Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Great place for adults and kids

Loved the facilities at The Grand! Kids had so many options to be entertained and adults enjoyed the beautiful spa! The restaurants and food were good but the atmosphere made you feel comfortable and surrounded around luxurious amnenities.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Would visit again!

The resort was clean and staff were always accommodating and polite. Food was awesome, you never went hungry. We were upgraded to a suite free of charge at check in and the room was beautiful! I would stay again. Abraham in the disco bar was awesome, we spent many nights at the bar talking to him. He was able to give us tips on what to do when we wanted to leave the resort to go to such places as the market. There is a city bus that runs every 2 mins that took us everywhere we wanted to go and i [... read more]t was only $1 us. The disco bar opened at 6, there were pool tables and card tables you could sit at and then the disco started at 11. It was open 6pm-2am and always adults only. There were multiple pools. The pool on the first level was adults only that contained cabanas and a swim up bar. The rest of the pools were kid friendly on the main level.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Terrible resort, beautiful place

I would never recommend this resort to anyone! They try to rope you into a situation like a time share the very first day you arrive. The food was gross and the selection sucked! My husband pretty much lived off hot dogs and hamburgers all week! You can't ever get a reservation for the restaurants. The elevators took forever, the staff and service sucked, the stair ways were gross and dirty! The adult pool closes at 5:00pm, and the bathrooms for that area are f***ing nasty! I felt like I was going to catch something using them! Every time you turn around there's rules you can't do this, you can't do that. Yeah all inclusive my butt, you have to pay for room service, unless you spend $30,000 usd on the package to become a crown member! We got charged 6 peso for making local call to make arrangments to be picked up and taken to the airport the phone call was 1 minute long. My husband and I will never stay at this resort again! Trip central was amazing to book with though.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Always perfect

Every personnal give their best to statisfy their customers. We feel be at home, meals are perfect and well présented. Different animations every Day. Every body could find games or sports for satisfaction. Night animations are présented with professionalism. Singers and dansers are perfect

Sandos Cancun: Luxury birthday gift.

We don't want to leave this place but our luxurious one week is over, building/grounds well maintain, amazing swimming pool, daily housekeeping, amazing/friendly staff who remember your names and entertainment every night and daily activities, you will not get bored. Thank you Sandos!

Moon Palace Cancun: Best Resort I've Been to!

The moon palace is by far the best resort accross the board. It's a big resort but transportation around is easily accessible and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The food options are great and you can always eat a la carte if buffets aren't your thing.

Occidental Costa Cancun: A wonderful vacation for the whole family

The resort was very clean and the staff very friendly & always ready to help. The small fridge in the room is always full of drinks (beer, pop) & some peanut snacks. The entertainment staff, as a whole, was awesome, especially the daily aerobics/aqua aerobics on the beach, plus the afternoon dance lessons. In the evening, there's also a show with a different theme, every night. The beach is not big, but there's always room for everyone. The food was very delicious & yummy, in all of the restaurants, buffet or a la carte, even the 24 hr snack stop was always filled up with fresh foods. Special mention of Jose Poot, who is a waiter at Claraboya, he really made our breakfast & dinners there more interesting; a very friendly person. And even on the last day, you can still eat & have a drink (or shots of tequila,etc), while waiting to be picked up for the airport. Most important of all, we felt safe all the time, even outside the resort. We went to a market, walked around, and everyone is friendly. Would go back again, no doubt! Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Amazing Resort

This was hands down the best resort ever! Amazing people, amazing food. It was an amazing experience. The all inclusive package was incredible. It was safe and comfortable. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Occidental Tucancun: Loved it!

- Resort was very clean - Staff were friendly - Beach is amazing - Dinner at a la carte restaurants were delicious - Resort was not overcrowded - Not much walking - Lunch buffet was not my favourite

Maya Caribe Cancun: Nice resort

Pools were amazing as was the beach. Food was good and the a la carte restaurants were also good. It does not really mean much though when they advertise all the buffets you can go to when they all serve the same meals. It's the same for most if the a la carte restaurants as there was usually 2 of each type but once again it was the same menu at each one The mall connected to the hotel was nice as well and offered a good range of souvenirs and clothing which came in handy when we found out th [... read more]e a la carte restaurants insist the the men wear long pants to dinner. One note is that the $1000 credit per room is a waste of time as what it really means is they will discount certain purchases (room service, laundry, etc) by 25% and that goes to the $1000 credit. It's a nice resort, clean, well maintained and th staff was friendly. I would give it a 7/10

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Magnificent place

First, I would like to begin saying that this was our first time in Mexico, however, we've been to plenty all-inclusive hotels before. Excellence Playa Mujeres completely blew our minds. Even though we found out about the existence of 'Excellence club' (VIP program that grants free beach bag and Bulgari toiletries) upon arrival, there was absolutely no difference in the way we were treated. The area is really big, so if you are into hiking, you would have a plenty of routes without leaving the territory of a hotel. Grounds are well kept and very clean. Great variety of free activities. Plenty of restaurants, but we were not able to visit all of them, even though we did not go to the same restaurant for dinner twice. Front desk staff is extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful, especially Andres. Also, we were amazed, that staff were able to remember our names right away and were able to recall the names up until the end of our stay. There was only one minor issue. The way the washroom is placed is a great design idea, however, the semi-transparent door and absence of soundproofing are a poor aesthetical decision if you are staying with someone else. The sound waves bounce off the beautiful marble walls and propagate to the bedroom. Overall, great resort and wonderful staff, clean beach and lots of activities. Would recommend, 9.9/10!

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Fantastic Time

The hotel was amazing and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The restaurants and food were exceptional. The only draw back was the beach with all the sea weed. We definitely recommend The Grand Moon Palace in Cancun.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Room location

Everything was fine about the hotel grounds, beach etc. I booked a single room and asked that I not be on the ground floor and also near my son's family when I booked. They put me actually below ground in a horrible room not even in the same building as my son's family. I found this very upsetting. Iberostar Selection Cancun: Iberostar Cancun was amazing!

The resort itself was fantastic! the service was great and the food and beverages were excellent. They had all the premium alcohol drinks that surprised us as well. Since we went for golf which was amazing by the way, in perfect shape and not busy at all.. the guys servicing us on the course with food and drinks were very personable and kept coming around every few holes asking if we needed food and drinks. Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Great Resort

The hotel and hotel staff were great. They have a lot of activities all day for people that want to participate on the beach and in the pool. The rooms were comfortable. I found the breakfast options weren't too many and the food was okay. I've been at resorts where there is more selection and better food. Also, you have to pay for WiFi. I would definitely go back to this resort.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Wonderful resort with wonderful staff!!

We (the whole family )love this resort because everywhere you look, it's clean. Our room was a good size one, and was cleaned up everyday. The beach is a little bit small, but it doesn't get overcrowded; the water is so clear, it doesn't matter how many people are in it. But what really impressed us the most, are the staff and the people working in the restaurants, be it at the buffet or the a la carte. The food in all the restaurants are delicious! The daily evening shows were also fantastic, they really worked hard to entertain the hotel guests. Thanks again, to all the staff at Occidental Resort Cancun, my family had a great time!

Grand Oasis Palm: Poor Resort

The Hotel needs to be updated..Food is not that great...Service was not bad...overall for the same amount of Money that we Spent i would stayed at 5 Star in Dominican Republic or down the strip in Cancun at the Beach Palace.....

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Perfection

Our stay at the Excellence Playa Mujeres is beyond our expectations. We knew going in that it was going to be nice but we didn’t realize how nice. Everything was pretty much perfect in my opinion. From check in, room, food, service, etc. We had a wonderful trip and could ask for anything more. We opted for the Plunge Pool room, and the decision was the right one. Fu [... read more]lly stocked mini bar, with booze, beer, snacks and refreshments. What I appreciated about this resort is bottled water isn’t in short supply. You don’t have ration out your water every day. It was nice to know you weren’t going to get dehydrated. Beach and pool were amazingly maintained. Staff went above and beyond to make sure you were cared for and the surrounding areas were clean and well presented. Our beach waiter was incredible. Very attentive and we were never without a drink. He even brought us fresh drinks when he saw that our drinks got a little warm. The drinks were very well prepared. From margaritas to pina coladas to a fresh cold beer. The local Tulum brand of beer being my favorite. The beach bar grill was delicious. Every day was a different theme, so the food didn’t get stagnant. It was fresh and they took precautions to keep everything cold/warm. Restaurants were a hit. We didn’t have a bad meal. We preferred the Indian and Mexican restaurants but had great meals at the French, Lobster House, and Barcelona. Breakfast is my favorite when Im on vacation and the Toscana buffet didn’t disappoint. Huge selection and well prepared. The Egg cook was the best. Having been to Cuba many times, I can tell you that Mexico, especially Excellence, blows them out of the water when it comes to food. I can’t praise this place enough. The fitness center with cold towels and fresh juice. The coffee/snack bar. The maintenance crew always looking to improve something. The cleaning staff making sure our room was spotless. The wait staff at all the restaurants. The front desk making sure we were doing ok. Everything was great and I cant see rating this less than 5 stars. We will be going back.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: First Class Resort

This resort was luxury and class all the way. The photos on the webpage are exactly what you get. The service is excellent. We loved not having to make a reservation for dinner and just ate whenever and wherever we wanted too. Make sure to dress well for dinner Men should have pants, collared shirt and most importantly, dress shoes..All meals were presented stylishly, even room service, The food was of a high quality. The coffee is not great so we learned to ask only for expresso. The beach had [... read more] silky white sand and was clean but did have a seaweed bed not far off shore and there was a lot of loose seaweed in the water and always seaweed on the beach even though there were staff who came and cleaned it off the beach twice a day. We still spent all our time at the beach and didn't use the pool at all. The only issue I had was the jet skis that raced up and down parallel to the beach constantly. This left the smell of gasoline in the air and a bit of a film on the water. As this resort is right next to a dolphin sanctuary, the jet skis should go! We required medical attention during our stay and the resort doctor came right to our room and arranged transportation to the hospital and for the specialist to see promptly. The concierge phoned twice the next day to see if all was well and did we have everything we needed. The one comment I would make is that this resort is to the north if Cancun by about 15 - 20 minutes. This impacted the excursions we did as everything has to go through peak hour traffic in downtown Cancun, coming and going. This added an extra hour on to any exciursion and we felt it wasn't worth spending the 5 hours driving to swim in a cenote or swim with turtles etc! The golf course was beautiful and challenging. The spa was as good as the best I've seen - or better. My massage was excellent. The downside was the upsellibg on checkin. The two tiered guest system preferred guest or VIP with their own special clubs etc. This made you feel a little second class. The resort dollars that you got on check in were very limited use and we ended up only using $40 of the $200 that we had . One complaint at the Oceana restaurant was that we could only sit at the open windo with the view if we bought a bootleg of wine. We don't drink wine and so missed this experience. Very exclusive and left us feeling less. Thisvresort is extremely luxurious and comfortable .

Occidental Costa Cancun: Amazing resort

I had a great time at the Occidental Costa Cancun, the people were great very hospitable. We went to various tours and when we came back they treated us great.
