Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Absolute Garbage

Our party arrived on December 19,2023 and upon arrival check in was horrid. We were checked in without wrist bands and the staff was going to use a sharpe marker to change the bracelet colour. The first night we ventured to the buffet as obviously we couldnt have an la carte booked that soon so we utilized Turquesa's buffet. I was so disappointment with the buffet. Here you seem so happy to see the menu that includes tacos,ice cream, chessy fries etc. However you can only oder a hotdog,hamburger,french fries and sometimes chicken nuggets and empanadas. After ordering everything on the menu the only time you could ingest the food is if you had been drinking otherwise it was not edible. We searched everynight for any souce of night life and nothing this resort is very quiet like ghost town at night probably because everyone is in their room vomiting from all the bad food that they ingested during the day this was or had come to our attention when we were in our room and we could hear people in the surrounding rooms vomiting we actually had to call the reception to do something about it. Even when eating at the restuarant people were vommiting it was disgusting. The beach is so far away and have shuttles that are labelled L1,L2,L2 etc however you could wait all day for one to shuttle you to the beach. When you do get to the beach there are a.selected few beach chairs if any. The staff made it seem like we were bothering them and on several occassions the staff were rude until you spole their language then the attitude shifted. Our group needed bug spray and it cost us $20 usd The only good entertainment is once a week on a thursday and you have to pay extra for it. The worst and most disgusting was having cochroaches in the buffet area and in and around the bar by the pool. The staff did not seem to care as people were videoing their disgust. I have travelled many times to punta cana and never had an experience like this one. Avoid at all costs . The cheaper is not always better In this case the more expensive your trip the less you get there..if you have a reservation please.rebook somewhere else you will thank me later .

Impressive Premium Punta Cana: Impressive Premium Beautiful and clean resort

Beautiful and clean. Entertainment staff especially Raiza, were great and tried to get everyone involved. Premium bartender Juan was amazing and lots of fun. Lots of food. Pools, beach and the whole resort is very clean.

If you are looking for a relaxing, sun soaking, entertaining, beach walking holiday enjoying genuine hospitality THIS IS THE SPOT FOR YOU! This resort is clean, intimate, quiet with latin music always in the background, on the beach, with beautiful grounds. We believe a review should be about the vacation experience, not what temp the AC got to, or how strong the Wifi is, and our experience was a 10! Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: A BIG HIGH FIVE ? and ?

Been at the Palladium 5 times over a 15 year period and again we will give it ?????????? stars. The grounds and beach are tropical and spotless, ocean is colourful. The selection of food/deserts is through the stratosphere, we’re not kidding. Kinda crazy but our diet is plant base and there is no shortage of choice for us. Grilled steak, chicken, pork, seafood with fresh bread/buns or hamburgers, hotdogs and pizza, this place is just crazy with what it offers. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Disappointed

Not at all what we expected. People smoking everywhere, unfriendly and unhelpful staff, poor service and mediocre food. Beach was nice and pools ok but not a place I would ever return to. The food was just OK but nothing special. The pool bars ignored you unless you gave them big tips. Room cleaning was a joke.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort Spa and Casino: Great resort

This resort is an excellent value for money and the unique adds to the experience. Although the unique doesn’t maybe give you as much as other “step above” clubs offered it was definitely worth the extra that we paid. The beaches are excellent, the unique beach buffet was great and we really enjoyed the lobster tails/scallops and steak offered for lunches as well as the service. Jose our butler was amazing and checked in multiple times a day to ensure we had everything we needed. I found all al la carte restaurants to be very good and easy to book. The unique pool was a great quiet getaway as well. Overall a great time at a great resort!

Tropical Deluxe Princess: First Family Vacation

This was our first big vacation of a family of four (5mon & 2.5 yo) and we were not disappointed. We got the family suite which worked out well, the only odd thing was the main door and patio door were in the kids room. The grounds was a good size and in immaculate condition always. The trams were always going. The staff were friendly and always went out of the way put a smile on our sons face and make him laugh. A La Carts were always good! Make sure you get in the app asap to book. Overall, very happy and would return.

Serenade Punta Cana Beach and Spa Resort: Beautiful Family Resort

This is a very lovely resort with clean rooms, a fabulous walkable beach with powder white sand and very good food. It is definitely a resort I would recommend for families with children from babies, toddlers to the age of 13. They have an adults only resort right next store or the preferred section if you’re travelling without children I definitely recommend this resort for a family style vacation

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Best suited for younger people

The set up and grounds are very attractive. Staff were very friendly and helpful Not a 4 star hotel. Rooms had issues including thermostat not working. Door to patio hinge almost falling off. Food all about presentation but usually served cold, no cream for coffee, Decaf coffee instant powder, no hot water in the shower. We liked the outside of the resort pools were great and the beach was fantastic but the rooms are overdue for serious update…the restaurant buffet was a big disappointment food was not that great and the service staff was horrible we waited for drinks to arrive and table to get cleaned for ever ..

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Good resort

Grounds were well keep. Very clean. Pools were good. Rooms were fine but dated . Food for the most part was good. The restaurants were great. Buffet was sufficient. Beach had chicken, burgers and fries all good. Had some bad luck with food from Buffet and chicken off the beach stomach problem. Drinks were alright. Beach was good chairs were hard to get . Water was rough and cloudy but that's the ocean and seaweed on the bottom. People were fantastic.

Impressive Premium Punta Cana: It s a beautiful resort

The food a la carte was exceptional . Buffets were good. Room service was ok .. it’s a busy place , people are kind and helpful .. on one evening there was a putrid ( sewer smell ALL EVENING ) and with the heat it made it even more strong ..no explanation for that ..

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Great bang for your buck!

We were nervous due to the many reviews that were all o we the place. But we were very happy at El Beso. The location was great. Not near the airport that you see and hear planes all day but not a three hour drive after the flight after. The beach was gorgeous even though the employees kept saying it was an Atlantic beach not the Caribbean white sands everyone is looking for. I still enjoyed it. But there is rocky areas. We brought water shoes and had no issues. Lots more shaded spots on the bea [... read more]ch than by the pool. So we spent a lot of time there. There are vendors that walk around on the beach trying to sell photos with pets, jewelry, hair braids, etc. but they were not too pushy so it was not a hassle. The food was fantastic at each of the restaurants. We did not get to go to the Sakura or Steakhouse. Those two were booked out by privilege guests all week. But I do not feel like I missed out because the food was great everywhere else. Even the buffet. The rooms were clean and cool. Some in my party may have found it too cold but they got extra blankets for their bed. We did find the rooms to smell a tad musty it mold like. I had read a bunch of reviews about this before my trip so I brought essential oils which was the world of difference. When you have humidity all the time, I can understand it smelling like this. Easy fix. The lazy river with the drive thru bar was my favourite part of the trip. Shade, drinks, and cool water to keep you cool. Great spot to enjoy your days.

Riu Bambu: Amazing resort!

Don't try and pet the black and white cat. It will bite you but we had an amazing time there! It is a big resort and we were surprised by that but the food is excellent for the Dominican! I would not recommend if you have walking issues because there is a lot of walking.

Excellent food, staff were amazing! Butler / concierge never reached out moved, very disappointed with Ernesto! Beach was very dirty on the first morning and then cleaner. Pools were great! Activities were good. Nonetheless we had an amazing vacation ?
