Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Would go back in a minute

This is a beautiful resort small quiet no lines no trying to find chairs at the beach Excellent food lots of variety the hotel is older but it is very clean. Have traveled extensively in Mexico would put it up against the 4 stars any day People working there are great always singing while they are working did not matter if they were cooking or painting they were also doing reno's when we were there and they were singing too. Loved this place only complaint I had was the coffee but I went ac [... read more]cross the street to the oxxo and bought myself a small instant coffee and coffee mate and just got hot water when I wanted a coffee. This is a smaller town so you do need to have pesos not american money also no fridge in the room and no hairdryer but I brought my own hair dryer and they always had fresh bottles of water so we were good I would go back in a minute loved loved loved this place

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Excellent Experience

Hotel and service were amazing and so was the beach. Food was ok but my expectations were low as they are for most all inclusive packages...make a day trip to Bucerias...the beach there is very calm and there a couple restaurants to eat and drink at...try fat daddy's they had awesome lobster tails

Riu Flamingos: palace on the sand

Riu Jalisco is a very nice resort. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were spacious and clean. There were plenty of restaurants and bars. Nice staff! And great activities crew. The hotel lost water pressure for a night, so that sucked not being able to shower or flush the toilets

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Excellent resort!

This resort was quite nice, and set up excellent for families. Perks- -loads of activities for the kids (we have pre teen boys age 12/13) -staff gets everyone involved in fun & games -lots of relaxing for parents. -the spa -the staff, bell boys carried our luggage up three flights of stairs! No matter what you're after there's both here. Surfing, boogie boards, sup boards, volley ball, water games. Or just a lounger and amazing sunshine. Downfalls- -smelly (sewage smell in some a [... read more]reas)o -lots of stairs and hills, so bring chaf cream if you use it (no elevators) Overall we all had a great vacation here!

Riu Flamingos: Great place to stay.!

Likes: The food, lots of variety on the buffets, more than I expected. The al-a-carte restaurants were great, especially the steakhouse. Sport's var open 24 hours and had sandwiches, hotdogs, burgers and fruit. Service was always excellent from all the friendly staff from groundskeeper to front desk. Most of the bar staff made really good mojitos and pina coladas. The entertainment staff tried really hard to engage with as many people as possible. Place was always being cleaned from bathroom [... read more]s to lobby floors. Plenty of chairs on the Beach, good entertainment, better than expected. Rooms were comfortable and came with a fridge stocked with pop and water to use with your 4 bottles of booze in suite. Cans of beer in your fridge too. Dislikes: The coffee was terrible, I mean not good at all. Only survived on double shot American's from the 24 hour sports bar which used regular coffee and not expresso. Crampy toilet paper that was 2 ply but worked like 1 ply. Our room only had a stand up shower that was a nice size but hardly compare to a soaker tub. Maid service was always later in the day, closer to supper time and sometimes that had to come back to give you towels or to restock fridge. Went without first any water and then just cold water for almost 20 hours on the 2nd to last day which meant you couldn't flush the toilet.

Riu Flamingos: Riu Jalisco

The Riu Jalisco is a beautiful resort. The ocean, pools, dining rooms are all within walking distance. The hotel is in the shape of a horseshoe more or less which makes all things central. The grounds are kept spotless and the rooms are spacious. Very clean throughout resort.The food is very good with good variety and the special nights are amazing. The Canadian night was very special and well worth your time. The music on this night was extremely beautiful. The staff are polite and always honor [... read more]ed any request we had. They are friendly and make you feel very welcome. If I had one complaint it would be that there is no coffee maker in the rooms. No need to complain otherwise.

Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Felt like a vacation!

The hotel grounds were very well kept and looked beautiful. The room was a nice size and we had an ocean viewfrom the 4th floor. The rooms were a good size and we were greeted by a plate of food a bottle of Tequila and two cans of pop. We did end up with two double beds, which were not the most comfortable The room and bathroom could use some repairs but not to the point that it was rundown. Besides we spent our days and part of the evening by the pool or talking to other guests. Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills: Gorgeous resort

The grounds, public areas, restaurants, pool areas and rooms were always immaculate. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and accommodating. Obviously their mantra is "please every customer"! There was a comfortable, happy feel wherever I was in the resort and the beach area.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: great resort and location

On our first day we got roped into a TIME SHARE gig. We should have just said NO in the beginning and gone on with our holiday. After that our holiday began. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms could use some updating but were clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Most days we walked the Malecon into Vallarta, after spending time on the beach or at the pool. Once we discovered the Sunset Restaurant or a la cart, we had dinner there every night overlooking the ocean. The supervisor, Jonathan, and his team of workers, waited on us hand and foot. Jonathan would stop at every table and converse with patrons, along with his friendly staff. And he would even jump in to serve if there was a need. We felt like we were having dinner with friends every night. So we will definitely keep the Buenaventura as a great place to stay in Mexico. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Worfthless instructions

We asked for ground floor room numbers 5101 to 5106. We advised that we were taking a wheelchair. At checkin, we repeated the above. They gave us 5108 which as a ground floor room (up on a hill) but required 7 or 8 steps to get there. No elevator. Took two hours and the generousity of strangers to change rooms with us. Either you people are not getting through to them or they just ignore what you send to them. This is our 6th visit to Royal Decameron. Seems it doesn't mean anything to [... read more] them. Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: FANTASTIC

The hotel is very well kept, grounds are beautiful and staff are welcoming and friendly and work very hard for you. The rooms are very nice, bedding is cozy, and the maids do an excellant job. The pools are beautiful and well kept but the beach is not nice... it is on the pacific side and has a strong undertow and very rocky sand.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Hilton Puerto Vallarta

The hotel itself was not as nice as we thought a Hilton Hotel would be. The meals were lacking and uninteresting. The hotel staff were very professional in all areas wait staff front desk maids the bartenders were friendly. It would have been nice to have a swim up bar.

The staff were friendly and competent. The resort was very clean. This is our fourth visit and I think the quality of the food and wine have deteriorated. Would like to see the safe included in the package as well.

Las Palmas by the Sea: My sixth time at Las Palmas!

New management has seen upgrades to food......cleanliness is paramount...still a lovely family location....staff as usual accommodating.....Upgrades to the rooms would be benificial...wonderful to still see some of the personnel from last year.....

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Resort was fine food above average, service was average, did not like timeshare pitch

Fair won't go back to far from town. Ended up buying the travel membership trying to cancel. Had conference call to resolve. Pitched me again. Customer service was hit and miss. Alcohol seemed watered down. Pushed for tips on every transaction. Signed up for imperial service never used because shop would not accept.

Las Palmas by the Sea: Good Value

Had a blast. Staff were awesome. Jose entertained us the whole time. He took the family night clubbing and lots of pool activity. The bartenders were great. The staff were so helpful. Close to many great places

Had a great time at Las Palmas. The staff were Excellent!!!! The entertainment was good and Jose entertained us constantly. The place was clean and we rented a boat for the day from the guys on the beach. they took us snorkling, fishing, whale watching and to a beach for lunch.The food is what we expected so all and all great time.

Riu Vallarta: Incredible Resort

We loved our holiday in Puerto Vallarta . the Riu Vallarta is a beautiful resort with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The food and entertainment was excellent. If we had one complaint it would be that the mattresses were too hard and the pillows too small and lacking support. The facilities were very well maintained and impeccably clean. We will definitely return again and will also visit other Riu destinations. Thank You.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Southern Home

We have been to Los Cocos multiple times; as have many who go every year for short to long stays. Just driving up to the Lobby is like 'going home'. Throughout the complex we are welcomed back by familiar faces, hugs and handshakes. The warm greetings continue throughout our stays. The food is good; a wide variety of selections to choose from no matter what your preferences. Always fresh and well presented. The desserts are so tempting and delicious.... The service in all areas is outstanding.  [... read more] The Guayabitos beach is another reason we keep going back. There are miles of golden sand to walk on; power walk or stroll. It is also a great place to people watch; especially on weekends when the Mexican families come to enjoy the sand and surf. There are vendors on the beach but they are not intrusive at all. A simple Nada or No, thank you and they move on. The hotel pools are solar heated; cold on a hot body, but kept clean. I prefer a dip in the ocean myself. An evening stroll through town in the evening is delightful. Families gather on the street to socialize and eat dinner.Snowbirds get together in the popular places. As with anywhere you travel, you need to be aware of surroundings. But generally, we feel quite safe out walking. Saying goodbye to our friendds at Los Cocos is the most difficult part of a stay there.
