Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Wonderful resort!

This hotel is very homey with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean. With the adult pool you have the choice of kids or no kids. There are 2 buffets and 5 restaurants for dinners and 3 buffets and 2 snack bars for lunch.

This was not our first visit to the RDC and as always we were not disappointed. The grounds and facility were impressively kept, always clean. We were travelling with 2 children and needed extra drawers in our room. We asked for an extra dresser and it was delivered within hours. The staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I forgot my beach towel in the buffet restaurant one morning (big no no!) But the next morning when we were there for breakfast the hostess appeared at our table with my towel! Super happy that they found it as I didn't want to pay the fee to replace it and super impressed that they recoginized me. Food and drinks were good, there is something for everyone. This was our first time travelling with our two grandchildren 8 & 10 years old and they had a fabulous time. The RDC is definitely the place to take kids! We will return again!

Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: Great place!

My sister and I spent a week in San Marino Hotel in early March. We had a fantastic time. This resort has it all for travelers who are looking for an authentic, personable experience. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We made a lot of friends. And that goes to all positions starting with the Reception desk, the Security guys, the bell boys, the housekeeping, the servers and the cooks. The bathroom was ok, but it would benefit from renovation. The hotel is committed to renovations, and they do a good job making it look seamless for the visitors. The beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. There was always plenty of hot water. The beach lounge area was cleaned daily and chairs and loungers setup at around 9 am available for use until 6 pm. With the days getting longer and nice weather, it would have been nice to have a use of the chairs longer than that. But it didn't stop us from enjoying the beach front. One of us being vegetarians, we had a bit of a challenge to navigate the buffet. Once again, the servers were knowledgeable about the dishes and guided us through the selection. On a few occasions when there was not much selection of non-meat dishes, they offered us an alternative, like pasta or beans. The breakfast was our favorite meal, but lunch and dinners had always a selection of fresh greens, great variety of salads and Mexican dishes. Various preparations of fish were available for each lunch and dinner and they were delicious. Pork, chicken and beef dishes and various sides were quite versatile as well. Drinks were good, both beer (light and dark) and cocktails. We didn't try the wine. I would stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

Fiesta Americana is an amazing resort..friendliest staff, great restaurants, spotless resort..pool was warm and wonderful..we will be back next year for another 2 weeks.. Have been to many resorts and Fiesta tops all..

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Enjoyed this property

This was a great time and experience at this resort, ordering from a menu and not picking from a buffet lineup was excellent. The staff at this place could not do enough for you to make sure your stay was close to perfection. The chefs and dining staff would go out of there way to have everything prepared just the way you liked it. I would go back in a second,be sure to try the crab cakes on the lunch menu.....to die for!!! Would recommend.

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Great service and holiday at sunset plaza resort and spa Puerto Vallarta

Thanks to our rep at trip central we were able to have a great vacation. Service was always with a smile. Key is the location of the resort 15 minutes from the airport, boardwalk and all amenities just across the street. Check in and checkout was a a breeze. The food was great, they will do their best to meet all your needs. Top quality drinks. The resort is not overly large and never felt like crowds of people very relaxing, the pools are heated which is great because it does cool down  [... read more]at night, and I have been at resorts where the pool is too cold to swim in. The service around the pool was great. All rooms have ocean view. Entertainment was above average " no Michael Jackson" lol The beach is not the best, very rocky in parts for walking, they do put chairs out, no loungers so if you are a beach person you may have to rethink. I had a fabulous time and would return.

Canto Del Sol: Great Resort

We had a great 14 day stay at this resort. Met many people, who have been coming here for 14+ years.The food was excellent and the serves wonderful. Staff are really friendly and treated us like family. Grounds and pools are well kept and the rooms are clean and airy. Looking forward to a return visit.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Was fabulous

Was the best "all inclusive" ever The employees made you feel special, and the food was beyond my expectations! Will definitely go back to this resort. At no time did it feel unsafe, and no wristbands was another bonus. The rooms were very spacious.

Villa del Palmar Beach Resort: above amazing

this hotel was amazing. It is a smaller resort which is just what we were looking for. we have stayed here many times and just love it. the staff is friendly and beyond helpful and kind. you become a small family and only meet friends. there is a quiet pool or a family pool, which ever your heart desires. Lots to do and the resturants have much to choose from, you will not be disappointed. Just sit back and relax on the beach and enjoy the view, which often includes dolphins and whales. Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Los Cocos

Second time at Los Cocos. Love the staff, food is good, rooms fine all that. There are a few things that could be addressed that might improve the experience. 1. Enforce no smoking zones. 2. Fix La Bamba Restaurant sign up procedure. People line up to sign up for seating a then a certain group (won't mention which group) of people feel the line up means nothing and butt in to the front of the line and then call their friends up to do the same. With only one a la carte restaurant this means pe [... read more]ople who have waited get shut out because of those who have butted into line. 3. Move the wrecked boat that has been on the beach right in front of the beach club property in Los Ayala-EYESORE. 4. Improve wifi. Not the end of the world but it wouldn't take much to improve it.

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Better Each Time

This was our 4th visit to Sunset Plaza. The 2 of us stayed from Feb 20 - 27th. It truly was like 'coming back home'. Javier met us at the front door with smiles, calling us by name and welcoming us back. If you want a party resort or a place for kids to have a big pool with slides etc, this isn't the resort for you. Although I didn't have any children with me, I did see the activity director and staff conducting lots of fun activities for the young kids around the resort. The pools are both heated, service around the pool was spot on, all our meals were wonderful. Sure, sometimes it wasn't exactly as ordered but.....you're on vacation. The staff try so hard to please you and will do anything to make it right. Take the time to talk to the staff, learn about their lives, education, families. You will be surprised at the diverse group working at Sunset. The entertainment at dinner the 3 times a week is far above the usual resort entertainment you're use to. The refurbishment to the hot tub area are lovely and the sitting areas make for the perfect sunset sitting spot. Our room was cleaned spotless everyday as well as the fridge refilled. If there was something extra you wanted, just leave a note. I really have nothing negative to say. Maybe the fact the beach in front of the resort isn't the best for swimming, but a short walk and it's no longer a problem. If you're looking for a smaller resort, amazing staff, wonderful food, breathtaking views from all rooms, warm pools and a spa with a wide range of services - Try The Sunset Plaza, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Great staff

We were very happy with our stay. There were a couple minor things like being told we had a king bed but found it was two beds pushed together. We didn't get a fridge in our room either. Those were our only complaints and they are pretty minor. Beach was awesome, food was great and the staff were fantastic. We would definitely come back! The location was a huge bonus as well, within walking distance of lots of shopping and resturants.

Las Palmas by the Sea: Pleasantly suprised

We had seen the outside of this hotel many years before and I wasn't sure how good it would be. Although it is somewhat dated , it was clean and they have tried to keep it up. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was okay and we could always find something that we liked to eat. Nightly entertainment was very good for a smaller hotel For a three star hotel we found it to be quite good.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Great time

It is a great resort, the people were very friendly and the grounds beautiful. We would go there again and highly recommend it. The only complaint is that for a few days there were too many people there, too many kids screaming and people running and screaming in the halls at night.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Lovely Resort

Just got back from 1 week stay at Fiesta Americana. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. We enjoyed the Asian restaurant and the buffets usually had a good variety. The steak was not very good at the Italian restaurant. Lots of fish served, and it was nice to be able to have room service, which was quick and fresh. Didn't seem to be enough lounge chairs and had to get up early if you wanted some in the shade. Easy location for a quick and cheap cab ride to downtown. Room was big [... read more] but didn't get a good view from the room even though I requested one higher up. Staff were very quick to respond when the fridge wasn't working and the dryer blew up and replaced them quickly. Can't swim in the water at the beach as its too rough. Enjoyed the rhythms of the night tour.

Riu Vallarta: Smiling, what a adventure for me

Room was fabulous, sat on the balcony every morning. View of court yard, palm trees and ocean. Sounds of the ocean were heavenly, landscaping and design was incredible. Three places to have my meals, food excellent, Wait staff were very polite and helpful. I have told all my friends and family about this incredible hotel, going down the stair to the court made me feel like a Princess.. Entertainment in the evening was Extraordinary, I took many photos. Best part of all is that I felt safe, for I have been a widow for one year and never travelled. My trip was incredible and I met many new people and made any new friends. Lots of activities for all ages led by a group of high energy young people. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Happy to see so many young kids. Enjoyed the a la Cartes as well as the buffets. Evening shows were entertaining. A safe environment.

We enjoyed our stay and havingcoming there for 7 years mostly at villas your sister hotel. Staff are friendly , rooms clean , food is ok can't complain. And most of all George who serves us drinks is the best . We meet at least 25 people at your resort for our reunion every year .

Costa Club Punta Arena: Wonderful Resort

This resort was very nice and clean , located halfway between airport and downtown with access to busses and tons of amenities. The Malecon is a 20 min walk and Romantic zone is 45 min walk. The new dining room is beautiful overlooking the pool. The food was very good and in one week had a great variety. My room was big and clean with a nice TV, balcony and air-conditioned and Lourdes my room service lady was amazing along with all the other staff.
