Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Best vacation

We stayed here as a family of 9 in three different buildings the last week of March 2019. Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were always smiling and willing/wanting to help you. Little things make a big impression. There is a door separating the bedroom area from the entry door &bathroom. What a fantastic idea. We had no complaints. Absolutely everything was spot on. In fact we are starting to plan our next stay which will be two weeks. We have been using Trip Central since starting to do All Inclusives and highly recommend them.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Solid 4 Star Resort

Beautiful grounds and pools. Food is great at buffets. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great place if you have children. The beach is beautiful, they grade it all the time to remove the seaweed. Lots of activities at pool and beach. Nighttime shows at the theatres. If I had to say something negative I would mention the lack of shower curtains in bathroom; makes it difficult to share the bathroom. Our room had a musty old smell but the room itself was clean.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Love this resort

We just spent a week at this resort from March 26 to April 2, 2019. This was our 6th visit to this resort and it’s like a second home. Reception employees and the concierges are great especially Manual. The oceanview rooms are beautiful and our room was cleaned beautifully everyday with a cute towel ornament displayed. The food was great and the buffet has a different theme every night. The Japanese restaurant is entertaining as well as having great food. The grounds have been upgraded [... read more] with beautiful lighting at night. The beach is gorgeous and there was never an issue with finding an umbrella with chairs at the beach or near the pool. The pool needs some upgrading as it needs tiles to be fixed and a fresh coat of paint. The entertainment is probably the one area that could improve the most. The MC’s are fantastic but the singers are weak and the choreography was too intricate for the level of the dancers. The Star Band was great with talented musicians. The costumes were gorgeous and of course the Michael Jackson show was super! Overall we had a relaxing time. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait until our fall trip and will extend our stay to 10 or 14 days!!!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: The don’t clean the Cutlery in the Buffet

Avoid this resort at all costs. They don’t clean the Cutlery in the Main buffet. Spoke to two managers and also complained on two surveys they handed out during the week. Highly unacceptable. We watched them set the tables all week with used cutlery that they just wiped off with dinner napkins.

Just got back from iberostar paraiso beach resort, it was amazing , the food was great. The beach was awesome,the room was spacious, and very clean. Had a awesome sunny week away...would recommend this resort...

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great Resort!

Beaches were beautiful, would recommend the adult spa section rooms, very spacious, private and clean. Overall my sister and I had an amazing time to relax. I would suggest more entertainment with variety though...

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Beautiful resort offering great service

The Iberostar Cancun is a beautiful hotel. Great pool and loads of palapas on the beach to provide shade for those who want it. As a golfer, I love that the hotel has a challenging course on site. The service was second to none. I am a repeat customer. My husband and I have stayed there several times and I have to say that the food quality is not what it once was. Even so, I would return to this property again for the golf, the pool area and the staff who made our stay another one to remember.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Lindo Doesn't Disappoint

Fourth trip to IB Playa Paraiso, first three were to Beach, this trip we upgraded to Lindo - worth it? Yes Food is better at Buffet, Concierges in each building make booking ala cartes a snap. We booked 4 a la cartes but actually cancelled 2 of them. The buffet selection and quality was that good. The pool at the Beach is main attraction for us, and by staying at Lindo we have access to Beach property We'll go back for sure if the price is right.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Property needs upgrades

Just arrived I had requested a king size bed above floor non smoking. They give me a room with 3 double bed looked horrible went back at front desk to complain she said if I want something better I need to pay 40$ per day? I refused she give me a main floor with a king bed but the room is beat up and no place to put my clothes I guess I must leave them in my suitcase. After the 3 room it was better however the grounds and rooms are in need of upgrade. As per the staff they are doing their best and meals are acceptable. This resort claim that they are a 5 star in my book they are not!

Hotel Mojito: Awesome trip at the Iberostar Mojito!!

The Iberostar Mojito is just as beautiful as I remembered from my last trip in 2012. Everything was perfect! Our only issue was that we booked and paid for a superior room but were given a regular room. There really wasn't anything wrong with the regular room and would have stayed put, but we had paid $150 more for the upgraded room. After a day and half we got moved to the room we paid for. ( I've had stuff stolen from a resort in Varadero before ) All the staff here are wonderful and so very friendly. I would definitely return!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great first time vacation in Cuba

This is a great resort with awesome people and beaches. A lot of marine life to observe by snorkling right from the shore. The rooms and facilities (pool, lobby, restaurants) are perfect for families with just enough entertaiment and quietness. The food is alright as long as you don't expect eating fancy. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to relax and who does not seek night life and visits outside the resort. Overall, this is a really great value.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Wonderful resort and amazing beach

We stayed at the Lindo last week. Room decor was a bit dated but very clean. We didnt spend much time in room anyways. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are all very helpful and extremely friendly. The entertainment group was fun and encouraged participation from our teenagers. We had the best stretch of the beach by far. Most other resorts have coral in front and are not suitable for swimming. They do a very good job at clearing the washed up seaweed each day to keep the beachfront clea [... read more]n. The water is clear and no coral for a long stretch so the swimming is great. Food was great with lots of variety. I would recommend this place for families with small children or teens.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Iberostar

Pros: Beautiful grounds, room was clean, staff were welcoming and always willing to help. Pool area always had available chairs. Entertainment was good. Cons: Like many other "all inclusive" hotels the food was mediocre at best. There were options for vegetarians/vegans however when the concierge assured me that the "a la carte" restaurant had "options" she essentially meant that all of them had the typical "salad bar". Trust me when I say that vegetarians/vegans get tired pretty quick of th [... read more]e "salad bar". Mixed drinks were pre-made blends mixed with alcohol which is done for speed and convenience (I understand that). Tour company for excursions were over priced. With the knowledge of the price of gas, the cost of food and of wages...a 200 USD excursion for one person seemed a bit exorbitant. Will be returning to Mexico again to explore other areas.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Love this place

We have been here a few times now and we love it. The food is fantastic the people are kind and always willing to help if something is wrong. The beach is amazing and the pools are great too. No place is perfect and things can go wrong we had an issue with our washroom and we were immediatley moved to another room. Very accommodating we will be back!!

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Pleasantly surprised!!

We got to the resort in the afternoon. We had a quick check in and were able to hit the beach within a few hours. Hector was courteous and pleasant! The food was good, fresh and plentiful! One could not starve at this resort! The grounds were meticulous! Ernesto and his crew do an awesome job at keeping everything beautiful! The resort takes pride in their cleanliness and do just about anything to make sure you are happy and content. I cannot wait to go there again soon!

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Friendly Hotel

The hotel has a pleasant area to relax and play cards and spend time with other guests. The food is very good, a great selection for all tastes. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. I am looking forward to spend another vacation here.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Amazing place

Very beautiful resort . staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Entertainment by the pool and at the stage was very good with excellent performances. Beach was very nice with lots of lounge chairs . pool was very nice as well with swim up bar . all the wait staff and bartenders are very friendly . the room was very clean . cleaned up daily and fridge was restocked as well and a beautiful view to the beach off the large balcony . will definitely be returning here again .

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Could be worst.

Like everybody, this hotel has goods and bads. We were upgraded to a "suite" for 100$ CAD, the room was huge. Full king, 2 sofas and T.V, dinning table fridge and best... two washrooms. Toiletries was to a minimum we had to request for toilet paper and bar fridge to be filled up which wasn't after leaving a 5 Peso tip. No bugs. Food was repetitive.....pasta, pasta and again pasta. We all know it's Cuba. Beach was good, no music after 12:30 which I though it was weird. Bar at the beach, [... read more] Maria she was perfect. Area is clean, no plastic cups or cigarettes butt. Pool great. Staff is excellent and the entertainment is GREAT. I would recommend to a friend but not a picky, snobby want to be kind of friend.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Ok not amazing resort

This hotel is not good for people who has mobility problem. It has almost 900 rooms and only one elevator works. All the others were broken. I was stuck in one for 15 minutes and press the emergency button but no one came. There were no air in the elevator . I was terrified. I reported it and all they said were sorry. I will not go back.

Hotel Mojito: Great resort!!!

No bad things to say about this resort. The food was pretty good...something for everyone...the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beach was lovely with a lot of palapas. The adult pool had a self serve non alcoholic bar which was lovely. Nightly entertainment was wonderful.....lots of activities for the kids. The only negative was the Canadian dollar suffered big time..after the resort took its 5% cut our dollar came out with only 0.67 cents.
