Riu Emerald Bay: Great vacay for price
Large hotel, rooms were small and dated, pools were very tired w the concrete breaking off, the food started off ok but got better as the week went on, one bank machine and it wasn’t working all week, lack of excursions, entertainment was great, staff was very nice especially the entertainment staff Lower quality than other rui hotels
Riu Palace Costa Rica: Great resort
Resort was clean, food was excellent and pleased that there wasn’t any difficulty in finding shaded pool chairs. Service was good at this resort. Had no difficulty in reserving any of the a la carte restaurants.
Riu Santa Fe: So disappointed
We have bragged about how wonderful the Rui Santa Fe in Los Cabos was for awhile now. Finally we were able to get our friends all together at the same time. (8 couples in our 50’s) The food once again was great. Service was amazing! But... they have now started letting teenagers come for 1/2 the price & wow! It’s absolutely crazy. And not in a good way. I have never written a review before but strongly feel the need to warn the next visitors. We are the kind of people that don’t like t [... read more]
Riu Playacar: Great resort all around.
Very clean, great food choices, lots to do for couples and kids/families. Shopping is across the street. We were very sceptical about visiting Mexico but had a great time with the kids 3 and 7 months. We felt very safe and would definitely return.
Riu Palace Aruba: First class resort
This hotel was beautiful! All the staff was so friendly. Exceptional buffet breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the speciality dinner restaurants and the ease with getting a table. Lovely clean beach, not too busy. Fun games in the afternoons at the pool. Interesting concept for adjoining rooms. They worked beautifully well with my grandchildren as we were able to leave our doors open and go back and forth across the hall while leaving the door to the main hallway closed. The rooms were very large a [... read more]
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Wonderful resort !
Hotel was awesome, our third year in a row here and were going back next year again. we have been many places and at many resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. This is our personal favorite. Resort is beautiful, staff are great, food is awesome for all inclusive.
Riu Cancun: Worth Considering!
The hotel public areas, grounds and food were great! Rooms were a good size with great views. The only small complaint I would have is around the quality of linens and sparse bedding. This resort also attracts a large number of young adults.
Riu Flamingos: Very Enjoyable Resort
Facility was Great, Staff was Great, other Guests where Great. Recommendations; Please teach the chef's how to COOK BACON!!!! I don't remember seeing so much garbage on the beach.(cigarette butts) Must find a way to Remove the Two Center Pillars in Front of the Stage.
Riu Montego Bay: Wonderful winter get away
RIU Hotel Montego Bay was an amazing resort! Everything was close; the buffets, the pool, the beach and the bar and entertainment was all so close each other. The grounds were well kept and clean and had an intimate feel! Great resort for families! The kids club was fabulous! A wide variety of fun activities for the children. All staff were friendly and happy and had great customer service! Food was phenomenal! Entertainment (the shows) were very professional and all of the p [... read more]
Riu Santa Fe: Nice Resort
The resort itself is well kept and is very clean. It has amazing views of the mountains and crystal clear waters. The food is just ok and so r the drinks. Nothing to write home about. Price point is a little high as it was $3000 a werk for a couple at the RIU Santa Fe. We happened to be at one of the US spring breaks so it was quite loud and disruptive at nights. Seems more of a party resort than a relaxation resort. Although i have to say staff were very friendly and were very accomodating. W [... read more]
Riu Montego Bay: Fantastic Vacation!
We were a group of 17 (9 adults and 8 kids aged 4-10). The Riu was a great choice for our group, and set us up near each other, which we had requested before travelling. The hotel had a perfect combination of fun activities and for the kids and adults alike. A short walk from the buffet to the pool to the beach made getting around the resort very convenient. The workers were always quick with a smile and the service and food were both excellent. We had no complaints and would definitely go b [... read more]
Riu Republica: Perfect Vacation
The Hotel was impeccably clean. The Food was top notch. The staff was the most friendliest and courteous. The beach was beautiful and always had a lounge chair. The entertainment team was wonderful.
Riu Palace Antillas: Fabulous destination holiday
One week gave us a enough of a taste to realize we wanted to come back to Aruba; to explore more of this beautiful island and enjoy all it has to offer. We loved the all day breeze -and even though the days were hot - we did not feel the need to escape indoors. We felt safe on and off our resort Good food and excellent service The hotel rooms were a bit dated - but no deterrent to our enjoyment. De Palm Off road excursion was a thrill. Sunset cruise was spectacular- Beaches were gr [... read more]
Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful...but a little busy
Grounds were clean ,rooms were clean, restaurants offered a lot of selections ,we went during spring breaker time and we found they were a little under staffed with long line ups for drinks and busy lunch and dinners other than that beautiful resort
Riu Palace Antillas: Great place to visit
The thing they could improve on was the Entertainment shows at night and some of the rooms need to be updated Staff were fabulous The restaurant has fabulous foods and lots of choices There is nothing like the beaches in Aruba
Riu Flamingos: Great resort!
Overall I thought the resort was great!! SUPER clean grounds, there’s a ton of staff and never a speck of dirt anywhere. Rooms were ok, I didn’t have hot water in the shower but that wasn’t a huge deal to me so I didn’t complain. AC worked ok, it was a bit damp but we were barely in the room. Food and drinks were awesome!! The mojitos were my favourite and my hubby loved the ceasers. The a la cartes were ok but we preferred the buffet. I didn’t find the staff as friendly as other place [... read more]
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Remarkable Intimate Unlimited - RIU
A well maintained property with staff that pay attention to detail. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The food is plentiful and tasty. The buffet always has a good variety of options and we enjoyed eating there. We celebrated my birthday at the Steak restaurant and the food and service were exceptional. We enjoyed the entertainment in the evening, especially the Michael Jackson tribute and even found ourselves in the nightclub for an evening drink.
Riu Palace Baja California: Ultra Modern
First impression was it looked out of place next to its traditional style sister hotels. The welcome was warm the staff friendly and the room was excellent. We were on the 3rd floor which could be floor 4,5,6 depending which lift you used. The hotel was spotless and staff were always cleaning. The food in the buffet dining room was good and varied and fresh. The alacart restaurants were a bit hit and miss with the service, they forgot to serve our main course in one. I put this down to the st [... read more]
Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Riu Palace Tropical Bay
The resort was amazingl as always it’s our second time there. The food, service, beach exceptional. And everyone super friendly... Mario had our table for breakfast and lunch ready as soon as we walked in. Thank you Riu 5*
Riu Republica: Something for everyone!
We loved the pools, the bars and buffet. Food was great and the service was impeccable. On the downside was the beach... chairs were unorganized stacked and blocked the ocean view from the shade areas. Seas can be rough so if you want an ocean swim it may be too rough. But we had a blast this place is huge, all ages and tons of activities. Nightlife was fun too.
