good beach explains why I would not recommend this resort to friends. The buildings, pools, restaurants and grills would attract many. Bottom line: We did have a great time and have no regrets. The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff were high points.

The hotel is definitely a luxury, very good for a couple and a family. Good beach, average restaurant, wonderful amenities, thank you for the recommendation Mr Lawrence. Royalton Splash has very good entertainment

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort

The Hotel was spacious and clean .Great layout to all the amenities. The food was oooh so good , fresh and great variety. Very pleased . Wasn't very pleased with the sports bar if was too small .For such a large resort with hundreds of guests to have such a small evening dancing area didn't make sense .however great vacation had by all .

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Beautiful Resort

This was our first time staying at Melia,10 days. We upgraded to The Level Suite Tropical Palms. The room itself was a bit smaller than expected, but the cleaning staff did a great job keeping everything spotless. The resort and the grounds were stunning—well kept and beautifully maintained—and the sargassum was cleaned off the beach daily. It’s well worth upgrading to The Level, if only for access to The Quimera Bar, Restaurant, and Rooftop Bar. We had most of our breakfasts there and enjoyed [... read more] lunch and dinner twice each. The staff were always very friendly and eager to help in any way they could. Albania Casimir, the hostess at Quimera during breakfast and lunch, was especially welcoming and even helped me learn a few words in Spanish. Most mornings, Moises Sanchez was our waiter—he always had a smile and entertained us with his great bird calls! Adriana Baez was the standout bartender; her drinks were always perfect, and she quickly learned our preferences. There was another bartender working with Adriana who was equally excellent, though unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. Our go-to spot for after-dinner drinks was the Rooftop Bar. It offers a beautiful view of the beach and pool, and it’s especially gorgeous at night. The top-shelf drink selection was somewhat limited, but the live entertainment made up for it. Karaoke nights were a lot of fun, and Yadenni Rubio brought amazing energy and did a great job engaging guests and encouraging participation. She also coordinated some of the activities I joined (coffee tasting and mud therapy), and she did an excellent job. We also tried the Vietnamese restaurant and were somewhat disappointed. My husband ordered rice with shrimp and calamari but received 1 shrimp and very little calamari, although the flavour was good. Overall, we found the restaurant options somewhat limited, and the buffet tended to taste the same regardless of the cuisine theme. My one complaint would be the poor service we received at The Level reception. Upon arrival we were handed an envelope with a resort map and nothing more—no directions on where the restaurants were or which section of the beach we could use. When we tried to book our complimentary massage session, one staff member couldn’t reach the spa by phone, sent a group text instead, and said he would email me when he received a response. I never heard back. We eventually booked a massage session with a gentleman on the beach who was taking reservations. Later, we went back to The Level reception to try to reschedule our appointment for the following day. The staff member assisting us again couldn’t reach the spa, sent another group text, and asked us to wait in the lounge. After waiting half an hour, we went to check back and he was nowhere to be seen—so we eventually just left. Overall, we had a great time and met some wonderful people. The entertainment crew were outstanding, and the property itself is absolutely gorgeous. Would I go back? I’m not entirely sure. We’ve stayed at many five-star resorts and know what to expect, and the lack of attention from The Level staff was somewhat disappointing—especially considering that’s what we were paying for.

Riu Republica: Ok resort

Positive. Always something to do at the resort. Food is not the best at all. Enough to eat and not starve but really not great. Rooms are outdated , ac doesn’t work well, water switches from hot cold and showers are difficult to have. Far walls to rooms- due to large resort. Would I go again, no . It was a nice stay but will try other resorts. Not easy to get things to room

Ocean Blue and Sand: The best all round resort we have been to

For our interests, this has been the best resort we have been to. Excellent beach for walking and swimming. Lots of additional activities both free and paid. Para sailing, banana tube,sea doo tube. Many excursions, water and land. Love the resort layout, and building architecture. Great for kids as well.

The resort is beautiful!!! It has 10 3-store buildings. We had a pool view room on the third floor. The room is very comfortable and clean with the balcony. There are 2 nice pools - you have to occupy the lounger there early in the morning. The same on the beach - the beach area is small for this large resort. The longers under umbrella on the beach are limited and are very closed to each other. The ocean is beautiful!!! It was a bit wavy during our stay but it's so beatiful. The food/bars are v [... read more]ery good. There are transfer cars driving you around the resort - very convinient if you are tired and do not want to walk. However, the walking around is also very good - everything is not too far. We liked the coffe shop there - amazing cappuchino. There is flamingo Pinky lives there on the green area -it was amazing to see her every day sleeping or awake. We had to leave at 4 in the morning - a day before that I have asked in the Guest service if they can provide the car to get to the lobby and they did. Overall the service is great!!! Riu Bambu: Riu Bambu

Hello ? It was my second time at Riu Bambu, amazing resort, very clean, the food was fresh and great variety to choose from. Shows for kids and adults every night, lots of fun. Everyone is very friendly and helpful....going back again ?✈️

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Overall A Great Experience

I went down to the Wyndham Alltra to meet family members for a five day trip. Check-in is very easy, I ended up paying extra halfway through my trip and upgrading to the poolside rooms. Highly recommend it because you don’t have to try and nab a lawn chair early in the morning as they go fast. With the poolside rooms you get to stroll in and out of your room easily and you have your own lawn chairs. The pool goes forever. You can walk up and down and swim and hey plenty of exercise. The water a [... read more]erobics classes at noon were wonderful. À la cart can be a long wait, specifically for the steakhouse and the Italian, but the Italian was well worth the wait. I never did go to the steakhouse. I really enjoyed the Mexican Al La Carte. The pizzas were great at the snack bar as a mid afternoon snack. My brother had the VIP hello package and it is very convenient to be able to go for a coffee and a snack at the VIP lounge at any time during the day. It is very difficult to get a VIP package and poolside room though. There was never a shortage of food and we were very pleased after every buffet visit. The staff are very accommodating and very friendly. I highly recommend!

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Fantastic resort!!

I just returned from a 2 week vacation at Ocean El Faro El Beso resort in Punta Cana. The resort was absolutely fantastic! There was so much selection for meals and everyone was great! A coffee shop with sandwiches and fresh baked goods, smoothies, fruit drinks. An adults only restaurant at the beach with buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. French,Italian and Japanese restaurants. The entire resort was immaculate. The staff even wiped down the chair legs in the lobbies every  [... read more]evening! Multiple swimming pools, a lazy river with a bar in the middle! Kids mini Waterpark. Great shows. Beautiful piano bar open for quiet moments open every evening. I can't wait to go back!! For me this place is beyond 5 stars!

Our butler was great. The building concierge was fantastic. Short resort tram ride to beach. Overall had a great time. Riu Republica: Wonderful resort

Had a wonderful time the resort was amazing. The staff very friendly.. The resort is very large lots of hotels and bars pools. The food was really good. The only complaint I had is the buffet food was cold and the beds were a little hard, but something I could live with.

The Riu Republica was fantastic. I’d give it a 4 rating. The only complaint I have is I had to ask for clean dishes a few times. They could definitely do better with that!The food selection was fantastic. Our room was fantastic and well kept. We did leave Spanish notes with gifts and tips. Resort was full but never felt full. No waiting for a drink. No having trouble finding a chair. Entertainment was great. People and staff were friendly and fun. They had games during the day and prizes . I won [... read more] at darts twice lol . Apparently I’m really good at darts in beach sand and sun with a drink ha ha. Honestly I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Loved it! It was a great time. Never felt overly noisy . Sprayed ourselves with no scent musk oil ever evening. Didn’t get one bug bite. Never got sick. People complain for nothing. Oh and never waited more than a few minutes for a drink.
