Riu Emerald Bay: Good times, great people

The Riu knows what it takes to make a vacation an enjoyable experience. All the staff are friendly and seem to really enjoy their work. The resort is clean and well maintained. No issues with the food; made to order dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always so many food options that there's something for everyone. Activities are constantly happening all day so there's always something to keep you busy. Entertainment at night in the lounge, lobby and theater on most nights. Riu Palace Macao: Amazing Resort is so true thank you.

This was a fantastic resort for a holiday and would go back many more times.The people took care of all your needs and where very well liked by all. The property was very clean,the pools were clean and warm the food was to die for fantastic variety every meal time,the beach was very clean and the ocean was nice and warm.The nightly entertainment was first class great shows.I would recommend this resort to any family and friends to go there. Riu Negril: Good until last day

Rooms are clean, oceanfront is perfect and food was great ! Day 2 we noticed a cigarette players was on the floor we thought it was our brother in law dropped impossibly, (didn’t think much into it) Day 4 noticed another so jokingly told my brother in law to keep his cigarettes in his room were not smokers) but he says no those are not mine don’t smoke these Day 6 found 5-6 again this time we thought it may have been the cleaning staff as people give gifts but this time we thought this m [... read more]any makes no sense. Obviously someone was coming into our room and keeping an eye on us returning to our room and almost got caught and rushed out?? Anyway we addressed our concerns and was surprised with the results and the conclusion. There was no staff that was in our room on Sunday when we found the bunch of them, called front desk and they definitely didn’t rush nor really care The beach area which is directly in front of the rooms is filled with locals who are continuously bothering you to purchase things from hats lobster and drugs We became aware and noticed how the grounds and beach staff are connected to the locals. We noticed a small amount of money was missing as our friends as well. We stayed in block 3, I would make sure to keep an eye out and set up your cameras if you can!! Hope they catch these people They were very smart but to take personal Items that would be noticed they were taking people’s cigarettes obviously and small Amounts of cash if left out they returned !! There was small amounts 9if money from our room and our sisters room It was very upsetting to end our trip on this note, the food and vacation was okay until we finally caught on to what was happening. Our privacy was invade and the staff just didn’t care !!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Resort

Very clean resort. Good selection of food to choose from. Lunch and Dinner buffet was different everyday. Al la carte was good Negative: 1. this is an adult only hotel however the cruise guests and children make themselves at home and sit next to Rui guests. 2. No bathrooms near the buffet restaurants they are located opposite end.

Riu Flamingos: Amazing Resort - Riu Jalisco / Riviera Nayarit

Grounds were spectacular, great beach, food was bountiful and very tasty. rooms are nice.Close to Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias, safe area. Great staff. Pools are nice. Excursions around area were great.

Riu Republica: Great vacation, but...

Riu Republica is well managed. We had a good room, weather was great, walks on the beach were engaging. Restaurants and buffets, appetizing. My disapproval was in the size of the resort... and with the noisy boisterous pool sides and an overcrowded beach. What these huge resorts gain in size, they loose in privacy, exoticism and respect for nature. Is this the new trend in the Caribbean tourism? To replicate our city life in America. Hope not! I fear the loss of one of the most beautiful an [... read more]d unique natural environments with continuing invasive constructions of mega large scale resorts. Built side by side, with absolutely no natural space in between, there is no territory for nature and its species to grow and strive. By the way I have not seen many beach birds on the beach. I hope, wish, owners and their administrative staff would plan environmentally conscientious sites where architecture would blend with this unique and beautiful part of our world. Create smaller sites where we could live in harmony with nature.

Riu Guanacaste: Amazing resort!

This hotel is amazing all round. The pool is very big and never too crowded. It has a lot of different features including a large swim up bar with in-water seating. The food is absolutely amazing! There is a lot of variety and it's all fresh and delicious, plus there is always somewhere open to eat. The service staff are always happy and will do anything for you. The beach is huge and it is never crowded. There is shade under the trees. There's also an area off to the right where you can snorkel [... read more] among the rocks and see lots of great things. There are locals on the beach that sell things, but I actually find the tour operators on the beach to be awesome. They are trust-worthy and will give you great rates. The resort grounds are always clean and highly maintained. Gardeners are out all day long making sure everything is trimmed and the paths are clean of debris. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are standard rooms you would get at any resort. My only negative comment would be that the beds are very hard, but I think most resorts have that issue. I recommend this resort to everyone. This is my second time going and I will go again.

Riu Ocho Rios: Beautiful resort!

My boyfriend and I just returned from a beautiful trip to this resort. We enjoyed our time there, the beach was amazing, food was very good. The entertainment at night was great, probably the best I’ve seen yet at any resort. Only complaint we had was the rooms are a bit outdated, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, tolerable but not great by any means. Our “King” bed was 2 doubles beds put together. It was a bit pricey to go here, so a nicer room would be expected. We also arrived at the r [... read more]esort at around noon, and we weren’t able to check into our room until 4:30 pm as they kept saying it wasn’t ready, it was kind of frustrating as after a long flight we just wanted to get into the room and get settled in. but other then that it’s a great place and I would recommend it!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort

We loved the resort...it was impeccably kept. We had an ocean front room which was a suprise...they left us wine and chocolate covered strawberries and a towel bunny for our last night ..it was a nice touch .the service was awesome ....the a ka carts were just okay however...I would suggest going for the first sitting ....loved Krystal that was my favourite....my rating would be 9 out of 10 ...and I would definatly go back again!

Hotel was very nice and clean and staff members were also very friendly and the pool was very clean the drinks was good beach also was very nice n clean like to go again service was fabulous room cleaner was friendly

Riu Negril: Wow 5 stars

Don't wait to book your trip. I was so worried when I booked but did I ever get it right this time. The staff were friendly and efficient. They always treated us with respect and as family. The food and the restaurants were 5 star. My husband really enjoyed the evening live bands and perfectional shows the rooms and resort are kept very clean\ We are already searching for deals to return. Thank you Riu Negril and tripcentral.

Riu Palace Baja California: A good vacation

Just came home after a 12 day vacation at this resort. Overall we were very happy with the resort. It is extremely clean. They are cleaning all the time and picking up any trash etc. You can tell the staff really care about the guests. They are always trying to accommodate any requests that you have. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned perfectly every day. We loved the bars and look out area on the second floor. It was such an amazing view. At the morning buffet, Suzanna looked after us and always made a table for us as there were 6 of us travelling together. She also worked at night at Krystal. Thank you so much Suzanna. I also want to thank Jimenez, Rivera, Luis and Ramon at the Indian restaurant. They were all so nice and looked after all our needs. I am not a fan of indian but my group loves it so we went there 3 times. They helped to accommodate my food order so I had something to eat They were extremely happy and we had an awesome night each time we visited. Overall we were very happy with the resort. I think there are still a few kinks to iron out at the restaurants as a new resort but you can tell they are trying really hard to make everyone happy. On a side note, it was so hard to watch when people were abusing the staff due to wait times at the restaurants and service. These employees are working their butts off to make us happy. You are on vacation and no one deserves to be treated the way some of the guests were treating the staff. Everyone should be grateful to have the opportunity to travel and relax. The staff are working to the best of their ability which we thought was amazing. Thanks to everyone that makes this resort a good destination to stay. This is our second vacation at the RUI, first one at Santa Fe several years ago. I would recommend this resort for the price point, cleanliness and the amazing staff that are there to serve you.

Riu Reggae: Great resort

Resort was as most reviews said, great rooms, we had an ocean front room which was awesome , the beach right there below our room. The people were wonderful, hard working , friendly, very clean, food was good lots of variety and we loved that it was a small resort that everything was so close. It was our first time to Jamaica after being in many other destinations and this ranks right up there being our favorite so far, would definitely return

Riu Negril: 'the best vacation ever.

'don't wait just book your vacation. I was so worried when I booked my vacation, but I really got it right this time. The food and restaurants were 5 star. The hotel and rooms were spotless. The evening shows were fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly, always helpful and the service was especially efficient. Everyone treated us with respect. RIU Cancun Hotel resort is very modern,walking distance to Cancun's vibrant nightlife and shopping area. Large pool complex, Jacuzzi and spa. View are so unique calm and delicate luxury impeccable service,full of attention take my wife there anytime she'll be grateful.

Riu Reggae: Great Vacation Spot!

You couldn’t ask for a more convenient location, 4 min. from the airport. Let the vacation begin! The grounds and beach are so clean and well manicured. The staff are beyond amazing! Even after working 12 hrs they always are full of energy and very interactive. The food... wow... something for everyone! All inclusive water sports were fantastic. This is the first time I didn’t do any off site resort excursions because I never once got tired of the resort in my 7 day vacation. This resort is also wheel chair accessible and convenient for those with mobility impairments. Small resort with a great layout. Book it, it’s a must! I highly recommend booking via Trip Central for all your vacations. They never disappoint!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing Hotel!

We loved our stay at Riu Palace in Bahamas! It is an excellent Hotel! 1 - Very clean. The staff does an excellent job to keep everything clean! They are always cleaning the outside floor around the pool, bar and beach access. Also collecting any garbages during all day. 2 - Staff is very nice, the waiters are amazing! Riu Palace Antillas: "PARADISE"

The grounds are well kept, the staff is very friendly and accomodating, the food was excellent. A relaxing place to unwind. The rooms were clean and the maid service was excellent, they went the extra mile to please.

Riu Guanacaste: Very Disappointed

This hotel has obvious management problems. It took 3 trips to the front desk to get someone to come and fix the lights. Bathroom light did not work, bedroom light did not work, after 2 days they fixed the lights. Due to the noise from the live entertainment below our suite we moved to the other side of the hotel. Quiet room, however, the toilet did not work. I opened the lid to find that the chain connecting the flapper was broken and only had a 4 inch piece of chain left which they had used [... read more] thread to tie to the plunger. They came and fixed it with guess what...thread. Obviously maintenance has no spare parts. Restaurants with seating for about 100 persons would only let in 25 at a time. We were told to come back in 2 hours. All the restaurants on site did the same - only sat limited number of diners and quite obviously were understaffed. No bell boy service. Somebody needs to initiate some better management procedures and policies.
