Food at this resort was excellent, fresh wide variety & great service by all the staff. The room's beds were comfortable. Being on the first floor , we could hear all that went on in the hallway ,on the ceramic tile & people talking loud, dragging their luggage was amplified late at night. We would return , nice beaches & water

I don’t have much to say. Great staffs. Food was good.The only thing I didn’t like is the place that they put the hot tub. Outside in the garden. We couldn’t even use it once because of the bugs, specially the mosquitos.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Newly renovated rooms!

It's my second time staying here at Bahia Principe. It has been newly renovated with new rooms and facilities like the gym and sports bar. Service is amazing. The staff still remember me from 2 years ago!

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Best Resort Ever

30 hours into my trip I acquired an injury to my right ankle while dancing at the night club. NELSON was absolutely amazing at making sure I was okay on a daily basis until I left 5 days later. He even supplied the wheelchair at NO cost. The staff was genuinely caring. Koodos to the reception desk as well. Thanks VENENCIA FAUSTO! I’ve definitely done my share of travelling but will always go back as this is my favourite resort by far. Clean, tidy and very friendly atmosphere.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Relaxing vacation

I thought the food and service was amazing grounds were well kept. I enjoyed the infinity pool great view of the ocean. I would of liked a Rep at the resort to show my friend and I around because we had to figure it out and ask around. We unfortunately did miss some events we would have liked to attend. All in all was a great week definitely relaxed and enjoyed my stay

Went there for my parents in laws 30th year anniversary. The resort was great, food was amazing! I would definitely recommend for older people or people who are looking to relax and not party a lot. I am on the other hand like to party, their carts made it very easy to get to the neighboring resorts for all sorts of late night activities. There is great entertainment there but it ends at 11pm. The only thing I did not like was how the pools close at 7 pm. 100% will return

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Nice and relaxing but beware of food

Summary: Pros: Small boutique hotel with good service and variety of wellness activities. Cons: Beware of buffet food, had food poisoning which tainted our vacation (hence 3/5 rating). Details: We stayed there at the end of August for one full week. We chose this hotel because of its small size and the fitness programs they offered. In general we enjoyed our stay. The hotel's occupancy was apparently at 40%. The benefits were that there were plenty of unoccupied beach and pool chairs. You  [... read more]often had the pool to yourself which we enjoyed. However their activity programs and restaurants were also understandably operating with reduced offerings. The beach itself is pretty and essentially private but rather small (not suitable for long walks along the beach). The team responsible for the fitness activities were very friendly and passionate. We enjoyed all their activities (yoga, paddle board yoga, paddle board aquafit, tai chi, functional training, GAP, martial fit, ...). The people who stood out from the team were Freddy and Nerfri. Their fitness facilities even had a punching bag, kettlebells, and pairs of fitness equipment (ellipticals, treadmills, bikes,...) to allow working out with your significant other. Ramon who worked at the pool bar and José who worked at the restaurants stood out. Their attitude, friendliness, and attentiveness were remarkable. My wife and I are vegetarians so the food selection at times was limited especially when it comes to getting some protein rich foods. However, the staff were usually accommodating about it. I did get food poisoning (in the middle of our vacation) after one of the buffet dinners. It was rather unpleasant and I had to spend a day confined to our room. The vacation wasn't the same afterwards but we tried to make the most out of it. The staff was shocked about the food poisoning incident but accommodated our requests for rather simple food to help with the recovery. Overall it took about two weeks to fully recover from it. A lot of the staff who were aware of it did ask about my well being several times which was nice and thoughtful. Anyway, the hotel and staff generally deserve their 5-star rating. The food poisoning was an unfortunate event and didn't allow us to take full advantage of our vacation. Overall it was a positive experience at Luxury Bahia Principe Samana, but the food poisoning and lengthy recovery only allow us to give it a 3/5 rating.

The Best all inclusive resort I've ever been. I'll certainly go back there. Outstanding food, great drinks, great beach, super kind staff, amazing attractions, super clean common areas, good room, huge variety of restaurants.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Recomanded destination!

This resort is great. No negative comments to think of . Great food. Great rooms. Butler service included. Access to all a la carte restaurant through an APP. I would recomand this resort to anyone. Couples or family. SCUBA Diving excursion was a great experience and of good value

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Mediocre resort

The hotel itself was half decent. The grounds are up kept very nicely. The room however did not have a working fridge in it, the bathtub/shower was falling apart and the mattress was far from comfortable. Though there was access to service 24/7, the quality of such service wasn’t always the greatest. Most concerns were brushed off and the staff were almost rude at times. Pools and beach well maintained. Buffets could use more variety of foods from day to day.

there is a restriction of 3 restaurants . bad room service .. good beach and pools .. but bad service and customer service ... pay 100 more and stay at a different resort . u might be better. i was all stressed because of bad service

overall had a great time. The place is beautiful. Pools, especially by the ocean, gorgeous. Food was very good. Lots variety. Beach was nice. A little seed-weedy nest shore but that was from stuff coming in from the ocean, not the beach itself so think they’d just the way it is right now. The rooms were nice. Spacious enough. We actually missed our original bus to the hotel but our Rep got us in another bus so worked fine. Check in was good. The had two rooms on main floor near lobby so was nice. They had given us two rooms both with king beds vs one with two queens and other with king. But both rooms had a cot in them and each had a couch that was comfortable to sleep on - as per the kids! So that was fine and because we were close to the lobby it was fine. We decided not to ask for a switch. Our keys needed reprogramming multiple times so this was a little pain getting locked out of Both rooms. The entertainment was good and right beside us. Bars were good. We spent most of our time at the beach and beach pools during the day. We took our own cups which was good because a few times at the beach they ran out of glasses. Lobby bar was good but closed st 1130 so this was early in our opinion. And the beach restaurant that was supposed to be open over night wasn’t the two times we went down. Not the end of the world. I just made sure I grabbed a couple snacks for later st dinner or we hit the dining room after the even show for a snack. The hard sell on the beach from the vendors and the resort sellers at times too much. Much Different from Cuba which did not have same hard sell. Overall it was a great place and experience. I would go back to the Dominican again and recommend this place. If I went back I’d ask go a room near the front like we had. It’s only a 10 min walk to the beach and the trolleys run often.

This resort was absolutely wonderful. The food was always amazing with a large variety, lots of 24 hr options and different restaurants to choose from. Buffets always had different ethnicity sections that switched out daily. Staff was so kind and thoughtful. Everyone was helpful and quick to make our stay amazing. Trolleys to different areas in the resort came very often, room service was very quick and we always received phone call check ups to ensure we received what was ordered. It made things very easy to plan out and super affordable We had a great time

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica - Sept 2019

My boyfriend and I stayed here from Sept 2-9, 2019. This hotel was good in a lot of aspects including the food (although as many all-inclusives do, the buffet got quite repetitive - and we only stayed a week). The al a cartes were pretty good, but I wish they had a restaurant dedicated to more authentic Jamaican food. The hotel isn't really near anything that you could walk to to try some good jerk chicken or peppered shrimp, so I was hoping that there would be access to this stuff on the resort [... read more]. Another great aspect of the hotel was the pools and the entertainment. Although we missed out on the entertainment the first few nights that we were there because of how large the grounds are, the performances that we did see were great. The beaches were just alright. They were not that nice sandy beach that you were looking for, as once you got into the water the ground was very rocky and not comfortable to stand on in bare feet and it explained why a lot of people were wearing water shoes. The main beach there is pretty far from any bars, so if you're a drinker, I would definitely recommend grabbing more than one drink for you trek back to the beach. The staff was great. Specifically Kenroy at the omelette station in the morning - miss him already! Overall, there are a few things that need improvement but I would come back to this resort again.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Had a Great Time

The welcome was great and fast. The food was good. Some of it, quite a bit of it was EXCEPTIONAL. The room was beautiful and clean with a cute balcony. The Beach was super if you like a long walk either direction. Lots of Palapas!. Great drinks including a few little bottles in your fridge to tide you over. Bars hospitality was ok. When you stay at the Bouganvillia to avoid the rug rats you can also visit the friends rug rats next door at La Romana which has an awesome Beach lunch restaurant. Really Really good in every way. Friendly reminder. TIP. Leave a tip with each group you touch. Even a small one like 50 pesos.We noticed many did not leave a tip and that made me sad when we consider the only reason this business model works is because the country is developing. Just book it!!

Very quiet resort. Food was amazing. I was upset that we couldn't bring food to our room. Wish we could bring food from the buffet and snack bar to the rooms. Also wish the snack bar was better ventilated to avoid mosquitos and have some AC. I also wish it had a gym. We also had bugs in our room but overall our stay was okay. We were able to travel to three other resorts and use their amneties which is a plus. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful Resort so many ways

Before travelling to the resort I read lots of reviews and had some concerns. After my stay there I am pleased to say that this resort exceeded probably all expectations. The rooms were beautiful and so clean, the multiple beaches and pools were all perfect and left so many choices daily. The food was excellent as well at the buffets and the ala carte restaurants. Absolutely beautiful ! Fantastic service, excellent food. It was great to be able to use all of the hotels in the complex. Entertainment team was awesome. We are already looking at dates book it again ! We cannot wait to go back !!
