Riu Palace Antillas: The Rio resort was good. The food, beach and service was excellent!
The hotel was comfortable and the environment was beautiful. The island is very breezy and you don’t really feel the heat which makes it comfortable for exploring the place. Good food and service. The people were warm and friendly. I would recommend better entertainment and cheaper prices for products in the gift shops.
Riu Cancun: Resort of our dreams
This resort had it all! Pools were clean & not over crowded. 4 pools with 4 different vibes, all with an infinity edge facing the ocean. Food & drink were fantastic! Beach is picture perfect! 10/10
Riu Guanacaste: A 4 star
The hotel was beautifully kept. Walls were being painted and grounds we being landscaped daily. Food was amazing. Cant beat guacamole at every meal. The A La Cartes were above expectations but I was not impressed by their daily 6:00 reservation system. I hated waiting in line each night when I could be napping or getting ready for the evening. We went to the casino. Go to the cashier first to get 10 dollars free when you spend 10 dollars at the slots. Bonus. We liked the variety of tours they of [... read more]
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fantastic resort
Extremely clean and well maintained resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Located right on the ocean. Beautiful! Entertainment was very good. Pool activities were fun and entertaining. Would definitely recommend this resort for a beautiful relaxing and enjoyable vacation for all ages
Riu Vallarta: Absolutely AMAZING resort
We had the best trip of our lives at this resort. Everything was phenomenal. The entertainment was top notch, every single night and day there was something new and exciting. Drinks were made to perfection and all the food was absolutely delicious especially breakfast!! Thankyou to the staff who made our trip so special, they all deserve the best!
Riu Republica: Great Resort
The resort, rooms, and buildings were spacious and clean. The food was very good with variety and options. The fitness center could be larger and have more equipment. Smoking should be prohibited anywhere that food is being served. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Riu Flamingos: Great resort
It was veryyy busy the week we were there because it was school break in Mexico (first week of May) but it was still run well and clean. We enjoyed the staff especially at the restaurants. The food was pretty good, but we thought the buffets were better than the al a carte restaurants.
Riu Republica: A little dissapointment!
Well I expected more from the Rui, since I paid quite a bit more for this resort. The drinks were definitely watered down especially in my room. The food was good at the main Buffet but the ala carte was disappointing for me.... I wasn't expecting "buffet style" and the food was mediocre. I have had better service and just generally disappointed!
Riu Playacar: Super beau Resort
Riu Palace Baja California: Amazing Wonderful Holiday!
Everything about this holiday was wonderful. The food, the entertainment, the people. We had a great holiday. The elite extra cost w Sunwing not so much. Plane was full and we were seated next to university students that hadn’t paid this extra fee. We were last to get our bags at the carousel. The extra 200$ was definitely not worth it. Also Sunwing has the same ridiculous sitcom there and back, so no need to bring earphones. The flight was great otherwise Thank you
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Hotel
Very elegant hotel, with great food. The buffet was such a good variety. They could use a wider variety on their outdoor grill, such as fries burgers and hotdogs, although the Jerk chicken was delicious!
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good value for money
Nice hotel, excellent beach. No permanent shades on the beach, no swiming in front of the hotel when is windy . Sunwing representative didn't leave any note about the last day transfer, no book to check bus leaving time :( Great , warm swimming pool. Overall , not bad.
Riu Palace Baja California: Very good new resort.
This is a beautiful resort with staff that could not have been better. The attention to our needs and the overall service of ALL of the staff, at the front desk, room service, restaurant staff, pool attendants, bar staff, and particularly management staff, was more than we expected. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay at this Riu Resort. The food in the Buffet and the five specialty restaurants was excellent.
Riu Playa Blanca: Great overall trip, Beware of Sunwing though
The hotel was probably the cleanest I've been to "down south". Beach sand coarse and water was a little rocky. Not the same smoothness as Dominican or Mexico beach. Food was slightly above average, and some great variety. Staff was pleasant and the resort wasn't super packed. 2hrs from Downtown Panama which was too far for us to do the excursions, as we didn't want to spend 4 hours in a car. There is no smoking (other than a small area) which I don't mind, but the bars are far from the beac [... read more]
Riu Playa Blanca: Nice Resort
Such a nice and very clean resort. The staff was very friendly!! The room was very very nice and the cleaning ladies washed our floors when they’d make up our room during the week. There was always staff cleaning throughout the whole resort. Everything was easy to find! The food was good the only thing was that some things we would have liked to eat we didn’t as some things seemed to be harder to keep fresh as it is very very hot in Panama! The Italian was our favourite!!! We did a couple ex [... read more]
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great first time experience
My son and I finally had an opportunity to make our way beyond the states and what a great experience that was. Apart from our flight being delayed by 6 hrs on our way there, the trip was great! From arrival at the resort to departure we had an awesome time! The room was clean, staff were pleasant and the food was great! I would definitely make my way back there for a quick recharge trip!
Riu Emerald Bay: Great trip
Beautiful, large beach. Very clean. Beautiful ocean view. Spaced out well so you don’t feel it is as large as it is. Currently under construction. Rooms were incorrect and hotel did not compensate in any way.
Riu Santa Fe: Great resort and great location
This resort was absolutely gorgeous. Very well maintained and all staff was super friendly. Special shoutout to the entertainment team who does such an amazing job every single day. I would definitely go back and would 100% recommend.
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great week at a beautiful resort!
We arrived back home on Sunday night. We had a great week! It is a beautiful resort and the grounds are so well maintained . The staff all seem to work so hard. The food in the buffet was great with lots of variety. We ate at the steakhouse once and enjoyed it. The only negative I found was one day the room wasn't cleaned, but the money that we left for the maid was gone. I went to the front desk and they were on it immediately. We both agree that we would return to the resort.
Riu Flamingos: Staff are the highlight of this resort Riu Jalisco
Large grounds , Nice pools , Good Beach Food was decent ,you could always find something you liked , Made to order Omelettes in the buffet for breakfast a must. Fresh fruits galore.Make sure to have the Mexican coffee from the rolling cart in the evening dinner sitting. The Staff make this place wonderful always smiling and engaging without being intrusive. The bars have an assortment of cocktail suggestions for you to try. Pools were busy and like every were else people run to save th [... read more]
