Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort, Great time !

My boyfriend and I visited this resort the week of January 25th. We were very happy with the resort, food, staff and grounds. The only disappointment we had was getting the wrong room upon arrival, but the next day we were moved into the right room. Overall, a very nice resort that we would visit again and highly recommend!

Resort was beautiful! Stunning scenery, very clean and well kept, and very helpful staff. Food was amazing and drinks were endless! Beach’s clean and spectacular, as well as the pools! 100% recommend and would go back!

Fun Holiday Beach Resort: Girls Affordable Trip to Jamaica

Jamaica is Beautiful. If you are on a tight budget Fun Holiday is the Resort for you. The Resort has all your basis needs for a All inclusive week in Jamaica. Located right on the Seven Mile Beach with walking access to all the Clubs, Restaurants and Small Resorts. The buffet style food with limited selection had a real Jamaican homestyle good taste. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Most best time ever , other than birth..

Like i say nevrr a better experience and hospitality was even more amazing the beach the poolbar all surrounding experiences in n out of hotel resort . Water n weather was fantastic n thats about all i can say........................

The iberostar is an amazing resort...from your first step off the bus arriving til the time you leave. They strive to make everything beautiful and have success every time. Sunscape Cove: ABSOLUTE BEST!!

I can’t even imagine someone having something bad to say about this resort. Every single thing was amazing. The staff, the food, the beach (SHAMOR THORPE WAS FABULOUS), the drinks , the cleanliness, the rooms, the gardens, the entertainment, the options, the pools...... everything!!!! Should definitely go! Beachcomber Club: Charming resort on a gorgeous beach!

Lovely spacious room with breezy patio in a friendly little resort steps from the best part of a gorgeous beach! We thoroughly enjoyed a fun and romantic two week holiday at this charming resort. The food was tasty and the service was great! We would happily recommend the Beachcomber Club to anyone looking for a laidback holiday within walking distance to a array of entertainment yet quiet enough for a good night sleep!

Samsara Cliff Hotel: Great relaxing time

Hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable. Clean place. Cliffs were awesome and the pool was great. Very chill place to just lay back and enjoy the ocean. Food was good, but not a great variety their restaurant across the street had amazing food.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful resort

The resort is lovely! It is spred out with beautiful landscaping, covered walkways and great pools. The food was good, the service was great and the rooms were big, clean and quite nice. This was my second time there, just as nice as ten years ago.

Beautiful well kept grounds. Lots of choice for dinner - good food Rooms are large and clean, only complaint about the room was originally had a room that faced the parking lot. I booked well in advance to get a room with a better view. I went to the front desk the next morning and was told they "might" be able to find me another room. Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great Family Friendly Resort

Beautiful Beach. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The resort does need some up dating but the rooms were clean. The water park was a huge hit with the kids. Not crowded - plenty of beach chairs. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food, you'll need to go outside of the resort. Overall - if you are looking for small, accessible, affordable and family friendly resort, it's a great option.

Grand Pineapple Beach: Not bad

The pool should’ve been on the beachside ran out of liquor and beer and no entertainment at night The weather was good the walks down the beach were really good and we ventured over to Rick’s Café which was really good but is far is the resort we won’t stay there again

Riu Reggae: Great compact resort!

I would give this resort a 5* rating IF they had had in room coffee and the halls had been more sound proofed! The food overall was excellent with the specialty restaurants being the preferred night time dining option. Entertainment crew was enthusiastic and excellent. Good water aerobics. However we found the gym sparse. No leg equipment. Yes there were some free weights but minimal upper body machines. A 5* IMHO should have a better equipped gym. We cruise a lot and have been to dozens of resorts so not having coffee in the room and a so so gym made this not quite a 5*. The beach is not very wide but it is clean. The water was sometimes murky. We did have privileges st RIU Montego Bay but not RIU Palace. We chose RIU Reggae for its Adults Only vibe. It was fine. There was nothing we considered risqué. If you want risqué go to a Hedonism resort!😜 Hubs was able to get Chivas Regal but no really top notch Scotch here. The vodkas and rums were also middle of the road. House white wine was not good but more expensive bottles were available for purchase. House red was passable for lunch. Beer was excellent. There were a lot of mixed drinks we saw being had by others. However neither of us were sweet drink fans so have no idea of their worth. Pools were hip deep. That’s it. Two pools and both had swim up bars. There was volleyball on the beach and in one pool daily. Lots of 20, 30 and 40 something couples at this resort. They were very active at the bars and in the pools. We are young seniors😜 but we were in the minority. We just mostly chilled. So all in all a good 12 days spent here.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great resort

We had such a great time at this resort in Jamaica. The grounds were so clean and we didnt see a lot of staff working on it. There was a wide variety of food on the buffet, all very tasty. The servers were very friendly. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I would recommend this resort to anyone

Riu Ocho Rios: Riu Ocho Rios

We enjoyed our vacation at the Riu Ocho Rios...we had a room situation upon check in; the room was very clearly not cleaned properly (no glasses, open beers and sodas in fridge, sand in the bed, no freah towels) BUT the hotel staff provided excellent customer service which we appreciated. We had a new clean room the next afternoon. Personally i found the resort quite outdated but its not a big deal but something they could consider renovationg. Shaw Park: Relaxing vacation

Sunscape Cove: Best time best staff

We absolutely loved our stay. Lots for the kids to do pools all over and the ocean behind you. The staff is top notch from Stephen to Vinroy to André to Javon. Planning our trip there for next year. If you can go and enjoy. Lots of food choices as well

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wondeful Resort

This resort was in my mind 6 starred. Food was great at the buffets and ala cart restaurants, grounds were impeccable, beach was great as well as the pool area and lots of activities excursions and entertainment throughout the day. Very good customer service and very clean in the room and washrooms and throughout the resort. I loved this resort and certainly will return. i will try the luxury side of this resort next time.

Secrets St James: 13th trip was a charm

We can only get away for 3 nights due to responsibilities at home. We need a great resort close to the airport. Every minute in Jamaica counts and we do not have time for traveling further once we arrive on the island. We have be staying at Secrets since 2012. This was our 13th trip to Secrets Montego Bay. On our past trips we usually stayed at Wild Orchid Preferred. Unfortunately this building was totally booked by groups. First time staying at St. James Preferred. It was to our benefit. Al [... read more]l the rooms in our building had been recently painted and refurbished. The hotel staff were as wonderful as always. The grounds are being well maintained and improved. The only major disappointment was with our first dinner at Secret’s Bordeaux. We have found it in the past to be a special dining experience but in the last few years it has been touch and go. Considering this is a restaurant that requires formal attire both our dinners were an extreme disappointment. Usually this is the only restaurant we want to eat at every night for dinner. The saving grace was that being in a Secrets preferred building we had access the Breathless which is located beside Secrets. Breathless is about 2 years old and the environment and the food were a welcomed change and definite improvement from Secrets. The adventure started for us at Breathless at the restaurant on the first floor off the main lobby. It was Spoon for buffet breakfast (not as many menu options as World Cafe but the quality is superb! Dinners were at Culinaria (second nights dinner was continental and the last meal was Italian). Since we were staying at St James preferred the walk to Breathless was just outside our building by taking a bridge over the road. Our steps are numbered so we were in the best building closest to Breathless. Every meal we had at Breathless was purely an enjoyable dining experience. The staff at Breathless are second to none. We like staying at St. James Preferred because it was quieter and the ocean view is spectacular. Breathless was our choice destination for daytime at the pool and evenings at the rooftop bar to watch the cruise ships depart and enjoy the hills of Jamaica. The rooftop bar offered the best views when there was a sunset. I hope they continue offer this perk of being at 2 resorts in the same holiday. Can't wait for trip 14.
