Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very Nice Resort

Service was good, food good, rooms clean, staff was pleasant. I had read some negative reviews on Trip Advisor, and I must say, it was nothing like what I had read. We had plenty of hotwater, didn't bother with the A La Cartes as we enjoyed the buffet food, every night was something different. It is rather large resort with some stairs to deal with at times. But, really not that bad, not a place where you need to trolly everywhere. The Beach to the left was very nice, and you were never to far [... read more] away from a bar. Entertainment on the patio was great. Bus ride was about 1.5hrs with a short break about half way.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing resort

The resort is very clean, always being kept up; staff are all very kind and will go out of their way to serve along with a smile. Al a cart were all great food and the steak house restaurant was outstanding. Japanese restaurant also outstanding. Beach had sharp rocks that hurt my feet. You had to find a spot that did not have rocks. Did not like the sand on the beach - was not pleasant to walk on barefoot. Was more like pebbly, rather than soft silky sand. Grand Pineapple Beach: Great little Resort

The beach at this resort was fantastic, food was great, rooms were clean and staff were friendly, although some could smile a little more. The one thing that could be improved is the pool location, you had to cross the road to the garden side rooms where the pool is located which did not have a bar. There is plenty of room on the beach side to install a pool and this would make the resort more pleasurable for us, as we are pool people. Excellence Oyster Bay: Work in progress

The layout of the resort is great. But for being less than 1 year its already in rough shape. Being a new resort the staff needs some training, they are slow and not enough staff on hand. For the most part food was very good. We had a private pool which got no sun. The water in our pool was very cold. We asked to be moved to another room, they moved us to building 2 the only one that got sun. If you are wanting a private pool request building 2 or do not bother.

Riu Montego Bay: Excellent Value for the Money

This resort is excellent value for your money. The resort is clean and well maintained. The pool area is large and plenty of lounge chairs are available. The beach is small but not over crowded. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the beach. The room itself was small but functional. The food was above average. The buffet had a large and varied selection for both breakfast and dinner. The al a carte restaurants also had excellent meals and service, except for the Steakhouse. The meal was ter [... read more]rible. All in all I would recommend this resort, very highly.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Awesome

Beautiful quaint little resort. Very personalized, great staff, nice rooms and good food! The beach was fantastic, very well manicured every morning and great for snorkeling. Shamala at the lobby bar was amazing and attentive to all.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: AMAZING RESORT

RETURNED HOME AFTER A WEEK. WE HAVE TRAVELLED QUITE A BIT AND HAD NEVER COME AWAY WITH SUCH A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE. EXTREMELY CLEAN AND UP TO DATE RESORT WITH ALL THE AMENITIES YOU WOULD EXPECT. THE GROUNDS ARE IMMACULATE. FOOD FAB!! DEFINITELY A 5 STAR. WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN AND RECOMMEND!!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: #1 Jamaica vacation

The best place I’ve ever stayed. Second to none hospitality.Greatest food ever.Great entertainment nightly. Beaches were kept clean and daily barbecues ,they were fantastic. Poolside entertainment was awesome. Beach activities were fun on the beach. Room service was great. Sad to leave😟

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Solid 4 star resort

Stayed at this resort from Jan.9-16and had a great time. Flew with Sunwing and that was horrible but no reflection on the resort. Grounds were very nice with fixups ongoing. There was a few issues with bar/restaurant closures due to low season that I wish I had known about earlier. Only went to 1 ala carte which was excellent (Jambalaya). Funny though , the place was empty although many people were told it was fully booked. Heard this was pretty common. All staff were more than friendly and all  [... read more]you had to do was ask and they would make it happen. Special shout out to Monique at the beach. Such a wonderful lady!! Vendors at the beach were fun . All you have to say is no and they leave you alone if that is what you want. I like to get to know them myself. You get a better idea of true island life. Ask them to make up a rap for you, it's a blast. Oh and one last thing , the food is amazing!! You will enjoy.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Fantastic resort

Absolutely beautiful, amazing people and service, clean, and great food. Would definitely recommend, would suggest staying 10 days because you lose basically 2 days in travel time. Quite far from the airport

Riu Negril: Super resort and staff with so much to do!

The rooms were big and clean, food was AMAZING!!! with so much selection, grounds and pool immaculate, staff were all friendly and fun, shows were great...the only downfall was the sand flies (fleas) and ants (dont go in the grass). They were horrible and attacked us day and night. We talked to some locals who said it was the time of year. We really couldnt even enjoy the beach though because they were even worse there. Oh and our 3 different bug sprays didnt help. Home 3 days now and the bites  [... read more]are still itchy. We still had an amazing stay though and this was by far our favourite all inclusive to date because of the staff and all of the variety the resort offers.

Sunscape Splash: Amazing resort

Very clean well organized room always clean food was good very friendly and helpful the service from the staff makes the resort a nice place to be . Quite by 11pm to put kids to bed but you can party at some great places near by .lots to do at the resort for kids or adults But the tour excursion niver no time

Sunscape Cove: Fantastic Family Resort

Our family had a wonderful vacation. Our room was clean, well maintained, quiet, with excellent daily service. The restaurants were fantastic with a great choice of local and American food choices along with a children's menu. The grounds were large with an excellent ocean beach, good snorkeling, and several pools. The water park was fantastic where the children never tired of the lazy river and slides and various areas to explore. The staff was very friendly and helpful and many activities were provided throughout the day and evening. Definitely a resort where anyone would be happy to return.

Hedonism II: Very, very good... but there's a new concern

We've been coming to Hedonism 2 since 2012, and it has improved dramatically in nearly every way since then. The rooms are small but nicely renovated, and we always had lots of water pressure at whatever temperature we wanted. The air conditioning works perfectly and wasn't too loud. The food is excellent in the dining room and in all 3 restaurants - tasty, abundant variety, and attractively presented. The nude pool snack building has way more variety, too. The staff are friendly and attentive.  [... read more]The grounds are beautiful - not 5-star, but very, very nice. There's now Wi-fi everywhere, not just in the astroturf patio area. The talented entertainment staff are a joy, though the sound quality needs improvement as it's too echoey and too loud. Snorkelling and glass-bottom boat tours are part of the all-inclusive package at no extra cost and leave right from the pier at the beach. Hang around at night to view the the spotted rays and barracudas feeding in the shallow waters. That's not the wild life I expected to see at Hedo! Other highlights include the beach meal and concert, fire jugglers, grand buffet with lobster, and high-energy mood the entertainment staff drum up even when they're not on stage. The legendary Hedo atmosphere for the open minded and not too squeamish is just as lively as it's ever been. Everything was clean - even the nude hot tub! The playroom is a beautiful Roman-bath inspired oasis. There's a newer playroom near the nude pool. It's all the fun and indulgence you could ask for. Too bad we couldn't partake of it for the whole trip. I've never been sick in Jamaica before, but boy was I ever this time. A gastro-intestinal bug made us lose two days in physical distress, not to mention the emotional distress of knowing it's costing us over $600 bucks a day to feel that bad. We were not the only ones, as we met several other couples where one or both were also sick. I strongly recommend that anyone going to Hedo take an oral vaccine available in drug stores to prevent traveller's diarrhea at least two weeks before leaving. The greater concern though is that something about the food acquisition/handling or water supply has changed to cause this problem that we'd never encountered or heard of others encountering at Hedo before. Overall, I recommend this resort, but beware that a risk more often associated with D.R. or Mexico is definitely here.

The room we were in was clean and your standard room. The pool and beach areas were nice. The bartenders at the swim up bar were fantastic. Friendly, remembered your drink orders and were entertaining. There is always something available somewhere on the resort for you to eat. No one would ever go home hungry. The buffet restaurant although the food was good it was basically the same menu each night. I would recommend reservations at 1 of 3 specialty restaurants. When making a reservation for [... read more] one of the restaurants you need to do this as soon as you get to the hotel or before if possible. We arrived at the hotel at around 6 pm, we made our reservations the following morning at 9:30. Two of the three restaurants only had availability left for one night of the six remaining nights we were there and the seating times were not until 8:30 at night. For some people this time might be fine, however, for myself I would prefer an earlier seating. The specialty restaurants were a steak house, a Japanese restaurant and a Cajun restaurant. The Japanese restaurant had the best seating times and you could pick from several days. By far the Japanese restaurant had the best food and entertainment. I would highly recommend making a reservation or two at this restaurant. When we were there the hotel was not anywhere near capacity so you could was find a lounge chair near the pool. However I don’t know if some of the entertainment during the day was lacking because there was not the clientele. The evening entertainment was your typical resort type show. Nice way to end your day after a day at the beach or pool. My recommendation however, for the evenings entertainment is that it start earlier. The shows did not start until 9:45 which seemed late, especially if you have children. All in all nice clean resort with super friendly staff.

Riu Negril: Great resort

The Riu hotel was great. The entertainment team is outstanding and envolve all guests. The food at the Buffett was great with a high variety and always changing. Rooms and grounds were well maintained.

Couples Swept Away: Superlative!

Superb resort from every point of view: accommodation, food, beach, facilities, programs. What is most unique is the all-inclusive sports, including tennis lessons, sailing lessons, scuba, and the like. This is the ideal resort for the active couple who doesn't just want to laze by the beach and drink alcoholic drinks...

Sandals Dunn's River: Amazing time

WE had a great time. This is not our first time to Jamaica. We would definitely recommend JDR if you wish a small all adult resort only. The staff at the hotel were very friendly from the time of arrival to departure. The hotel and grounds are very clean. We ate at all the restaurants (Aquamarina, Jade Samurai, Moonstone, Platinum, Coral Reef, and Court Jesters Pizza). The food was amazing, Gregory and his team from the Aquamarina Beer Bar & Grill served the BEST cheese burgers. The b [... read more]artenders were amazing they made the best BBC, margarita and brandy alexanders (plus the beer was good) The entertainment crew were very friendly and funny. Played some golf on the property (BW Golf Classic in Jamaica)

Riu Reggae: Loved the Reggae Resort!

First, I'd like to thank Laura M-S for arranging a great trip and making the whole thing a smooth time. The resort was excellent and the service was top-notch. The food had great variety and was professionally prepared and presented. Highly recommended!
