Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

From the minute we entered the lobby until we left this resort everything was perfect. The food was delicious with a huge variety of A la Carte. The staff is always there to help and always smiling. I can’t wait to go back next year. The adults only section pool was superb and our swim up room was perfect.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great Vacation Spot!

Everything is top of the class in this resort, above all is the food quality that is top notch! The night entertainments can be improved, but this is not to say there is not plenty to do already. Definitely recommend, especially to couples looking for a peaceful and restful get away!

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Very nice resort

Although we stayed in the older part of the resort, it was well maintained. There were several restaurants to choose from and all of the ones we went to were terrific. All of the restrooms were cleaned very frequently. This resort had a great range of guests from young couples to seniors and it was easy to share tables if needed. The staff in all parts of the hotel were friendly and happy. We enjoyed our 1 week vacation very, very much.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Can’t wait to return!!

The resort is gorgeous and immaculate. The staff go above and beyond at all times. I have never stayed anywhere else that pay so much attention to the guests. Entertainment was awesome!! Great bands. 80’s, Jazz, reggae. The had it all. The food went beyond anything I imagined. Definitely try the “Stone Soup” it’s so good!!! Would highly recommend this resort!! It was the most relaxed I’ve ever been on any vacation. The spa is not to be missed.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Winter Escape

This will be my first time writing a resort review, but I thought I had some good information to share. I will start with saying that the El Dorado Seaside Suites is a very large property, however they have shuttle service that runs very frequently so if you have mobility issues it would be too hard to walk every where being so spread out. It is also over 80km from the Cancun airport so take note of the long drive to your destination depending on the time you arrive, we happen to hit rush ho [... read more]ur and it was pouring rain adding more time to the trip,so it felt like a very long drive. The food is amazing ... with many dining options. There is a Starbucks in building 6 but take note it is not included in your package so you will be paying for that separately, two Cappuccinos was about $8 US and they didn't seem to have any evening hours, so we just started ordering our coffee at the restaurants .. A coffee bar would have been nice at certain times... They offer plenty of daytime activities, wine and tequila tasting, foam party in main pool, name that tune, coconut painting to name a few and the entertainment team were awesome. They are plenty of things to attend in the evening after dinner.... they had a fire show, and a circus show while we were there and often different areas that have things going on rather then at a main theatre like other resorts but, there is entertainment, it just seemed to be a little more low key and on a smaller scale. We had a oceanfront swim up jacuzzi suite, in the Infinity section. It was on the 2nd floor and from our deck there was a lazy river that ran around the side of the building, at first I thought this would be great however it was covered and shaded so the water was very cold. The lower level oceanfront pool swim out rooms have direct access to the main pool but take note those rooms seemed to only get sun in the morning and do cost more. I would say it was harder on the Infinity side by the pool to get full sun then shade and usually its the other way around, finding shade is never a problem here the seating areas around the pool have tons of palm trees above you. If your a sun worshiper you might want a spot on the beach instead, but the beach on the Infinity side is not great for swimming its very rocky. But there is a lovely sandy beach on the palm side of the resort for wading but again no swimming its very shallow. So if your a beach lover you may be disappointed. The resort staff are wonderful no complaints. I think this resort is very suitable for some much needed R& R, its a nice winter escape, it offers great service, great food, comfy beds and nice clean rooms everything is well maintained and all deserve the 5* rating. However for me I didn't like the access to the pool (climbing a few levels of stairs to get into the pool )and the beach was not my favorite and then the long drive from the airport so for those personal reasons I may not recommend this property.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great stay at The Fives Azul

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. We travelled with our 1.5 yr old daughter and the room setup and layout of the resort made it enjoyable. We had a ground floor, 1 bedroom suite steps from the pool. The pools are spread out along most of the rooms so most people are close to a pool. This was perfect for us as we could be at the pool with our baby monitor and baby napping 20 feet away. The double balcony allowed us to easily slip outside when she napped as well. The food was good  [... read more]for the most part. The room service food wasn’t great. The downfall for us was that there are no informal dining options or places to grab food to go. Our little one wasn’t interested in sitting down 3 times a day and it also made it difficult to find snacks for her between meals. Unfortunately my husband and I both got food poisoning one night after eating at the Koh Thai restaurant. The beach is small but nice clear sand and water which they work hard to maintain. The grounds are very lush and extremely well maintained. Despite the food poisoning we would likely return.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Great place for families with small kids

Great programming, wonderful service and vibe. Loved our room and view. Lots of small kids as the Sensatori and Nickelodeon are combined so would not reco if you are looking for quiet by the pool. Food I thought was very good and the overall quality of everything was very high. The water is so nice and warm. They also seem like an environmentally conscious resort which I really appreciated. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: The food!!!

The Fives Azul Beach Resort is THE place if you want to have delicious food. Every meal, with the exception of the buffet, was AMAZING. We didn't expect to have sushi in Mexico, but we visited the Oka restaurant twice because it was so good!! And the Italian restaurant was a 5-star too! and don't even get me started on the shrimp tacos at the beachside restaurant. Azul Beach Resort Negril: Beautiful resort!

The Azul SENSATORI is beautiful. We truly enjoyed walking the long, white sandy beach, swimming in the clear blue ocean and soaking up the sunshine. The food was good with lots of variety. We enjoyed the extra touches like infused water, picking out an all-natural scented soap, room scent and choice of pillow. The hotel grounds & pools were kept well and very clean. As an FYI the adult only buildings are situated between the other buildings so not really separate. Also we had to change rooms in [... read more] building 8 as there was a constant water gurgling noise, we couldn’t sleep! We were on the first floor I think it came from the pool filter. We overheard other people complaining as well. Our second room in building 11 was nice. The restaurants cater to food allergies and there are two nice coffee/smoothies/ice-cream bars. The couples massage at the spa was very relaxing! The nightly entertainment consisted of solo or small group vocalists, they were good. Just to note, the resort gets very quiet around 10pm.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Perfect Holiday

One week at El Dorado Seaside Suites wasn’t enough. The days flew by. The resort is beautiful, the food excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything is top-notch. We will definitely be returning.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Great time

We loved this hotel, grounds are beautiful and clean. Anything we asked for was attended to within 10 minutes. The food was above average and my son had a great time, we would go back. The Wok Wok restaurant was our fave!

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Met our expectations!

The atmosphere was great. Lots of greenery. Many bars and restaurants. Food as great!! Lots of options. Beach was nice, but shallow, but nice because fish swim around you. I recommend it! You can stay low key or around the party. Lots of places to hang out like you’re in a different place everyday.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: best yet

we have been to several hotels in Maya and have to say best service and food ever.rooms are spotless and huge .only downfall is beach area is rocky and small . The staff were quick at getting any info you needed and friendly .will definitely be back soon !!

Selection Riviera Cancun: Pleasant resort

It was pleasant but unless you go to the premium section, it doesn’t qualify as 5 stars. On the plus side: excellent barmen and waiters, always helpful and generally friendly staff; clean grounds, great swimming pools, generally good food with enough variety. On the minus side: rooms are a decent size (we had the family suite) but are rather long and rectangular so that each room success each other along the long axis, ending up in a smallish balcony ( but with nice couch seating and cushi [... read more]ons). The beach is ok, a lot o seaweed during our stay but they worked hard to clear it fast.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Nice Hotel but Too many mosquitos

Hotel was nice, swim up suite is great with pool bars you can swim/walk to .Rooms are nice, but loud air conditioners and bar fridge Concierge services, but they don't do to much... talk a good plan, to no effect A Lot of un-maintained palms, so be careful of falling fronds and coconuts. Water at beach is only a couple of feet, so if you like sitting instead of swimming, you will like this restaurants where OK, nothing to special and Mexican should be sooo much better in Mexico, poor service [... read more] and food, with all kind of people waiting inside the restaurant for a table.. on large guy would not even move to let us out.. Italian was the best! You also have to get up early (5.30am) to get bed on beach and by 8 for a decent chair.. No bars in lobby 's, and very little entertainment, just band or singers in sea side bar... not enough chairs and tables for everyone.. We liked the hotel, but would not return, as there are too many mosquitoes and they do not spray.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: 5 STAR RESORT

Room was fabulous! King size bed was sooooo comfortable and resort offered a 'pillow bar' which I greatly appreciated. Huge bathroom with large jacuzzi. Swim out pool off the balcony was really neat concept but water was cold. The building, grounds were immaculate. Food was GOURMET. Best food I have ever eaten at a resort. Personal Concierge was AWESOME (Santiago :)). Staff were friendly and helpful. High quality spirits were served at all the bars. Love the fact that this resort is self-sustainable. All vegetables and herbs were grown in their own organic gardens......FRESH PLUS! The only let down was the beach attached to the El Dorado Suites. Undesirable! if you wanted to experience a beach you had to go to the adjacent property. Overall, wonderful experience.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Outstanding! Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana

I am still amazed at how incredible our week at the Niceklodeon resort was. I took my wife and two boys (ages 3 and 6) down for one week and everything was top notch. The people were extremely friendly, the food was incredible, our swim-up flat suite was amazing, and the resort was new, clean, and immaculately kept. This resort was right on par with most of the 5* adults-only resorts my wife and I travel to. The beach is gorgeous but it's windy and rough, so this is not your resort if you want a [... read more] very calm ocean experience. Kids had a great time at Aqua Nick, which has a bunch of lifeguards working at all times, so we were fine leaving our 6 year old experienced swimmer play in the water park while we were at nearby chairs. The ONLY criticism I have for the entire week was our dinner experience at Spacewalker. I loved the concept and we were excited for this dinner, but unfortunately our server didn't speak a word of English and some of our appetizers were already sitting on the table before we sat down. We noticed the same at other tables that had yet to have guests seated at them. They tried to get creative with the food for the theme of the restaurant, which I get is fun, but it didn't work. Otherwise the food was incredible and I'm still working on taking off the lbs from our week there! For a family with kids from ages 2-8, I couldn't recommend this place more. Amazing!

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

This is the second time I've been to this resort. It was wonderful! The food is great, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and always ready to help and the grounds are immaculate. We all had a great time. Especially the grandkids.

The grounds are beautiful, and very well maintained- there is always someone working on keeping it looking good.The rooms are clean and comfortable- there was not any availability of 2 beds in a room, which was difficult for non couples guests. Adding that option might offer more flexibility. The Palms section could use an update - the rooms look a bit dated. Beach is not the best for people that enjoy long walks, as there is a lot of seaweed, despite the hotel's efforts to clean it. We have been to this resort several times , and enjoy it every time . Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Wonderful family vacation

My husband and our two children (aged 6 months and 2 years) stayed at the Nickelodeon resort from Feb 22/19 - Mar 1/19. I had emailed ahead to request a crib for our room. The crib was not in our room upon arrival but came within 10 minutes. We had a flat swim-up suite, which was amazing due to how often the children napped. We never got to try many of the restaurants because the kids go to bed early. The main buffet was good for breakfast and supper. The food there was okay. We tried room service a couple of times out of convenience but we were not impressed with the food. The coffee shop Doppio was fantastic! The always had fresh cookies, donuts, fruit, yogurt and delicious cakes!! This is the first resort I’ve been to that had really good deserts. The staff were all very friendly and really tried to make the children happy. The beach has big waves but is stunning! The characters make frequent appearances at Aqua Nick so we didn’t bother with the character breakfast. All in all a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend!!
