Paradisus Grand Cana: Amazing vacation at Falcons!

This is a fantastic family resort! We upgrades to the beyond experience and don’t regret it. The hotel is modern and well maintained and food was delicious. One thing to note is that evening entertainment is not the most fan but the do some activities. However, there are lots of activities for kids and adults during the day. The beach is a short ride away and the provide service every 5 min or so!

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Very Bad Resort

Staff doesn't speak English......don't visit if you can only speak English and doesn't know Spanish since all activities are in Spanish. They don't know how to cook chicken, Beds and rooms were smelling bad. All restaurants aren't open everyday and make sure to do reservations if you want to eat at Fine dining restaurant. Overall bad experience at the resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Excellent resort

We stayed at the resort from 11/15/23 to 11/22/23, We travel as a family for birthday of our sister. We absolutely loved this resort. The service was excellent, all the staff we dealt with were amazing and accommodating. We ate at number of a la carte restaurants, Italian Portofino, Maiko Japanese, ElOlivo Mediterranean. Entertainment team was excellent, they do their hardest to always make us feel special. Different entertainment every night, enjoyed it very much. Resort very well maintain, grounds kept meticulous. Rooms specious and very well kept by the cleaning staff, fridge always well stocked. Overall we loved the resort & would recommend any time.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Resort under major reconstruction .

Terrible . After we paid for this 12 day holiday , we were advised that there would be minor construction happening . It was major construction , and anyone going to the beach pool area or beach would have been affected as trucks , cement trucks , drill gamers ,all day long .

Whala Bavaro: Don't waste your money!

One of the worst resorts in DR. Poor food, horrible weak coffee, loud only Spanish music playing everywhere and most staff don't understand English. Pay a little more and stay at a name brand, newer hotel!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Amazing pool!

This resort is just as we expected. The grounds were beautiful, the pool allowed for privacy and socializing. The buffect had a good selection and we enjoyed the hibachi at The Jade restaurant. Our goal was simply r and r. This was a great place to do just that. The rooms were clean but dated however the grounds and pool were gorgeous and that's where we spent our time.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Nice resort

Grounds were nice and well kept disappointed with the workers hardly any spoke English when we tried to have a conversation they would look at us no reply in the dining area some acted like we were bothering them not sure if we would recommend because of the language barrier not the best beach

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Fun Times

Overall resort is nice. Check in smooth-Colonial Club Room is dated and shows it's wear-garden view colonial club w king bed, stocked fridge w what we wanted! Butler service is available if you have What's App, which we did not, so we were unable to use him. Other guests did use the butler service and said amazing things about them. Pool was different to wh [... read more]at we were used to but great. Lots of space, never felt crowded and there is a swim up bar. Club section(adults) has 2 swim up pool bars, 1 quiet and the other loud. They again are not your typical large circular pools but still did the job. Tons of Bali beds which was a nice bonus and bathrooms right there. Great selection of drink including non and alcoholic beverages. Make sure to try the Majestic or the Passion Fruit Mojito along w mini beers Restaurants-main buffet is ok, the beach buffet was our preferred lunch spot. Le Gourmet is reservation ONLY and was impossible to get in, very frustrating. Japanese is not typically our thing either, and again, would not do again, salty mediocre food at best. Mexican/Dominican restaurant was our favorite and portions are insanely LARGE. Due to our short trip, we were unable to go to the Seafood and Steak house, which we heard was good. Variety overall for food was ok, we did not starve and there was plenty. Colonial Club has room service, which we did order from and the pizza is awesome but at least an hour wait. SOMETHING to do nightly. They have good entertainment including karaoke (our fav) shows, live music, dancers, entertainment staff to dance w you, movie nights for kids, beach party, foam party...lots of fun things. Tipping seems to be a big thing there, which can get annoying but it's to your discretion. Overall-we had a great time and would go back(we do not repeat hotels)something for everyone and met some amazing people and staff!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Not impressed

The Jewel Punta Cana left me feeling wowed but not in a good way. The reception staff were rude and ignored the long line up of people waiting to check in. This set a bad tone especially after a long day of flights and waits in multiple airports. There was no direction to our room upon arriving and our bags arrived 2 hours after we got to the room. The rooms are very old and smell musty. Our fridge didn't work and never got fixed until the day before we left. Each day we had to track down housek [... read more]eeping at 5pm to ask for water in our minibar which is very needed considering you can't drink the tap water and must also brush your teeth with bottled water. We ran out of toilet paper and tissues more than once and when we asked for it was told "later." Our TV remote had no back on it and our shower head fell off. Thank goodness I am handy and fixed it myself. The wifi never worked for more than a few minutes at a time and when we asked were told it was from rain that was non existant. Majority of the waiters and bartenders were absolutely wonderful but the housekeeping was very unfriendly and we tipped well but then stopped due to the poor service.This resort is very large and I feel people should be made aware of how much walking there is involved for those that struggle a bit to walk. The outside is gorgeous however it does not match the inside nor the way we were treated. I will not revisit this resort and recommend customer service training for reception staff and housekeeping employees especially when most depend on tips. The rooms also need major upgrades. This is not at all what I expected from a 4 star resort. I felt like I was staying in a sleezy abandoned hotel room.

Iberostar Selection Coral Bavaro: Iberostar Coral

Everything about the Iberostar Coral was perfect. The Staff, the Food, the Grounds. was amazing same as years before. Coral is as was last year an exciting level of service that we enjoy very much. It could not have been better.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Not a Wellness Resort

While you tout yourself as a "Wellness Resort" you do not entirely subscribe to this on-site. I spent almost my entire vacation trying to have NON alcoholic beer as a beverage at the various bars around the resort. Let me correct that...I would have been thrilled to have it at the lobby bar only. I was originally told that the resort had NON-alcoholic beer available and would also put them in the mini fridge. I received 2 the first night and 4 the next night. That was it. I was then  [... read more]told that it (NON alcoholic beer) was only available in very limited quantities to those that stayed at the Level accommodations. I was also told it was upgrade. I was also told that there wasn't enough in all the resorts around the area. Actually I was told a number of things. Originally I was told that I would be taken care of...then those people avoided me like the plague. But you see, I wasn't belligerent, I wasn't rude, I wasn't argumentative. I was asking to be given the same service as those of my group that had paid for an all inclusive experience with alcohol. But it fell on deaf ears. "They are taking care of it." was the my typical answer. Not sure who "they" were but THEY didn't take care of it. To be fair Ubaldo (the manager of the lobby bar) tried his very best to accommodate me but the management team above him seemed to stifle my requests. I actually ended up buying my own NON alcoholic beer from a local store. So I'm looking forward to the credit I will be receiving as a result. Plus the credit for not drinking alcohol but paying for it as part of my package. I'm estimating that it's close to $600 USD. Please refund my credit card accordingly. You are no more committed to wellness than any other all-inclusive resort. I made a life decision to improve my health and you made a corporate decision to castigate me for that decision. I was influential in the decision to host our group of 8 at your resort to satisfy both my friends needs and that of my own. You forced me to literally beg for a NON ALCOHLIC beverage...at a WELLNESS RESORT!!! Pretty ironic! This entire review is directed at the middle and senior management of the Melia Company and of the Punta Cana Beach Resort specifically. To say that I'm disappointed would be a massive understatement and an unfortunate mistake on your part. I look forward to my reimbursement and change to your corporate policy. Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

My hisband and I loved our stay! We look forward to staying again. The staff was outstanding. The food was good and the shows were wonderful. We also enjoyed the souvenir shops that were walking distance on the beach. The coffee shop at grand palladium palace was a.favorite hangoit for is after supper every night

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort

Everything there was beautiful.. great entertainment and friendly staff. Easily can get around this complex with ease. The only thing that was not to our satisfaction was the set up of the washroom/ shower area.. too open with no privacy.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Awesome Resort

Great service and a Very clean resort. Beautiful view. Staff is super friendly and efficient.I’ll definitely go again. Many choices in dining. Very good restaurants and buffet. Shuttle service very helpful.

Ocean El Faro: Ok tesort

The hotel was ok lots of room but found that our clothes were always damp feeling, Food was ok wasn’t very hot and not much for kids to eat for lunch or supper!! Pool was nice beach was not nice at all!!

An absolute paradise! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality, Albenis at the front desk was very helpful. At the main buffet Acuario, Fernando made us feel at home and provided unmatched service. The staff were very friendly, polite, and made us feel welcomed. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our return. A truly remarkable destination for a dream vacation!

Temptation Miches Resort 21 Plus: It is ok!

OMG the place is great! Fantastic Idea! Great atmosphere but poor execution! It is like they created a resort in an area of no other resorts and they want to rape you for any excursion or real food? We have been to Punta Cana area every year in the past five years and the food here is for sure the worst! Horribly over cooked no beef that was not road kill or it very similar. This place is trying to become a fun place for adults but they have the RIP OFF approach to all there extra prices that are less than half in more populated centers like Punta Cana for example a 3 hour boat party boat cruise with snorkeling at the hotel was $300 US for 3 hours with drinks..... same thing in Punta Cana $100.... no taxis,,, massage for a couple $450 steak dinner $ from 65+. The steak house is the worst I am a BBQ nut in Canada cooking steaks for family every weekend for 6-12 people so I know steak! These folks serving the first dinner service at 7 pm ran out of strip lions and proceeded to serve me the last of 6 folks a picante cut which sucked just from looking at! It took 15-20 mins of arguing to convince the waiter this is not what I ordered.... y issues and not his....20 mins later i get a knocked down version of a rib steak in lieu of there mistake but the waiter tried to convince the table it was my mistake in Spanish and would no longer speak to me in English

This was our 3rd visit to the same hotel. We will NOT be returning to your hotel. Staff very unfriendly. Not eager to help or help at all. Service terrible at buffet meals. Food was always on the cold side. Can certainly tell cut backs are in hand as little fish noted on menus especially at buffets. Used to have smoked salmon every morning. Think I saw it there 3 times on our 12 night stay. The salmon that was there looked greasy and very unappetizing therefore never having any. The most annoyin [... read more]g was your construction that we were told was minor. Well jackhammers, cement trucks and constant noise was heard well into our nights. We were told it would be from 8am to 6pm well that was certainly not the case as we saw them working well past 9pm. Not to mention the construction dust always in the air especially around the pool. Calling the front desk for assistance was very slow and the internet was absolutely aweful. We could NOT get wifi in our room the entire time of our stay. Not even on our balcony. Could only access at times in Lobby which was a massive inconvenience. Often ran out of drinks at bar area by lobby and service there horrible. Was happy to leave and come home !!!

This resort is beautiful 🏝️ the grounds are so pretty, the entertainment staff was perfect… all of them had so much enthusiasm, we loved it….. Desiree and Bianca always had smiles and made sure we were never were dehydrated😁 all the à la carts were so good …. You cannot go wrong at this resort ❤️ loved it ❤️….. but must mention one beware …… the Dominican airport …. Had my luggage ram-sacked …. Keep anything of value on your carry on 😣

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

The resort was so manicured and beautiful,the cleanliness of rooms entire resort and the abundance of the food selection was overwhelming. I would definitely revisit this resort. The staff you couldn't of asked for anything more even if there was a language barrier at times,but all good, beach was perfect,over all the Palace oppose to sister resorts would be the closest to a 5 star and value
