Ocean Blue and Sand: Very relaxing vacation. Superb

Liked; Mikes Coffee …wonderful decor and attention to detail by its staffing and quality of coffees and pastries superb. Ice cream hut and popcorn machine during evenings Route 99(brisket and chicken wings and salad), Italian, Mexican and Hibachi Sensai restaurants wonderful. Did not try French. international night at buffet.. very nice cheeses and great choices at buffet made it a great dinner. Pools very clean lunch down at beach very extensive. Dislikes; No fried fresh garlic shrimp ( didn’t see much shrimp period) but prefer. Fried in fry,ing pan with fresh garlic. Ummmmm Only Pepsi no coke. Piano bar enclosure too close to main lobby entertainment bar. They should consider swapping the priveledge club room and piano bar with the reception to alleviate this issue. Need to have more consistency throughout resort when it comes to knowing how much alcohol to mix in drinks. Many tenders lack even basic skills…. Example. Black Russian is not half and half. Spanish coffee is not americano. LOL Lots more to say but above will probably keep me coming back.

Ocean Blue and Sand: True to It's Name OCEAN BLUE

Loved this hotel as it ticked all the boxes. Lovely beach, awesome Mike's coffee shop. Icecream parlour, nice rooms, well kept grounds, friendly staff , great entertainment group and delicious food with a wide variety.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Not a 4 star resort

The room we stayed at would need more cleaning and air conditioning didn't do anything. It is supposed to be renovated but looks like it has to be renovated again. The food is the same as any other Bavaro resort and I'm sure they all get the same suppliers. The service was really good. The beach isn't the white sands of Bavaro but still good.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Didn't have good experience

Not much food for vegetarians.. we ate only rice and beans for lunch and dinner day after day. So we didn't really enjoy our stay. Also, there was no shower gel and not enough towels in the bathroom. We had to keep calling the reception to bring them over. Majority of the staff don't understand English, even the staff at the reception don't understand English that was very frustrating..

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Amazing Resort!

This was our first time staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. They have something for everyone. In the hotel, they have Escape Rooms, a Bowling Alley, an Arcade, a VR room, Lazor Tag and mini Golf. They have an ice cream parlor! The grounds and pools are beautiful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was incredible. Very spacious and clean. The bathroom was almost as big as the rest of the suite. I am sure you could have fit 5 or 6 people in the shower room alone. The foo [... read more]d was always very good with lots of options. Sadly, the Lazy River was closed for renovations when we got there, but we had fun playing in the Ocean. Overall, had a wonderful week and would definitely recommend it. Tropical Deluxe Princess: Tropical paradise

The pools grounds and public areas were constantly maintained. Our room was amazing. The staff eager to please and very helpful. Only downfalls are the sand fleas and that the pool entertainment was quite loud during siesta time. Did not see any nightly shows as the started too late for us.

Riu Republica: Not a 5 star!!

We have travelled to Punta Cana multiple times. We’ve stayed at family resorts and also adults only resort. This resort was by far the worst. We booked this resort based on the fact that it was adults only and a 5 star. It is not a 5 star! The resort was dirty and not well maintained. The food at the main buffet was awful. The pillows were awful. We are extremely disappointed and feel as if we were fooled into booking this resort as trip central advertises it as a 5 star. We feel very disappointed.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Great resort!

We love this resort and will visit again. The flights were great and everything went smoothly in both airports. The rooms are spacious and clean, service is excellent and so is the food. We had a wonderful time.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great value

All in all great resort with a wonderful location offering lots of different decent food and entertainment options. Not sure if you could find a better resort for the price in the Dominican therefore I strongly recommend it.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Amazing resort

The resort was great. We are not picky visitors, but seen a lot. Rooms clean, staff responsive, food selection was good, beach area was clean and safe. Pools were clean. In general all was ok, without big surprises. The only thing- if you stay at Fantasia place - it is a good walk/run to get to the beach, shuttle needed.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Conflicted.

Second time at this resort and left feeling a little disappointed. We booked a beachfront suite and upon arrival was told it was not available. Was offered $200 credit. We insisted on the room that we booked and was promised it for the following day after about an hour of conversations with the front desk management. It was provided the next afternoon and we did still get the credit. Our room was amazing and the outdoor patio space was big and beautiful! We are beach people (rarely go in the po [... read more]ols) and the beach here is our favourite. Lots of seating and clean. If you want a cabana you have to be there very very early. Food and service has definitely gone down. Buffet was not staffed very well and constantly out of things. Hibachi was great a lot of fun. Seaside restaurant for breakfast was always delicious but the dinners were very inconsistent. Seemed disorganized compared to before. Spa was awesome but only because we knew what to expect. After our massage you can use the hydrotherapy. Usually they let you know and guide you through it but the gentleman that was suppose to do that was not interested in guiding us and had we not known about it, we would have left without going. He definitely rushed us through but we made our own time and just did what we knew. The resort itself is beautiful! Have mixed feeling on if we will return. Definitely not the quality and service we received on our last visit.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Bacelo hotel in Dominican Republic

We stayed here for 4 days . It was our 1st time travel. The beach the pool was nice and we felt safe while we here. The hotel room wasn't big and so dark. We couldn't sleep and relax because the staffs started to clean and maintain the garden area by 8am( it was so annoying). The food is ok to eat( no coconut serve for free and no seafood at well even we went to seafood restaurants). Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were well laid out, plenty of drawers and closet space, beds were comfortable, and it was well equipped with iron, hair blower and magnifying mirror. Plenty of restaurant choices, gluten free options for those that require it. The beach is lovely and for those that like to walk there is a long expanse to walk along. Service was quite good but there is a lot of walking in this resort.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Great week!

Eliana Anton from Trip Central got a good package for us three. Looking to play golf , we had to deal with afternoon reservations but we had a great time. ( not necessarily if we speak about golf performances but it is another story ! )

Occidental Punta Cana: Great time at this resort!

Beautiful beach with palm trees that offered enough shade for us. Very nice shaped pools with various degrees of depth. Amazing animacion team. Nice grounds, lobby, buffet food - but no bacon during our stay, lol. Live music in the lobby in the afternoons. The negative reviews didn't materialize for us, except, maybe, for one thing - waiting staff could be more hospitable, but eventually we found pleasant people and we stuck with those. Ocean Blue and Sand: Very nice

Our family of 13 recently travelled to Ocean Blend Sand resort. Everything was exceptional. Excellent service, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Pools were amazing and the beach divine! Music, shows and lobby bar was fun. Definately a place to visit! Thankyou!!!

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Top Notch Resort!

I have travelled to many different places in the Caribbean and this resort is at the top of my favourites. Everything from the food to the rooms to the staff was 10 out of 10. There is a great mix of age groups at the resort. the hotel has some theme nights and they do a great job putting on a show/party in the lobby area each night as well as lots of fun activities if you wish to participate during the day. We are definitely coming back here!

Family vacation 13 of us and we had a great time ! Food was great very clean friendly staff and extremely accommodating getting us tables to fit such a big group ! Beach was so beautiful. Every morning our waiter would have our table ready to eat breakfast. We are very pleased with this resort and will be back again! Thank you Tammy for recommending this beautiful resort!!!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Beyond Expectations !

Out trip to Dreams Royal Beach resort was a multi purpose trip ..It was a family Vacation with our adult children and thier spouses , some immediate family members , I was celebrating my 60th Birthday and to top out the week ; my commonlaw spouse and I were married on the beach ! The Hotel is in great location and just a short drive from the Airport ; right on the beautiful Baravo Beach . The Resort is very nice but is showing its age . The rooms were clean , comfortable and well appointed..We opted for the preferred level and were very well taken care of thanks to Billy . Billy really made us feel like family , he answered all our questions and made sure our stay was perfect ! He took really great care of our group , always stopping to chat and check to see how we were enjoying our day and if we needed anything . Billy is a great guy and a valuable asset to the resort The Hyatt group is lucky to have staff like him . Another guy that made us feel welcome was our pool bar server Victor , he always met us with a smile , a thumbs up , high5s He seemed to go out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of he often stop by our swim up to chat and say hello and check if we wanted anything He's a young man making his way and doing a great job ! Our wedding planner Andres he did such an amazing job planning our special day on the beach . It was wonderful ! He guided us through the day , Awesome job Andres I dont think the ceremony could have been more beautiful ! Thank you .. We didn't make it to every dining option...Seaside Grill was very good breakfast options were great and food very good .
